[ Epsiode 193 ] Leon in Wonderland

Moving into Chinese Restaurant, Yugi, Jyonouchi, Anzu, Honda and Otogi see fireworks and Sugoroku hitting a gong. The hit creates very loud noise to all of them. Then the lights are turned on. All people are amazed by a giant dragon statue on the ceiling and various types of food prepared on tables. Honda and Jyonouchi are very attacted by Chinese luxury meals. So both of them with hunger start running straight to the tables. Suddenly, hearing Vivian's voice, they stop and look up to upper floors where the sound came from. There, Vivian is posturing her Chinese arts, and then jumping down from the high floor. Everyone is getting shocked to what she is doing. However, Vivian is landing down too smoothly. Otogi points the others to see Sugoroku who is pulling a rope holding Vivian up from downstair. Yugi is very amazed. Thus, he calls Sugoroku, asking what his grandpa is doing there. When Sugoroku sees people, he accidently releases the rope. So Vivian falls down and hits floor. She blames Sugoroku that she gets hurt. Sogoroku says sorry to her and calls her name Vivi-Chan. Jyonouchi and Honda feel weird to hear that name from Sugoroku's word. Anyway, Yugi comes in and asks his grandpa again. He says that everybody's been very worried about him since he disappeared from the hospital. Sugoroku feels uncomfortable to answer. Then Vivian interrupts and tells people that this is her business with only Yugi. She sends a signal to Sugoroku to hit the gong again. After that, there is a scroll coming out from a dragon statute's mouth. The Chinese texts on the scroll are written "Welcome Yugi-Sama (Mr.Yugi)". Vivian is acting weird, claiming that this place is a decisive battle of KC Grand Prix between her and Yugi. However, Anzu tries to stop Vivian's act, saying that Vivian has no right to duel againt Yugi because she's already been defeated by Rebecca. Otogi also agrees with Anzu. Nevertheless, Vivian tells that other people are very annoying, trying to present that a duel can be performed at any place and any time. Then she asks Yugi for his view, and believes that Yugi must agree with her. However, Yugi says that this is bad, thus he refuses to duel against Vivian. Vivian seems disappointed by Yugi's answer. Anyway, Sugoroku tries to ask Yugi for dueling against ViVi-Chan. Yugi is very surprised by his grandpa's act on Vivian's side. Seeing that, Jyonouchi wonders whether Sugoroku is under pretense of love with her. Sugoroku tries to refuse and then explains what happened to him at the hospital. When Professor Hopskins left the room, Vivian entered the room to see Sugoroku. She asked whether Sugoroku was Yugi's grandpa. Sugoroku's face became red when he saw her and then answered yes. Vivian told him that she would help him if Sugoroku listened to her request. Of course, Sugoroku agreed at once. Suddenly, Vivian put her finger strongly into Sugoroku's back, so Sugoroku screamed with pain. However, he felt better later. As a result, Sugoroku tells people that he would like to keep a promise with her. Honda and Jyonouchi hardly believe that there is only one reason in this case. Also, Yugi feels tired with his grandpa's act. Sugoroku is disappointed when he understands that Yugi won't accept the duel. Anyway, Vivian doesn't give up easily. She returns pain to Sugoroku's back again, challenging Yugi for a duel if Yugi would like her to save his grandpa. In order to duel against Yugi, she doesn't care what kind of method she has to use. Then she jumps on a table, waiting for Yugi's reply. Jyonouchi tells Yugi not to accept this duel. Anzu also agrees not to let Yugi duel against a crazy girl. Seeing Sugoroku, Yugi is hesitating. Then Yumi Yugi shows up in his mind, telling little Yugi to help Sugoroku in this unavoidable duel. So, little Yugi says sorry to Yami Yugi for this bad situation. Changing into Yami Yugi, he jumps on a table and faces against Vivian. Vivian claims that if Yugi loses, he has to become her man (servant). Hearing that, Anzu is getting furious. She conplains where Vivian's heart of duelist in decisive battle is and what her claim about servant means. Thus, Jyonouchi tries to let her clam down. Anyway, Yugi accepts her words. He will do anything if Vivian can beat him. Otogi agrees with Yugi. If he finishes his work here, everybody can hurry to go cheering Rebecca. Accordingly, the duel between Vivan VS Yugi begins.

Black Witch of the Forest Kuroki Mori No Witch Monster Card

Back to miniatureland, the duel between Leon VS Rebecca continues. Rebecca has 1300 LP left and has no monster on her field while Leon has Cinderella (1300), Horse Carriage of Pumpkin (800) and 1700 LP. Turn comes to Rebecca. Drawing a card, she activates a magic card, Pot of Greed, to draw additional two cards. Continuously, she summons Black Witch of the Forest (Kuroki Mori No Witch) with 1100 attck points in an attack mode. She lets it attack Horse Carriage of Pumpkin. So Cinderella can't perform direct attack to the opponent anymore. After that, Rebecca ends her turn.

