[ Epsiode 195 ] Walkure VS Blue Eyes White Dragon

The duel between Kaiba and Siegfried continues. Siegfried tells Kaiba that curse of Walkures has just begun. He also explains that following the effect of Nibelung Ring, Kaiba can draw 2 cards i>n the next drawing phase. If Kaiba gets one or two monster cards, he has to discard one of them into his cemetry. Anyway, Kaiba doesn't care what kind of the curse will be. Turn is back to him. Drawing a card, he faces down a card and ends his turn. Siegfried reminds Kaiba that XYZ Dragon Cannon is under the curse of Nibelung Ring. So Kaiba can't take control it. Mokuba is very worried about his brother because Kaiba can get a direct hit.

Armor of Conducting the Attack Kougeki Yuudou Armor Trap Card

Come to Siegfried's turn. Drawing a card, he lets Walkure Sovite attack Kaiba. Because Walkure Sovite is equipped with Fortune Chariot, so it can directly attack the opponent by its half of attack points following special effect of Chariot. Accordingly,Walkure Sovitewith 800 points (1600/2) can directly attack Kaiba. Suddenly, Kaiba opens a trap card, Armor of Conducting the Attack (Kougeki Yuudou Armor), which equips an armor with Walkure Altest. Kaiba explains that he can conduct the attacking monster to attack the monster equipped with this armor. As a result, Walkure Sovite turns back to attack Walkure Altest. However, Siegfried opens his trap card, Judgement of Buodan (Buodan No Sabagi), which can be activated when the opponent attacks. When Siegfried chooses a magic card on hand and switch it to the top card on the deck, the battle phase of the opponent is ended at once. Thus, Siegfried exchanges (Massatsu No Shito) with the top card on his deck. After that he plays his combo of destiny of three goddess sisters, Goddess Urd's Altar (Megami Urd No Saidan), Goddess Belldandy's Guardian (Megami Belldandy No Michibiki) and Goddess Skuld's Oracle (Megami Skuld No Takusen). Jyonouchi remembers that combo very well from his previous duel (episode 191). Yugi also knows that it is a combo to destroy the opponent's monsters. First Siegfried activates ability of Goddess Skuld's Oracle to see Kaiba's three top cards on his deck. By this effect, Kaiba can't see his own cards. Then Siegfried is shocked when he sees that those three top cards on Kaiba's deck are shown as three Blue Eyes White Dragons. Seeing Siegfried's expression, Kaiba asks back whether Siegfried saw destiny of destruction. Anyway, Siegfried continues playing the next effect of Goddess Belldandy's Guardian. Guessing a type of the top card on Kaiba's deck correctly, Siegfried can force him to set up that card on the field. Of couse, he knows that the card is a monster card, Blue Eyes Whie Dragon, so Kaiba has to set it in a reversed position. Lastly, Siegfried plays the ability of Goddess Urd's Altar. Guessing the reversed card on the opponent's field correctly, he can remove that card from the game. So Siegfried declares that Kaiba's reversed card is Blue Eyes Whie Dragon, and then Blue Eyes Whie Dragon is removed from the game. Then Siegfried ends his turn. Everybody is worried about Kaiba because one of his Blue Eyes Whie Dragons is gone. Siegfried's planned for this move and Kaiba must suffer from this combo. Next turn, Kaiba has to draw two cards following the effect of Nibelung Ring. Of course, those two cards are Blue Eyes White Dragons. Kaiba has to discard one Blue Eyes White Dragon into the cemetry. After that, the special ability of Walkure Altest will be activated. When an opponent's monster is sent to graveyard, this monster can consume the same attack points as that of the removed monster. In order words, Walkure Altest can consume Blue Eyes White Dragon's attack points (3000) in a turn, and that is the end of Kaiba.

Turn comes to Kaiba. Drawing two cards, Kaiba has to discard one Blue Eyes White Dragon into his graveyard following Siegfried's plan. While Siegfried thinks that this should be the end, Kaiba plays a Raise Dead (Shisha Sousei - Monster Reborn) from his hand to resurrect Blue Eyes White Dragon from his graveyard. This really shocks Siegfried because Walkure Altest can no longer consume Blue Eyes White Dragon's attack power. Kaiba orders Blue Eyes White Dragon to attack, so Fortune Chariot is destroyed. Siegfried's LP is down to 1100 (2500+1600-3000). Kaiba claims that he will let his Blue Eyes White Dragon change that kind of destiny, then he ends his turn. Mokuba is very glad to his brother's great performance.

