Diabound
of the theif Bakura and Obelisk of Pharaoh Yugi strike violently against
each other. Both of them are hit back and then disappear into
Dia Diank (Duel Disk) of their owners. The priests is wondered by strength
of Diabound which can withstand power of god. Anyway, the theif Bakura
gets some injury, thinking that he might come here too fast to fight
against god. Without power of Kaiba (Burn Stream), he might not have
been able to be against god. So,
he decides to return this time and declares that he will come back
to take all millennium items later. After that, he gets
on his horse, riding it towards the exit. The priest Akunadin orders
to capture him immediately while Pharaoh Yugi moves out at the terrace
of the royal palace to follow him. However, whatever he sees is the
city in fire and the thief Bakura with his followers riding horses
away from
the town. Meanwhile, when he turns his face up, he sees a thing with
the top part of pyramid in an up-side-down position (a millennium puzzle)
on the sky. Thus, he asks Shimon and Mahado what it means. Yet, it
seems that nobody but Pharaoh Yugi sees that thing, so he thinks that
this
may be a part of a shadow game. Then the priest Seto walks out and
reminds himself of tremendous power of god. He reports to Pharaoh that
everyting
has already been safe. Turning his face to see the priest Seto, Pharaoh
Yugi is amazed why Diabound of the theif Bakura could use power of
Blue Eyes White Dragon, Burn Stream.
Note:
In
Japanese, there are levels of language when a person talks
to another person with lower or higher level than him,
and even with equal level. It
seems that Kaiba now is using the polite level in Japanese
when he talks to Pharaoh
Yugi
or the language when an employee talks with his boss. This
sounds a bit strange because Kaiba in the ordinary world
is such a high management guy with CEO position who has
never used this type of language when he talked to anyone ^^.
|
Back
to the present world, Kaiba working in his office is looking at a millennium
eye and some connection between him and Blue Eyes according to what
Bakura told him. Then he picks up the millennium eye up and thinks
about the Blue Eyes'voice that he heard before from it. When put closer
to his eye, the millennium eye starts glowing and showing Kaiba the
scene in the memory world, which he as the priest Seto is talking with
Pharaoh Yugi at the terrace. Kaiba is very shocked by that, dropping
the millennium eye. Then he decides to fly alone to Egypt and seems
to accept what his destiny is determined.
In
the memory world at a Ouiju shrine, the priest Seto and the priest
Akunadin are discussing about the thief Bakura's topic. Seto suggests
his idea about looking for additional Ka from criminals remaining in
the city. He would like to test to develop those Ka into powerful
weapon by exercising people' souls. According to Bakura's Diabound,
it is apparent that strong power of it came from hatred of the owner.
Only the priest Akunadin understands well where the theif Bakura's
hatred came from. Anyway, he didn't tell further to the priest Seto.

The Priest Akunadin ] |
Haven't
we known yet where Bakura is hiding? |
[The
Priest Seto] |
No,
sir, but we already disposed the troop to widely look for him
in many areas - city behind the castle, desert and even valley.
It is impossible to for him to get through this surrounding.
|
[
The Priest Akunadin ] |
Um...Anyway,
Bakura's Diabound has such awful power. If Pharaoh hadn't summoned
god, only power of the priest might not been able to be against
it. |
[The
Priest Seto] |
(God..)
I have some idea, Akunadin-Sama. Among our civilians,
there may be latent Ka kept inside their bodys. If we catch them
by our own hands, we may be able to develop their Ka into
powerful weapon by exercising the vessels'souls.
|
[
The Priest Akunadin ] |
Baka!
(What! That is bad...!) It is impossible that there is probably
some Ka that obtains higher power than that of the prists, which
has
been
trained. |
[The
Priest Seto] |
But
if we consider fearful power of Bakura's Diabound carefully,
we can assume that it came from hatred of that guy.
|
[ The Priest Akunadin reminds himself of what the thief Bakura talked about
Kuruelna Village ]
|
[
The Priest Akunadin ] |
(That
guy knows about Kuruelna village. If he was really a survivor from
that village, his hatred should be so extreme.) In
order to create Ka with hatred, fear is a factor. |
[The
Priest Seto] |
Akunadin-Sama,
the theif or the criminal matches Diabound. Well! so Ka of a
person can obtain power exceeding god if it is covered and increased
by hatred
|
[
The Priest Akunadin ] |
In
order to create Ka with hatred, fear is a factor. |
[The
Priest Seto] |
Everything
is for Pharoah and to decrease number of criminals. We can get
two birds by one shot.

