Zork is very shocked, seeing that Pharaoh activated his real name to fuse three gods and summon the creator of the light Horakhti. Powerful attack, Jesel, from Horakhti straight to Zork. Finally, Zork is destroyed despite of people's delight. Pharaoh Atem is thinking that although he could eliminate the monster from people's dark minds, Zork Necrophidius, he lost many friends, Shimon, Karim and Shada. Then Horakhti calls Pharaoh Atem and starts talking with him. Only lonely power of Pharoah couldn't recover Pharaoh's real name. Horakhti tells him that power of unity among friends, whose spirits really wanted to protect Pharaoh, was the important factor to release the name of the king.

Suddenly, everybody, little Yugi, Honda, Anzu and Jyoonouchi jump over Yami Yugi and congratulates his victory. He or she knows that Yami Yugi could do it. Anzu asks Yami Yugi whether his injury is serious. Anyway, all of them have just realized that Yami Yugi is no longer neither "Yugi" nor "another me" because he has already got his own name. Yami Yugi tells them that it isn't a big deal. However, Anzu starts calling Yami Yugi as Atem. Hearing that his friends called his real name, Yami Yugi starts feeling strange. He has shared Yugi's name with little Yugi until now but this time he feels different. Similary, little Yugi feels a bit sad with Yami Yugi but he still feels glad with him. Then Atem (I will start calling his name from now on) thanks Anzu for her pendant cartouche and everybody for coming in this world and helping him find his lost name. Jyoonouchi calls him "Atem Kun" and says that it doesn't matter. No matter what happens or wherever they are, they are friends forever. Their relationship has never changed.

Anyway, the earth starts shaking again. Although Zork was already destroyed, the destruction hasn't finished yet. Pharaoh asks Mana and Isis who have remained. Isis tells him that she hasn't seen neither the dark priest Akunadin and the priest Seto. Knowing that, Pharaoh Atem tells little Yugi, Jyoonouchi, Honda and Anzu, who aren't people in this ancient world, to go back to the present world while he will remain in this world to see what is going on next. Everybody concerns about Atem and asks him follow him later. Atem gives a promise to his friends that he will finally return to see them again in the present world. Then four of them start running away while Isis is thanking them for help. Seeing his friends flying up to a millennium puzzle into the sky, Pharaoh Atem is thinking about Seto. He also feels darkness which has remained in this world.

On the other side, Seto is holding Kisara in front of a blank tablet stone. He is expressing his grief and feeling sorry to her. She lit the light his mind, being swallowed by darkness. Then Seto hears Kisara's voice calling his name and saying that her light mind would like to protect him. At the same time, the dark priest Aknadin is groaning when he knows that Zork Necrophidius was already destroyed by Pharaoh's god, Horakhti. He hopes his son will defeat Pharaoh and become the king. At present, Seto's mind is full of hatred to his father. However, he knows that he can't fight against Akunadin whom he has respected to. Putting off his mask, the dark priest Aknadin slowing steps closer to the earth's crack. He tells his son that Seto is a part of his blood and body. Also, he will give his spirit to him. Saying that he really loves his son, Akunadin jumps into the crack. Seto is being shocked. He hasn't realized that his father is planning to let him be the king of darkness by his soul. Suddenly, someting comes straight into Seto's mind.

Finally, Pharaoh has come into the royal palace where is mostly destroyed. Seto is standing on the battle stage with some soldiers behind. He has been waiting for Pharaoh. Pharaoh is amazed by him. Seto tells him that now Pharaoh is like the king without the throne when the palace was already destroyed. He will defeat Pharaoh and become the new king. Behind Seto, there is a tablet stone with Blue Eyes White Dragon and an image of Akundin who seems to control Seto. Had the unavoidable destiny begun...

The duel of destiny 3,000 years ago between Pharaoh Atem and the priest Seto is going to begin...
