[ Epsiode 189 ] Hot Battle ! Rebecca VS Vivian

After the duel, Jyoonouchi VS Mask the Rock (Sugoroku), everybody leaves the jungle zone. Mokuba points out that the second duel in B block is going to begin. Seeing on screen, he or she sees Rebecca going to duel against Vivian at Blues Eyes Train Station. Also, Isona is introducing both duelists, Rebecca Hopskins - America champ VS Vivian Wong - Asia Champ. While Anzu and Yugi are amazed by that weird lady, Sugoroku is obsessing over Vivian. It seems that Sugoroku is very impressed by very beautiful girl. So he persuades everybody to go there to cheer her. Anyway, Jyoonouchi asks him which side Sugoroku is going to cheer. Honda adds that he knows Sugoroku intend to cheer that pretty girl, Vivian. Then Sugoroku changes his feeling at once, telling his close friend, Professor Hopskins, that he, of course, will cheer his granddaughter, Rebecca-Chan. Also, he tells everybody to hurry to go there. Suddenly, Sugoroku feels hurt at his back and he then falls down on the ground. Yugi is very worried about his grandpa while Mokuba is going to call emergency department. So Professor Hopskins tells Yugi and the others to go and see Rebecca while he is taking care of Sugoroku here.

On the other side, a duelist - a fortune teller, is going into a restroom. Then Haga and Ryuusaki look after him, follow him into the restroom, beat him up and take over his cloth. Both of them plan to join this duel by this character under this outfit. Ryuusaki is carrying Haga on his shoulders.

At Blue Eyes Train Station, Vivian and Rebecca are switching to shuffle their decks. Vivian hasn't imaged her opponent a little kid like Rebecca but smart guys like Yugi and Kaiba. She dreams her love at the side of both of them when she wins the final cup. Anyway, Rebecca argues against her that lets Vivian get mad. Then Vivian tells Rebecca to try her best and hope this duel will be fun. After that, both ladies move separately to each side on train station platform. Vivan challenges Rebecca to start the duel. After the train is running pass, both of them stand by their duel disks and start the game.

Kung Fu Nyan Nyan monster card

First turn comes to Vivian, she summons Kung Fu Nyan Nyan (4/1700/1000) in an attack mode and ends her turn. Next, Rebecca plays a magic card, Charity of an Angel (Tenshi No Hodokoshi), which allows her to draw three cards and then discard two cards. Then she summons Big Bang Girl (4/1300) in an attack mode, setting two cards and ending this turn. At the same time, Yugi and the others have just reached the station. Rebecca is very glad to see her darling coming to cheer her. As she is waving her hand to Yugi, Vivian is calling Yugi and claiming that Yugi has come for her. Rebecca tries to tell her that Yugi, in fact, has come to cheer her but Vivian is obsessing over Yugi without listening. So Yugi feels very shy while Jyoonouchi and Honda feel very jealeous. At this point, Anzu stops her friends' behavior and tells Rebecca to beat definitely Vivian. Then Rebecca tells everybody not to worry about this and of course she will.

Big Bang Girl monster card

Turn is back to Vivian. She activates a special ability of Kung Fu Nyan Nyan. Without an attack while this card is in an attack mode, its attack power is 300 powered up in the next stand by phase. In previous turn, Vivian didn't let Kung Fu Nyan Nyan attacl, so its attack power is 300 powered up though. Total attack power rises to 2000 (1700+300). Summoning Master Kyonshee (Tatsujin Kyunji), she lets Kung Fu Nyan Nyan attack Big Bang Girl. Suddenly, Rebecca activates a trap card, Gravity Bind. As long as this card exists on the field, any attack of level 4 or higher monsters on both sides is invalid. Vivian is getting amazed because that means an attack of Rebecca's monster, Big Bang Girl, is sealed though. Anzu is impressed by Rebecca's performance while Otogi is considering that the players can't play high level monsters. Anyway, both Yugi believe that Rebecca is planning something else.