Move to Leon turn. After he draws a card, he lets Cinderella (1300) attack Black Witch of the Forest (1100). Thus, Rebecca's LP is down to 1100 (1300+1100-1300). Suddenly, Rebecca activates special effect of Black Witch of the Forest. When it is sent into graveyard, she can put a monster with defense power less than 1500 from deck to her hand. So Rebecca choses to pick up Ruby Dragon. After that, Leon continues his turn. He summons Thumb Shopboy (Oyayubi Kozou) in a defense mode, setting a card and then ending his turn.

Weakening of Attack Kougeki No Muryoku Ka Magic Card

Turn comes back to Rebecca. She summons Ruby Dragon (1600) in an attack mode. Then she activates a magic card, Dragon's Gunfire (Haryuu No Haendan), with Ruby Dragon. Its special effect allows to destroy a monster with defense power more than 800. As a result, Ruby Dragon uses Dragon's Gunfire destroy Cinderella. Continuously, Rebecca lets Ruby Dragon attack Thumb Shopboy; however, the attack is blocked by a magic card, Weakening of Attack (Kougeki No Muryoku Ka) , which can make the attack of the opponent's monster invalid and the opponent's battle phase must be ended. Rebecca can do nothing else, setting two cards and ending her turn. At this time, Rebecca accepts great strength of Leon. She turns back to look for Yugi and wonders why Yugi hasn't come yet. While she is losing her spirit, many children around there start calling her name and cheering her up. So Rebecca turns back with fighting spirit against Leon again.

Come to Leon's move. He activates a magic card, Practice of Man (Otoko No Shugyoo). When there is more than one monster on the field, Leon can sacrifice Thumb Shopboy to summon Glover Man (2600) in an attack mode. He lets Glover Man attack Ruby Dragon. Accordingly, Rebecca's LP is decreased to 100 (1100+1600-2600). Suddenly, Rebecca activates her trap card, Rope of Life (Inochi No Tsuna) , which can be activated when her monster is sent into graveyard as a result of the battle, and she discards all cards on hand to graveyard. Then she can resurrect from graveyard a monster plus additional 800 attack points in an attack or defense mode. Thus, Ruby Dragon with total 2400 attack points (1600+800) is resummoned from her cemetry. After that, she activates a magic card, Revival of Diamond Sword (Kongouken No Fukkatsu). Sacrificing a dragon-type monster, Ruby Dragon, that was summoned specially, Rebecca can summon specially Diamond Head Dragon from her deck with additional 1000 attack points. As a result, total attack points of Diamond Head Dragon is equal to 3400 (2400+1000). Facing against Diamond Head Dragon with 3400 attack points, Leon has to end his turn. At this point, Rebecca has more confidence that she won't lose...

Wind Thunder Sword Furaiken Magic Card

At the Chinese Restaurant, Jyonouchi and Honda are having the meals without paying attention to Yugi who is dueling against Vivian alone. So Anzu has to know them out and asks why they won't help to cheer Yugi. Anyway, Jyonouchi believes that Yugi can't be defeated and invites Anzu to join such delicious meals. While Anzu can no longer keep her hunger, Otogi points everybody out that Vivian's got her key card. On Vivian's field, there are Master Kyunji (Tatsujin Kyunji) and Kung Fu Nyan Nyan while on Yugi's field, there is Black Magician. Vivian plays a magic card, Five Colors of Colorful Dusk (Goshiki No Saibo). Sacrifing Kung Fu Nyan Nyan and Master Kyunji , she can summon specially Dragon Lady (2500) from her deck or hand. Then she activates another magic card, Wind Thunder Sword (Furaiken), which is equipped to Dragon Lady. It can increase attack power of it by 300 points. So Dragon Lady's total attack points are 2800 (2500+300). Also, the monster equipped with this card can perform the second attack in this turn by a half of its attack points. Vivian lets Dragon Lady destroy Black Magician and then attacks directly Yugi. Therefore, Yugi's LP is down to 1800 (3500+2500-2800-1400). Eveybody is surprised by that Black Magician was finally destroyed, setting a card and ending his turn.

Turn comes back to Yugi. He summons Big Shield Guardner (2600) in a defense mode. Honda wonders whether Yugi will be okey. However, Anzu still believes in Yugi's performance. Everybody is talking while eating at the same time.