Seto... |
[The
Priest Seto] |
We
can't avoid dying our hands with blood for prosperity of royal
palace. My dad who sacrificed his life in the battefield ever
said this.

On
the other side, the priest Isis is trying to see the future from her
millennium tauk while the priest Karim and Shada are waiting for the
result. Anyway, she can't see anything. The priest Karim and Shada
tell her not to push herself too much. In order to fight against the
theif Bakura, power of the owner's Ba (Power inside a person's mind
which controls Ka) is very important. Isis thanks for her friends'
feeling but she can't have a rest until she can find the next target
of the theif Bakura. No matter want, she has to continue for Pharaoh
and everybody.
At
the same time, Pharaoh Yugi still stands at the terrace at night, looking
up into the sky. Then he takes out the cartouche which Anzu gave him
before, and thinks about little Yugi and the others. In the maze inside
Yami Yugi's mind, little Yugi, Jyonouchi, Anzu, Honda and Shadi have
been searhing for the real door. Jyonouchi points to a door and tells
his friends that he feels someting from that door. Honda would like
to trust Jyonouchi's instinct, so both of them run towards the door
and open it. Suddenly, Honda and Jyonouchi almost fall down because
there is nothing behind the door. Anzu and little Yugi have to help
them up. While everybody is still walking and searching, Anzu says
that the only who may know the real door may be little Yugi because
he is mostly close to Yami Yugi. Thus, she asks him whether little
Yugi feels something. Even little Yugi doesn't understand this feeling.
He only feels loneliness of Yami Yugi around here. It seems that Yami
Yugi's heart is closed, so little Yugi has no idea how to figure out
the real door, either.
At
the terrace of the royal palace, Pharaoh Yugi still stands there and
keeps thinking. Everybody here knows his him but he can remember nobody.
While he is confused by his actual appearance of Pharoah, the priest
Mahado comes in to greet him because he is wondered by that Pharaoh
is standing alone at night in this kind of place. When both of them
are walking back downstair, Mahado heard some voice from an earthen
jar. Suddenly, a girl jumps out and hugs Pharaoh. While Pharaoh Yugi
is wondering who this girl is, Mahado holds her up and asks what she
(Mana - Black Magician
Girl),
is doing here. Mana is just curious what her master (Mahado) is talking
to her
prince
about the past. Hearing that, Pharaoh
Yugi looks glad and asks whether Mana knows his background. Mana is
amazed
by
this
question,
claiming
that she, her master and Prince have been together for a long time.
Her prince looks wired today that he seems not to know this thing. Anyway,
Mahado repeats his question why Mana is coming here. Then Mana shows
her work that she
did
to the
soldiers.
Mahado
is shocked
by Maha's
spell play that has stopped movement of the soldiers in the royal palace,
so he ordered her to release the spell at once. However, Maha can't
remember the removal spell, thus she has to open her magic book (Magic
card - Magic Book - of Black Magician Girl) to find what it is. Looking
what Mahado and Mana are having fun, Pharaoh Yugi also feels happy.
He remembers that at least he has both of them as his friends. Meanwhile
outside the kingdom, the thief Bakura is planning to take all seven
millennium items by focusing
on his first target, the millennium ring.
Note: There
is some difference between Prince and Pharaoh here. Usually,
Mana and Mahado call Pharaoh Yugi "Ouji-Sama" which means
the Prince. Ouji refers a young prince who hasn't become the
real
king
yet. You usually hear this word from some anime like "Tennis
No Ouji-Sama" or "Then Prince of Tennis". Anyway, because Yugi
has just become the new king, Mahado can no longer let Mana
call him Prince. However, he sometime accidently calls Yugi
"Prince" not "Pharaoh" because he has got familiar with "Prince"
word too.

