[ Epsiode 180 ] The Third Seal of Orichalcos

A counter shield (Geigeki No Tate) trap card

Finally, Dartz activates the third Seal of Orichalcos called Orichalcos Toritosu. The third Orichalcos ring is covering the battle field around two Orichalcos rings. By the effect of the second Orichalcos, Orichalcos Deuterosu which can increase a player's LP by 500 to a monster on the field, Dartz's LP is up to 18500 (15500+6*500). Then Dartz lets Orichalcos Diablos (2000) attack Twilight Zone Dragon (1400). By Orichalcos Diablos'special effect, defensing Twilight Zone Dragon of Kaiba is forced to alter into an attack mode. Suddenly, Kaiba is activating a magic card. However, the magic card is destroyed by a special effect of Orichalcos Toritosu, which renders magic and trap cards harmless to Dartz's monsters. Then Orichalcos Diablos directly attacks Twilight Zone Dragon. At the same time, Yugi activates a trap card, a counter shield (Geigeki No Tate). Sacrificing Big Shield Guardner, Yugi can increase attack power of Twilight Zone Dragon by defense power of Big Shield Guardner (2600). As a result, Twilight Dragon's attack power is up to 4000 (1400+2600). Having greater power, Twilight Dragon counterattacks by Rainbow Blaster and finally destroys Orichalcos Diablos. Anyway, Dartz hasn't lost any LP because Orichalcos Kitora absorbs the entire damage. His turn hasn't been over yet. Sacrificing Big Shield Guardner, Yugi has no monster left on his field to protect himself. So Dartz lets the four mirror knights with 500 attack power each directly attack Yugi. Little Yugi attacks first. Then Mai and Jyoonouchi follow him. Pegasus is the last one. While being attacked, Yugi uses his duel disk block Pegasus's strike. Pegasus tries to talk to Yugi, asking him about the blank card he gave Yugi at Pegasus's company (Episode 154). That is a key card regarding to the queen of the legendary dragons. Seeing that Pegasus stops his attack, Dartz orders him to keep on striking. Thus Pegasus slashes Yugi that brings Yugi's LP down to 1500 (3500-4*500). Yugi tells everybody not to worry about him. He also thinks about the blank card of Pegasus. Anyway, he didn't put the card in his deck. Then Dartz faces down a card and ends his turn. He tells Kaiba that this turn will be his final draw.

Turn is back to Kaiba. Kaiba's LP is merely 600 left. He knows the key card that can save him. Seeing up to the stone tablet of Amelda, Kaiba reminds himself of the duel against him. Amelda would like to see how far Kaiba can protect his brother. In order to protect his brother, Kaiba didn't given up, no matter what. Then Kaiba gets back his spirit and draws a key card, Critias. Kaiba activates Critias and combines it with a face-down card of Yugi, Mirror Force. Finally, he creates a new monster, Mirror Force Dragon (2800). Kaiba's target is Pegasus. He lets Mirror Force Dragon directly attack Mirror Knight Pegasus. Suddenly, Pegasus puts up his shield to reflect the attack back to Mirror Force Dragon. This is what Kaiba is waiting for. Kaiba activates special ability of the dragon, countering the attack of all of Dartz's monsters. Everbody concerns about the spirits of their friends while Kaiba intends to duel by his heart of duelist. Mirror Force Dragon's counterattack destroys all four Mirror Knights while Kaiba is stopping Yugi to get in. Little Yugi and Pegasus seem to be glad with this attack. Then all of them are free from the duel and Orichalcos Kitora absorbs Dartz's damage. Kaiba tells Dartz that he has no monster to protect himself anymore. Dartz says that it is unlikely. After that Orichalcos Kitora is shinging and expressing some great power. It is transforming into a huge monster despite of Yugi and Kaiba's amaze.

