The duel of destiny ! Yugi VS Raphael

Yugi, Anzu and Honda have finally find Jyoonouchi. Anyway, they see that they come too late. Jyoonouchi's soul has already taken. While everybody is being amazed, Anzu sees a Doom warrior, Varon, whose soul was also taken. She wonders if both of their souls were taken, someone must survive. Honda is certain that she must be Mai because he found Mai during his way. At that time, Mai was looking for both Jyoonouchi and Varon. Honda is very angry and he won't forgive Mai for her done. Anyway, Yugi says that the real enemy who can't be forgiven is the leader of Doom, Dartz, not Mai even the three Doom warriors. Then Yugi runs alone to Paradise, Doom head office. Moving into the building, he sees that the elevator is working. It is going to stop at his floor. When the door is openned, Mai's body is falling upon him. There is a group of smoke floating out off the elevator. Yugi wonders who did this. He notices a feather inside the elevator. Also, he thinks whether it may be Harpy feather or not. Then Yugi moves into the elevator. When the machine is bringing him up, Yugi takes out his deck, rearranges and sets it with his duel disk. The elevator comes to the top floor. The wind blows in when the door is openned. Yugi walks out and sees a shadow of a big guy waiting for him. There is a shadow of feathers appearing behind from this guy. As Yugi thinks, this guy is Raphael and the feather he saw belongs to him. Raphael throws a card back to Yugi. It is Helmos of Jyoonouchi. Yugi thinks that Raphael defeated Jyoonouchi and took this card. Raphael tells him that a person who beat Jyoonouchi is Mai. After beating Jyoonouchi, Mai came to see Dartz. She asked Raphael where Dartz was. Also, she didn't want power of Orichalcos or Doom anymore. She would use her own power to beat Dartz and save Jyoonouchi and Varon. Then she had to face Raphael and she lost. She said sorry to Jyoonouchi before her soul was taken. Yugi understands Mai's feeling to save Jyoonouchi well. He shouts at Raphael and asks him whether his heart feels pain. Many people's souls, Haga, Pegasus, Haga, Ryuusaki, Jyoonouchi, Mai even little Yugi, were taken. Varon and Amelda, who are Raphael's friends, also lost their souls. Yugi wonders if Raphael feels nothing. Raphael, a solitute duelist, would like to know the answer of the destiny. For that purpose, some lives may have to be sacrificed. He lets Yugi see a shadow of a dragon in the sky and says that no one can stop this sign anymore. Yugi is amazed what that dragon is. A shadow of dragon appears all over the world.

On the other side, Anzu and Honda holding Jyoonouchi are running to follow Yugi. Suddenly, Kaiba and Mokuba have reached them. Kaiba sees that Jyoonouchi was defeated. Then he asks about Yugi. Anzu tells him that Yugi went to Paradise head office alone. After that, Mokuba screams and lets everybody take a look at something moving toward his group. A large number of mouse is going to run pass through everbody's position. Kaiba lets the others climb up and stay on the stairway. He has no idea what is going on in this world. Deeper into the ocean, a shadow of a creature starts moving its eyes...

Back Up Guardian

Back to Yugi and Raphael. Before the duel starts, Yugi says that he intends to duel with heart of true duelist. What Raphael said about the destiny is irrelevent to him. Raphael opposes him and says that Yugi's destiny is in this card. Then he shows the Seal of Orichalcos card to Yugi. Raphael is certain that Yugi's soul must be lost following the destiny. He walks to Yugi and exchanges the deck for shuffle. Yugi tells Raphael that though the Seal of Orichalcos is in his deck again this time, he won't activate it. Raphael gets it and walks back to his position. Standing by their duel disks, both Yugi and Raphael start the duel.

