[ Epsiode 179 ] The Captive Mirror Knights

Raphael is riding his motorcycle up to the top of Doma tower while Isona, Kaiba's servant, is looking at watch and thinking about why time has been taken so long.

Back to the duel. Yugi remains 3500 LP, Kaiba remains 3000 while Dartz remains 10000. Everbody is very amazed by the mirror knights which are the souls of their friends. Kaiba asks Dartz what this means. Dartz tells him that his friends'souls were tranferred into the mirror knights. No matter what, he has to get Kaiba's and Yugi's souls and sacrifice them to his god. Then Dartz lets the mirror knight little Yugi attack nameless Pharaoh. However, little Yugi starts trembling because he tries to resist the Dartz's order. Rising up his sword, little's hand is shaking. Dartz realizes that he may not fully control little Yugi. Anyway, he enjoys seeing a lot for how long little Yugi will have resisted. That lets Yugi very mad. As a result, Dartz faces down a card and ends his turn.

Cost Down Magic Card

Turn is back to Kaiba. Drawing a card, he thinks that without Descent of Mirror Knight, the mirror knights can no longer regenerate their shields. After that, he plays a jar of greed to draw additional 2 cards. Suddenly, he activates a magic card, Cost Down, which can decrease level of a monter by two stars when a player discards a card into his cemetry. Discarding a card, Kaiba summons Twilight Zone Dragon in an attack mode (5 stars is down to 3 stars). He prepares Kaiser Glider (2400/2200) to attack the mirror knight Kujyaku Mai. Everbody is shocked if he is serious. Yugi tries to stop Kaiba while Kaiba asks him back whether Yugi doesn't understand the situation. If Yugi loses here, he can't save people's souls even can't keep promise with Black Magician Girl. Suddenly, Kaiba lets Kaiser Glider attack the mirror knight Kujyaku Mai. Mai's shield is destroyed. Meanwhile, everbody is worried about the following attack that may destroy Mai's soul. Continously, Kaiba lets Twilight Zone Dragon attack Mai without any protect while Yugi is screaming to stop. However, Jyoonouchi comes to the front to protect Mai by his shield. So his shield is destroyed. Dartz really enjoys about deep link among friends. Setting a faced down card, Kaiba ends his turn.

Turn has come to Yugi. Kaiba guides Yugi to attack Mai and Jyoonouchi who have no shield to defend themselves. Yugi reminds himself of his memory with Jyoonouchi, Mai, Pegasus and little Yugi. Thinking about it, Yugi can't continue attacking his friends. So he ends his turn by doing nothing that lets Kaiba mad. Honda is very angry at Dartz and tells him to do a fair play. Anzu understands that as long as friends are on the field, Yugi can't do anything.

Two Archers Kantauros (Soukyuu No Kentauros) Magic Card

Back to Dartz's turn, he draws a card. By the effect of Orichalos Deuterosu, the second Seal of Orichalcos, Dartz's LP is up to 12500 (1000+500*5 : 500 point to a monster on his field in his main phase : he has Orichalcos Kyutora and four mirror knights). Then he plays a magic card, Two Archers Kantauros(Soukyuu No Kentauros). A Kentauros with two bodies and one bottom part like a horse appears on the field. One side is aiming its bow to Kaiser Glider of Kaiba and another on is aiming to a mirror knight Jyoonouchi. Kentauros will choose only one side for its target. Also, it can destroy a monster and deals damage directly to a player by the attack power of the monster it attacks.Either Jyoonouchi or Kaiba will be strongly attacked in this turn. Dartz says that he would like to see the destiny of Kaiba and Jyoonouchi. After Dartz starts his sign, fire is lit at Kentauros aiming straight to Kaiba. Dartz tells him that this destiny chose Kaiba. As a result, Kentauros releases its arrow to destroy Kaiser Glider and directly deal damage to Kaiba. So Kaiba's LP is down to 600 (3000-2400 of Kaiser Glider). Playing this card, Dartz can't let the other monsters attack. Accordingly, he ends his turn.