Come to Vivian's turn again, she lets Dragon Lady attack Big Shield Guardner. Suddenly, Yugi activates a trap card, Holy Barrier Mirror Force (Seinaru Barrier Mirror Force), to counter the attack. However, Vivian activates another magic card, Remaining Snow Sword (Sansekken), which can let any effect of trap and magic cards of the opponent invalid and then destroy that card. Accordingly, Holy Barrier Mirror Force of Yugi and Big Shield Guardner are destroyed. After that Dragon Lady with half attack points, 1400, prepares for the second attack following the effect of Wind Thunder Sword. Jyonouchi is worried about whether Yugi will be directly attacked by the second strike. Vivian activates one more magic card, Heavenly Dance of Dragons (Kiryuutenbu). Discarding four dragon-type monsters from the her deck into graveyard, the attack power of Dragon Lady is powered up by 1200 points. So total attack power of it becomes 2600 (1400+1200) that is greater than Yugi's LP now. Jyonouchi and Anzu are amazed by whether Yugi will be defeated at this turn. Then Vivian lets Dragon Lady attack directly Yugi, getting happy that she is going to win. Yet, Yugi activates special effect of Kuribo. Discarding it from his hand, Yugi receives 0 damage from Dragon Lady's attack. Vivian feels very pity for her chance. She is very close to beat Yugi and hopes she will do it in the next turn. Then she ends her turn.

Anyway, Yugi disagrees with her. He claims that there will be no more turn and he will defeat her in this move. Of course, Vivian doesn't believe that words. Drawing a card, Yugi plays a great combo to summon Black Paladin as following steps;

Skilled Dark Magician Monster Card

1. Summon Skilled Dark Magician in an attack mode.
2. Play a magic card, Pot of Greed, from his hand to draw additional two cards. (First Spell)
3. Play Emblem of Dragon Destroyer (Ryuuhakia No Akashi) from his hand to take Buster Blader from his graveyard. (Second Spell)
4. Play Move Dead (Shisha Tensei) to revive Black Magician from his graveyard to his deck. (Third Spell)
5. When three spells (2,3,4) are activated, Yugi can sacrifice Skilled Dark Magician to summon specially Black Magician from his deck.
6. Fuse Black Magian with Buster Blader to summon Black Paladin (2900) whose attack power can be increased by 500 points for each dragon-type monster on the opponent's field or graveyard.

Vivian is getting shocked because in previous turn she discarded four dragon-type monters into graveyard following the effect of Heavenly Dance of Dragons to increase power of Dragon Lady. So total attack points of Black Paladin are 4900 (2900+500*4). Black Paladin destroys Dragon Lady and finally lets Vivian's LP down to 0. Everybody is glad to see Yugi's victory as he or she's expected. Then Yami Yugi changes into little Yugi again. He asks Vivian for her promise to cure his grandpa and Vivian has to accept it.

Back to Miniatureland. The duel between Leon and Rebecca continues. Leon has 1700 LP left with his Glover Man (2600) while Rebecca has 100 LP left with her Diamond Head Dragon (3400). Then Yugi and the others have just arrived. Rebecca is very glad to see that Yugi has finally come to cheer. Jyonouchi is very worried whether Rebecca can win because she has only 100 LP left. Yet, Rebecca tells him confidently not to worry. Turn is back to her. Drawing a card, she lets Diamond Head Dragon attack Glover Man. Thus Leon's LP is down to 900 (1700+2600-3400). Setting a card, Rebecca ends her turn.

Thorn Princess Ibara No Hime Monster Card

Turn comes to Leon again. After drawing a card, he activates a magic card, Gold Coin of the Stars (Houshi No Ginga). The card can be activated when the Leon gives another last card to Rebecca. Then he can draw a card from his deck. So Leon gives Needle of Pongee Thread (Ito Tsumugi No Hari) to her. Rebecca wonders and says that activating it in the next turn, she can destroy a monster on the opponent's field following the effect of this card. However, it allows Leon to summon specially a monster with the same type as that of the destroyed monster from graveyard, but he can't chose to summon the destroyed monster. Leon tells her that he would like to see who will prevail in the coming future. After that, Leon activates a magic card, Awakening of 100 years (Hyakunen No Mezame). Sacrificing Curse of Thorn, he can summon specially Thorn Princess (Ibara No Hime) from his deck. By special effect of Thorn Princess, Leon can control Diamond Head Dragon of Rebecca until his end phase. As a result, Diamond Head Dragon (3400) attacks to Rebecca, her LP finally goes down to 0. Everybody is shocked that Rebecca was defeated. Leon walks close to her and say sorry for his victory. Anyway, Rebecca congratulates him and cheers him in the final round. She hopes that Leon will duel against Yugi. Walking back to her friend, Rebecca still feels upset. Yet, people around there applaud for her great duel. Yugi also admires her that she already did her best. Hearing that words, Rebecca starts crying and asking why Yugi didn't come to cheer her before. Yugi understands her feeling and merely says sorry. Sugoroku adds that Rebecca isn't good enough. So everyone has to stop Sugoroku's words..