First turn comes to Raphael, he activate a magic card, A treasure from guardian god (Shukoshin No Housatsu), which lets a player leave 5 cards on hand into graveyard and draws 2 new cards. Also, Raphael can draw 2 cards in every turn. Then Raphael summons Back Up Guardner (Defense 500/2200) in an defense mode, faces down a card and ends his turn. Move to Yugi's turn, he also summons Queen Knight (Defense 1600) in an defense mode and ends his turn. Come to Raphael's turn. After drawing two cards, he activates a magic card, powerful hatchet (Jyuuryoku No Ono - I am sorry that I have no idea about proper English name). When this hatchet is activated, Guardian Guraru (2500) can be specially summoned.

With the hatchet equipped to Guardian Guraru, the attack power is 500 powered up. Raphael lets Guardian Guraru (2500+500=3000) attack Queen Knight of Yugi and then ends his turn. Come to Yugi's move. Yugi activates a magic card to resummon Queen Knight (1500) from graveyard.

Then he summons King Knight (1600). When King and Queen Knights are together on the field, Yugi can specially summon Jack Knight (1900) from his deck. Continuously, Yugi activates a magic card, Brave Attack. Raphael remembered that Yugi ever played this card before (in episode 146). By its effect, the three knights of Yugi can combine their attack together (1500+1600+1900=5000) to do damage to one opponent's monster. The target is Guardian Gararu (3000). While it is being attacked, Raphael activates a trap card, Guardian Force, which allows to destroy the activated magic card of the opponent. As a result, Brave Attack of Yugi is destroyed. Combined power of the three knights are separated. The knights stop their attackin time. Yugi can do nothing else, so he ends his turn. Back to Raphael again. He activates a magic card to equip a sword to Back Up Guardian. By this effect, Back Up Guardian's attack power is 300 powered up (300+500=800). Then Raphael summons

Guardian Elma (1300/1200) in an attack mode. When this card is summoned, a player can reactivate an equipment magic card from his graveyard and equip it to defense power of Guardian Elma. Accordingly, Raphael reactivates Guardian Shield from his graveyard that increases defense power of Guardian Elma to 1500 (1200+300). Also, its attack power is 300 powered up when Guardian Elma receives the sword from Back Up Guardian as another equipment. Total attack power of Guardian Elma is 1600 (1300+300). Raphael lets Guardian Elma attack Queen Knight and Guardian Guraru attack King Knight. Thus, Yugi's LP is down to 2500 (4000-[1600-1500]-[3000-1600]). Move to Yugi's turn. Yugi accepts the great performance of this guy without power of Orichalcos. Yugi activates a magic card, Twingle Five Star. Sacrificing level 5 monster to gain 5 Kuribo. So Yugi sacrifices Jack Knight and summons five Kuribo (each has 300 attack power). Yugi activates special effect of Kuribo. Discarding a trap card into the graveyard, five Kuribo can form themselves into Kuriball and reduce an attack power of the opponent's monster by the total attack power of five Kuribo. As a rusult, Kuriball attacks Guardian Guraru and decreases its power to 1500 (3000-300*5). After that. Yugi activates another special ability. Five Kuribo can combine themselves into one Demon Kuribo with 1500 attack power. Continuously, Yugi activates a magic card, Cyclone, which can destroy either a trap or a magic card of the opponent. Yugi lets it destroy an equipment magic, powerful hatchet of Guardian Guraru. Attack power of Guardian Guraru is 500 gone. Then Yugi lest Demon Kuribo (1500) attack Guardian Guraru (1500-500=1000). Suddenly, Raphael lets Guardian Elma come to block the attack. Guardian Shield of Guardian Elma is destroyed. Also, that deals damage to Raphael's LP and lets is 500 decreased. Then Yugi sets up a card and ends his turn. He understands that Raphael is a duelist who always protects his monsters and never sends his monsters into graveyard. He also believes that Raphael is great enough not to use power of Orichalcos. Wihtout listening to Yugi, Raphael tells him that he is going to show the real power of this card. Raphael activates the Seal of Orichalcos at the same time that Anzu, Honda carrying Jyoonouchi, Kaiba and Mokuba have just reached the duel. Finally, darkness covers the battle field and Raphael's mind...