Gryphon's Feather Duster Gryphon Hane Mokyo Magic Card

Come to Siegfried's stand by phase, he plays a combo of three goddess sisters to show three top cards on Kaiba's deck again. Those cards are a magic card, Shrink, Grand Dragon and Emerald Dragon. Continuing the combo, Emerald Dragon is removed from the game. After that, Seigfried plays another magic card, Gryphon's Feather Duster (Gryphon Hane Mokyo), which destroys all spell and trap cards on Siegfried's field. Then Siegfried can increase his LP by the number of destroyed cards multiplied by 500 points. As a reseult, all three magic cards, goddess sisters, are destroyed and Siegfried's LP goes up to 2600 (1100+500*3). Continuously, he sacrifices Walkure Altest and Walkure Sovite to summon Walkure Brunhilde (4/1800/1200) in a defense mode, ending his turn.

Turn comes to Kaiba again. Drawing two cards following the effect of the effect of Nibelung Ring, he gets Grand Dragon and Shrink as what Siegfried saw in the previous turn. So Kaiba has to discard Grand Dragon into his graveyard. After that, Kaiba lets Blue Eyes White Dragon attack Walkure Brunhilde. However, by an special of Walkure Brunhilde, it can remain on the field when its defense power is decreased by 300 points. As a result, Walkure Brunhilde's defense power goes down to 1000 (2000-1000). Setting a face-down card, Kaiba ends his turn.

Siegfried also feels sorry with Kaiba. Turn comes to Siegfried again. Drawing a card, he changes Walkure Brunhilde's position into an attack mode. Then another special ability of Walkure Brunhilde is activated. Its attack power can be powered up by 300 points for each dragon-type monther on the field. There is one dragon-type monster, Blue Eyes White Dragon, on the field, thus Walkure Brunhilde's attack points go up to 2100 (1800+300). After that he activates another equipment magic card,Spiritual Sword Of Notung - Equipment Magic (Reiken NooToungu). It increases an attack power of a Walkure-type monster by 400 point and remove a dragon-type monster on the field from the game. Therefore, Blue Eyes White Dragon is removed from the game, and Walkure Brunhilde's attack points go up to 2200 (1800+400 ; Blue Eyes White Dragon is removed from the game, so the attack power of Walkure Brunhilde goes back to 1800). AFter that, Siegfried plays a magic card, Pegasus Wings (Tenma No Tsubasa), which can be activated when Fortune Chariot exists in the cemetry. It allows Walkure-type monster to attack the opponent directly by its half of attack points. So Siegfried orders Walkure Brunhilde with 1100 (2200/2) to attack directly Kaiba. Suddenly, Kaiba opens his magic card, Shrink, to decrease the attacking monster's attack points by a half. Thus, Walkure Brunhilde's attack points go down to 550 (1100/2) and Kaiba's LP finally goes down to 550 (1100-550), too. Everybody is very worried about Kaiba while Kaiba seems not to give up yet...

Then Siegfried starts talking about his story with Kaiba. Everything began from that day, the day when Kaiba and Siegfried were young at the party. At that time, Kaiba Gonsaburo owned Kaiba Corporation, which was a army business like Schroider company of Siegfried's father. Of course, Siegfried's father was not pleased with KC that treatened Schroider company's existence. As a result, Siegfried was trained seriously in order to compete against the next leader of KC, Kaiba Seto, in the future. He's had negative feeling against Kaiba since then. Anyway, his father didn't succeed in his business and couldn't take advantage over KC. He finally became an incompetent. Therefore, Siegfried, the final successor, took his father's place to continue running Schroider company. He reorganized his company and changed it into an amusement business. That was because he would like to get away from KC. Yet, one day he got a news that Kaiba Seto took over KC and changed the business into the same amusement business as Schroider company did. Siegfried seemed not to be able to avoid this battle against KC again in his generation. So he worked very hard all day all night to develop game technology. Eventually, he succeeded in inventing battle box of duel system. In his laboratory, his card, Walkure Altest, could appear from the simulation system. Nevertheless, Siegfried was too late. Kaiba had got better chance with Pegasus's company before Siegfried's plan was presented to public.

