Magnet Reverse Magic Card

Yugi declares confidently that his combo to defeat gods has already been ready. Kaiba is very amazed by Yugi's playing, whether Yugi is really serious. Mokuba doesn't understand either. Although the attack points of gods decrease - Obelisk (500), Ra (3000) and Osiris (2000) , they all remain on the field. On the contrary, Yugi has no monster left on his field. Then Yugi continues his move to defeat gods by playing a magic card from his hand, Magnet Reverse. It allows him to resurrect a rock-family type or machine-family type monster from the cemetery onto the field in a defense mode. As a result, Yugi chooses to resurrect Valkyrion the Magnet Warrior (Rock Type Monster) with 3850 defense points. When there is a monster summoned onto the field, special ability of Osiris is activated; Osiris launches its Thunder Force (Shoraidan) to decrease the summoned monster's attack points by 2000. However, Valkyrion the Magnet Warrior is safe by Yugi's trap card, Magnet Force, played previously. By the effect of Magnet Force, it returns the attack of Osiris (2000) to Atem's monsters. As a result, Obelisk (500) is first destroyed. After that Yugi activates special ability of Valkyrion the Magnet Warrior; if Alpha the Magnet Warrior, Beta the Magnet Warrior, and Gamma the Magnet Warrior exist in the graveyard, Yugi can sacrifice Valkyrion the Magnet Warrior to summon three of them onto his field. Therefore, Alpha the Magnet Warrior, Beta the Magnet Warrior, and Gamma the Magnet Warrior are resurrected from the cemetery. When there are three monsters summoned, the special ability is activated again. Osiris launchs its three attacks with 2000 points each against the three magnet warriors. Similarly, the three magnet warriors can block and counter the three attacks by the ability of Magnet Force. Thus, the three attacks of Osiris are returned to Ra and Osiris itself. Ra (3000) gets the two attacks (2000*2=4000), so it is destroyed. In addition, Osiris (2000) gets its own last attack (2000), so it is also destroyed. Yugi can finally defeat the three Egyptian gods perfectly, and he also has the three magnet warriors left on his field.

Of course, no one believes that the three Egyptian gods were defeated easily in a turn. Sugoroku and Bakura are dancing with joy to Yugi's great play. Yugi talks to Atem that he has learned many things when he fought together with Atem. The biggest weak point of the strongest power is its own great power. In other words, power of gods can destroy themselves. Watching Atem dueled inside his mind, Yugi thought of the method to defeat the gods for a long time. Atem accepts instinct of Yugi confronting himself bravely. This is a proof of Yugi's qualification of a true duelist. Anyway, Atem hasn't shown his entire power yet, neither had Yugi. Yugi (LP2400) is also willing to play fully in the next turns.

Time is back to Atem (LP4000). Drawing a card, Atem plays a magic card, Polymerization (Yuukou), from his hand. He fuses Baffomet and Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast (Genjyuuou Gazelle ) to summon Winged Phantom Beast Chimera (Yuukoku Kenjyuu Chimera 6/2100/1800) onto the field. People are amazed again. Although Atem already lost his three Egyptian gods, he can still summon a great monster. Atem declares the attack of Winged Phantom Beast Chimera against Alpha Magnet Warrior. Because Alpha Magnet Warrior is in a defense mode, Yugi doesn't lose his LP. Then Atem ends his turn. Mokuba is impressed by Atem's great performance. Even Atem doesn't have the three gods, his dominance hasn't changed. Nevertheless, Kaiba is impressed by Yugi's play. Despite of his advantage of LP, Yugi could still find the way to defeat the three gods. At this moment, Kaiba trusts Yugi's answer in the game. Hearing that, Yugi is very glad while Jyonouchi is getting shocked. Jyonouchi hasn't imagined that Kaiba is cheering Yugi.

Come to Yugi's time. Drawing a card, Yugi sacrifices Beta and Gamma Magnet Warriors to summon Buster Blader (7/2600/2300) in an attack position. He declares its attack against Winged Phantom Beast Chimera (2100) at once. As a result, Atem's LP goes down to 3500 (4000+2100-2600). He later activates special ability of Winged Phantom Beast Chimera. When it is sent into the graveyard, Yugi can summon specially either Baffomet or King of Beast Gazelle onto the field. Accordingly, Atem chooses to resurrect with 1800 defense points in a defense mode. People are impressed by Atem's play again. Although his monsters were destroyed, he could still remain a monster on his field. Anyway, Jyonouchi is still worried about the situation. After the three gods were destroyed, Atem may not obtain any monster that can beat Buster Blader. After that, Yugi ends his turn.

Return to Atem's turn. He draws a card, sacrificing Baffomet to summon Gifar Demon (6/2200/2500) in a defense position. Setting a reversed card, Atem ends his turn. Come to Yugi's turn. This is a good chance for him to perform the attack. He draws a card and sets up a reversed card. Then he declares the attack of Buster Blader against Gifar Demon. When Gifar Demon is destroyed, its special ability is activated. Once sent into the graveyard, it can decrease the attack points of the a monster on the opponent field by 500 points. Thus, Buster Blader's attack points go down to 2100 (2600-500). After that Yugi ends his time.

Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight Monster Card

Atem's time, he sets another reversed card, and plays a magic card, Wakening from the Floor of Death (Shi No Toko Kara No Mesame). By its effect, Atem can allow Yugi to draw additional two cards while he can return a monster from his cemetery into his hand. At this moment, Yugi is considering carefully what card Atem picked up from the graveyard. Except for three gods, there may be The Tricky that obtains the highest power (2000). However, in order to summon The Tricky specially onto the field, Atem has to discard a card into his cemetery. Atem now has one card on his hand that is a card picked up from the graveyard due to the effect of Wakening from the Floor of Death. That means Atem hasn't enough card to pay for that cost. Even though Atem may summon other monsters with fewer attack points than 2000, Yugi's Buster Blader (2100) has been ready for it. Then Atem asks Yugi about his assumption of his card. He claims that his duel is 1-2 steps ahead of that of Yugi. In other words, Atem claims that Yugi can not read or predict his play. Suddenly, Yugi puts his last card into his duel disk to summon it, Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (Swift Ankoku Kishi Gaia 7/2300/2100). If this card is the last card on hand, it can be specially summoned onto the field without sacrification. Of course, Yugi is very amazed by when Atem discarded Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight into the graveyard. Thus, Atem reminded Yugi of the only one chance that he could sent Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight into the graveyardl; that was the first turn of Atem at the beginning of the game (go back to see in epsiode 221). He discarded Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight into the cemetery to summon The Tricky onto his field. Yugi is getting shocked again when Atem claims that he has already predicted this duel circumstance. Because Atem is Pharaoh, he can use powerful cards of the three Egyptian gods. That may be his preponderant advantage. Anyway, he had predicted before that Yugi could finally beat his three gods. For the true duelists, that kind of power seems unfair. The real duel has started since the three Egyptian gods were destroyed; the real play consists of miracle draw supported by courage. After that, Atem declares the attack of Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300) against Buster Blader (2100) at once. While Yugi is getting in trouble again, Isis hopes that he will be fine. She believes that a person who can return Pharaoh to his world and his friends is only Yugi.

Rope of Soul Trap Card

Yugi's Buster Blader is destroyed by Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight, so his LP goes down to 2200 (2400+2100-2300). At this moment, Yugi opens his reversed trap card, Rope of Soul (Tamashi No Tsuna). This card can be played only if his monster is sent into the graveyard. It allows him to pay 1000 LP in exchange of summon of a monster with level up to 4 from his deck onto the field. Thus, Yugi selects to summon Witch of Black Forest (Kuroki Mori No Witch 4/1100/1200) from his deck in a defense position. His LP goes down to 1200 (2200-1000). Then Atem ends his turn.

Next time comes to Yugi. People are thinking that Atem seems to prevail this time by his great monster with 2300 attack points. Anyway, Sugoroku lets people notice why Yugi paid his 1000 LP to summon the monster. Jyonouchi has just realized that Yugi is planning for sacrification to summon a greater monster. Sugoroku is certain that Yugi hasn't given up yet. As Jyonouchi thinks, Yugi sacrifices Witch of Black Forest to summon Demon (Summon Skull) with 2500 attack points. Besides, Yugi activates a special effect of Witch of Black Forest. When sent into the graveyard, Yugi can move 1 monster with defense points of 1500 or less from his deck to his hand. Thus, Yugi chooses to pick up Marsh Melon. People realize that both Yugi's and Atem's monsters are what they have created and played together in many matches. Suddenly, Yugi declares the attack of Demon (2500) against Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300), so Atem's LP goes down to 3300 (3500+2300-2500). After that Yugi ends his turn

Atem accepts real strenght of Yugi. Basically, he has never had fear in any duel. Yugi who has been behind Atem's back and supported Atem is now growing up and getting stronger in the duel. There is no doubt for Atem that Mutou Yugi is the strongest rival in his life. One way to defeat Yugi is that Atem has to believe in himself and his deck. If Yugi could create the miracle, Atem believes that he can do so. Come to Atem's move. He declares the summon of Big Shield Guardner with 2600 defense points in a defense position before he draws it. People are getting amazed how Atem could predict his drawn cards. Isis explains that Pharaoh is now drawing his cards by his own belief and will. His imagination is judging his destiny in the duel. After that, Atem ends his time.

