มิโฮะได้รับของขวัญชิ้นใหญ่ปริศนา ทุกคนต่างงเมื่อมิโฮะเปิดดูในห้องเรียนแล้วพอว่าเป็นแคบซูล Monster ที่เรียกว่า Capmon ยูกิเล่าให้ฟังว่าตอนนี้ Capmon กำลังฮิตมากในหมู่เด็กนักเรียนซึ่งตนก็กำลังเล่นอยู่เหมือนกัน จะเล่นกันบนตารางหมากรุกสู้กันจนกว่าฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งจะเสีย Monster ในแคบซูลไปจนหมด อันซุสงสัยว่าใครส่งของแบบนี้มาให้มิโฮะ มิโฮะบอกว่าตอนนี้ตนกำลังติดต่อกับเด็กมหาวิทยาลัยคนนึงอยู่ทำให้ฮอนดะถึงกับช็อคไปเลยทีเดียว เลิกเรียนยูกิก็หายหน้าไปจากห้องเรียนเร็วกว่าเพื่อนไปที่หน้าร้านที่มีเครื่องขายแคบซูล Monster แล้วก็เจอเพื่อนตนชื่อมุราชิเบะกำลังนั่งไขเลือกแคบซูล Monster อยู่ มุราชิเบะเล่าให้ฟังเรื่องที่ตนชอบมิโฮะและเป็นคนส่งของขวัญให้มิโฮะเองด้วยความที่อยากจะหาแคบซูล Monster เด็ด ๆ ที่มิโฮะชอบมาให้ได้ ยูกิรู้สึกเป็นห่วงเพราะมุราชิเบะดูทุ่มเทเกินเหตุ เย็นวันนั้นมิโฮะก็มาหายูกิที่บ้านของซื้อแคบซูล Monster ที่บ้านยูกิตัวนึงทั้ง ๆ ที่ตนก็ไม่ได้ชอบเกมส์นักแล้วก็ยังสงสัยว่าแคบซูล Monster มันสนุกตรงไหนด้วยแล้วมิโฮะก็เดินจากไป เช้าวันต่อมามุราชิเบะก็มาหายูกิที่บ้านและพายูกิไปที่โกดังร้างบอกว่าเป็นฐานลับของตน เมื่อยูกิเห็นของในโกดังร้างก็ตกใจเพราะมีแคบซูล Monster ระดับ 4-5 วางอยู่เต็มไปหมด มุราชิเบะส่งจดหมายที่มิโฮะเขียนตอบตนให้ยูกิดู บอกขอบคุณที่ส่งแคบซูล Monster มาให้ มิโฮะชอบและสนใจมาก ตอนนี้ก็กำลังศึกษาวิธีการเล่นอยู่ แล้วยูกิก็งงเมื่อเห็นแคบซูล Monster ที่มิโฮะไปซื้อที่ร้านของตนเมื่อวานอยู่ในจดหมายของมุราชิเบะด้วย ตอนนี้มุราชิเบะจึงคิดว่ามิโฮะเป็นเทพีแห่งแคบซูล Monster ของตนไปซะแล้ว มุราชิเบะขอให้ยูกิช่วยเหลือในแผนการของตน แต่ยูกิปฏิเสธบอกว่าน่าจะทำให้มันธรรมดาหน่อยแล้วก็พยายามจะหนีเพื่อจะไปโรงเรียน แต่มุราชิเบะก็เอาลูกกรงลงมาปิดประตูทางเข้าไว้ไม่ให้ยูกิไปแล้วก็นอนดิ้นร้องไห้จะเป็นจะตายบอกว่าเพื่อนก็ต้องช่วยเพื่อนซิ ทำให้ยูกิใจอ่อนยอมทำตามแผนเขาจนได้ เย็นวันนั้นขณะที่มิโฮะกำลังเดินกลับบ้านยูกิก็ปลอมเป็นคนร้ายจะมาทำร้ายมิโฮะแต่มิโฮะดูออกว่าเป็นยูกิ เลยถามว่ายูกิกำลังทำอะไรอยู่ มุราชิเบะก็โผล่มาทำท่าจะช่วยและจะพามิโฮะไป แต่มิโฮะก็ดิ้นร้องแล้วก็เอากระเป๋าทุบมุราชิเบะใหญ่บอกว่าตนไม่รู้จักแคบซูล Monster อะไรทั้งนั้นแล้วก็วิ่งหนีไป ยูกิจึงคิดว่ามุราชิเบะน่าจะตัดใจได้ซะที วันต่อมาที่โรงเรียนพวกยูกิ โจวโนะอุจิ อันซุแล้วก็ฮอนดะก็นินทามุราชิเบะกันยกใหญ่ ยูกิขอโทษมิโฮะเรื่องที่ตนทำลงไป มุราชิเบะได้ยินเรื่องที่ทุกคนคุยกันจึงแอบเอาน้ำไปให้โจวโนะอุจิ อันซุและฮอนดะกิน ปรากฏว่าตอนบ่ายทั้ง 3 คนปวดท้องมากจนต้องไปนอนห้องพยาบาล ยูกิกับมิโฮะก็เป็นห่วงเพราะไม่รู้ว่าทั้ง 3 คนเป็นอะไร ตอนเย็นมิโฮะได้รับจดหมายจากมุราชิเบะก็รู้เลยว่ามุราชิเบะเป็นตัวการของเรื่องนี้จึงของให้ยูกิพาไปหามุราชิเบะทีเพราะตนโกรธจัดแล้ว ทั้ง 2 คนไปที่โกดังร้างยูกิเองก็นึกไม่ถึงว่ามุราชิเบะจะทำร้ายเพื่อนของตนอีก 3 คนที่ไม่เกี่ยวข้องด้วยแบบนี้ มุราชิเบะจึงท้ามิโฮะเล่นเกมส์แคบซูล Monster บอกว่าถ้าตนแพ้จะไม่ยุ่งกับมิโฮะอีก มิโฮะรับคำท้า ทั้ง 2 เริ่มไขแคบซูล Monster ออกมาจากกล่อง แคบซูล Monster ของมิโฮะมีแต่ระดับ 1-2 ทั้งนั้นในขณะที่ของมุราชิเบะมีแต่ระดับ 4-5 มิโฮะสู้มุราชิเบะไม่ได้เลย ยูกิสังเกตเห็นกลไกในกล่องก็รู้ว่ามุราชิเบะทำอะไรกับกล่องไว้ทำให้มิโฮะไขได้ Monster ระดับล่าง พอมิโฮะรู้ว่าถูกโกงก็บอกให้ยูกิกลับกันและจะไม่สนใจอีกแล้ว มุราชิเบะก็เอาลูกกรงลงมาขวางทางออกไว้แต่คราวนี้คานข้างบนกลับตกมาด้วย ยูกิอีกคนนึงจึงปรากฏร่างออกมาบอกว่ามุราชิเบะเล่นหนักเกินไปแล้วและจะขอท้าแข่งด้วยขณะที่มิโฮะสลบไป เกมส์แห่งความมืดได้เริ่มต้นขึ้นแล้ว แคบซูล Monster ของยูกิก็ยังคงมีระดับต่ำอยู่เหมือนเดิมแต่ยูกิก็สามารถวางกลยุทธ์เอาชนะมุราชิเบะได้อย่างสวยงาม มุราชิเบะจึงโดนเกมส์ลงทัฑณ์ให้อยู่ในแคบซูล Monster ต่อไป วันต่อมาทุกคนก็อาการดีขึ้น มิโฮะก็วิ่งมาหน้าตื่นบอกว่าตอนนี้ตนเริ่มหัดเล่นแคยซูล Monster อย่างเอาจริงเอาจังแล้ว...

