[ Epsiode 185 ] KC Grand Prix Opening

After such a cruel battle against Doom, a new and fresh day is back. Everybody is sleeping in a resident vehicle. Then Rebecca bangs a pan to wake him up while Anzu is coming in. Jyoonouchi is frightened and asks why she woke him. Anzu asks him back for how long Jyoonouchi intended to sleep. Jyoonouchi feels very tired from the last battle and he needs some rest. Rebecca starts looking for Yugi, asking the others for her darling. They have just realized that Yugi isn't at his bed. Outside, Yugi has already got up. He is walking around there and finally reaches the lake. Also, he feels very great this morning. Yami Yugi comes out beside him and talks to him. He can't forget what occurred to the last duel against Doom, especially the story about duel monsters and sorrow of little Yugi. Little Yugi says that after going back to Japan, it is time to recover Yami Yugi's memory. Then little Yugi takes out three god cards and keeps talking. Although, he can't image what will happen next, he won't forget whatever, sad or happy events, happened because it is very important to him.

Suddenly, Rebecca and Anzu are walking towards him. Anzu is calling Yugi have breakfast while Rebecca is calling her darling and then jumping over little Yugi until both of them fall down. Rebecca is very worried when little Yugi disappeared, so little Yugi says sorry about it. Seeing that, Anzu is getting furious. Anyway, she tries difficultly to hide her emotion and tells both of them to go back and have breakfast.

Later, everybody is ready for breakfast on a picnic table and then he or she starts the meal. Professor Hopskin asks what Yugi is going to do next. Yugi says that he has to return Japan. Hearing that, Rebecca feels upset. She thinks that he should stay here for a period. Otogi agrees with her. He thinks that everybody needs some rest and he can lead this tour. Honda and Jyoonouchi seem to be happy to have a trip in America. Suddenly, a phone rings, so Professor Hopskin leaves the table and goes to get his call. While talking, he seems to get amazed by something. The others continue the conversation what they should do after this time. They know that they should go back to Japan for Yami Yugi. While everybody is getting serious, Yami Yugi talks to little Yugi in his mind. There is no longer worry about god cards. Thus, Yami Yugi agrees to have fun for a short time. As a result, everybody turns to be happy again and starts arranging the trip. After the meal, he and she are having some rest near the lake. Otogi is lying on a hammock. Jyoonouchi and Honda are lying on chairs, talking about where to go. Sitting straight to the lake, Rebecca is holding little Yugi's arm and offering him some attractions while Anzu is sitting and watching them on a table with bad mood. Then, Otogi asks for how long everybody intends to stay and how is about his or her flight to go back. At this point, everybody has just realized that he or she has no idea how to go back. He came to America by Pegasus's flight and didn't think about returning flight. Jyoonouchi is getting worried about the flight fees. Rebecca tells little Yugi that he can stay here forever. Hearing that, little Yugi's face becomes red. Anzu tries to interrupt both of them and makes the point about the school where they have to go back.

Then a helicopter of Kaiba Corporation has just reached there. Mokuba gets out off the plane and joins the story. He agrees to take everybody home only if he or she participates in a new tournament called KC Grand Prix. Also, he lets them know about KC coming project and Kaiba Land in process. Kaiba is managing to repurchase all of the stocks that Doom purchased from KC. However, this project is difficult to run because people have lost reliability on Kaiba Corporation after Doom's act. Also, KC's stock prices have been down since then. As a result, Kaiba plans to create a tournament as a business strategy to regenerate positive attitute of people to KC. This tournament, KC Grand Prix, will be held with the grand openning of Kaiba Land in America. Fot this purpose, Kaiba really needs top-level duelist like Yugi participate in this tournament. Mokuba has come to see everybody personally to invite him to join the game. Anyway, Jyoonouchi and Honda seem to be unplease with this act. They feel that they are going to act for KC's advertisement, and wonder why Kaiba wouldn't have come this long to invite them by himself. Mokuba says that everything isn't as they are thinking. His brother is very busy with a lot of work. He is so busy that he can't even join this tournament. Yugi is surprised how Kaiba is so busy that he can't even join such a duel. However, Jyoonouchi hasn't stopped his tease yet. He thinks that Kaiba avoids the duel because he is afraid of defeat to Yugi and that may let KC look worse. Hearing that, Mokuba is getting angry. He argues that his brother isn't a loser. At this time, his brother has to play a hard role as a CEO of the company over his real desire as a duelist. Everything that he is doing is to fulfill the dream of Kaiba Land. As a result, Anzu blames Jyoonouchi for what he said too much. Jyoonouchi has just understood Kaiba's tough situation. Continue talking, Mokuba adds that there will be many duelists invited from all over the world coming and joining this tournament. Everybody is looking for the title of a duel king. Both Yugi agree to join this tournament. Thinking about facing against various duelists from all over the world, little Yugi feels very excited and happy with this game. Also, Jyoonouchi and Rebecca with the title of USA champion agree to attend this game with Yugi. So Mokuba gives three of them invitation cards. This is what he has expected.