Orichalcos Shinoras Monster Card

Finally Oricalcos Kitora changes into the final form, Orichalcos Shinoras with 20000 attack power equal to total damage it absorbed. Everbody is amazed by such great power. Dartz asks how they feel that this monster was created from their own hatred. Sacrificing Orichalcos Kitora, a player can specially summon Orichalcos Shinoras. Shinoros's attack points are decreased by the number of monsters that attack it. Then Dartz activates its special ability. When Orichalcos Shinoras is summonned, it generates Orichalcos Dekshia (Right Arm) and Orichalcos Aisteros (Left Arm). As long as Orichalcos Shinoras is on the field, Orichalcos Dekshia and Orichalcos Aisteros can't be destroyed. Their defense and attack points are always more than any other monsters' by 300 points. Also, they are always the first targets. When these two are activated, their points are taken out of Orichalcos Shinoros's attack power. They are ultimate shields and swords of Dartz.

Curse of Martyrdom Master (Jyunkyoosha No Noroi) trap card

Continuing his turn, Dartz activates a trap card, Curse of Martyrdom Master (Jyunkyoosha No Noroi) which is activated when a card is destroyed. It seals a special ability of the opponent's monster and forcefully initiates battle with one of Dartz's monsters. As a resut, Dartz chooses Mirror Force Dragon. In other words, Mirror Force Dragon's special ability will not work against Shinoros. Accordingly, Dartz lets Orichalcos Shinoras directly attack Mirror Force Dragon. Finally, Mirror Force Dragon is destroyed and damage deals to Kaiba that results his LP down to 0. Before Kaiba is falling down, he activates a trap card, Hope of Desperation (Kesshi No Kibou). When a monsters is destroyed, it can increase a player's LP by the attack power of that monster. Thus, Kaiba uses it increase Yugi's LP up to 4300 (1500 + 2800). Mokuba is screaming his brother's name and trying to get into the Seal of Orichalcos. Lastly, Kaiba's soul is takend and sealed into the stone tablet on a wall. Dartz flinks his finger to control Kaiba's body and throws him outside the Seal of Orichalcos. Mokuba is crying and asking his brother open his eyes. He tells Dartz to return his brother. At the same time, the hall is shaking. Black cloud and lightening storm spread across the earth. Something in a form of a great serpent is moving under the sea. Otogi, Rebecca and Professor Hopskin also wonder what is going on now in the world. Suddenly, there is something in a form of a big eye appearing behind Dartz. It launches waves throughout the hall, knocking everbody outside the Seal of Orichalcos. Yugi much concerns about his friends. Anyway, Dartz tells him not to worry. Their souls are still safe. Also, Yugi has no friend left anymore.

"Justice is in the name of god...Obelisk"

When there is nobody, Dartz decides to tell Yugi the reason why he decides to destroy the world. He says that the answer has already been in nameless Pharaoh. Yugi wonders how much Dartz knows about his past. Then Dartz lead Yugi back to an ancient Egypt 3,000 years ago. Both of them is moving into the royal palace. Yugi is amazed when he sees the event that the priest Seto and Pharaoh are fighting against Diabound (Comic episode 288-289. Please read the full summaries and see full scans of those episodes in my comic section). Pharaoh Yugi is activating a millennium puzzle to summon Obelisk and controlling it to attack Diabound. Continously, Dartz shows Yugi another scenes when Yugi with his Osiris is riding his horse and chasing the thief Bakura with his Diabound (Comic episode 299-300. Please read the full summaries and see full scans of those episodes in my comic section). While Pharaoh Yugi is riding through the village, there is a shadow of Dartz as a villager there. Dartz is watching Pharoah riding pass with Osiris. Then the scenes move to another scene with the burning village. Yugi seems to get confused about this situation a little bit. Dartz explains that the seal of the duel monsters was broken in Egypt 3,000 years ago. That brought them to exist in darkness. Then the powerful souls having power of darkness were all resurrected and driven forth by Yami Yugi's coursed soul. Yugi is very amazed by this story. Dartz tells him that Yami Yugi's desnity can't avoid from darkness. It always surrounds the cused king. Dartz hopes that the 10,000 year history will terminate soon by sacrificatioin of Pharaoh's soul....

