ยูกิ โจวโนะอุจิ อันซุและฮอนดะกำลังนั่งรถผ่านตัวเมือง San Fransisco ในรัฐ California หลังจากที่เดินทางมาถึงอเมริกาแล้ว เป็นครั้งที่ทุกคนเดินทางมาอเมริกาจึงตื่นเต้นกันมากยกเว้นยูกิที่ยังคงวิตกกังกลแต่เรื่องของเพกาซัส การ์ดเทพเจ้าถูกขโมย 3 นักรบปริศนา ฯลฯ ทำให้ไม่รู้สึกสนุกตามไปด้วย

ด้านไคบะกับโมคุบะก็บินไปที่เกาะ Duelist Kingdom ตามคำท้าทายของเพกาซัส หลังลงจอดเครื่องบินที่ดาดฟ้าของปราสาทเพกาซัสทั้ง 2 ก็เดินเข้าไปในปราสาทที่ดูเหมือนจะไม่มีใครอยู่ ไคบะเดินไปที่สนามประลองในปราสาทตะโกนบอกให้เพกาซัสโผล่หัวออกมา และเพกาซัสเดินออกมาจากฝั่งตรงข้ามบอกว่ากำลังรออยู่เลย ไคบะบอกว่าเรื่อง Duel Monster ออกมาจากเกมส์นอกจาก Kaiba Corporation แล้วคนที่เกี่ยวข้องและน่าจะทำเช่นนี้ได้นอกจากผู้คิดค้นเกมส์อย่างเพกาซัสก็ไม่น่าจะมีใครอีกแล้ว เพกาซัสบอกว่าถ้าอยากรู้ความจริงก็ต้องเอาชนะตนในการ Duel ให้ได้ก่อน ไคบะนึกถึงคราวก่อนที่ตนพ่ายแพ้ต่อเพกาซัสและถูกกักวิญญาณไว้ในการ์ดกับโมคุบะแต่คราวนี้ตนเชื่อว่าจะไม่แพ้อีกอย่างแน่นอน แข่งคราวนี้ไคบะใช้ Duel Disk ของตนเองเชื่อมระบบกับสนามประลองของเพกาซัส ไคบะบอกให้โมคุบะหลบไปเพราะไม่รู้ว่าเพกาซัสจะมาลูกไม้ไหนอีกหรือเปล่า

อีกด้านริวซากิกับคางะที่แอบตามพวกยูกิมาโดยซ่อนตัวอยู่ในกระเป๋าตลอดการเดินทางก็ถูกรถบรรทุกกระเป๋าขนไปอีกทาง ทว่ากระเป๋ากลับตกหล่นกลางทางเมื่อทั้ง 2 คนออกมาจากกระเป๋าก็พบว่าอยู่ในย่านสลัมในอเมริกาที่ตนไม่เคยรู้จักมาก่อน

