รถไฟที่ยูกิกับอันซุนั่งมาตกลงไปในแม่น้ำในใต้ผา ดาร์ชสงสัยเพราะตนไม่เห็นว่าฟาโรห์ไร้นามนั้นหายไปอยู่ที่ไหนหลังจากตกผาไปแล้ว ราฟาเอลจึงอาสาจะตามไปดูให้ อีกด้านหนึ่งยูกิก็สะดุ้งตื่นจากฝันร้ายที่ตนฝันถึงตอนที่ Duel กับราฟาเอล ยูกิเห็นอันซุนอนอยู่ข้าง ๆ จึงปลุกขึ้นมา ทั้งคู่ต่างสงสัยว่าพวกตนอยู่ที่ไหน ว่าแล้วก็มีสุนัขตัวหนึ่งวิ่งเข้ามาในกระโจมและกระโดดเข้าเลียหน้ายูกิและอันซุ มีเสียงของเด็กสาวเจ้าของมันร้องบอกให้หยุด เธอแนะนำตัวเองว่าชื่อคริส และสุนัขตัวนี้ชื่อ Sani (อาจจะเป็น Sunny ก็ได้น่ะเราไม่ค่อยแน่ใจน่ะ ) คริสพายูกิและอันซุไปพบกับปู่้ของเธอที่กำลังเก็บการ์ดของยูกิที่กระจัดกระจายอยู่ข้างนอก ชายแก่คนนั้นเห็นการ์ดมังกร Timaeus แล้วก็รู้แปลกใจพลางส่งกองการ์ดคืนให้ยูำกิและบอกว่าเป็นการ์ดที่วิเศษมาก ยูกิให้การ์ด Timaeus คืนแก่ชายแ่ก่บอกว่าเป็นการ์ดที่ตนคงไม่ได้ใช้อีกแล้ว ชายแก่แนะนำตัวเองว่าชื่อ ไอรอน ฮาร์ท พอตนได้ฟังเรื่องราวของยูกิเกี่ยวกับการ Duel และความมืดในจิตใจของเขา ไอรอน ฮาร์ท จึงตัดสินใจพายูกิไปที่ที่แห่งหนึ่งที่ยูกิสามารถเห็นดวงวิญญาณของมุโต้ ยูกิได้

ที่แม่น้ำใต้ผา ราฟาเอลมาตรวจดูรถไฟที่กำลังจมลงแม่น้ำแต่ก็ไม่พบฟาโรห์ พลางสงสัยว่าหายไปไหนและก็เริ่มหาต่อ อีกด้าน ไอรอน ฮาร์ท, คริสและสุนัขของเธอก็เดินนำพายูกิกับอันซุผ่านซอกผาไปถึงสถานที่แห่งหนึ่งที่เรียกว่า "ทุ่งหิน" (Ishi No Kouya) ถ้ายูกิไปที่ใจกลางของหินนั่นก็จะได้พบกับมุโต้ ยูกิ ในทุ่งหินนี้ ภาพของคนในความทรงจำในจิตใจจะผุดขึ้นมา ยูกิจึงเดินเข้าไปที่ทุ่งหินคนเดียว เมื่อเขาเดินเข้าไปใกล้มากขึ้นก็ปรากฏแสงเล็ก ๆ บินไปทั่วและกลายร่างเป็นภาพของ Duelist ที่ยูกิเคยสู้ด้วยไม่ว่าจะเป็นแบนดิส คิสต์ แพนโดร่า สองพี่น้องวงกต มาริคหรือแม้แต่ฮางะ แต่ยูกิก็แตะอะไรไม่ได้นอกจากเดินผ่านไป เมื่อไปถึงศูนย์กลางของทุ่งหินนี้ แสงต่าง ๆ ก็เข้ามารวมตัวกันเป็นภาพของมุโต้ ยูกิ ยูกิดีใจที่ได้พบคู่หูของตนอีกครั้งจึงพยายามที่จะเข้าไปหาแต่ก็แตะไม่ได้ลอดผ่านตัวคู่หูไป คู่หูถามว่าตัวเองอีกคนมาทำอะไรที่นี่ ยูกิเล่าให้คู่หูตัวเองฟังเกี่ยวกับการ Duel กับราฟาเอล ที่ราฟาเอลพูดนั้นถูกต้องทุกอย่างเกี่ยวกับที่ว่ามีความมืดอยู่ในจิตใจของตน สิ่งนี้เองทำให้ยูกิรู้สึกกลัว แต่ว่าคู่หูกลับตอบอย่างเย็นชาว่าที่อยากพบตนเนี่ยเพื่อจะบ่นหรือ และบอกว่าจริงๆ แล้วตนเองก็คิดมาตลอดว่าเมื่อไหร่จะได้มีโอกาสต่อสู้กับตัวเองอีกคนซักที และเวลานั้นก็ได้มาถึงแล้ว ยูกิเจ้าของร่างเรียก Duel Disk ออกมาและท้ายูกิต่อสู้ บอกว่าถ้าอยากจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของจิตใจตัวเองและใช้ร่างของตนต่อไปด้วยจิตใจมืดนั่นแล้วก็ต้องเอาชนะตนให้ได้ก่อน ยูกิไม่มีทางเลือกอื่นนอกจากยอม Duel ด้วยเท่านั้น