[ Dartz ]	Now Seto...this will be your last draw!
[ Kaiba ]	thinking: It's as Dartz says...my life is only 600! In this turn, I have to make my stand...or I will most certainly be destroyed! Me...lose in a place like this?? ...Amelda...
[flashback to duel with Amelda]
[ Amelda ]	You...you said you could save your brother? Can you really save him? Your brother?
[ Kaiba ]	Save?
[ Amelda ]	Then show me! End turn!]
[back to present]
[ Kaiba ]	thinking: Amelda...the future you entrusted in me...And my own road to glory! I refuse to have those destroyed here!) Open your eyes and behold...! My duel! My turn...draw! (laughing) It has come...the trump card within my deck! Come! Legendary Dragon, Critias!
[ Dartz ]	Critias!
[ Kaiba ]	Yugi...that face down card that you can't activate...if I'm not mistaken, it is the Sacred Barrier, Mirror Force!
	I will awaken that power! Critias! Fuse with the Sacred Barrier Mirror Force! Come forth! Mirror Force Dragon!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Mirror Force Dragon!
[ Kaiba ]	Yugi...so long as those Mirror Knights are on the field, victory will never come to us!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Kaiba!
[ Kaiba ]	If severing the bonds of friendship is beyond your will, I will do it! Mirror Force Dragon - attack Mirror Knight Pegasus! Mirror Burst!
[ Honda ]	It's no use! Pegasus still has his mirror shield!
[ Mokuba ]	No, my brother attacked the one with the shield on purpose!
[ Kaiba ]	Exactly! Activate Mirror Force Dragon's special ability!
[ Honda ]	The attack that was reflected back...
[ Mokuba ]	Mirror Force Dragon is absorbing it!
[ Kaiba ]	Mirror Force Dragon's special ability...it absorbs any attack and reflects it back to all the monsters on the opponent's field!
[ Yami Yugi ]	What??
[ Anzu ]	Then...everybody will...
[ Dartz ]	Your friends, then...you plan to...
[ Kaiba ]	The so-called "heart of darkness" that you speak of...you have shown this to Mokuba and I for long enough! The depths beyond the depths of the heart of darkness we didn't want to see! We have overcome all of this and have come this far! What is in my heart...is the light that will carve out our future! That is all we need!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Kaiba...
[ Kaiba ]	[pointing to Mirror knights] If they are True Duelists, they should have no regrets when they fall...! Strike everything down! Mirror Force Dragon! Genocide Big Bang!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Aibou! Everyone!
[ Little Yugi ]	It's ok...this is as it should be...
[ Pegasus ]	Kaiba boy...thanks!
[ Dartz ]	I see...it looks like I have underestimated you, Seto. However, any damage to me will be absorbed by Orichalcos Kitora's special ability before it is destroyed.
[ Yami Yugi ]	Everyone...
[ Kaiba ]	Now all his monsters have been destroyed.
[ Dartz ]	Are you sure about that? Orichalcos Kitora, show your true self!
[ Yami Yugi ]	What is that...?
[eyecatch]
[ Kaiba ]	That is...??
[ Dartz ]	This is Orichalcos Kitora's true form...Orichalcos Shunoros!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Orichalcos...Shunoros??
[ Dartz ]	Its attack power totals all the damage absorbed by Orichalcos Kitora. And so its attack power is..
[ Kaiba ]	20,000??
[ Yami Yugi ]	Impossible!
[ Anzu ]	It can't be!
[ Honda ]	That's messed up!
[ Dartz ]	Why are you surprised? It is you who created this monster...with your hatred!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Our hatred?
[ Dartz ]	Shunoros's attack points are decreased by the number of monsters that attack it. I activate its special ability! Come forth...Orichalcos Dekshia! Orichalcos Arisuteros! Orichalcos Dekshia...cannot be destroyed so long as Shunoros is on the field, and its attack and defense points will always be 300 more than any monster attacking it. It is Shunoros's ultimate sword! Orichalcos Arisuteros cannot be destroyed so long as Shunoros is on the field, and its defense points will always be 300 more than any monster attacking it. It will always take an attack in battle. It is Shunoros's ultimate shield! When these two are activated, their points will be taken out of Shunoros's attack power.
[ Yami Yugi ]	However...Shunoros is in the position such that it can't be attacked unless the 2 monsters in front are destroyed first.
[ Dartz ]	I also activate my trap card, Curse of the Martyr! This card is activated when one of my cards has been destroyed. It seals an enemy monster's special ability, and forcefully initiates battle with one of my monsters! The monster I choose is of course...Mirror Force Dragon! Mirror Force Dragon's special ability will not work against Shunoros. This is truly the end, Seto! Orichalcos Shunoros's attack!
[Mirror Force Dragon destroyed, Kaiba's points down to zero]
[ Mokuba ]	Brother!
[ Yami Yugi ]	Kaiba!
[ Kaiba ]	Activate...trap...Final Hope...this card activates when my monster is destroyed, and transfers that monster's attack points to...restore...life...

