Three chosen warriors

When power of the enemys is increased by the Seal of Orichalcos, Yugi and his friends also have to increase their power. One thing that can negate power of Orichalcos is power of legendary dragons sealed in Duel Monster world. Not everybody but chosen duelists with true heart of duelists can resurrect those dragons. Of course, they are the top 3 from Battle City, Yugi, Kaiba and Jyoonouchi.

While three of them were being in trouble during the duel against Orichalcos, their minds were taken into the Duel Monster World to awaken the legendary dragons. Both Yugi help each other awaken Timaeus in his dream. Jyoonouchi resurrects Helmos while he is dueling against Mai. Also, Kaiba resurrects Critias while he is dueling against Amelda at Pegasus's castle.

Power of legendary dragons aren't apparent. They are played and combined with the other monsters like equipped monsters to increase monsters' power as well as to negate power of Orichalcos. As we can see, Kaiba fuses Critias with his dragon monster, Yugi fuses Timaeus with Black Magician Girl while Jyoonouchi plays combination between Helmos and Time Wizard.

In order to destroy Doom, union power of three legendary dragons is neccessary. However, at present, Kaiba refuses to cooporate. He intends to destroy Doom by himself. After his perception that Yugi, the king of duelist, was defeated by Raphael, he becomes more angry and refuses any help and support. At the same time, Yugi who lost true heart of duelist after dueling against Raphael has an unstable emotion. Because of his aggressive duel by sacrifying monsters without reasons, he also lost little Yugi's soul. It seems that Yugi need time to stand up and to recover his heart of duelist. The last duelist is Jyoonouchi who seems to be a great warrior with strong heart. His intention to help his friend, Mai, leads him to become a chosen duelist.
