[ Epsiode 187 ] Jyoonouchi VS Mask The Rock

Fireworks are shot up to the sky and many aeroplanes release a lot of smoke to form texts representing "KC Grand Prix". This is an openning ceremory of the tournament above Kaiba Dome in Kaiba Land. Kaiba Dome in form of Blue Eyes White Dragon, is openned. It is full of a large number of audiences. The chosen duelists are standing on a stage, a duel machine, in the middle of Kaiba Dome. Jyoonouchi is very excited by the crowd. Yugi, Honda, Anzu and Otogi are sitting in the audience's seats. They are very impressed with this grand tournament. Then Otogi lets the others look at Jyoonouchi acting naughtily on the stage. While Anzu is worried about his behavior, she notices Honda doing the same thing. Honda tries to show up himself in front of a camera. As a result, Anzu has to hit him to stop his act like a child.

Suddenly, there is a lot of smoke and bright light released on the stage. A shodow of Mokuba appears on a rising stage. Then Mokuba represents himself like a host to address grand openning of KC Grand Prix. While people are cheering up with loud noise, Mokuba continues his speech. He explains the rule of this tournament. The chosen duelists from all over the world are divided into two groups, Block A and B. The winner of those matches will go to duel against a champion of Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, Mutou Yugi. Yugi is like a defending champion, so he merely sits on a audience's seat. Yugi is getting shy when his name is announced, and everybody and a camera are focusing at him. Jyoonouchi, Leon, Vivian and Rebecca, standing on the stage, also look at Yugi who is their final target. After that, Mokuba starts matching the duelists by computer system. On screen, the first match is set randomly. Jyoonouchi VS Mask The Rock is the first duel in Block A. Seeing an old guy in a mask, Jyoonouchi tells Mask The Rock to reveal his face if he can beat him. He is also very glad to be the first duel of this game. On the other side, Yugi looks worried about Mask The Rock because he can guess easily who he is. In block B, the result of the computer is a match between Leon Wilson VS Dr. Richard Goat. Yugi is glad to see Leon in his first great game while Anzu is calling Leon and cheerings him up. That lets Leon turn back to see her and his face later becomes red.

Continuously, Mokuba invites Yugi to show up himself in front of the audiences. So Yugi stands up and starts walking slowing from his seat slowly while people are all calling his name Yugi! Yugi !. Getting a little bit shy and no idea how he should act, Yugi waves his hand to the big crowd blushingly. Anyway, Mokuba tells him that no one can see Yugi acting there. Thus, he invites Yugi come up to the stage. Walking up to the stage awkwardly, Yugi waves his hand to the audience again. Suddenly, Blue Eyes White Dragon Jet is flying over Kaiba Dome while Kaiba is jumping down from there. He lands down by his small jet on his back upon the stage, taking a microphone from Mokuba and starts giving a speech. Kaiba encourages the chosen duelists to fight with proud and great act. That movitates the crowd to start calling Kaiba! Kaiba!. Jyoonouchi is looking mad at Kaiba while Jeek is also glaring at him. Anyway, Kaiba is thinking another person who hasn't showed up here yet, getting worried about that guy.

Then Isona, Kaiba's servant, shows up to give an explanation about the game. He says that this tournament stages cover throughout Kaiba Land. Block A stage is at Amezon Curise theme while Block B stage is at Roller Coaster theme. Also, he tells the duelists to stand by on their stages at once. Yugi sees Leon expressing himself on a screen and moving straight to see his opponent, Dr. Richard Goat with two following nurses, at a greenfield surrounded by Roller Coaster. Dr.Richard and Leon switch their decks, shuffle them and return them to each other. Leon is feeling weired by Dr.Richard who orders the nurse to clean up his sweat. When both of them turn back to their positions, they stand by their duel disks and start the the game.

On the other side, Mask The Rock is waiting for his opponent, Jyoonouchi, at Amezon stage. Both Yugi have no doubt about the real appearance of that mysterious guy. Then everybody has just noticed that Jyoonouchi isn't on screen. Wondering what is going on to Jyoonouchi, everybody sees Jyoonouchi eating hotdogs and walking pass in from of him or her. Mokuba is very shocked why Jyoonouchi has remained here because he should have been ready at Amezon stage at this time. However, Jyoonouchi looks very calm. He asks whether his friends would like to shear his hotdog. Seeing that, Mokuba is blaming him and explaining the rule of this game. A player will get a bye when 10 mins pass and his opponent doesn't show up on schedule. Also, Mokuba blames Jyoonouchi who should have acted more like a senior duelist. Anyway, Jyoonouchi tries to stay calmly and thinks that he can reach there on time in 10 mins. Mokuba tells him back that Jyoonouchi may not reach there, Amezon cruise, on time in 10 mins. As a result, Jyoonouchi stops listening to Mokuba, starts running as fas as he can to his battle stage. Honda, Anzu, Yugi and Otogi are following Jyoonouchi as well. Everbody takes a small boat, floating along Amezon river theme park. Honda looks at a map and points to where he should land and continue his way. Jyoonouchi hurries too much until he is aware of a trap hole. So he falls down there. Honda tells him to be more careful. Then Jyoonouchi's journey in the jungle continues. He has to go across a shaky bridge with many crocodiles below, face a rolling stone like an Indian Jones and see many wild animals like bats and a snake. At the same time, the others are looking after him and following his way. Then Otogi tells Jyoonouchi that there is 20 seconds left, so Jyoonouchi increases his speed and runs as fast as he can to reach his stage on time.At the exit of this jungle, Mask The Rock has already been waiting for him...

