Going across the Nile

Finally, Yugi, Jyoonouchi, Anzu, Honda, Otogi, Bakura and Sugoroku have reached a desert country, Egypt. Everything happened here 3,000 years ago. Pharaoh and his friends are returing to his a land of promise. This isn't a vacation for fun but it is the beginning of a long journey. Little Yugi is looking far through barren area. He decides that he won't call Yami Yugi as Atem until this journey finishes because both of them are sharing the same body.

At Cairo International Airport (Cairo = Capital City of Egypt), Jyoonouchi is looking a map, planning with the others the direction by air route to Luxor where the Valley of the Kings is situated on. Everybody is waiting for someone to pick him up. However, he or she thinks that he might come to a wrong place. Looking at his airmail, Yugi says that this place is correct following the direction. Then he takes a picture out from it. In the picture, there is a sign of a millennium eye engraved on the wall and broken apart. Everybody is wondering what the sign means. After that, Jyoonouchi starts complaining for waiting too long. He suggests the others go together to have some sightseeing especially Pyramid while Bakura agrees to go Cairo Museum as well. Anyway, Sugoroku tries to stop them and tells them that they have come here for an important mission. Meanwhile, Honda is sleeping because of bad food.

Suddenly, Rishid and Malik appears to pick them up. Everybody is very happy to see each other again, although they came very late. Malik tells everybody that he has to change his plan of going to Luxor. Because there will be sandstorm, Luxor's airport is closed. Anyway, his sister, Isis, can provide some cruise from the Egyptian government.

At a seaport, Isis welcomes everybody to Egypt and greets Yugi. She believes that he has gathered all millennium items. Anyway, Yugi tells her that the last two items are in Egypt. A member of tomb guardian reports that a tablet of Pharaoh's memory is located in a temple underground. Anzu realizes that it is the place where Pharaoh has to go back. Then while Yugi is going ask Isis the meaning of a sign of broken millennium eye in the picture that Isis sent to him, Malik calls everybody up to the cruise. Everybody is very excited by floating along the Nile. In ancient Egypt, a ship was used for transporting people even the kings to a land of death. Anzu can't believe what she is hearing. Then Yugi asks Malik and Isis again about the meaning of the millennium eye picture. Malik says that it is written the way to return the king's soul the world of death. After placing seven millennium items back on the tablet, Yugi has to use another key to open the door, which is Pharaoh's real name. Malik is glad to hear that Yugi has already recovered Pharaoh's lost name as Atem. Also, he tells Yugi about another thing written is called a ceremonial battle (Tatakai No Gi) - "The king holding a sword can't have neither a journey nor a rest". Jyoonouchi is very curious what it means. Malik explains that a sword is like a card. Keeping on thinkgin, little Yugi gets that if Yami Yugi doesn't put down his sword, he can't go in peace. That means someone is going to battle against Yami Yugi and defeat him. Malik agrees to his idea so. Then the sun is gone and the day becomes the night.

Anzu comes into little Yugi's room, seeing that he is arranging his deck. She asks Yugi what he thinks about the ceremonial battle coming when everybody reaches the Valley of the Kings tomorrow. Little Yugi thinks that Yami Yugi has been fighting for a long time. Yami Yugi now keeps himself inside little Yugi's mind and says nothing about this. Then Anzu says nothing and leaves Yugi with good night. She looks worried about something.

Moving out to the deck, little Yugi sees Jyoonouchi standing there. Both of them seem unable to sleep tonight. Floating along the Nile like this, they remind themself of the day when they travelled to Duelist Kingdom. At that time, Jyoonouchi was such a weak guy. Seeing Yami Yugi, he has become stronger. Then Jyoonouchi told Yugi to throw millennium items in the bag into the Nile. Yugi is getting scared of what Jyoonouchi said. In fact, Jyoonouchi is merely pulling around because he is reminding of what Haga ever did (Throwing Yugi's Exodia cards into the sea). Then little Yugi is getting serious, telling Jyoonouchi that he forgot to tell Yami Yugi something. He forgot to tell him that "His next duel is the battle against Yami Yugi". Jyoonouchi seems to please with little Yugi's serious face. Little Yugi intends to finish his last mission on a ceremonial battle. As a person who could solve a millennium puzzle, he has to duel against Yami Yugi and beat him...