"Sa! Kamaerunda Namonaki Pharaoh !"
(มาเลย ! เตรียมตัวไว้ซะ ฟาโรห์ไร้นาม)

คริส, ไอรอน ฮาร์ดและอันซุต่างก็ดูการ Duel อยู่บนเนิน คริสบอกอันซุว่าจริงๆ ตนไม่ได้มาช่วยยูกิ แต่ยูกิต่างหากที่จะมาช่วยพวกตน เพราะยูกิเป็นผู้ที่ถูกเลือกให้เป็นผู้ช่วยเหลือโลกนี้ อันซุถึงกับประหลาดใจกันสิ่งที่คริสพูด การ Duel ระหว่างยูกิทั้ง 2 ได้เริ่มขึ้น คู่หูเริ่มต้นการ Duel ก่อนโดยการหมอบการ์ด Monster ป้องกันไว้หนึ่งใบและจบ Turn ตายูกิก็เรียกราชสีห์กาเซล (4/1500/1200) ออกมาและทำลายการ์ดที่หมอบไว้ของคู่หูซะ ปรากฏว่าการ์ดนั้นก็เป็นการ์ดราชสีห์กาเซลเหมือนกัน ยูกิจึงเริ่มสงสัยว่าเป็นไปได้ว่าการ์ดบนมือรวมทั้งใน Deck ของตนและของคู่หูอาจจะเป็นการ์ดแบบเดียวกันทั้งหมด Turn ต่อไปกลับมาที่คู่หูที่หมอบการ์ด Monster ตั้งรับไว้อีก 1 ใบแล้วก็จบ Turn เมื่อกลับมาตายูกิอีกคราวนี้ยูกิใช้การ์ดฟิวชั่นระหว่างราชสีห์กาเซลกับบาโฟเม็ต (4/1400/1800) เรียกสัตว์อสูรคิเมร่า (6/2100/1800) ออกมา พร้อมกับส่งการ์ด Magnet Warrior ออกมาและให้การ์ด Magnet Warrior ทำลายการ์ดตั้งรับของคู่หูซะ ส่วนสัตว์อสูรคิเมร่าก็ให้เข้าโจมตีคู่หูโดยตรง LP ของคู่หูลดลงเหลือ 1900 ยูกิเริ่มสงสัยว่าคู่หูของตนกำลังคิดอะไรอยู่ หากดูจากการ์ดบนมือที่น่าจะเหมือนกันแล้ว คู่หูได้การ์ดชุบชีวิตมาตั้งแต่ Turn ก่อนหน้านี้แล้ว หากคู่หูใช้การ์ดชุบชีวิตเรียกราชสีห์กาเซลขึ้นมาจากสุสานใน Turn ก่อนหน้านี้แทนการตั้งรับ Monster ก็จะสามารถทำการฟิวชั่นและเรียกสัตว์อสูรคิเมร่าออกมาได้ก่อนตน แต่ทว่าคู่หูกลับไม่ทำ