[ Atem ]	(You did it as I wished, partner! The reversed card that was immediately played... Usually, I have never had fear in duel. But you who has looked at me from my back and who has supported me....you are now confronting me in front of my eyes. Taking the ordeal with me, you are still growing. You are the strongest rival in my life, Mutou Yugi. There is only one way to defeat you. I have to believe in myself and my own deck.) My time! If you could make a miracle, I could make it, too. Summon Big Shield Guardner! Draw! Summon Big Shield Guardner in a defense position.
[ Jyonouchi ]	Ah! What does it mean?
[ Honda ]	Atem had predicted the monster before drawing, hadn't he?
[ Bakura ]	He seemed to know the drawn card.
[ Malik ]	No, he didn't know the drawn card. Pharaoh is drawing cards from his own image.
[ Anzu]	Cards from his own image?
[ Jyonouchi ]	Is that kind of thing possible? That means he knows order of cards when he set it, doesn't it?

Return to Yugi's move. He plays a magic card, Pot of Greed (Kou Yuku Na Tsubo), to draw additional two cards. Then he specially summon Watapon onto the field. Because Watapon was added into Yugi's hand by the effect of Pot of Greed, it can be summon specially. This is not a normal summon. Continously, Yugi sacrifices Watapon to summon Curse of Dragon (5/2000/1500) in an attack mode; this is considered the normal summon. Suddenly, Yugi declares the attack of Demon (2500) against Big Shield Guardner (2600). Thus, his LP goes down to 1100 (1200+2500-2600). This is what Yugi has planned before. When first attacked, Big Shield Guardner is turned into an attack position with 100 attack points. Yugi keeps on the attack of Curse of Dragon (2000) against Big Shield Guardner (100). When Big Shield Guardner is destroyed, Atem's LP significantly decreases to 1400 (3300+100-2000). Bakura is glad to see that Yugi's and Atem's LP are almost equal. People are gonna see victory of Yugi soon. However, Anzu can't stand watching the duel, turning back. Certainly, she doesn't want Atem to leave people and would like him to stay with friends forever. Jyonouchi has to explain and let her understand the situation. Both Yugi and Atem are now playing by spirits of duelists. After fighting against many duelists, their spirits are combined in their decks. They haven't been concerned about returning to the world of death at all. Although the duel seems tough and regrettable, everybody should watch it until the end. This is what friendship is for. Listening to Jyonouchi, Anzu understands and turns back to see the duel again.

[ Bakura ]	This time, Atem's and Yugi's LP are almost equal.
[ Otogi ]	Yugi also has two monsters on the field.
[ Honda ]	We are going to see victory of Yugi.
[ Jyonouchi ]	What's wrong, Anzu?
[ Anzu]	I don't want to see anymore. Of course, I don't want Atem to leave. I would like him to stay with us together. So...why!?
[ Jyonouchi ]	Anzu, the duel of both of them isn't individual will. It is spirits of duelists attached inside their decks.
[ Anzu]	Spirits of duelists?
[ Jyonouchi ]	Both of them have fought against many duelists until now. I, Kaiba, Malik, Bakura, Mai, Haga, Kajiki, Pegasus...spirits of all those duelists are combined together in their decks. Thus, the duelist must fight.
[ Anzu]	Jyonouchi
[ Jyonouchi ]	Of course, both of them now have no idea about returning to the world of death in their heads. No one can stop this duel. They are carrying on fighting by mean of duelist spirits even if there is some kind of destiny waiting for them. Although it is regrettable, we can do nothing. Thus, watching over that harshness is our friendship, isn't it?
[ Anzu]	Um...
[ Atem ]	(I feel it. I can feel it...beating of spirits sleeping in my deck.) You have waited, haven't you, Mahado!? I am coming, partner! My time! Draw!

Come to Atem's turn. He can feel beating of spirits inside his decks. He understands that his strongest servant, Mahado, has been waiting for him. Drawing a card, Atem plays a magic card, Curtain of Black Magic (Kuromajyutsu No Curtain). Paying a half of LP, Atem can summon Black Magician with 2500 attack points specially from his deck onto the field. Thus, Atem's LP goes down to 700 (1400/2). Then he opens one of his reversed card, Magic Book (Kijutsu No Sho), that can increases the attack points to Black Magician by 300 points. As a result, Black Magician has total attack points of 2800 (2500+300). Atem lets Black Magician attack Demon at once, so Yugi's LP goest down to 800 (1100+2500-2800). Seeing Black Magician, Atem calls him Mahado. Mahado's spirit inside Black Magician finally returns to Pharaoh. At the same time, Isis feels painful in her mind as if she has faced this feeling before a long time ago. Atem tells Yugi that Black Magician is his strongest servant. If Yugi can't defeat it, he can't reach the victory. Certainly, Yugi is confident that he can finally defeat Black Magician...

[ Atem ]	Mahado!
[ Mahado, Black Magician]	Pharaoh-Yo! Over 3,000 years, my spirit has returned to you.
[ Isis ]	Ah!!!
[ Malik ]	What's wrong, sister?
[ Isis ]	Ahh, no...nothing. (Black Magician, what is this kind of plainful feeling having a long time ago?)
[ Yugi ]	You have finally come out, Black Magician.
[ Atem ]	Partner, here is my last trump, my strongest servant, Black Magician! If you can't defeat Black Magician, you can not get victory.
