An initiation of millennium items

Many years ago when Pharaoh Akunumkanon ruled Egypt, the kingdom was invaded by the other country. In order to gain greater power to protect the kingdom, Pharaoh allowed his brother, Akunadin, process a secret ritual. Without understaning of a millennium magic book, Pharaoh counted on Akunadin who succeeded in translating it to handle this work. Akunadin leaded the troops forward to the village of thief named Kuruelna. Following the magic book, seven treasures having tremendous power could be created by 99 lives. As a result, Akunadin sacrificed the thieves in Kuruelna village to perform this ritual. Of course, Pharaoh Akunumkanon hadn't realized about slaughter. When creating finished, seven holders were selected. Pharaoh was at the top level following by the six priests. The kingdom was safe from the invaders when dark power from seven millennium items was released. However, it was just the beginning. The real tragedy caused from millennium items took place in the next era of Egypt when Pharaoh Akunumkanon's son, Pharaoh Atem (Yugi), ruled the kingdom. Akunadin hadn't realized that he had been partially controlled by a shadow since he created millennium items. Darkness called him and tired to give him his stupid wish "Having his son become Pharaoh". So, he was much frightened when the thief Bakura appeared and said that he was a survivor from Kuruelna village. Bakura misunderstood that Pharaoh slaughtered his villagers. He also tried to gather all millennium items back to the lithograph under Kuruelna village where an ancient ritual was performed. If he could return all of them back, he could gain dark power of Zork Necrophidius sealed at the stone tablet. In brief, a shadow power of millennium items come from people's lives.

Yugi took 8 years to solve a millennium puzzle at first time while he took a few minutes at second time. A millennium puzzle gave a wish for him "Having true friend whom can be counted on". Since then, spirit of Pharaoh sealed inside the puzzle has obsessed Yugi's body. Also, a millennium puzzle is a vessel of Pharaoh's memory. 3,000 years ago, Pharaoh Atem sacrificed himself to seal himself and Zork Necrophidius inside this millennium puzzle.
   
A Millennium Rod

Malik got a millennium rod from his family and used it kill his father. After being defeated at final round of Battle City, he returned the rod to Yugi.

The real owner of a millennium rod was the priest Seto 3,000 years ago. He used its power seal Ka (monster in people's minds) into the tablet.

Bakura Ryoo descented a millennium ring from his father. The dark spirit inside the ring, a part of Zork Necrophidius, obsessed his mind. 3,000 years ago, this ring belonged to 1 of 6 servants of Pharaoh named the priest Mahado. The thief Bakura killed the priest and took over it from him.

Power of a millennium ring is apparent that it can transfer or embade people's minds into a thing that a holder desires such as a doll even a piece of a millennium puzzle. Although the priest Mahado is the real holder, Bakura seems to better match it because Mahado later becomes a spirit of Black Magician.

Shadi is a mysterious guy who tries to gather all millennium items. He uses power of the scale to measure one's sin. If their sin is heavier than a feather, one will get punished from a shadow power. 3,000 years ago, the priest Karim was a holder of this scale. He also used it judge the prisonsers' fault.

Shadi uses power of a millennium Anhk invade into person's mind and able to chage in any form he wishes. That also made him surprise when he saw Yugi have two rooms in his mind. Yugi tries to inform him that looking into person's mind isn't good behavior. Similarly, the priest Shada used power of it see the truth in the prisoners' minds. However, he behaved himself worse when the priest Seto asked him look for great and powerful Ka inside general villagers'minds.

Pegasus got a millennium eye when he travelled to Egypt and saw Shadi. By its power, he could see image of his passed away love, Sindia, again. Also, he could see what people were thinking. After being defeated at final round of Duelist Kingdom, Bakura took a millennium eye with him. He intends to return it to Yugi when time is come. 3,000 years ago, the priest Akunadin was the holder of the eye. He used its power see Ka in person's mind.

Isis got a millennium Tauk from her family. By its power, she could see the future. Her prediction was wrong when she dueled against Kaiba at Battle Ship. After losing, she gave it back to Yugi. 3,000 years ago, Isis used the Tauk predict the future of kingdom and people. However, she couldn't see the future of millennium items' holders.