Everybody has just understood what kind of obligation that Siegfried's had with KC. Siegfried intends to defeat Kaiba and beat KC in this time. Anyway, Kaiba asks whether that is Siegfried's real purpose.It isn't his business and he doesn't care about it at all. He will also let Siegfried know the conclusion of this battle. Drawing two cards following the effect of the effect of Nibelung Ring, Kaiba plays a magic card, Charity of an Angel Tenshi No Hodokoshi), from his hand. He gets two magic cards, so he doesn't have to discard any monster card into his graveyard. By its effect, Kaiba draws three cards and then discard two cards from her hand. Jyonouchi sees that Kaiba doesn't have to discard any monster card to his graveyard by that play. Both Yugi also see that Kaiba has already started his counterattack. Then Kaiba shows Siegfried that he discards Blue Eyes White Dragon and Clone Duplication in the cemetry. Siegfried is very amazed by that Kaiba discarded Blue Eyes White Dragon. Now there are Blue Eyes White Dragon (Light Type) and Pitch-

Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End Monster Card

Dark Dragon (Dark Type). Thus Kaiba can summon specially Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End (8/3000/2500), whose special ability can be activated when light and dark type monsters are in the player's graveyard. Kaiba also explains that this monster can send all cards in both players' hands and on the field to the Graveyard. However, Siegfried argues that Kaiba has to pay 1000 LP to play that effect. Now Kaiba has only 550 LP left. That means Kaiba's LP will go down to 0 if he plays it. Anyway, setting a reversed card, Kaiba plays a magic card, Emergency Meal (Hijyoo Shoku), from his hand. When Kaiba sends a magic or a trap card into his graveyard, he can gain 1000 LP for each discarded card. As a result, Kaiba sends the recent reversed card into his cemetry and his LP goes up to 1550 (550+1000). After that Kaiba pays 1000 LP to activate special ability of card destruction of Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End, so his LP goes down back to 550 (1550-1000) again. Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End's flame burns everything on the field. XYZ Dragon Cannon, Walkure Brunhilde, and Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End's flame itself are all wiped out. Besides, Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End's flame inflicts 300 points of damage to Siegfried 's Life Points for each card that is sent to the Graveyard by this effect. Thus, Siegfried's LP goes down to 1100 (2600-300*5; three combined monsters from XYZ Dragon Cannon, Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End and Walkure Brunhilde). At this point, Kaiba asks Siegfired back that he hasn't seen the destiny that Siegfried told him yet.

Light of the End Magic Card

Getting more serious, Siegfried continues his turn. Siegfried draws a card and plays Pot of Greed. When draws additional two cards, he plays a magic card, Alms of Demon Power Maryoku No Fuse), which allow Siegfried to gain 1000 LP. So, Siegfried's LP goes up to 2100 (1100+1000). Besides, in each player's turn, it can increase both players'LPs by 500 for each magic card which the player declares that he is going to use. If there is no enough magic card to be played, 1000 point damage is dealed to the player instead. Siegfried declares that he is going to play one magic card, so both Kaiba and Siegfried can gain 1000 LP. Kaiba's LP goes up to 1050 (550+500) while Siegfried's LP goes up to 2600 (2100+500). After that Siegfried plays the declared magic card, Light of the End (Shuumaku No Hikari) from his hand; this is the last card on his hand which he drew from the effect of Pot of Greed because all cards on his hand were destroyed by the effect of Kaiba's Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End. Paying 1000 LP, Siegfried can resurrect a light-type monster from his graveyard. As a result, Walkure Brunhilde is resurrected and Siegfried's LP goes down to 1600 (2600-1000). Moreover, Light of the End allows Kabia to resurrect a monster with 2000 or less attack points from his graveyard on the field in an attack mode. Thus, Kaiba decides to resurrect Grand Dragon (2000). Walkure Brunhilde's attack points can be increased by 300 points for each dragon or warrior type monster on the fiel, so its total attack power becomes 2100 (1800+300*1). Siegfried orders Walkure Brunhilde to destroy Grand Dragon that lets Kaiba's LP go down to 950 (1050+2000-2100). After that, Siegfried ends his turn.