On the other side at a castle, a guy with long and pink hair is having a bath in a tub while someone is playing a harp. Then a servant comes in and reports his master that there is a mail coming in. So the guy gets up from the tub, having a long robe and going outside the corridor of the castle. He starts his computer and reads the information about KC Grand Prix. Also, he thinks that Kaiba may haven't realized yet that this tournament will be a point to let KC down not a point to make it succeed. Then he picks up a flower, smells it and finally throws it in front of his computer display with Kaiba's picture. The petals are spreading around...

Getting into the park, Yugi and his friends see most concept of this park full of duel monster themes. Then Mokuba leads them to the tournament stage, Kaiba Dome. There inside is such a large arena. Also, there is a duel machine in the middle and a child dueling against a computer system. The boy is letting his monster attack Blade Knight. Then the computer activates a magic card, scape goats. When turns is back to it, it plays a trap card, DNA Tranformation (Sorry for proper English T_T), which can change all monsters on the field into a race that a player wants. As a result, the computer chooses a dragon race. Then all monsters of both sides are changed into dragons. Continuously, the computer plays a fusion card to fuse its five dragons and summons Five of Dragons with 5000 attack power. While everybody is amazed, Mokuba explains that the computer system is programmed by various duel styles, skills and levels. It gathers data from many duelists even Jyoonouchi. Honda hardly believes that such a Jyoonouchi's deck was also programmed because it usually depends on luck. That lets Jyoonouchi get mad. Everybody seems to enjoy with this system. After Five of Dragons attack, the boy loses easily. His friends think that he might choose too high level. Suddenly, the children are all surprised when they see the king of Duelist Kingdom, Mutou Yugi, and the America Champion, Rebecca. They run over to both of them and ask for autographs. A little boy named Leon introduces himself and asks Yugi for shaking hand. Then Jyoonouchi asks whether they know Jyoonouchi Katsuya, the best four of Battle City. It is pity that no one knows him. Then a boy comes up, shows Yugi his deck and asks for his comment. His deck is full of dragons because he really like them. Seeing this deck, Yugi, Rebecca and Jyoonouchi share the same feeling of unbalance. Rebecca says that she understands the boy's feeling to his favourite dragon, but this deck contains bad balance. The boy seems to get upset. So Yugi tries to keep him up. If the boy really likes the cards, his deck will become stonger. Then Yugi gives him a card. The boy looks very happy, however he notices that it isn't a dragon card. Yugi says that though it isn't a dragon card, it is very helpful to the dragons. The boy would like to test it, so he takes it up to the duel machine and prepares for the next duel. He sets up a program by choosing an easy level, Level 2. At the same time, the guy with pink and long hair inside the castle is trying to take over the computer system from long distance. Suddenly the light in Kaiba Dome is gone and duel machine is stopped. Mokuba feels weired and tried to call for help. Anyway, only the duel machine starts running again while all the exits are shut down. Mokuba doesn't understand what is going on to the system. Then Rebecca connects her laptop with the duel machine to detect the system. She found that the exits will be opened again when the computer system is defeated. Also, someone hacked into the system and reset the program up to the maximum level, Level 5. The computer starts the game. It summons Berserk Gorilla with 2000 attack power and ends its turn. The boy starts crying with fear. Everybody is worried about how the boy with an unbalanced dragon deck can win the computer with the highest level. As a resut, Yami Yugi comes out and jumps up to the duel machine of the boy. He asks for the boy's name. The boy tells him that his name is Rick. Yami Yugi has come to help and win this duel to open the exits. The opponent of the computer is changed to Yugi now...