เกมส์ระหว่างไคบะและเพกาซัสก็ได้เริ่มขึ้น เำพกาซัสก็ยังคงใช้เทคนิกเดิมของตนคือ Toon World โดยใช้การ์ด Toon no Mokuji (Toon Contents) เรียก Magic Card Toon World ออกมาได้ แต่ไคบะก็ไม่ยอมให้เพกาซัสใช้ลูกไม่เดิมกับตนได้ง่ายๆ เพราะก่อนจะมาสู้กับเพกาซัสตนก็ได้เตรียมพร้อมที่จะเผชิญหน้ากับ Deck แบบนี้ไว้แล้วเหมือนกัน ไคบะบูชายัญเรียก Blue Eyes White Dragon ออกมาในขณะที่เพกาซัสก็เรียก Toon Blue Eyes ออกมาเช่นกัน แต่ในโลกการ์ตูนการโจมตีของไคบะก็ไม่สามารถทำอะไร Toon Blue Eyes ได้ในขณะเดียวกันไคบะก็ต้องคอยแต่รับการโจมตีจาก Toon Monsters เพกาซัสได้เปลี่ยน Toon Mosnter โดยใช้ Toon Blue Eyes เรียก Toon Black Magician Girl ออกมาแทน ไคบะก็ยังคงไม่สามารถทำอะไร Toon Monsters ได้อีกเช่นกัน แต่ทว่าไคบะว่ากลยุทธ์แบบนี้มีจุดอ่อนอยู่ที่ Toon World ถ้าทำลายมันซะก็หมดปัญหา ว่าแล้วไคบะก็ใช้การ์ดเวทย์มนตร์ทำลาย Toon World และ Toon Monsters ซะแหลก ไคบะเองก็เริ่มรู้สึกจากการ Duel แล้วว่าคู่ต่อสู้ของตนไม่เหมือนกับเพกาซัสปกติ เมื่อรู้ตัวแล้วเพกาซัสก็เปิดเผยโฉมตนเองออกมาซึ่งก็คืออาเมลด้าที่ปลอมตัวมานั่นเอง อาเมลด้าบอกไคบะว่าเกมส์ของจริงจะเริ่มจากนี้ไปพร้อมกับใช้การ์ด The seal of Oracle Curse คลุมสนามไว้ ใน Oracle Curse นี้ผู้แพ้เกมส์จะต้องสูญเสียดวงวิญญาณของตัวเองเป็นเครื่องสังเวย...

A Nightmare of Toon World

Yugi, Jounouchi, Anzu, and Honda are traveling by car through San Francisco City in California. This is first time of any of them came to America, and thus everyone seemed to be excited with the new scenery. Anyway, Yugi was worrying himself thinking about seeing Pegasus, the stolen God cards, the 3 warriors...etc until he doesn't feel happy anymore like the others.

Kaiba and Mokuba are flying to Duelist Kingdom because of Pegasus' invitation. After landing at Pegasus' castle, both of them enter the castle and inside no one seemed to exist. Kaiba reaches the dueling arena in the castle and shouts at Pegasus to show himself. Pegasus was waiting for him there. Kaiba accuses Pegasus about the fact that, other than Kaiba Corporation, there is only the game’s creator, Pegasus, whom could be the person causing the current situation of Duel Monsters coming out of the game. Pegasus tells him to win the duel first, then he will know the truth. Kaiba reminds himself that when he was defeated last time his soul was captured inside a card just like Mokuba’s. This time he is confident that he will win. Kaiba uses his own duel disk, linking it to Pegasus’ arena in the duel. Mokuba leaves the both of them and watches the duel from a distance.

Ryuzaki and Haga have been hiding themselves in a baggage during the whole trip to America. The baggage was separated and carried on a truck. However, it accidentally dropped on the road. When the both of them got out of the baggage, they find themselves in a weird place where they haven't been before.

The duel between Kaiba and Pegasus starts. Pegasus uses his signature technique of Toon World. He activates Toon No Mokuji (Toon Contents) to spell Magic Card Toon World. Anyway, Kaiba doesn't let him use the same style easily with him this time. Before the duel, he had already prepared a plan to handle that deck. Kaiba sacrifices his monsters and summons Blue Eyes White Dragon while Pegasus summons Toon Blue Eyes. With Toon World, no attack can effect on Toon Monsters. Kaiba can only defense himself. Pegasus changes monsters from Toon Blue Eyes to Toon Black Magician Girl. However, Kaiba realizes that the weakest part of this technique is Toon World. Thus, destroying it is his best chance to win. So he uses a magic card to destroy both the Toon World and its Toon Monsters. At that point, Kaiba begins to feel that his opponent isn't really Pegasus. It turned out to be true. The fake Pegasus reveals himself as Amelda, one of three warriors. Amelda tells Kaiba that the real game is starting from now. Then, he draws a card and activates it. It is The Seal of the Oracle Curse. The curse ring appears and covers the battlefield. Under The Seal of the Oracle Curse, the loser must sacrifice his soul at the end.
