I won't
give up
Bakura
plays such a great combo to destroy Yugi's deck. By an effect of a permanent
magic card, Kill
the Dead Treasure (Shisatsu Sousai), it lets both players leave their
cards from the decks into their cemetries at the end phase of every turn.
Bakura has had no cemetry because of the effect of Curse
Necross (Noroi No Necross), so only Yugi has to leave his cards into
the cemetry. The number of left cards is equal to the number of total
monsters on the battle field. Yugi really wonders if he has some possibility
on his hand to destroy this strategy.
Turn comes to Yugi. He draws and gets a magic card, a
devil seal barrier (Mafuuheki). All of his friends are also thinking what Yugi should do.
The more monster he summons, the more cards he has to leave into the
cemetry. Jyoonouchi thinks that Bakura merely finds the two monsters
as the wall to protect himself because Yugi can't attack by the third
monster following the effect of Narrow
Cloister (Semaki Kairou), and waits until Yugi loses when Yugi's deck
is totally destroyed. Then Yugi sets up a card and lets Silent Swordman
level 6 and Silent Magician level 2 destroy two wall monsters, Necro
Mane King and Necro Soldier. At this point, Bakura activates a magic
card, Multiply, which can increase the number of monster having power
up to or less than 500. As a result, Necro Mane King is mutiplied up
to 10 monsters. Yugi is much getting in trouble that the number of monsters
are increased instead of being decreased. Jyoonouchi thinks that this
is horrible. It means that Bakura's has totally 12 monsters on his field.
Including three monsters of Yugi, the number of left cards on Yugi's
end phase is 15 cards. Next turn, Yugi's deck will be totally destroyed
and he will be finally defeated. After attacking and moving to Yugi's
end phase on this turn, Yugi has to leave 15 cards into his cemetry.
Anyway, his LP is up to 7000 (4000+15*200) by the effect of the red box
he chose from Curse Necross (Noroi No Necross).
Move to Bakura's turn. Though he does nothing in this turn, Yugi is
going to lose in the next turn. Anyway, Bakura still summons a monster, Necrophia, in an defense and ends his turn. He is much certain that Yugi's
deck will be totally destroyed at the following turn.
Turn
is coming back to Yugi. His fighting spirit is leaving. He dare not
draw a card and he thinks that if he is defeated, he will disappear
under the rule of a shadow
game. Anyway, Jyoonouchi cheers him up. He says that if Yugi is a true
duelist, he has to draw a card and has not to give up until the end.
That reminds Yugi of Yami Yugi's prior battles. Yami Yugi has never lost
his hope and given the game until end. Yugi would like to keep the promise
to find the real name of Yami Yugi. Accordingly, he must beat any enemy
to accomplish his mission. When Yugi finally gets his spirit back, he
draws the final key card while Bakura is smiling for the future victory.
Then Yugi sacrifices two monsters, Mashu Melon and Silent Magician, to
summon a great monster, Destructive Dragon Gondola (Hakai Ryuu
Gondola 8 stars).
Bakura is much being scared. Yugi activates Gondola's special magic ability.
Paying a half of LP, Gondola can totally destroy monsters on the field.
Bakura thinks that it means that Yugi's monsters must be destroyed. Then
Gondola launches its scatter beam to destroy all Bakura's devil spirits.
However, Yugi's monster, Silent Swordman, still remains on the field
despite of everybody's surprise sight. That is because Yugi faces up
his magic card, a devil seal barrier
(Mafuuheki), which can protect a player's monster from any magic
attack. Continuously, Yugi lets Silent Swordman powered up to level 7
directly
attack Bakura. Bakura's LP becomes 0 and he is finally defeated. Bakura's
body gradually disappear into darkness while Yugi's friends are running
toward Yugi...