Turn กลับมาที่ยูกิเจ้าของร่างอีกครั้ง คู่หูได้ใช้การ์ดเวทย์มนตร์ทำการสับการ์ดใหม่และใช้การ์ดปลิดชีพการ์ดบนมือส่งการ์ดทุกใบไปในสุสานและจั่วขึ้นมาใหม่ ทีนี้การ์ดบนมือของตนก็จะต่างกับยูกิแล้ว ยูกิขอร้องให้คู่หูหยุดการ Duel ซะเพราะตนไม่อยากสู้ด้วย ต่อสู้กันเองแบบนี้แล้วจะได้อะไร คู่้หูบอกยูิกิว่าตนยอมรับว่ายูกิเป็นเก่งแต่ตนเองก็ไม่คิดว่าจะยอมแพ้การแข่งขันนี้ คู่หูจั่วการ์ดใบนึงขึ้นมาและบอกว่าหากร่างของตนเป็นร่างที่เกิดจากจิตใจด้านมืดของยูกิก็ไม่น่าแปลกที่จะมีการ์ดใบนี้อยู่ในมือ นั่นก็คือการ์ดขอบข่ายเวทย์มนตร์ Orichalcos คู่หูใช้การ์ดนี้โดยที่ไม่ฟังเสียงร้่องห้ามของยูกิเลย พร้อมกับใช้การ์ดชุบชีิวิตเรียก Black Magicin Girl ขึ้นมาจากสุสานที่ตนทิ้งการ์ดไปเพราะการ์ดปลิดชีพการ์ดบนมือ และก็เรียกอัศวินเอลฟ์ออกมา Monster ทั้ง 2 ตนได้พลังเพิ่มขึ้นจาก Orichalcos เป็น 2500 และ 1900 ตามลำดับ อัศวินเอลฟ์เข้าจู่โจม Magnet Warrior ในขณะที่ Black Magician Girl เข้าโจมตีสัตว์อสูรคิเมร่าทำให้บาโฟเม็ต (พลังโจมตี 1800) กลับมายืนตั้งรับบนสนามฝั่งยูกิอีกครั้ง ตายูกิก็ตั้งรับ Big Shield Guardner และจบ Turn ตาคู่หูอีกครั้ืงก็ได้เรียก Queen Knight ที่มีพลังเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 2000 และใช้การ์ดหนังสือเวทย์มนตร์เพิ่มพลังให้กับ Black Magician Girl เป็น 3000 Queen Knight โจมตีบาโฟเม็ตในขณะที่ Black Magician Girl โจมตีใส่ Big Shield Guardner และอัศวินเอลฟ์ก็โจมตีใส่ยูกิเต็ม ๆ จน LP ลดลงเหลือ 1200

