Ceremonial Battle

Little Yugi is rearranging his new deck in a cabin, thinking about balancing his monster, magic and trap cards. All the time long, he has been organized the deck with Yami Yugi. Anyway, this deck will be his own deck played against Yami Yugi's deck.

The cruise will reach valley of the kings soon. The underground temple is the battle stage for both Yugi. Then Yami Yugi has just expressed himself from little Yugi's mind, asking whether little Yugi has finished arranging his deck yet. Little Yugi is glad to see Yami Yugi, and tells him that everybody is very worried about Yami Yugi who hasn't expressed himself for a while. Yami Yugi replies him that he couldn't come out when little Yugi was arranging the deck that will be played against himself. He already heard the story about ceremonial battle that Malik said, the duel that he has to fight against little Yugi. While Yami Yugi is getting serious and looking at little Yugi, little Yugi keeps thinking a bit and tells him back that he will duel against him by all of his power he has. Yami Yugi agrees with him. After that little Yugi takes his turn to Yami Yugi and lets him get a chance to arrange a deck. He claims that he has arranged a new strategy to break Yami Yugi's weakness. Anyway, it seems that Yami Yugi get worried about something and not listen to him. So little Yugi changes his personality to Yami Yugi quietly. In fact, little Yugi doesn't want to duel against Yami Yugi at all. He has to do this mission of destiny to release Yami Yugi's soul. Also, he knows that time is almost running out. Although he has something that he would like to talk to Yami Yugi, he can't say it right now during battle period.

After changing his mind with little Yugi, Yami Yugi starts arranging his deck from a pile of cards on the table. Although he has passed many duels against various duelists, this battle, the ceremonial battle, is supposed to another tough one. Little Yugi has to play this game for him. Looking at a millennium puzzle box with little Yugi's deck and feeling inside, Yami Yugi intends to do the same thing of putting his strong feeling into his own deck. When time has passed since 3,000 years ago, ancient battle by stone tablets was advanced to modern-duel style. Finally Yami Yugi has finished his new and strong deck. He is ready for the final battle. If he loses, his soul will be released from this world. However, if he wins, he has to stay in this world as usual. This is the duel to judge Yami Yugi's future destiny. Then Yami Yugi looks outside, seeing that the cruise has already reached the destination. While he is moving out from the ship, he sees that everybody is ready outside, and welcomes him to his hometown.

Moving down to underground temple, everybody is ready in front of millennium item stone tablet with a behind stone wall of a millennium eye broken apart following the picture that Isis sent to him. All tomb guardians have been waited for their Pharaoh there. They return the rest two of seven millennium items, a millennium scale and ankh, to Yugi. Then Isis tells him to put all seven millenniums back to the tablet. After Yugi places the millennium items back, the millennium eye on the stone wall starts shining. Isis says that the Wedjat Eye (A millennium eye on the stone wall), in this ceremonial battle, is looking through real spirits. At the same time, Yami Yugi is standing by his duel disk while everybody notices two shadows of Yugi on the ground. Also, little Yugi's appearance starts separating from Yami Yugi's body. Lastly, both Yugi become reality and faces against each other. Yami Yugi wonders whether little Yugi can beat him while little Yugi is certain that he can make it. Everbody is looking behind this ceremonial battle. The duel between Pharaoh Atem and Yugi has begun...