Wandering Mummy (Samayou Miira) monster card

When both Mask The Rock and Jyoonuchi finish their standing by, they start the game. First turn comes to Jyoonouchi. He summons Landostart with 500 attack power in an attack mode, sets up two cards and ends his turn. Turn switches to Mask The Rock. He also sets up two cards. Then he summons Wandering Mummy (Samayou Miira) with 1500 attack power in an attack mode and ends his turn. Turn is back to Jyoonouchi. He summons Little Winguard with 1400 attack power in an attack mode. Contineously, he lets Landostar attack directly Wandering Mummy. At this point, Honda tries to warn Jyoonouchi about his bad move. Anyway, Jyoonouchi tells him to shut up because he knows what he is going to do. As a result, Jyoonouchi plays a magic card, Angel's Dice (Tenshi No Cycolo), to increase attack power of his monter following a number of the dice. Suddenly, Sugoroku activates his trap card, Legendary Gambler (Densetsu No Gambler). Another dice is tossed from this trap card and it hits Angel's Dice of Jyoonouchi. Mask The Rock explains that this card can be played when the opponent is playing a dice card. If a player can get higher number than his opponent gets, the opponent's effect of his dice card is invalid. Jyoonouchi gets 4 from his toss while Mask The Rock gets six. As a result, an effect of Angel's dice is invalid.

Legendary Gambler (Densetsu No Gambler) trap card

Landostart has no increased power. However, Jyoonouchi continues playing another magic card, Evil's Dice (Akuma No Cycolo), to decrease attack power of the opponent's monster. Anyway, it seems that Mask The Rock have better luck than has Jyoonouchi. He gets number 6 from his toss again while Jyoonouchi gets number 5. Thus attack power of Wandering Mummy isn't decreased. Finally, Landostar of Jyoonouchi is destroyed that lets Jyoonouchi's LP down to 3000 (4000-1500+500). Jyoonouchi can do nothing else. So he puts Little Winguard into a defense mode in his end phase and ends his turn.

Illusory Nightmare (Akumu No Shinkitou) magic card

Move is back to Mask The Rock. He activates a trap card, Absolutely Evil Region (Zettai Fuka Shicyoo Iki - I am sorry for proper English). Discarding a card into a graveyard to play this card in a stand by phase, Mask The Rock can stop Jyoonouchi to summon or set his cards normally and specially in the next turn. Contineously, he plays a magic card, Illusory Nightmare (Akumu No Shinkitou). At the opponent's stand phase, Mask The Rock can draw additional cards until he has four cards on hand. Also, in Mask The Rock's stand by phase, he has to discard cards by the same number of cards he drew. Placing down a card, Mask The Rock ends his turn. Yami Yugi understands how great his grandpa is. Also, little Yugi knows that his grandpa is greater than he is playing now.

Then turn is back to Jyoonouchi. After Jyoonouchi draws card, Mask The Rock activates an ability of Illusory Nightmare in the opponent's stand by phase. He has one card left on hand, so he draws additional 3 cards to reach 4 cards on hand. Jyoonouchi says that Mask The Rock has to discard those cards in the next turn. Anyway, Mask The Rock doesn't have to do that because his play of a magic card, Emergency Meal (Hijyoo Shoku). When a player sends a magic card or a trap into his graveyard, he can gain 1000 LP per card discarded. As a result, Mask The Rock sends Illusory Nightmare into his graveyard that lets his LP up to 5000 (4000+1*1000). Also, he doesn't have to discard any card into a graveyard in his next turn because Illusory Nightmare has already gone. While Jyoonouchi is getting more furious, he is going to summon a monster. However, Mask The Rock reminds Jyoonouchi of the effect of Absolutely Evil Region which stops Jyoonouchi from summonning a monster normally or specially. Accordingly, Jyoonouchi has to end his turn.

Anciently Giant Man (Initiate No Kyoojin) monster card

Back to Mask The Rock, he plays a field magic card, Initiated Town - Ancient City (Initiate No Miyako Ancient City). A large temple appears on the field. Contineously, sacrificing a monster, Wandering Mummy, Mask The Rock summons Anciently Giant Man (Initiate No Kyoojin 5/2200/1100). Then he plays another magic card, Ancient Key (Initiate No Kagi). Then a ring key appears to unlock a gate on the temple. By effect of this magic card, Mask The Rock can summon specially two Anciently Giant Man Tokens with 400 attack each. Mask The Rock lets the first Anciently Giant Man destroy Winguard and then lets the other two attack directly Jyoonouchi. Thus, Jyoonouchi's LP is down to 2200 (3000 - 2*800). Setting a card, Mask The Rock ends his turn.

Everybody is very amazed by such a great performance of Mask The Rock that lets Jyoonouchi be in much trouble. The game has still running...
