Journey into Pharaoh's memory world

The comic stroy starts after Battle City stage (ep. 279). Yugi can gather three Egyptian god cards and he is now ready for the next step to recover his memory. At night, Yami Bakura helps Yugi take back the three Egyptian god cards from a card collector trying to steal it. Also, he gives a millennium eye to Yugi and gives Yugi a promise that he will support Yugi until Yugi can recover Pharaoh's memory. At this time, Yugi hasn't got any idea that Bakura would like to get a shadow power of Hades when seven millennium items are brought back to their stone tablet.

Then an exciting day has come. Yugi, Honda, Jyoonouchi, Anzu and Bakura go to Domino Museum to see the stone tablet. In front of the museum, a mysterious guy named Bobasa appears. He introduces himself a servant of Shadi and comes here to help Pharaoh following Shadi's order. Also, he is holding a millennium scale and ankh with him. Bobasa is going to journey into a memory world with the others.

Next, this time finally arrives. Yami Yugi shows three Egyptian god cards in front of the stone tablet following direction written on Malik's back. Suddenly, bright light is shining, separating Yami Yugi from little Yugi and bringing him into his memory's world inside a millennium puzzle. Later everybody follows Yami Yugi into Yugi's mind full of maze. However, Bakura can't enter because he doesn't pass the test of a millennium scale. Babasa doesn't allow him to get in. Everybody has to find the real door in the maze to get into the memory world of Yami Yugi. Finally, he or she uses power of his unity, handing out together and thinking about Yami Yugi. By united power, the real door in this maze is opened. Behind the door, it is an anciently Egyptian world, a memory world of Yami Yugi. Little Yugi, Jyoonouchi, Honda, Anzu and Bobasa know that they have a mission to find a real name of Pharaoh in this world.

First Srike at royal palace by the thief Bakura

While everybody is looking for the entrance into Yami Yugi's memory world, Yami Yugi is playing his role as Pharaoh in his memory world. When he first arrives here, he is sitting on a Pharaoh's throne in a royal palace of Egypt, surrounded by his close servant named Shimon Muran and the six priests named Seto, Karim, Shada, Isis, Akunadin and Mahado. Yami Yugi still gets confused by sudden event occurring to him.

Then Pharaoh Yugi sees how seven millennium items play important roles in people judgement. Millennium items have power to see into people's minds, take out an evil monster called bad Ka living there, seal it into a stone tablet. When people's bad Ka is sealed, they becomes good guys. Pharaoh Yugi also sees the priset Seto, a previous life of Kaiba, holding a millennium rod and playing a role as an honest servant.

Suddenly, the priest Isis feels an evil coming close from her millennium Tauk. The thief Bakura has come to the royal palace with a remain of a mummy and a lot of treasures. He intrudes into the rayal palace, facing against Pharaoh Yugi, the six priests and Shimon. Then he announces his purpose to get seven millennium items. As a result, the battle between the thief Bakura and the six priests begin. When Bakura's Ka is taken out, it appears in form of such a great power monster called Diabound. The priests all summon their Ka in form of various monsters to fight against Diabound. However, Diabound is too powerful for the priests to beat it. Then Pharaoh Yugi can't stand seeing the thief Bakura looking down his father's remain of mummy, so he expresses himself to duel against Diabound alone. Reminding himself of his father's words "Justice is in the name of god", he can call the name of the god, Obelisk, and summon it to fight against Diabound. When Diabound is heavily attacked by God Hand Crusher of Obelisk, it loses a lot of power that lets the owner, the thief Bakura, gets a serious injury. As a result, the thief Bakura decides to return this time and he plans to come back later.

The first battle in a royal palace ends by the victory of nameless Pharaoh and the priests. Memory of Pharaoh Yugi is being gradually recovered by the time is running. However, he hasn't known that his friends are coming into this memory world to help him.

Battle of Mahado inside Pharaoh's tomb

After the attack of the thief, the priest Seto and the priest Akunadin have some discussion about this event. Both of them are worried about Ka kept inside Veju shrine which may not be strong enough to fight againt Diabound of Bakura. Akunadin explains to Seto that Ka of Bakura is great because of hatred. As a result, Seto plans to hunt Ka from people in the city and finds some way to improve it without listening to Akunadin's warning.

Inside Royal Palace, the six priests are having some duel against one another in front of Pharaoh throne. They are divided into two teams, 3 on 3. Shimon explains the rule of this duel that each priest can summon either his own Ka or Ka from Veju shrine, which requires the stone tablet to hold it. The priest Seto takes benefit over his teams by sacrificing Karim's and Akunadin's Ka to increase his Ka's attack power. Then he uses his Ka defeat all Ka of another team easily. After that, Seto challenges Pharaoh for a duel and asks Pharaoh for letting him see power of gods. However, Pharaoh uses only the stone tablet of Kuribo. When Ka of Seto destroys it, a large number of Kuribo is coming out to attack Seto's Ka. Pharaoh tries to teach Seto that strength isn't everything.

Mahado would like to take responsibity that he let the thief Bakura pass through the tomb of previous Pharoah, Ankunumkanon, so he decides to face against the thief Bakura alone. He traps the thief Bakura into a tomb equipped with several traps. In fact, the thief Bakura follows Mahado to take a millennium ring. The battle between the thief Bakura and the priest Mahado has started. Diabound of the thief Bakura is too powered for Ka of Mahado, Illusion Magician, to be defeated. Finally, Mahado sacrifices his life to combine his spirit with his own Ka and becomes Black Magician. By greater power, Mahado in form of Black Magician attacks the thief Bakura. Then the thief Bakura falls into the abyss inside the tomb while Mahado becomes a spirit on the stone tablet by his will to protect Pharaoh forever...