Turn กลับมาที่ยูกิซึ่งได้ตั้งรับนักรบหิน (3/1200/2000) และหมอบการ์ดไว้หนึ่งใบ ก่อนจบ Turn ก็ใช้การ์ดดาบแห่งแสงปิดผนึกการโจมตีของคู่หูไว้ 3 Turn แต่เมื่อ Turn กลับมาหาคู่หูอีกก็กลับบูชายัญอัศวินเอลฟ์เรียกเครื่องยิงฐานเต่าออกมา พร้อมกับสังเวย Queen Knight ให้เครื่องยิงฐานเต่ายิงใส่นักรบหิน ยูกิเข้าใจความรู้สึกนี้ดีเพราะมันเป็นวิธีเดียวกับที่ตนเล่นตอนต่อสู้กับราฟาเอล แต่ยังไม่จบ คู่หูคิดสังเวย Black Magician Girl ยิงใส่ยูกิด้วย ยูกิร้องขอให้หยุดก็ไร้ผล เมื่อ Black Magician Girl ถูกยิงมายูกิจึงใช้การ์ดกับดัก Divine Wind สะท้อนการโจมตีกลับไปใส่คู่หูจน LP หมดกลายเป็น 0 ไป ยูกิรีบเข้าไปดูคู่หู ยูกิเจ้าของร่างบอกว่าไม่ว่าเมื่อไหร่ก็ยังคงเชื่อใจยูกิเสมอและขอให้จำไ้ว้ว่ายูกิไม่ได้อยู่คนเดียว ทั้งตนและเหล่า Monster ใน Deck ก็ยังคงอยู่กับยูกิตลอดเวลา ว่าแล้วดวงวิญญาณของคู่หูก็กระจัดกระจายหายไปขณะยูกิเสียใจตะโกนร้องไห้ขึ้นไปบนฟ้า...

Confrontation! Both Yugi

The train falls into the river under the cliff. Dartz wonders because he can't see where nameless Pharaoh is. So Raphael decides to go and find him. On the other side, Yugi is dreaming about the bad duel against Raphael. He feels frightened and then gets up. Yugi sees Anzu sleeping beside him, so he wakes her up. Both of them are amazed where they are. Once a grey wolf is running toward them and jumping on Anzu. It looks friendly and licks on both Yugi and Anzu's faces. A young girl comes into the tent and tells her dog to stop. She introduces herself as Christ and her wolf as Sani (My friend isn't sure about its name. It may be Sunny or something else. Otherwise, I call it as Sani). Christ leads Yugi and Anzu to see her grandpa collecting Yugi's cards outside the tent. An old man gives the deck back to Yugi. When he sees Timaeus, he says that this deck is amazing. However, Yugi gives Timaeus back to him and says that he can't play this card anymore. The old guy introduces himself as Iron Heart. When he listens to Yugi's story about his duel and darkness, he decides to take him to a place where he can see his partner's soul, Mutou Yugi.

At the train sinking into the river, Raphael comes down and sees nobody. He really wonders where Pharaoh is. Then after walking through a tough way, Iron Heart, Christ, Sani lead Yugi and Anzu to the wilderness of the stones (Ishi No Kouya). If Yugi goes there, he is able to see the soul of Mutou Yugi at the center of the stones. At this place, images of people inside a person's mind appears. So Yugi slowly walks there alone. When he goes closer to the stones, there are a lot of light balls flying around and becoming various images of the duelists against whom Yugi had to duel. Yugi sees images of many people such as Bandit Kidth, Paradox Brother, Pandora, Malik even Haga. Anyway, he can touch nothing and just walk through them. Yugi thinks about his partner, Mutou Yugi, and goes into the center of the stones. Then all light balls come together there and transform into Mutou Yugi's appearance. Yugi is happy to see him and tries to touch him but he finally walk through his partner's body. Little Yugi asks Yami Yugi why he comes and what he gonna do here. Yami Yugi tells him about the cruel duel against Raphael and about what Raphael said regarding his darkness. Raphael said the truth about darkness inside his mind, so Yami Yugi much feels afraid of it. Anyway, cool little Yugi says if that Yami Yugi comes here and calls him out is merely for complaining. Little Yugi always thinks when he will have a chance to duel against Yami Yugi. Now the time has come. Little Yugi stands by his duel disk and challenges Yami Yugi for a duel if he would like to share and express himself with dark mind in his body again. Yami Yugi has no choice but accepts the challenge. Then the duel between both of them begins.

"Sa! Kamaerunda Namonaki Pharaoh !"