At
the following day, the priest Mahado with the troop are checking damage
around the city attacked by the theif Bakura last night. He
doesn't
understand why Bakura did this. Then his millennium ring is activing,
pointing to the top of a valley. Mahado sees a guy riding a horse away.
He is certain that the guy must be Bakura. No matter what, Mahado expresses
his confidence that he won't let Bakura harm anybody else. Inside the
palace, Maha and Pharaoh Yugi are walking in the courtyard. Maha is
complaining that she gets bored a lot because her master is away and
nobody can give her spell practice. Thus, Pharaoh Yugi explains that
Mahado is the priest with busy work. Then Mana accidently calls his
name Prince (Ouji) again not "Pharaoh". When Pharaoh Yugi reminds
her of that word, Mana says sorry and recalls his name "Pharaoh". In
fact,
Pharaoh Yugi merely wants to kid her. Then he asks whether Mana knows
his actual name. It appears that even Mana hasn't known Pharaoh's real
name. All the time, she has called him Prince-Sama.
At
the other side of the royal palace, the priest Isis is walking through
the priest Mahado. Both of them ask each other whether one feels the
theif Bakura from the millennium items. It seems that the priest Isis
really saw nothing from her millennium tauk, but the priest Mahado
didn't tell the truth that he felt the theif Bakura when he went into
the city. Then the priest Mahado walks pass while the priest Isis feels
something strange from him. Going back to her room, the priest Isis
tries to see the future from her millennium tauk again. This time,
she sees darkness, the battle scene between Diabound and a magician,
the priest Mahado and a blade that is cutting something. Isis understands
at once what this means and what is going to happen to Mahado.
In
the main hall, the priest Mahado is reporting himself to perform his
responsibility, taking Pharaoh Akunumkanon's remain back to the tomb.
Pharaoh Yugi asks him to take care of his father's casket well. While
the priest Mahada is preparing himself to go, Mana is complaining and
trying to go with her master. So shimon has to stop her to follow.
Anyway, Mana insists that she will go to help her teacher fight. Shimon
tells Mana not to be worried because the priest Mahado is, in fact,
the greatest spellcaster in the world. No one can beat him if his sealed
power is entirely released. Hearing that, Mana seems to understand
not to follow her master again.
When Mahado is leaving the palace, he sees the priest Isis come out.
The priest Isis is certain that the priest Mahado won't change his
decision to this mission. The priest Mahado understands at once that
the priest Isis must have already seen his future. While the priest
Isis is going to say something, the priest Mahado asks her do
him a favor to take care of Pharaoh. Then he leaves by saying nothing
else. The priest Isis realizes that she can't stop the priest Mahado,
thus she merely tells him that the victory will come to him. Mahado
with some troop pulling a seal stone is walking through the city, reminding
of his past with Pharaoh. Once upon a time, young Pharaoh Yugi were
taking a fruit from a tree for Mana in the royal garden. While Mahado
was coming to join, he saw a snake attacking Pharaoh Yugi. Then he
jumped in and pushed Pharaoh Yugi out off the way, so the snake
bit
him instead. After that Pharaoh Yugi first aided him without concern
of his title as prince or future Pharaoh. He told Mahado that he would
like to create the world without discrimination of level or status.
The priest Mahado understands that this thought may be only an ideal at this
time. Nevertheless, in
order to let Pharaoh Yugi make it come true in the future, he intends
to protect his Pharaoh, no matter what. While the priest Mahado with
the troops are walking through a cliff, he realizes that there is a
servant of Bakura following his way along the top of the cliff. So
he prepares himself ready and waits for the theif Bakura alone inside
the tomb. At night, the thief Bakura with his followers are going into
the entrance of the tomb. Yet, when the thief Bakura moves in, the
troops of Mahado drop a lot of rock from the top to close the entrance
and to stop the theif Bakura's followers not to get in. As a result,
the thief Bakura has to moves inside the tomb alone and finally meets
the priest Mahado waiting for him there...
