[ Epsiode 196 ] The Decisive Battle of Duel King - Yugi VS Leon

Finally, Kaiba can defeat Siegfried in the decisive battle in KC Grand Prix. Although everybody is discussing about the duel, Leon isn't sharing his feeling with them. Yugi accepts that Siegfried is, in fact, a great dueliest. Anyway, he doesn't understand why the guy like him has ended up like this. Then Yami Yugi expresses himself, thinking that he has already seen great fighting spirit of duelist that Kaiba showed him. Looking at Yugi, Kaiba thinks that the obstruct in this game has gone. Next turn is Yugi's move to show his great duel as an duel king. Then Kaiba is leaving the battle stage while Mokuba starts following his brother. Kaiba tells Isona to prepare for the next match of Yugi VS Leon. Turning back to Siegfried, Kaiba laughs at him, claims that Siegfried can't do anything and tells him to hurry to leave there. As Kaiba said, Siegfried can do nothing but express his pain to his face. Leaving his words that he will create/show success of Kaiba Corporation, Kaiba leaves the stage with Mokuba.

After that, Isona announces the next final match between Leon Wilson VS the duel king, Mutou Yugi. Despite people's applause, Leon doesn't look lively as usual. Meanwhile, Siegfried remaining on the stage starts laughing, takeing out a card. Then the battle stage is moved to another place. Mokuba introduces people the final stage of KC Grand Prix at Blue Eyes Castle. He arranges a special an upper floor above the duel stage for Jyonouchi and the others. Of course, all people are very impressed by this place and excited by the coming duel of Yugi. At the same time, Yugi is walking through a corridor to the battle stage. Both Yugi hopes that they and Leon will have fun with this duel. Then Yugi tranforms into Yami Yugi, going straight to his match with his active feeling. However, at another corridor, Leon isn't excided as he was before, walking up to the batte stage. Then he sees Seigfried waiting for him at the exit of the corridor. Seigfried shows him a card, giving that card to Leon. Although Leon seems not to prefer that card, he has to receive it.

Outside the castle, Isona announces the openning of the hot and exciting duel between Yugi and Leon. This event is broadcasted on TV channel through KC communication system. Mai who is walking around in a city sees the match on TV by accident. When Leon with serious face appears in front of Yugi, he tells Yugi that he's eventually reached here. Dueling against Yugi is always his dream. In order to achieve this goal, he has continued dueling. However, there is something that will be different today. While Leon hasn't finished his words, Isona interrupts him to open the game. Both of them switch suffling in the middle. Yugi tells Leon that he hopes to see a great match today. Yet, Leon turns his face back quickly, going to stand by at his position, and saying nothing. Yugi's a bit surprised by Leon's act, also walking back to his position. A camera is spotting down to the battle stage. Jyonouchi tries to express himself in front of the camera, so Mokuba has to smack him out of the way and claims that the camera is going to broadcast his brother not Jyonouchi. Then Kaiba appears on the upper floor while Isona is reporting that KC Grand Prix is created and sponsored by Kaiba Corporation. Everybody understands that this tournament is an important event of KC. In fact, Kaiba's feeling to duel against Yugi is stronger than that of the others. However, for the sake of KC and for Mokuba's and Kaiba's childhood dream (Create Kaiba Land), Kaiba has to control his feeling and stand over there solely looking the duel. Jyonouchi adds that he really understands Kaiba's feeling of a duelist to duel against Yugi. Anyway, the person who gets this chance is Leon ready on stage. After that Kaiba gives his speech to the audiences. Among many chosen duelists from all over the world, they have finally reached two to compete the title of a duel king. Then Kaiba announces to start the game "Duel".

Little Red Riding Hood Akasu Kin Monster Card

When the game starts, Leon with his full energatic feeling begins his turn at once. Drawing a card, he summons Landlady of the Wood (3/1800/300) in an attack mode and ends his turn. Jyonouchi is very amazed by strange character of Leon's monster. Anyway, Rebecca remember that card very well in her previous match. Next, drawing a card, Yugi plays Polymerization (Yuukou) to fuse two monsters on his hand. As a result, Yugi fuses Baffomet and Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts to summon The Flying Beast Kimera (Yuukoku Kenshuu Kimera 6/2100/1800) in an attack mode, ordering it to attack Landlady of the wood at once. So Leon's LP goes down to 3700 (4000+1800-2100). After that Yugi ends his turn. Leon realizes that Yugi is really great as he's expected. Turn is back to him, he summons Little Red Riding Hood (Akasu Kin 3/-/1200) in a defense position. Anzu is very impressed by Leon's cute monster while Jyonouchi thinks that Leon's deck may be full of those cute characters. Anyway, Rebecca warns everybody not to look down on those monsters by their appearances. No one understands their power until he faces them by himself. Then Leon ends his turn. Anzu is very surprised why Leon ended the turn while facing down no card, so is Rebecca. Rebecca says that Leon's play is very weird and different from what he played with her. Kaiba shares people's feeling too. After seeing Leon Wilson's plays in many matches, he notices that Leon has something different in this game. Besides, Leon looks more serious than he usually does. Even little Yugi also feels the same. He reminds Yami Yugi of Leon's normal character as a lively guy who enjoys the duel. However, Leon's feeling now is totally different. Yami Yugi agrees with little Yugi. Seeing through Leon's eyes, he sees no sight of fun at all. Anyway, turn is back to Yugi. He draws a card and continues the game. On the other side, an officer of KC is getting shocked when he sees the fact about a real appearance of Leon from his gathered data. On screen, it displays a background analysis of Leon as "Leonhard Von Schraider". In other words, Leon is an heir of Schraider family as Siegfried is. So the officer hurries to report this news to Kaiba...

