[ Epsiode 191 ] Goddess of Monster Erasure

Continuously from previous episode, Sieg, who has 1600 LP left, is activating his key magic card, Walkuren Ritt (Ride of Walkuress), which allows him to summon all Walkuress he has on his hand (not from his deck - it means that Sieg has had already four Walkuress on his hand). As a result, four Walkuress riding on white hourses, three Walkures Sovite and one Valyrie Altest, with 1600 attack point each are summoned, and they appear from the sky. Then Sieg activates special ability of a Walkures Sovite. When this monster is summoned, it can destroy a monster on the field. So, Sieg orders it to destroy Psycho Shocker of Jyonouchi. After that he activates special ability of another Walkures Altest. When there is a monster removed from the game, Walkures Altest can use the attack power of that monster to attack in this turn. Psycho Shocker was destroyed and removed, so Walkures Altest uses its attack power, 2400 points, as its own power. Sieg continuously orders Walkures Altest to attack directly Jyonouchi. After that he orders the three Walkures Sovite directly attack him together. Everybody is very worried about Jonouchi who is strongly getting hit by four Walkuress in a turn. However, Jyonouchi hasn't been defeated yet. He still remains 800 LP that amazes Sieg a lot. This is because Jyonouchi activated a magic card, Hyper Fresh, which can double his LP. While Walkures Altest (2400) attacked him, he had 8000 LP (4000*2). Therefore, after this attack, he had 5600 LP left (8000-2400). Then , when three Walkures Sovite with total attack points of 4800 (1600*3) attacked, Jyonouchi remained 800 LP left (5600-4800). Seeing that Jyonouchi is very stubborn, Sieg faces down a card and ends his turn. Also, by the effect of Walkuren Ritt, all Walkuress must disappear at the end of the turn, and Sieg has to shuffle his deck. Jyonouchi thinks that next turn should be his chance because Sieg hasn't any monster on his field now. On the other side, Kaiba is trying to fix mulfunction of his main computer. He shuts down most systems that lets any machines and attractions in Kaiba Land stop working. Ferris wheel, the battle stage of Rebecca VS Abe, stops moving in the sky and even Roller Coaster in Kaiba theme park has to be closed. At the battle stage of Jyonouchi VS Sieg, volcanos also stops erupting. Everybody feels that everything becomes quiet. Mokuba feels strange though, so he is leaving to see his brother. Sieg can guess that this must be Kaiba's act, and also doubts whether Kaiba can finally find him, who is the real hacker. Seeing that most duels on dispalys have returned normally, Kaiba is thinking about a person who has ability to hack Kaiba's main computer. Then a picture of a little boy in his childhood memory comes out in his brain (go back and read in episode 190). He wonders whether that boy in Gonsaburo's party is the same person as Sieg.
Back to the duel, turn is back to Jyonouchi. Drawing a card, he summons Swordman of Landstar (Landstart No Kenshi) with 500 attack power in an attack mode. After that, Jyonouchi lets Swordman of Landstar directly attack Sieg. Suddenly, Sieg activates a trap card, Mediation of Freak (Freak No Chuusai), which allows him to take Judgement of Buodan back from his graveyard that also lets the attack of the opponent invalid. So Swordman of Landstar has to step back. Jyonouchi can do nothing else. Setting a card, which is a magic card - Angel's Dice, he ends his turn. Turn is back to Sieg, drawing a card, he acitvates a magic card, Treasure of Nibelung (Nibelung No Zaihou), which allows Seig to take a magic card, Nibelung Ring (Nibelung No Yuubi), from his deck and place it on the opponent's field. Also, Sieg can draw additional five cards from his deck. As a result, Nibelung Ring appears on Jyonouchi's field and equips with Swordmand of Lanstar's finger. Continuously, Sieg plays three magic cards which represent his destiny of past, present and future. They are three goddess sisters, Goddess Urd's Altar (Megami Urd No Saidan), Goddess Belldandy's Guardian (Megami Belldandy No Michibiki) and Goddess Skuld's Oracle (Megami Skuld No Takusen). Then Sieg activates ability of Goddess Skuld's Oracle to force the opponent to show three top cards on his deck, and Sieg can also choose which cards will be placed back. Accordingly, after Jyonouchi shows his cards, Sieg tells Jyonouchi to place two cards back on the top of the deck. Everybody wonders what Sieg is planning to do. After that, Sieg activates ability of Goddess Belldandy's Guardian. Following its effect, Sieg has to guess a type of a card on the top of the opponent's deck. If he can guess correctly, that card is set up on the field. If the card is a monster card, it is set up in reverse position. Of course, Sieg knows the top card of Jyonouchi that he saw in few minutes ago because he told him to put it back on the top of the deck. It is a monster card, so Jonouchi has to set up it in a reversed mode. Lastly, Seig plays an ability of Goddess Urd's Altar. By its effect, Sieg has to guess the reversed card on the opponent's field. If he can guess correctly, he can remove that card from the game. It is apparent that Sieg also knows the reversed card that he foreced Jyonouchi to set up. It is a monster card, Panther Warrior. As a result, Panther Warrior is removed from the game, flying and disappearing into the sky. Everybody is amazed by Sieg's technique to remove Jyonouchi's cards from this game. Turn is back to Jyonouchi. After he draws a card, Sieg suddenly activates special ability of Nibelung Ring equiped with Swordman of Landstar. He says that Jyonouchi has already been trapped into god's curse. When this ring is attached to a monster, the monster can't receive any command from its player. That means Swordman of Landstar can't follow Jyonouchi's order. However, this card allows Jyonouchi to draw 2 cards in his drawing phase. If those cards consist of one or two monsters, one of them must be sent to graveyard. When Jyonouchi draws two cards, Sieg knows that one of them must be a monster card, Knight of Black Dragon, because of the effects of three goddess sisters in his previous turn. Thus Jyonouchi has to put Knight of Black Dragon into his graveyard. Both Yugi are worried about Sieg's strategy that removes Jyonouchi's monsters. Jyonouchi can't even use and summon any monsters.