Turn is back to Kaiba. Because Nibelung Ring equipped with XYZ Cannon Dragon was already gone, Kaiba draws a card as usual. Following the effect of Siegfried's Alms of Demon Power, Kaiba declares that he is going to play four magic cards. Siegfried is very shocked. Kaiba has only one recent drawn card on his hand because all of his card were aslo destroyed by the effect of Kaiba's Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End. That means Kaiba has to draw additional four cards and gets all four magic cards to play in this turn. Of course, Siegfried thinks that it is definitely impossible. Anyway, Kaiba will show that he can do it. So when Kaiba declares his future use, Kaiba's LP goes up to 2950 (950+4*500) while Siegfried's LP goes up to 3600 (1600+500*4). After that Kaiba plays his the first spell from his hand, Treasure of Slashing Life (Inochiketsuri No Housatsu), which allows him to draw additional 5 cards and forces him to discards all cards on hand in the next 5 turns. (Kaiba gets 5 magic cards from this drawing) Then Kaiba starts playing his rest three spells as following;

Emacipation of Soul Magic Card

2. Kaiba plays Emacipation of Soul (Tamashi No Kaihou), which forces both players to select up to five cards from their graveyards and remove them from the game. As a result, Kaiba selects to remove Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End from the game.

3. Kaiba plays Reclaim of Spell (Mahou Saisei). Discarding two magic cards on hands into graveyard, Kaiba can return a magic card from the graveyard to his hand.

4. Kaiba plays Fusion of Dimension(Jigen Yuugou) . Paying 2000 LP to play card, Kaiba can resummoned specially monsters removed from the game. As a result, Kaiba's LP goes down to 950 (2950-1000) in order to resummon specially all of his removed monsters Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End, three Blue Eyes White Dragons and Emerald Dragon back to the game.

Large dragon army of Kaiba appear on the field. When there are 5 dragon-type monsters, Walkure Brunhilde's attack points are increased to 3300 (1800+300*5). Siegfried claims that his Walkure Brunhilde still has the highest attack power. Anyway, Kaiba starts his attack of the five dragonsas following;

1. Kabia orders Emerald Dragon to first attack Walkure Brunhilde despite Siegfried's amaze. Walkure Brunhilde destroys Emerald Dragon, so Kaiba's LP goes down to 50 (950+2400-3300). Everybody is very worried about Kaiba's little LP left. When Emerald Dragon is gone, Walkure Brunhilde's attack points go down to 3000 (1800+300*4).

2. Kaiba lets Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End (3000) attack Walkure Brunhilde (3000). By the same attack points, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End is destoyed. However, Walkure Brunhilde can remain on the field due to its special effect; Walkure Brunhilde can remain on the field if the player decreases its defense power by 1000. As a result, Walkure Brunhilde 's defense power goes down to 1000 (2000-1000). Also, its attack power is decreased to 2700 (1800+300*3) because another dragon of Kaiba was already destroyed.

3. Kaiba lets Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000) attack Walkure Brunhilde (2700/1000). However, Walkure Brunhilde can still remain on the field by its special effect; Walkure Brunhilde can remain on the field if the player decreases its defense power by 1000. As a result, Walkure Brunhilde defense power goes down to 0 (1000-1000) while its attack power has no change (2700) because three Blue Eyes White Dragon remained the same number on the field. Besides, Siegfried's LP goes down to 3000 (3300+2700-3000).

4. Kaiba lets the second Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000) attack Walkure Brunhilde (2700/1000). Walkure Brunhilde is destroyed and Siegfried's LP goes down to 2700 (3000+2700-3000). At this time, Siegfried has already realized his coming destiny.

5. Kaiba lets the last Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000) attack Siegfried directly . Finally Siegfried's LP goes down to 0 (2700-3000) and Siegfried is defeated.

Falling on his knees, Siegfried is very shocked. Mokuba is very happy with his brother. Both Yugi are also amazed by strong play of Kaiba while the others are shocked by such an incredible and outstanding move. Then Kaiba starts laughing loudly with his great victory...