The others, Christ, Iron Heart, Sani and Anzu are watching them on the hill. Christ tells Anzu that in fact Yugi is a chosen warrior as the world saviour. Anzu is amazed to hear that. Back to the duel, Little Yugi starts the game by setting a card in defense mode and ends his turn. Yami Yugi summons Illusion Beast King Gazelle (4/1500/1200) and lets it destroy the faced down card of little Yugi. It appears that the card which little Yugi set is also Illusion Beast King Gazelle. Yugi assumes that both of them may have the same types of cards on hand. Next turn comes to little Yugi. He sets up one card in defense mode and ends his move. Then Yami Yugi sets up one card and activates fusion between Illusion Beast King Gazelle and Baffomet (4/1400/1800) to become Winged Phantom Beast Kimera (6/2100/1800). Yami Yugi also summons Magnet Warrior. He lets it attack faced down card and lets Winged Phantom Beast Kimera directly attack little Yugi. Little Yugi's LP is down to 1900. Yami Yugi suspects what his partner is doing. He notices Rise Dead, a magic card, that was already on hand. If both of them really have the same deck and cards, why little Yugi didn't activate Rise Dead in his previous turn. If he had activated it and resurrected Illusion Beast King Gazelle from his graveyard, he would have set up fusion and summoned Winged Phantom Beast Kimera before he did in this turn.

Turn comes back to littel Yugi. He activates his magic cards to shuffle his own deck, to leave all of players'cards into graveyard and to draw new cards from the deck again. Then they have different cards on hands now. Yami Yugi asks his partner to stop. He thinks this duel means nothing and he also doesn't want to fight against little Yugi anymore. Little Yugi accecpts that Yami Yugi is great. Anyway, he doesn't want to lose this game. Little Yugi draws a new card and says that if he himself appears from Yami Yugi's dark mind, it is not strange to have this card in his deck. Of course, it is the Seal of Orichalcos. Little Yugi activates it and gains dark power of Orichalcos without listening to Yami Yugi's words. This time, he plays Rise Dead to resurrect Black Magician Girl (2000) that he sent to the graveyard and summons Elf Warrior (1400). Black Magician Girl is powered up to 2500 and Elf Warrior is powered up to 1900 following the rule of Orichalcos. Elf Warrior directly attacks Magnet Warrior while Black Magician Girl attacks Winged Phantom Beast Kimera. So Baffomet (1800) stands back on the field of Yami Yugi again in defense mode. Turn comes to Yami Yugi. He sets up Big Shield Guardner in defense mode and ends his turn. Next little Yugi summons Queen Knight (1500+500=2000) and powers up Black Magician Girl with Magic Book (2000+500+500=3000). Queen Knight attacks Baffomat, Black Magician Girl attacks Big Shield Guardner and Elf Warrior directly attacks Yami Yugi. So LP of Yami Yugi is down to 1200 now.

Turn back to Yami Yugi, he sets up Rock Soldier (3/1200/2000) in defense mode, faces down a card . Also, he activates Sealing Sword of Light t to stop little Yugi'moves for three turns before ending his turn. Next little Yugi sacrifices Elf Warrior to summon Catapult Turtle. He is going to sacrifce Queen Knight and play the same style as what Yami Yugi ever did against Raphael. Queen Knight is launced to destroy Rock Soldier. Continuously, little Yugi is going to sacrifice Black Magician Girl to attack Yami Yugi. Yami Yugi understands this painful feeling well and screams to ask him stop his done. However, little Yugi still goes on his attack. Black Magician Girl is launched by Catapult Turtle. Yami Yugi screams painfully and activates his trap card, Divine Wind, to reflect the attack back to little Yugi. This strike causes the defeat of little Yugi. Yami Yugi hurries to see how his partner is. Little Yugi reminds Yami Yugi that he isn't alone. All monsters in his deck and he himself are always with him. He also trusts him no matter what will happen. As soon as the soul of little Yugi is scattered into the air, Yami Yugi cries and screams into the sky.