Presently, Jyonouchi remians 800 LP while Sieg remains 1600 LP. Jyonouchi continues his turn. He activates a continuous magic card, Dangerous Machine Type 6 and ends his turn. Back to Sieg's move. Drawing a card, Sieg activates abilities of three goddess sisters again. So Jyonouchi has to show his three top cards on his deck which are Free Fighter of Landstar, Goblin Attack Force and Sasuke Samurai. Sieg tells Jyonouchi to place two cards back on his deck, expressing the top card that is a monster type, Goblin Attack Force. When he says correctly, Goblin Attack Force is removed from the game, flying into the sky. Setting a card, Sieg ends his turn. Next turn comes to Jyonouchi. Jyonouchi has to draw two cards following the effect of Nibelung Ring. Sieg knows that one of them is a monster card, Free Fighter of Landstar. So Jyonouchi has to discard it into his graveyard and gets another new card which Sieg has no idea what it is. After that he activates special ability of Danderous Machine Type 6. The 6 balls on the machine are rolling and they finally stop at the same number 3. That means Jyonouchi is allowed to draw an additional card. Drawing a card, Jyonouchi summons Sasuke Samurai in an attack mode.
Suddenly, Sieg plays a trap card,Flame of Roge (Roge Honou), which can stop the attack of a monster that is below 2000 points. So Sakuke Samurai's attack seems to be invalid. However, Jyonouchi doesn't give up easily. He activates a magic card, Angel's Dice, to increase the attack powr of Sasuke Samurai. Yet, the dice is shown as number 3 that lets the attack power of Sasuke Samurai be only 1500 (500*3). So the attack is still invalid. Sieg tells Jyonouchi that luck or destiny seems to be by his side not Jyonouchi's side. At the same time at another battle stage, Horror House, Leon finally defeats Shark despite the fact that he remains full 4000 LP. Also, Rebecca has just defeated Abe. She tries to wave her sign her her darling on screen. Back to the duel of Jyonouchi, he is very worried about bad luck of his destiny today. Setting a trap card, he ends his turn.
Move is back to Sieg. He plays combo of the three goddess sisters as usual. This time, Jyonouchi shows his three cards of Iron Warrior Gearfried, Blue Flame Swordman and a magic card. This time, Iron Warrior Gearfried is removed from the game. After that, Sieg plays a magic card, Madian of Swan (Haku Choo No Otome), which allow Sieg to summon a Walkures from his hand. As a result, Sieg summons Walkures Altest with 1600 attack power, ordering it to attack Sasuke Samurai with 500 attack points. Everybody is very worried because Jyonouchi will be defeated if Sasuke Samurai is destroyed. Suddenly, Jyonouchi activates a trap card, A Silver Coin of 1 dollar (1 dollar Ginka) which can avoid damage from the attack of the monster with more than 1000 attack points. So Jyonouchi is still save in this turn.
