Three legendary dragons
Densetsu Ryuu

Only one thing that can negate power of Orichalcos is power of the three legendary dragons, Timaeus, Critias and Helmos. Three of them were the dregons from Duel Monster World who protected the earth during a period of DM war 10,000 years ago. They have been sealed to save their lives until now. Only three chosen person with true hearts of duelists can unseal the dragons. The cards are played like magic cards that a player has to combine them with other monsters or to transform them into an equipment or weapon.

The Legendary Dragon Timaeus [Magical Effect]

Expression:

- Against Raphael in anime episode 157,158 (Drum Rock)
- Against Orichalcos Soldier in anime episode 164 (Wilderness of Stone)
- Against Raphael in anime episode 175 (Paradision)
- Against Dartz in anime episode 181,182(Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182,183,184 (Airborne)

Effect: Combine Timaeus with a monster on the field to be played. Also, the player has to send a monster into his graveyard to combine it with this card.

Effect:

- This effect can be played only one time in the player's main phase.

Note:
This is a combo that Yugi frequently plays the legendary dragon Timaeus with Black Magician.

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally.
- Activating the legendary dragon Timaeus, sending Black Magician into graveyard, the player can summon specially this card from his deck.
- An attack power of this card is powered by 300 points for each magic card sent into graveyard.
- This effect can be played only one time in the player's main phase.

Note:
This combo is played only in anime episode 175, Yugi VS Raphael.


The Legendary Dragon Critias [Magical Effect]

Expression:

- Against Amelda in anime episode 150 (Pegasus's Castle)
- Against Amelda in anime episode 167 (Airborne Battle)
- Against Dartz in anime episode 180 (Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182,183,184 (Airborne)

Effect: Combine Timaeus with a trap card on the field to be played. Also, the player has to send the trap card into his graveyard to combine it with this card.

This combo is played only in anime episode 167, Kaiba VS Amelda.

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally.
- Activating the legendary dragon Critias, sending Holy Barrier Mirror Force into graveyard, the player can summon specially this card from his deck.
- Return all damage that this card receives to all monsters on the opponent's field.

The Legendary Dragon Helmos [Magical Effect]

Time Magic Hammer [ Equipment Magic ]

Effect:
- Activating the legendary dragon Helmos, sending Time Wizard into graveyard, the player can play this card from his deck.
- Equip this card with a monster to be played
- When the monster equipped with this card attacks, all monsters on the opponent's field disappear.
- Return a monster to the opponent's field in each next turn.

Note:
This combo is played only in anime episode 154, Jyonouchi VS Mai.

 

Red Eyes Black Dragon Sword [ Equipment Magic ]

Effect:
- Activating the legendary dragon Helmos, sending An Advent of Black Dragon into graveyard, the player can play this card from his deck.
- Equip this card with a monster to be played
- The monster equipped with this card has 1000 attack points plus 500 points for each dragon-type monster on the fields and graveyards.

Note:
This combo is played only in anime episode 173, Jyonouchi VS Mai.

 

Rocket Helmos Cannon [ Equipment Magic ]

Effect:
- Activating the legendary dragon Helmos, sending Rocket Warrior into graveyard, the player can play this card from his deck.
- Equip this card with a monster with 1000 or less attack points.
- When The monster equipped with this card attackes, it can attack the opponent and all of the opponent's monsters in a time.

Note:
This combo is played only in anime episode 171, Jyonouchi VS Varon. Recket Helmos Cannon can deal damge to Varon and each part of his armors. Because each armor has 0 attack point, Varon gets strong hit by this effect.

 

Bow of Goddess Altemis [ Equipment Magic ]

Effect:
- Activating the legendary dragon Helmos, sending Queen Knight into graveyard, the player can play this card from his deck.
- Equip this card with a monster to be played.
- If the player's LP is more than the opponent's LP, original attack points of the equipped monster is down by half. However, if the player's LP is less than or equal to the opponent's LP, original attack points of the equipped monster is doubled.
- When The monster equipped with this card attackes and then the opponent's monster activates its effect, the equipped monster can do twice attack in the battle phase.

Note:
This combo is played only in anime episode 176, Yugi VS Raphael. Yugi plays Jyonouchi's Helmos to equip it with Guardian Airtos of Raphael resummoned from graveyard.

 

Three legendary knights
Densetsu Kishi

Real appearances of the three legendary dragons are the three legendary knights. 10,000 years ago, the three legendary knights were sealed in forms of the dragons. In other to resurrect the three knights, a key magic card, Legend of Heart, is a neccessary factor. Yugi found a blank card when he visited Pegasus'company (episode 154). At first, he still had no idea who to activate this card. However, Pegasus is certain that Yugi must understand how to reseal the blank card. Later in the final battle against Dartz (episode 181), Yugi almost falls into darkness because of Dartz's words. Yet, he can recover his heart of duelist from feeling of friendship. And this is a key point to activate Legend of Heart. When Yugi gets his spirit back, he draws a card and gets a blank card, which has already became a magic card Legend of Heart.

 

Legend of Heart

Expression:

- Against Dartz in anime episode 181 (Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182 (Airborne)

Effect: - Pay 1,000 lifepoints and sacrifice one soldier-type monster on the field, the legendary dragon Timaeus, Critias and Helmos into graveyard in order to play this card.

- The player can summon specially the legendary knight Timaeus, Critias and Helmos from his deck, hand or graveyard.

The Legendary Knight Timaeus (8/2800/1800)

Holder: Mutou Yugi
Expression:

- Against Dartz in anime episode 181,182(Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182,183,184 (Airborne)

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally but by the effect of Legend of Heart.

- When this card, the legendary knight Critias and Helmos are sent to graveyard, the player can resummon specially the legendary dragon Timaeus from his deck, hand or graveyard.

The Legendary Knight Critias (8/2800/1800)

Holder: Mutou Yugi
Expression:

- Against Dartz in anime episode 181,182(Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182,183,184 (Airborne)

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally but by the effect of Legend of Heart.

- When the opponent monster attacks this card as a target object, the player can select a trap card from his graveyard and set it up on his field. Also, the player can activate this card in this turn.

The Legendary Knight Helmos (8/2800/1800)

Holder: Mutou Yugi
Expression:

- Against Dartz in anime episode 181,182(Orichalcos Dome)
- Against Orichalsos God in anime episode 182,183,184 (Airborne)

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally but by the effect of Legend of Heart.

- When the opponent monster attacks this card as a target object, the player can select a monster from his graveyard. Then until at the end phase of this card, this card has the same ability as the selected monster's.

- If three monsters are removed from the game, the player can return his three times received damage to the opponent.


United Divine Dragon Timaeus (8/2800/1800)

Expression:

- Against Dartz in anime episode 182(Orichalcos Dome)

Effect:
- This card can't be summoned normally but by fusion of the legendary knight Timaeus, Critias and Helmos.

- When this monster is successfully summoned, it can destroy a monster on the opponent field.