Hunter of Forest Mori No Karyuudo Monster Card

Come to Yugi's turn. He summons Elf Warrior (4/1400/1200) in an attack mode, ordering it to attack Little Red Riding Hood, in a defense position, at once. Seeing that, everybody is certain that Yugi is going to continue a great hit. However, Rebecca thinks that it seems not to be easy as seeing because Leon's monsters should have some hidden effect. She is right. Leon suddenly activates a special effect of Little Red Riding Hood. When this card is destroyed, the player can summon specially a soldier-type monster with level 4 or less on to the field. As a result, Leon chooses to summon Hunter of Forest (Mori No Karyuudo 3/1200/800). When summoned, Hunter of Forest can activate its special effect to remove an animal-type family or an animal-soldier-type family from the game. Thus, Leon points Hunter of Forest's target to Yugi's The Flying Beast Kimera. Hunter of Forest releases its arrow to destroy and remove The Flying Beast Kimera from the game. As Rebecca said, power of Leon's deck has just been expressed. Yet, she adds that Leon's duel style is completely different from that he did against her. At that time, Leon really enjoyed the game and dueled with fun while now Leon seems not to enjoy the match at all. Back to the game, Yugi announces his turn's end. Before Leon continues his turn, he says that dueling against Yugi is always his dream and what he has waited for a long time. Anyway, he has to beat Yugi in this game in order to accomplish his mission. Hearing the word "mission", little Yugi is very surprised what kind of the mission Leon meant by that. At the same time, the officer hurries to give his report about Leon to Kaiba. Reviewing the report, Kaiba relizes that everything is as what he expected before. Siegfried suddenly appears behind, saying that Kaiba's finally figured out the truth. This is what Siegfried has planned. Another heir of Schraider family is Leonhard Von Schraider, Siegfried's younger brother. Siegfried tells Leon that time of fun has already finished and lets him show his show real power from now on. Turning his face to his brother, Leon accepts to follow that direction. Everybody gets surprised by this fact. Siegfried also claims that he knows how Kaiba feels or KC will get an impact if a member of a Schraider becomes the winner in this game. At this point, Isona asks whether Kaiba would like to stop this game. Then Kaiba laughs, claiming that he believes that such a great duelist like Yugi can't be definitely defeated. Although Yugi loses, Siegfried's plan also means nothing. Besides, Kaiba claims that there isn't any other duelist other than himself who can defeat Yugi. He expresses high confidence into Yugi. So the game still continues. Looking at Yugi, Kaiba sends his words through his eyes that he won't forgive Yugi if Yugi loses this game. Yugi understands well how Kaiba feels with him. Next, Siegfried gives his words like an order of the brother to Leon, telling him to beat Yugi for sake of Schraider family. As a result, Leon receives that command, turning his face against Yugi again and getting serious on the duel. Yami Yugi asks Leon back whether this is really good for him, whether this is really the duel that Leon has expected for a long time, and whether his heart of duelist is like this. Hearing that, Siegfried tells Leon not to hesitate, reminding him (start calling him Leonhard) of his mission again and lets him continue the duel. Leon understands that and tells Yugi that now he has to perform for his family. Then he starts telling his background story.

At a German castle, when Leonhard and Siegfried were young, one day, Leonhard brought out a book to ask his brother for advice. However, their mother let Siegfried go inside a room for private class, and told Leonhard not to disturb Siegfried. Siegfried was being brought up to be a successor (hope) of Schraider family. So Leonhard had to follow his mother's direction. One day, he was very impressed by duel monster game cards. Seeing Yugi's duels in Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, Leonhard really wanted to be in a part of that wonderful world. In other words, Yugi was his inspiration of this life. After that, Leonhard joined a tournament as a duelist, and finally won the first place. Also, he used a name, Leon Wilson, in the competition because he didn't tell his family about his attendance. Afther that tournament, Leonhard saw Siegfried, and he was afraid that his brother might get angry at him since he joined the competition with telling nobody. Siegfried said that he had known that before from his data. Thus, Leon said sorry to his brother, claiming that he merely wanted to be a duelist. Anyway, Siegfried didn't get angry at all. Instead, he was very glad with his wonderful younger brother, claiming that Leonhard's great duel ability would be neccessary to Schraider company. Leonhard was very happy to hear that he was important to his family, crying with his brother.

Back to the present time, Leon draws a conclusion that he must defeat Yugi for his brother, no matter what. Little Yugi has just realized why Leon looks weird in this game. He asks Yami Yugi how he will continue this duel. Yami Yugi has no idea, seeing solely serious feeling from Leon. Then the game continues on Leon's move. Drawing a card, he summons Iron Hans (Tetsu No Hans 4/-/1200) in an attack position. When this card is successfully summoned, the player can summon Iron Knight (Tetsu No Kishi 700) specially from his deck. Leon claims that he will show his power for his brother and next will be the end of this game. There are three monsters on Leon's field, Iron Hans, Hunter of Forest and Iron Knight. On the other side, Yugi has only Elf warrior on his field. Siegfried is pleased with Leon's good play while the others are worried whether Yugi is going to be finished...