Next turn comes to Jyonouchi. He draws two cards by the effect of Nebel Ring as usual. Discarding a monster card, he activates ability of Dangerous Machine Type 6 again. Luckily he still gets all balls with number 3. So it allows him to draw a card. Jyoonuchi gets Treasure of Destiny (Unmei No Housatsu). He feels happy that his destiny hasn't gone yet. Acitvating it, Jyonouchi gets the highest number 6 that allows him to draw 6 cards. Continuously, he plays Hurricane to return all magic and trap cards to the player's hand. So the three goddess sisters are returned to Sieg's hand and even Dangerous Machine Type 6 of Jyonouchi is returned to his hand. Suddenly, Sieg plays a trap card, Apple of Freya (Freya of Ringo) which can be activated when it is removed from the field. It also allows Sieg to draw one more card. Also, he activates special ability of Flame of Roge which can be activated when removed from the field too. It allows Sieg to summon specially Walkures Brunhilde (1800/2000). Also, its attack power can be increased by 300 points per warrior or dragon type monster on the field. Jyonouchi has Swordmans of Landstar and Sasuke Samurai, so total attack power of Walkures Brunhilde is 2400 (1800+300*2).
Jyonouchi hasn't finished his turn yet. He sacrifices Swordmand of Landstar to summun Maximum Six with 1900 attack power. Then a dice is rolled from this card. Jyonouchi can increase the attack of this monster by 200 multiplied by the number on the dice. Luckily, he gets 6, so total attack points of Maximum Six are 3100 (1900+200*6). Also, Jyoonouchi plays another magic card, Star Plaster. Sacrificing Sakuke Samurai to play this card, Jyonouchi can summon specially a monster with the level equal to level number of sacrificed monster plus number on the rolled dice. The dice is rolled and it finally results number 5. Jyonouchi has a luck again. Sacrificed monster is Sakurai Sasuke with 2 stars. When it is added with number 5 on the dice, total starts are 7. That means Jyonouchi can specially summon Red Eyes Black Dragon with 7 stars. Then Jyonouchi lets Maximum Six (3100) attack Walkures Brunhilde (2400). Sieg's LP is down to 900 (1600+2400-3100). However, Walkures Brunhilde hasn't been destroyed by this first strike yet. Sieg explains its special ability that when attacked by a monster with greater atk points, Walkures Brunhilde's defense power is decreased by 1000 points to remain on the field. So Walkures Brunhilde's attack power is down to 1000 (2000-1000). After that, Jyonouchi lets Red Eyes Black Dragon continues attacking Valkrie Altest. Lastly Valkrie Altest is destroyed and Sieg's LP is down to 100 (900+1600-2400). Jyonouchi reactivates Dangerous Machine Type 6 from his hand, setting a card and end his turn.
At this point, Jyonouchi seems to prevail. Everybody is also glad with him. Sieg has just started getting serious on this duel. He activates a magic card, Spiritual Sword (Reiken NooToungu - I am sorry that I have no idea how to translate this word into proper English). Equiped with this sword, Walkures Brunhilde's attack points can be increased by 400 points. Its total attack points are now 2800 (2400+400). By its special ability, Spiritual Sword can destroy all dragon type monsters on the field. As a result, Red Eyes Black Dragon is destroyed. After that, Sieg plays another magic card, Suspension Bridge of Hero (Eiyuu No Kakehashi Biu Lost - I am sorry that I have no idea how to translate this word into proper English). By its effect, Walkures's attack can be powered up by 500 per monster removed from the game. Both Yugi has just realized that this is what Sieg has planned to remove Jyonouchi's monsters from the game and later increase attack power of his Walkures. Those removed monsters are Jinzo (Psycho Shocker), Panther Warrior, Goblin Attack Force, Iron Warrior Gearfried and Red Eyes Black Dragon, totally 5 monsters. As a result, total attack power of Walkures Brunhilde is up to 5000. Suddenly, Jyonouchi activates a trap card, Compensation of Arbitration (Chuusai No Daishoo). Sieg is amazed by Jyonouchi's act that tries to continues his destiny. By its effect, Jyonouchi has to give this trap card to Sieg. Then Sieg has to set it with his other two cards, magic or trap cards, on face-down mode. If Jyonouchi can guess correctly which card is Compensation of Arbitration, Sieg's battle phase is ended. Setting three cards on his field, Sieg lets Jyonouchi select. Jyonouchi chooses the middle card which is a magic card, Madian of Swan, of Sieg not Compensation of Arbitration. So Sieg can let Walkures Brunhilde with 5000 attack points keep attacking. Jyonouchi's monster. Lastly, Jyonouchi's LP is down to 0 and he loses. Everybody is very shocked, seeing Jyonouchi's defeat. It seems that luck of destiny is with Sieg not Jyonouchi. Then Sieg turns back and walks out there by leaving a white rose behind. Isona is announcing the result of this match in Kaiba Dome and reporting the final 4 duelists. Jyonouchi is still upset while his friends are trying to console him. Then he starts complaining a lot and chasing around them. It is pity that he almost won. Yugi thinks that this was such a great duel for Jyonouchi as well... To be Continued...