The openning of a rumoured capmon

At school, Miho is showing her friends a big present she has just got this morning. It is a gift from a university student whom she is corresponding with. When she opens the present, she finds a slot machine with full of white eggs. Yugi says that this is monster capsule called capmon. It is such a popular among primary students now. There are monsters inside the capsules with various types and levels. A player places and plays them on capsule monster board. Yugi is also playing this game, too. Miho seems to like this game very much. Not only monsters but also a lot of beautiful ornaments are inside the capsules. Honda warns Miho about the university guy whom she is contacting with. However, Miho seems not worry about anything. She carries a bag of monster capsules and goes home without listening to Honda. Jyoonouchi says that Miho sees the monster capsules more valuable. Anzu notices that Yugi is going home today very early.

After school, Yugi goes to a store in downtown. There is long queue that many children are waiting for getting monster capsules from the slot machine. Yugi notices his friend, Murashibe, at the top line. Murashiba takes Yugi to a park and tells him about his feeling to Miho. One day, Murashibe saw Miho's image from the window in the town. Her smile much attacted him. He saw Miho like an angle of capmon that he would like to keep her in his collection. After that he has been following her and sending her letters. Miho has never seen his face even known him. Yugi much worries about strong feeling of Murashibe.

At Yugi's game shop, Miho visits Yugi's store today. She asks for a monster capsule. Yugi gives her one. Miho opens it and thinks that it isn't such an interesting stuff. Sugoroku explains that fun of this game is when people play capmons on board. He invites Miho to try playing while he is taking out a board of this game. Miho refuses politely and goes home because in fact she isn't interested in it. Next day, Murashibe comes to Yugi's store. He asks Yugi follow him. Then he takes Yugi to his secrect base at a warehouse. Yugi is very amazed when he sees a lot of Capmon kept there. Murashibe tells Yugi that his dream is coming true. Then he gives a letter from Miho to Yugi. Miho wrote to thank Murashibe for giving her Capmons. She really loved it. Yugi feels very worried about Miho's message. Also, he sees a capmon that Miho bought from his store yesterday. Miho bought it for Murashibe. Yugi thinks that Miho shouldn't have done this to misunderstand Murashibe. Anyway, Murashibe seems to be very happy. He asks Yugi for help because it is time to express himself in front of Miho. He would like to express as a hero for first impression. As a result, he tells Yugi about his plan. Hearing the plan, Yugi refuses to cooporate. He thinks that it should be better way. Then Yugi is running away. However, he has to stop when Murashibe closes the gate. Yugi is unpleasure with his done. He won't help Murashibe anymore if Murashibe still acts like this. Anyway, Murashibe is rolling himself on the floor, crying and claiming friendship with Yugi that friend should help friend. Yugi has no choice. Though he thinks that he shouldn't have made friend with this guy, he has to accept his request.

After school, Yugi pretends to be a bay guy in a red mask and expresses himself in front of Miho. However, Miho knows that he is Yugi and she asks what he is doing. Suddenly, Murashibe appears and attacks Yugi to save Miho. Murashibe introduces himself. Miho feels very disappointed about this guy. Her image about Murashibe is different. Murashibe tries to invite Miho to his secret base. Anyway, Miho is frightenned. She hits Murashibe by her bag very heavily and refuses anything about capmon that Murashibe is saying. Finally, Miho is running away, leaving Murashibe crying there. Yugi also feels sad with him. However, he thinks that this may be good for Murashibe and everything may be over.

Murashibe's heart is much getting hurt. He won't let this pass easily. Next day, everbody is talking about Miho and her guy at food center. No one has realized that Murashibe is listening there. Murashibe hears Anzu, Jyoonouchi and Honda gossiping about himself. As a result, he walks into them and gives them glasses of water. During the afternoon, Anzu, Honda and Jyoonouchi feel very painful. All of them have to stay in a medical room. The nurse says that they drank some posion. Anyway, she hasn't seen any student having the same symptom like this. Yugi much worries about Anzu.

After school, Miho gets a letter from Murashibe that lets her know that he is the cause of her friends'sickness. Miho asks Yugi lead her to see Murashibe. She is much getting angry now. Yugi takes Miho to see Murashibe at the warehouse. Both of them blame Murashibe's act to their friends. Anyway, Murashibe challenges Miho a capmon game. If she can beat him, he won't come closer to her again. However, if she loses, she has to follow his direction. Miho agrees. Murashibe shows the board of this game and lets Miho first get capmons from the slot machine. Both of them alternatie to get the capmon. Finally, it is apparent that Murashibe's capmons are much higher level than Miho's.

Game starts. Miho seems not to know how to play. Yugi thinks that her move isn't good. She loses her creature very easily. Then Yugi accidently crashes the slot macine and falls it. The slot machine is broken. Yugi sees some trick set up in the slot machine. He blames Murashibe's cheating to get higher level capmons. Miho sees that this isn't fair. She gives up the game and urges Yugi to run away from here. Anyway, Murashibe closes the gate again. The lever is falling on Yugi and Miho. Luckily, both of them are safe. Yugi is getting angry to Murashibe's overdone while Miho is unconscious. Yugi challenges Murashibe to continue the game. He is going to take Miho's place. Yugi goes on moving his creatures while Murashibe destoys all of them easily because of different level. Murashibe hasn't realized that this is Yugi's plan. Yugi lets all monsters of Murashibe to line straight on the board and activates special ability of his Torigan which can destroy any monsters at straight line. Finally, Torigan destroys all Murashibe's monsters at one turn. Yugi is the winner. Murashibe cries and seems not to admit the result. He is claming that Miho is his. So, Yugi gives a game punishment to him. The dark gate has already been openned. Murashibe is captured in a capsule monster with a nightmare. Next day, Miho is greeting everbody as usual in the morning. She slips and falls down. Her friends see a lot capmons out from her schoolbag. She seems not to be aware of what ever happenned to her...