[ Yami Yugi ]	Kaiba! Kaiba!
[ Mokuba ]	Brother! Brother!
[ Kaiba ]	Now...I have repaid my debt...you must press on, over...my remains...
[ Yami Yugi ]	Kaiba!
[ Dartz ]	Seto...you shall be sacrificed to my God! An empty shell - is useless!
[ Mokuba ]	Brother! Open your eyes...brother! Please!
[ Dartz ]	No matter how much you cry out, your voice will never reach Seto! His soul is no longer there.
[ Mokuba ]	Damn you...give me back my brother's soul!
[ Dartz ]	(laughing)
[ Yami Yugi ]	What's happening?
[ Dartz ]	Can you hear it? My God laughs as he rejoices in Seto's sacrifice!
[ Mokuba ]	I won't let you use my brother soul as a sacrifice!
[Dartz blasts everyone unconscious]
[ Dartz ]	Rest assured...the souls of your friends are fine. But now...you no longer have anyone to watch over you.
[ Yami Yugi ]	Dartz!
[ Dartz ]	At this final hour, I will tell you...why I decided to destroy this world. The reason resides in you, Nameless Pharaoh!
[ Yami Yugi ]	What?
[ Dartz ]	The whole reason lies in your resurrection, after 3000 years!
[ Yami Yugi ]	You...do you know my lost memories?
[flashback to Egypt]
[ Pharaoh ]	This is...an ancient Egyptian city! That is...myself, 3,000 years ago!
[ Priest Seto ]	You shall pay for defiling this holy temple!
[ Pharaoh ]	Everyone, stand back! Justice can be found in the name of the Gods. God...that is...Obelisk! Take this! God Hand Crash!]
[ Pharaoh ]	A battle like this...!
[ Dartz ]	3000 years ago, the seal of Duel Monsters was broken in ancient Egypt, bringing together those whose hearts were steeped in darkness! If such darkness will come to pass in this world once more, than I must - as I did 10,000 years ago in Atlantis - resurrect the God of Orichalcos, and destroy this world! That is because that is this world's destiny!
[ Pharaoh ]	This is...the vision of ancient Egypt that my Millenium Puzzle revealed to me!
[ Dartz ]	But at that time...those who were steeped in darkness fought and destroyed one another!
[ Pharaoh ]	We were...destroyed...!?
[ Dartz ]	But then...3000 years later, an alarming event...! Those powerful souls, which possessed the ability to manipulate the darkness - they were all resurrected! Driven forth by your cursed souls...!
[ Pharaoh ]	My ... cursed soul??
[ Dartz ]	Why, Nameless Pharaoh? ...Why have you come back, after all this time??
[ Pharaoh ]	That is...
[ Dartz ]	The answer can only be...that you will be the one to bring an end to humanity! It is because you are the loathsome king who bears that destiny!
[ Pharaoh ]	What..!??
[ Dartz ]	Nameless Pharaoh, the darkness will forever surround you. Yes, it is you, who are the root of all darkness! This 10,000 year history will terminate now, with the sacrifice of your soul!