Turn is back to Rebecca. She activate a special ability of Mary the fallen one which she discarded this card in her previous turn. When this card exits in a graveyard, Rebecca can gain 200 LP in her stand by phase. As a result, Rebecca's LP is powered up to 4200 (4000+200). Continuously, she activates a special ability of Big Bang Girl. When a player gains LP, Big Bang Girl can deal 500 damage directly to the opponent. Accordingly, Vivian's LP is down to 3500 (4000-500). Yugi thinks that this is Rebecca's technique. Though monters don't have to attack, a player can deal damage to the opponent's LP. Setting a card, Rebecca ends her turn. Vivian is getting mad against Rebecca's strategy.

Meanwhile, Kaiba is following the duels on display. He thinks that everything seems too quiet. He's looking for that hacker who's trying to sabotage his KC Grand Prix. Suddenly, he comes up with his thought that some enemy may be among the duelists. So he orders Isona to screen the backgrounds of all duelists in this tournament.

Back to the duel, drawing a card, Vivian plays a magic card, Cyclone, which can destroy one of a magic or trap card. Certainly, She chooses to destroy Gravity Bind. Jyoonouchi is worried about Rebecca. If monsters are unsealed from their attack mode, Rebecca will be totally attacked. Suddenly, Rebecca activates another trap card, Imperial Order (Oukyuu No Shokumei). When this card is on the field, any effect of all magic cards is invalid. As a result, Cyclone can't destroy Gravity Bind. At the same, Rebecca activates a magic card Scapegoat. Jyoonouchi and Honda wonder why Scapegoat isn't destroyed either following the effect of Imperial Order. Yugi explains that Rebecca activated Scapegoat after she had played Imperial Order. So only Imperial Order was destroyed. Jyoonouchi seems to understand but he still looks a bit confused.

Vivian has realized that she can't neither play 4 or higher level monsters nor magic cards. Drawing a card, she summons Reverse Gire Panda (Gyaku Gire Panda 3/800/1600) in an attack mode. The she activates a special ability of this card. Its attack power is increased by 500 for each monster on the opponent's field. There are five monsters on Rebecca's field (Big Bang Girl + four Scapegoats), so an attack power of Reverse Gire Panda is increased up to 3300 (800+500*5). Because Reverse Gire Panda is a level 3 monster, it can attack without receiving an effect from Gravity Bind of Rebecca. Accordingly, Vivian lets Reverse Gire Panda attack a scapegoat. Another ability of Reverse Gire Panda is that when it attacks a defensing monster with defense power less than its attack power, Reverse Gire Panda can deal damage to the opponent equal to the difference. Thus, Rebecca's LP is down to 900 (4200-[3300-0]). She lost a lot of her LP because scapegoat has no defense power. Also, Reverse Gire Panda's attack power is down to 2800 (3300-500 or 800+500*4) when a scapegoat was destroyed that left four monsters on Rebecca's side.

As Otogi is thinking, Rebecca can't beat Vivian easily. Everybody wonders what Otogi means. Otogi says that she is a chosen duelist by Kaiba and he has ever heard some strory about her. She is known as a Duel Queen, Vivian Wong...

Five Colors of Colorful Dusk Goshiki No Saibo magic card

Turn is back to Vivian. She gets angry at Rebecca a lot. Then she plays a magic card, Five Colors of Colorful Dusk (Goshiki No Saibo - I am sorry for proper English word). By an effect of this card, sacrifing Kung Fu Nyan Nyan and Master Kyunji (Tatsujin Kyunji), Vivian can summon specially Dragon Lady (7/2500/2100) from her deck. Otogi wonders how this monster with level 7 can attack while an effect of Gravity Bind still exists. By its effect, it can destroy a magic or trap card in just a turn. Also using this effect can't attack in this turn. Continuously, Vivian plays another magic card, Indignation of Immortal Mountain Fairy Book (Shosen Gekifun - I am sorry for proper English words T_T), which effects to the player whom her magic or trap card was destroyed in this turn. She has to gain 1000 damage to her LP. As a result, Rebecca's LP is down to 500 (1500-1000). After that, Vivian ends her turn. She is happy because Rebecca without Gravity Bind will be defeated in the next turn.

