At Blue Eyes Castle, The final duel between Yugi VS Leon continues. Yugi has full 4000 LP while Leon has only 3700 LP left. Turn comes to Leon. He plays a magic card, Iron Cage (Tetsu No Rin), from his hand. By its effect, it sends a monster on the field into a graveyard. As a result, Leon chooses to send his monster, Iron Hans, into the cemetery. Anzu and Yugi are surprised why Leon selected his own monster not Yugi’s monster. That is because Leon is gonna play a special effect of Iron Hans. When Iron Hans disappears from the field, it can increase attack power of Iron Knight by 1000. Thus, Iron Knight’s attack points increase from 700 to 1700. Leon lets it attack and destroy Elf Warrior of Yugi at once. So Yugi’s LP goes down to 3700 (4000+1400-1700). After that, Archer of the wood attacks Yugi directly. Yugi’s LP highly decreases to 2500 (3700-1200). Then Leon ends his turn. Everybody is very amazed by Leon’s great strike. Seeing that, Professor Hopskins understands Leon's strength that could defeat Rebecca. Sugoroku also agrees, thinking that Leon is a true duelist who is playing such a splendid deck. Also, he can understand very well what kind of the player is from cute monsters which represent the player's thought. Anzu agrees with Sugoroku. She knows that Leon always enjoys and feels happy when he talks about card issues. Even Rebecca accepts strength of Leon's deck that balances monster, trap and magic cards very well. Even Yugi is also surprised. He accepts that Leon could finally do a great job. Leon says that he really praises Yugi and he ever hoped to use his deck play against him in one day. It is apparent that Leon got an inspiration of his deck from fantasy picture books. They are his friends. And if there had been a real person from the books, he wouldn't have felt alone. Leon was very impressed by fairly tale characters in his books, so he wrote a letter to the creator, Pegasus, to produce many fairly-tale cards. Anyway, Leon is back to the point, telling Yugi that he is very serious about this duel now in order to beat Yugi. He always fights with this deck and he must win this game for his older brother who relies on him. Hearing that, Yami Yugi understands Leon's reason of this fight. He tells little Yugi that Leon's decision is very though. It means nothing to say anything to Leon. No matter how much anyone says, Leon now is thinking only to win for his brother. Even though Leon has to leave his pride of a duelist, he doesn't care. So Yami Yugi decides to continue fighting seriously in order not to regret later. Turn comes back to Yugi. Drawing a card, he gets Holy Barrier Mirror Force. Next, he summons Queen Knight (1500) in an attack mode and lets it attack Hunter of Forest (1200). Therefore, Leon’s LP goes down to 3400 (3700+1200-1500). Setting a reversed card (Holy Barrior Mirror Force), Yugi ends his turn. Next is Leon’s move. In his stand-by phase, Leon activates another effect of Iron Cage. It can regenerate the monster that the player sent to the graveyard by its effect onto the field. As a result, Iron Hans is returned from the cemetery. When Iron Hans is back on the field, the increased attack points of Iron Knight, 1700, decreases to its original points, 700 (Its attack points increase only if Iron Hans is sent into graveyard). After that, Leon’s activates a special effect of Iron Hans. When Iron Hans is summoned specially, the player can summon specially another Iron Knight (700) from his deck onto the field. Continuously, Leon plays a magic card, Needle of Pongee Thread (Ito Tsumugi No Hari). Rebecca remembers that it is the card that Leon played against her in the previous duel. Also, it is the card played to destroy a monster.
By its effect, it can destroy one monster of the opponent. So Leon lets it attack Queen Knight. Anyway, the destroyed monster will sleep in the graveyard for only three turns. After that, Yugi can summon specially a monster with the same type as that of the destroyed monster from graveyard, but he can't choose to summon the destroyed monster, Queen Knight. Everybody is worried because Yugi has no monster left on his field. Leon announces direct attack of Iron Hans at once. Suddenly, Yugi opens his reversed card, Holy Barrier Mirror Force, that returns the attack back to all monsters of the opponent. In other words, all monsters of Leon, two Iron knights and Iron Hans are destroyed. Everybody is glad to Yugi’s great play. Kaiba agrees and tells Siegfried that this is what it should be. However, Siegfried replies him that Leonhard’s real strength hasn't been presented yet. Back to the duel, Leon is keeping on his turn. He plays another magic card, Water of Life (Inochi No Misu). It allows the player to resummon a monster in his graveyard onto the field. Leon chooses to resummon Iron Hans. Following Iron Hans’special effect, Iron Knight is regenerated too. Then Leon ends his turn. Honda and Jyonouchi see that although Leon’s monsters were destroyed, they can be returned. Rebecca says that this is a strength of Leon’s deck that balances trap, magic and monster cards very well. That is why Leon has defeated many opponents and reached this position. Yugi’s turn, drawing a card, he plays Jar of Greed to draw additional two cards. He gets a key card, Watapon (200). By its effect, when drawn in the drawing phase, it can be summoned specially onto the field in an attack mode at once. Sacrificing summoned Watapon, Yugi summons Black Magician Girl (2000). Leon is very impressed by Yugi’s wonderful card. Next, Yugi lets Black Magician Girl attack Iron Knight (700). So Leon’s LP goes down to 2100 (3400+700-2000). Then Yugi ends his turn. Although Leon looks happy to see Black Magician’s great play, he intends to beat it seriously. Siegfried is thinking that Leonhard has come to the right way. He is waiting for his younger brother to show real strength in this duel. Seeing Siegfried’s act, Kaiba wonders what Siegfried has planned to do. Come to Leon’s turn. Drawing a card, he also gets Jar of Greed and plays it. When Leon draws additional two cards, he gets a key card. Anyway, he looks uncertain while Siegfried can read from Leonhard’s face that the key card, which he had given to his brother before this duel started, has already been picked up.
While Leon feels depressed, Yugi tells him to continue the duel. He says that Leon is a real duelist, so he shouldn’t give up until the end. Also, he tells Leon to show Siegfried what real strength of a duelist is. No matter what, Yugi will show that he can destroy this card. He tells Leon to trust him. Anyway, Leon still looks uncertain and wonders what he should do next…. To be Continued... [ Supplementary ] >> Leon's
