[ Epsiode 2 ] An evil game player! The dangerous trap

Yugi is having breakfast with his grandpa. Grandpa really wonders when he sees a completely solved millennium puzzle. He asks Yugi whether there was anything strange thing happenning to him. Usually, a person who can solve a millennium puzzle gets a shadow power. Anyway, Yugi seems to be as usual. He tells grandpa that there was a thing that changed. It is that he has already had a true friend.

At a local prison at night, an inmate is escaping from the jail. While the sirens ring out everywhere, the policemen is looking for the inmate without perception that the inmate disguises as a police and escapes by a police car.

After school, Jyoonouchi is glad that the class has finally been over. Yugi comes up an idea to go to a new restaurant called Burger World. At the same time, Honda is coming in and asking where they are going to. At first, Honda disagrees to go. However, when he hears that Miho would love to join, he quickly changes his mind to go with everybody. Suddenly, Anzu interrupts the conversation and suggests not go. There is some news expressing that that Burger World is really terrible. Many customers usually get sick , become insane and finally fastly go home after having hamburger there. Everybody seems to be surprise to Anzu's over acting to stop him and her not to go to Burger World. Then Anzu leaves the class alone. Jyoonouchi asks Yugi about Anzu's stange behavior. She currently hurries to go home. Perhaps, she is going to work for a escort service, dating for old man for money, after school. Of course, Yugi totally disagrees. While everybody is discussing about Anzu's special work on dating, Miho can't stand listenning anymore. Anzu is her friend. If some bad thing happens to her, Miho must go to help. As a result, Miho secretly follows Anzu after school.

Escaping from the jail, the criminal is eating a burger at a restaurant. At night, he breaks into a safe, however, he finds nothing inside. He is very upset to what is going on. Later, while he is having noodle at a restaurant, he hears the news talking that there was a bandith stealing money from the safe last night. The criminal is very surprise and gets angry. He didn't steal anything yesterday and he had no idea who had done. Also, the polices believe that the escaping criminal did this job.

Next day after school, while Miho is going to join Yugi and Jyoonouchi, Anzu reminds her about something that she has to do. So, Miho says sorry to both of them and follows Anzu. After the girls leave the room, Jyoonouchi is talking about their strange behavior again. He said that he saw Anzu's such a great lunch that he himself had never had. It meant she had money. Thus, she must be doing some dating for money and so must Miho. Honda can't stand listenning. He tells Jyoonouchi to stop talking. Honda is getting angry and trying to save Miho by himself because he believes that she is being cheated by the old men. As a result, Honda is following both girls after school.

Having a burger today again, the escaping criminal is stealing jewelry at night. He did it this time. However, when he listens to the radio news report in the morning, he finds that the jewelry he got is fake. He did a mistake again.

Next day , Honda refuses to join Jyoonouchi and then follows Anzu and Miho after school. Yugi asks Jyoonouchi whether he is still going to accuse that Honda also works for a dating job. Both of them is getting serious, so they decide to follow three guys. Finally, all of them have reached and come in Burger World. Yugi remembers that it was the restaurant that Anzu talked about before. When Jyoonouchi and Yugi are entering, Anzu, Honda and Miho with the restaurant's customes come out to welcome them because they think that they are the customers. Three of them once turn back and much get embarrassed. They haven't imaged Yugi and Jyoonouchi's visit. Honda explains that he would love to work for money and help Miho make money because she needs money to spend for her new clothes. Then the boss tells three of them to keep working and take the customers to the seats.

At the same time, the escaping criminal is running around Burger World and an inspector is searching for him.

Yugi tells Jyoonouchi that both of them isn't supposed to be here. Then Anzu comes over the table with their orders. She explains that hamburgers of the restaurant are made of the great ingredient while she is squeezing the message on them "Tell and you die!" She seems to be very angry. Anyway, she turns back and tells both of them the truth. She is gathering some fund in order to study dancing in New York after graduation. Jyoonouchi promises that he won't tell anyone, so does Yugi. Anzu really thanks them and says that the hamburgers are on her.

