After the fall of Pharaoh Yugi, the memory world has been turned into darkness, and another memory is running. time ago. A person who understood the magic in the book could obtain power
of controlling gods and demons. If it was in the enemy's hand, the world
might be distorted beyond repair. No one had ever been able to understand
the details in the book.

So the younger priest Akunadin revealed that he had been able to translate whatever was written in it. It was a technique of creating special metals that could be used in creating seven treasures with a concealed power of darkness. Akunadin with the other three sorcerers had already prepared for the ritual of creating those items. He required only 7 days to finish it. Pharaoh Akunumkanon realized that the world might be lead into darkness if that power was released. However, he had no choice and time left. So he allowed his brother, Akunadin, do as he wished because he trusted him.

Outside the palace, the priest Akunadin was preparing the army to go towards Kuruelna village also known as a village of thieves. The old priest turned back to see his young son Seto, who was standing beside a woman. After Akunadin's older brother Pharaoh Akunumkanon had become the king, Akunadin was his shadow which protected him and kingdom. He thought that both him and his son Seto were unable to be the kings. Then he had said good bye to his son, leaving to continue his mission with his army at Kuruelna village. Pharaoh Akunumkanon, with the queen carrying a baby Yugi, came to the corridor to send him off.

In order to create seven gold items, the ritual required the sacrifice of the lives of 99 people. Certainly, Pharaoh Akunumkanon didn't realize about such an evil detail. In Kuruelna village, the thieves were slaughtered by the army. Their bodies were boiled and used as material for the items. No one noticed that there was a young boy (Bakura) hiding himself and watching from the dark. Finally, seven of millennium items were created. The seven holders were also decided.