Ka's hunt

In order to get stronger Ka, the priest Seto decides to start hunting Ka from innocent people in the city and try to find the way to develope the Ka into greater weapon. He discusses with the priest Akunadin and tells him to let himself handle this work. The priest Akunadin is afraid that Seto, his son, is going to follow his previous dark way.

The priest Seto, the priest Shada with the troops go into the town, using power of millennium items to see through people's minds and to look for strong Ka. The priest Seto would like to test whether Ka can be develop itself, so he takes some group of captured back at the prison. At the same time, there is a blue eyes girl with white hair and skin being attacked by villagers. People believe that the weird girl with different race like her will bring disaster to the city. While the girl is falling down, the priest Seto accidently passes by and hands over his help. At that time, the priest Shada feels such a powerful strength from his millennium ankh. He tells the priest Seto that there is power of god in form of a white dragon in her mind. As a result, the priest Seto takes the girl back, letting many soldiers take care of her. He really wants to know how to get that power from the girl. Then he later knows the girl's name 'Kisara''.

The second strike at night

The thief Bakura is back for the second strike. After attacking the priest Akunadin at the Ouiju shrine, he and his Ka, Diabound are being chased by Pharaoh and his god, Osiris. This time, Pharaoh is being in a trap of Bakura's game. He has to protect his villagers from Diabound's attack. As result, Pharaoh has to let his Osiris as shield to protect people and also receive such big damage. While Pharaoh is getting too hurt to continue the battle, the rest priests are following him and helping him counterattack Diabound. Anyway, Bakura's Diabound shows a new ability to hide itself into darkness, so the priests'Ka can do nothing.

While Pharaoh Yugi is falling down because of his serious injury, his friends, little Yugi, Jyonouchi, Anzu and Honda express in front of him. Because strong power of relationship, Pharaoh Yugi can finally recover his power to summon another god, Ra. When Ra, the god of the sun, is summoned, darkness is disappeared and Diabound can no longer hide itself inside darkness. Finally, Diabound is strongly attacked by Ra and destroyed. This also leads the theif Bakura to the death.

However, a mysterious guy appears on the sky. He calls himself a Dark Master, introducing himself and greeting Pharaoh. No matter what, he can't let the thief Bakura die now. Then he activates a special ability, Winded Back Time, to return time back before Pharaoh Yugi had found his friends and regained enough power to summon Ra. By this effect, Ra is disappeared, Diabound and the theif Bakura are revived and all of Pharaoh Yugi's friends are blown away. Without powr of his friend, Pharaoh Yugi is in a serious injury. He starts chasing the theif Bakura alone. Then he steps into the thief Bakura's trap. His millennium puzzle is taken by the thief Bakura while he is falling into a darkness of a cliff...

An Advent of White Dragon

While everybody is looking for Pharaoh who disappears in the battle against the thief Bakura, the priest Seto is going to an outcome of his test on developing Ka. He takes Kisara out and tries to test whether her Ka will come out to protect herself when she is in a danger. However, some accident occurs. Kisara's Ka doesn't show up, so Seto stops the test and tries to save her. When he misses and closes to be attacked, Kisara's Ka, a White Dragon, appears to protect him. So understands that Kisara's Ka is unique. It will show up when the vessel is unconscious. Also, the vessel remembers nothing during her dream. Taking out Kisara's Ka means taking her life. Yet, the priest Akunadin forces Seto to kill Kisara to gain great power exceeding god of Blue Eyes White Dragon. Anyway, Seto hesitates to do this murder...

The third battle at Kuruelna Village

The thief Bakura is alive from the second battle, so is Pharaoh Yugi. The thief Bakura is back to his Kuruelna village with a millennium puzzle he took from Pharaoh. Pharaoh with the priests and the troop move to Kuruelna village. The battle starts at a temple under Kuruelna village where the stone tablet of millennium items is located on. The theif Bakura reveals the secret of the millennium items which were created by 99 lives of people in Kuruelna Village. This slaughter came from the order of previous Pharaoh, Akunumkanon. Pharaoh Yugi is too shocked by this truth to continue his fight. Without a millennium puzzle, Pharaoh can't summon any Ka even gods. Suddenly, Mahado, in form of Ka - Black Magician, appears to save Pharaoh Yugi. Mahado tells Pharaoh that Pharaoh Akunumkanon really had no idea about the creation of the millennium items. As a result, Pharaoh Yugi gains his fighting spirit back and keeps on battling against Diabound with Mahado. After that the other priests have reached this final stage. Everybody summons his or her own Ka to support Mahado and Pharaoh Yugi. Mana also combines her spirit with her Ka into Black Magician Girl to help her teacher, Mahado, too. The battle becomes more violent.

However, the priest Akunadin doesn't join this battle. He is stepping down to the the battle stage with fear of whatever he ever did to people in Kuruelna Village. Then darkness inside the priest Akunadin is released. He takes all millennium items from people and returns them to the original tablet. Finally, Zork Necrophidius is summoned and the priest Akunadin becomes the Dark Master.

A shadow game : little Yugi VS Bakura

While Pharaoh Yugi is facing Diabound and the thief Bakura at Kuruelna village, little Yugi and the others have almost reached the real name of Pharaoh inside Pharaoh's tomb. However, Yami Bakura appears to obstruct them there. In order to pass through, little Yugi has to fight against Yami Bakura by duel monster game card. This time, he is playing his own deck and power not Yami Yugi's deck and strength...

Finally, all millennium items are brought back to the stone tablet and Zork Necrophidius is summoned. Akunadin betrays Pharaoh and becomes the dark priest, gaining tremendous power from Zork Necrophidius. Pharaoh and his army has to face against Zork Necrophidius and a lot of dead spirits while the earth is going to collapse...