Dragon Lady mosnter card

Back to Rebecca's turn, she gains 200 LP from Mary the fallen one in her stand by phase that lets her LP up to 700 (500+200). Then 500 damage is dealed to Vivian following by Big Bang Girl as usual. Vivian's LP is down to 400 (900-500). Anyway, as long as Rebecca can't beat Dragon Lady, Vivian can't be defeated. After that, Rebecca sacrifices Big Bang Girl to summon Joan the Guardian Angel (Shugo Tenshi Joan Angel/7/2800/2000). When Gravity Bind is destroyed, Rebecca no longer worries about level of the attacking monster. So she thanks Vivian for destroying her trap card. Vivian argues that although her Dragon is destroyed, her LP hasn't become 0 yet. So Rebecca continues her move.

Silent Decedent Mokusuru Shisha magic card

Rebecca activates a magic card, Silent Decedent (Mokusuru Shisha), which allows her to bring back a monster in a graveyard into a defense mode. As a result, Rebecca chooses to resummon Big Bang Girl. Then she lets Joan the Guardian Angel destroy Dragon Lady. Vivian's LP is down to 100 (400+2500-2800). When Joan the Guardian Angel destroys a monster, its special effect is activated. It can increase the player's LP equal to the attack power of destroyed monster. Therefore, Rebecca's LP is powered up to 3200 (700+2500 of Dragon Lady). When she gains LP, special effect of Big Bang Girl is activated continuously. It deals 500 damage directly to Vivian that lets Vivian's LP down to 0 and Vivian is finally defeated.

Everybody is glad with Rebecca's victory. Rebecca runs to see Yugi and jumps over him. She tells Vivian that Yugi belongs to her as Vivian is feeling hurt and getting furious. Then everybody moves to see the other result on display. Isona is reporting that Ethan Johnson (A cowboy) has already defeated to Paul Mc Gregor (A detective) in A block. In block B, the next duel is between Sieg VS a fortune Simon at flower clock park. Otogi tells Jyoonouchi to look after that guy who may be his next opponent. Anyway, Ryusaki and Haga who disguise as the fortune teller finally express themselves after falling down. Seeing that, Mokuba is going to disqualify both of them. However, Sieg doesn't mind dueling 2:1 at all. He looks up to the camera, thinking that he would like Kaiba to see his real power. As a result, the duel between Haga/Ryuusaki Sieg Jix begins.

Walkuren Ritt magic card

First turn comes to Haga. He summons an Leaping Grasshopper (4/1000/1200) in an attack mode. Then he plays magic card, Insecticide, to destroy this insect moster just summoned. Then he activates special of it. When Leaping Grasshopper is destroyed and sent into graveyard, Haga can specially summon an insect monster from his hand. So he selects to summon Insect Queen which can also gain additional 200 attack power, totally 2400 (2200+200). After Haga ends his turn, Ryuusaki starts summoning a dinosaur monster with 500 attack power. He plays a magic card, Super Evolution Medicine (Jyooshin Kayaku), which allows him to sacrifice a reptile type of monster on his field to summon specially another reptile type monster from his hand. As a result, Ryuusaki sacrifices his dinosaur to summon specially Black Tyrano (7/2600/1800). Both Haga and Ryuusaki summoned great mosnters in their first turns. However, Sieg looks very clam. When turn goes to him, drawing a card, he plays a magic card, Walkuren Ritt. Suddenly rose petals are flying over the battle field while four angels riding on their white horses are coming out. Then the rose petals turn into a swriling turnado and surround Haga's and Ryuusaki's monsters. When the turnado disappear, all monsters are gone as well as Haga's and Ryuusaki's LPs become 0 at a turn. As a result, Sieg wins this duel easily in a turn, looking at the camera that Kaiba is watching through. Kaiba and the others watching this duel at the same time are all surprised what was going on in the duel and what kind of card Sieg played. They are also amazed by powerful deck of Sieg. (Ability of this card hasn't been expressed yet in this episode).