Turn is back to Kaiba. Getting angry from the attack, he lets Twilight Zone Dragon attack Jyoonouchi. Yugi is screaming because Jyoonouchi can't protect himself. Suddenly, everybody is surprised again when he or she sees that little Yugi comes out to protect Jyoonouchi by his shield. Dartz laughs and enjoys such a wonderful friendship.

Turn comes to Yugi. Drawing a card, Yugi activates a magic card, Cyclone (Mystical Space Typhoon in English version - having ability to destroy a magic card), to destroy Two Archers Kenaturo. Then he ends his turn.

Barrier of Conducting the attack (Kougeki Yuudou Barrier) Trap Card

So Dartz starts his move. He summons Orichalcos Diablos 2000 (1500+500). At this point, Dartz's LP is up to 15500 (12500+500*6 [Orichalcos Kyutora, four mirror knights and Orichalcos Diablos]) by the effect of Orichalos Deuterosu. Mokuba is worried about his brother. If Kaiba is attacked this time, his LP will go to 0. Suddenly, Dartz lets Orichalcos Diablos (2000) attack Twilight Zone Dragon (1400) while Mokuba is screaming his brother's name. At this point, Kaiba activates a trap card, Barrier of Conducting the attack (Kougeki Yuudou Barrier), which can transfer the attack to a defending monster and let its power rise by 600. Kaiba crosses his eyes to Yugi while Yugi is reponsing to his signal. He transfers the attack to Big Shield Guarder of Yugi with 3200 defense power (2600+600). Anyway, Dartz gets no damage because Orichalcos Kyutora absorbs all damges in it. Then Dartz ends his turn.

Move is back to kaiba, he draws a card and changes Twilight Zone Dragaon into a defense mode (1500). He considers that his LP remains only 600 while he has no monster to summon now. So facing down two cards and he ends his turn.

When turn is back to Yugi again, Yugi is hestitaing how to attack his friends. Kaiba tells him to let Big Shield Guarder destroy on mirror knight. While Yugi is being worried, he is surprised by when little Yugi is trying to say some words. Little Yugi tells him not to worry about himself and start fighting seriously. However, Yugi can't make a decision. He changes Big Shield Guarder into a defense mode, faces down a card and ends his turn.

Suddenly, Raphael has just reached the duel. He asks Dartz stop this useless duel because Dartz is doing such a wrong thing. Also, he asks Dartz release the souls of Yugi's friends even of Amelda and Varon. Then Dartz asks Raphael back whether his dark soul has really been gone. Raphael insists that his life will go on properly without dark mind. Anyway, Dartz intends to create the world by the dark minds. He expresses the truth that he created the destiny for Varon, Amelda and Raphael to let them believe in dark minds. For Amelda, Dartz disguised himself Kaiba Gonsaburo to let him believe that Kaiba Corporation caused the death of Amelda's brother. Hearing it, Kaiba is getting mad. For Varon, Dartz fired the church of Varon's nun. That caused Varon to do a crime and finally he was sent to the prison. The last one Raphael, Dartz created the disaster that let the cruise be wrecked and Raphael lost his family. In brief, Dartz were behind all tragic backgrounds of the three Doma warriors. He needs additional power to face against the chosen duelists and the three legendary dragons. Having understood that his family were killed intentionally by Dartz, Raphael is getting extremely angry. He stands by his duel disk and summons Guardian Airtos. At the same time, he activates the Seal of Orichalcos. Yugi tries to call him stop. Dartz says that everything is too late. No one can stop power of the Seal of Orichalcos when it is activated. Raphael seems unable to control dark power of Orichalcos anymore, so Orichalcos power reflects to him. Orichalcos symbol on his forehead explodes while Orichalcos ring is surrounding him to take his soul. Finally, he falls down and his soul is taken by the Seal of Orichalcos. Raphael's soul appears on the wall next to Varon.

The game continues. Dartz draws a card. He calls Seto and nameless Pharaoh prepare for his next move. He is going to show them the real power of the Seal of Orichalcos. Yugi and Kaiba are very amazed. Suddenly, Dartz activates the third Seal of Orichalcos called Orichalcos Toritosu...