Then an inspector comes into Burger World while everybody is having a meal. He talks to a manager and the others, Anzu, Honda and Miho whether they have seen the escpaed criminal. Jyoonouchi lets Yugi see that there is something hapenning. Both of them go closer and listen to what is going on. Miho is so scared that she shouts something about the criminal. So Anzu trys to shut her mouth. The manager asks for a picture of the criminal. The inspector shows a picture of a man with green hair. He adds that the criminal may have a gun and disguise very well. Anybody in this restaurant can be him. Anzu and the others think that they can find the criminal inside the restaurant easier because there are a few people. The inspector guides that the criminal has had a bruise on his right ankle after attacking against the polices during escape. As a result, Anzu comes up with an idea to find the disguised criminal. She takes the meal car toys and releases them along the floor. Everybody pretends to keep them all and looks on the customers' ankle legs at the same time. Yugi and Miho merely stand still and look at everbody's act. Finally, a customer feels unpleasure and starts complaining. So the inspector has to express himself and tell all customers in the restaurant to be under his control because there may be an escaped criminal sitting here. The inspector adds information to Anzu that before the criminal escaped, there had been an medical examination. The result was shown that the criminal was allergic to egg. After hearing, Anzu says very loud that hamburgers in this restaurant are all full of eggs. The real criminal starts freaking out and trembles. The inspector can notice his strange behavior and believe that he must be the escaped criminal named Tettsuo. The criminal tries to run away, however, he is caught by the inspector. He is asking for taking him to the hospital because he is afraid of his egg allergy. Anzu says that he is very stupid. Hamburgers of this restaurant are all made of wheat flour. Tettsuo is getting angry when he's realized that she lied him. Also he thinks that he is such an idiot. He has come to have hamburgers in this restaurant for three times and nothing has happened to his health. He jumps into Anzu and falls down on a guy. Then he notices a bruise on the right ankle of this guy. He reminds himself that this person may be the one who had stolen money from the safe before he did a few days ago. The inspector takes Tettsuo up at the same time when Tettsuo holds this guy's back shirt and finall rips it. There is a spider tattoo on this guy's back or the manager's back. Another real criminal is the manager of this restaurant. When he's realized that everything has been revealed, he takes Tettsuo's gun and holds Anzu as a hostage. The manager named Jiro revealed the truth to Tettsuo that he always had followed his crime for a few days and had acted before he did. The manager forces everbody in the restaurant to lie down and shut his or her eyes. He ties Anzu's eyes with a cloth. If she screams, he will put the trigger. Then he tells a little boy, Yugi, to bring him beer, cigarette and a lighter. Yugi is performing as he asked. Anzu thinks that the little boy must be Yugi. Thus he stands up and warns him not to come in that lets the criminal smacks her face. Yugi can't stand seeing his friend being hurt anymore. He changes into Yami Yugi and sits down across of the criminal. Then he challenges the criminal to duel by a shadow game. The rule is that each side has to choose to move a finger. He can do anything by the figure he chooses after the game begins. Yami Yugi selects his right thumb while the criminal selects his right index finger in order to trigger. Anzu is very curious who this guy is.

Then game starts. Yami Yugi lits the criminal's cigarette and drops the lighter on his right hand pouring beer. If he triggers, the lighter will be down into alcohol. Then he takes Anzu out from the criminal. As a result, the criminal releases his gun and turn off the lighter. Yami Yugi says that the dark gate has been ready for him. He explains that a shadow game can drag out the dark feeling inside people minds. The criminal is surprise when he sees the third eye on Yami Yugi's forehead. Yami Yugi gives the criminal a game punishment, The criminal is imaged that he is caught on fire.

Later, Burger World is close. Anzu doesn't work there anymore. Thus, Jyoonouchi takes Anzu and Yugi to a new beef curry restaurant. Everybody gets surprise again when he or she sees Honda and Miho with the cow's costomes are welcoming the customers. Anyway, for Anzu, she has been already attracted by a mysterious guy who saved her.
