[ Yu-Gi-Oh! Generations! ]

Prologue: 50 years after the memory of the Pharaoh Atem and the gods. 50 years after Battle City and the horrors of the Orichalcos. A new hero shall rises to heal the world from the forgotten evil.

[ Chapter 1: Memories of a Shadow Game ]

At a school a small group are gathered in the courtyard. A teenaged kid with spiky black and purple hair with blonde streaks calls out “ Now I Summon Gemini Elf in attack position!” He places the card on the duel disk and two female elves appear in front of the character “Now my Gemini Elf attack Tomo’s life points directly!”

“Thanks a lot Yunami,” exclaimed Tomo. “A card that powerful totally wraps me out.”

The two elves attack united and strike hard. The life point counter on Tomo’s duel disk wipes down to zero. Tomo drops his head in shame.

“You suck at this game Tomo,” said Maiko jokingly.

“You probably couldn’t do better,” Tomo said revengefully “as you are my twin sister.”

“Na, you did fine Tomo, I just have better cards,” exclaimed Yunami. “As you know my Dad owns the Game shop and I get all my best cards from him.”

“Lets go there after school,” suggested Seiko.

The gang of 5 enter the old Game shop. The lights are off and all is quite.

“Hey Dad,” said Yunami, “ Dad, are you here?”

“I guess he’s not in?” suggested Hitomi.

Suddenly a tall teenaged boy with brown hair slightly over his eyes storms in and points his right hand to Yunami. “Yunami, your father has disgraced mine for many a year and I want vengeance!” He pulls back his right arm and draws three duel monster cards and presents them to Yunami. “And my fathers three Blue-Eyes White Dragons will take you down.”

Yunami turns around a takes his fathers deck from behind the counter. “ The only way I can beat this guy is if I use my fathers deck,” he thought to himself. “I accept your challenge!”

“Fine then meet me at the new Kaiba Corp Duel Dome,” said the stranger as he walked out of the old Game shop. He enters the back of his limo and drove off. “Finally my father will have the justice he deserves.”

Yunami and the gang finally arrive at the Duel Dome and ride the glass elevator up to the arena. Just as Yunami gets off the elevator the door shuts leaving his friends trapped in the glass prison. “What have you done?” yelled Yunami.

“ They will be O.K, you be able to see them after our duel,” said a voice from a speaker.

Yunami then turns around and starts walking to the arena.

“Ahh, so you have finally arrived,” said the stranger.

“I now who you are, Kaiba!” announced Yunami.

“Actually my name is Ryu Kaiba, I am the son of Seto Kaiba and I did not come here to talk, I came here to duel.”

“Fine, It’s time to duel!”

“We will both start with four thousand life points.”

Both of the figures activate their duel disk and the life point counters come up with 4000.

“I will go first!” said Kaiba. “Draw!” “Now I will summon Blade Knight in attack position and then play two cards face down, your move Yunami.”

A Knight rises from the ground in front of Kaiba and two face down cards hovering behind it.

“Now it’s my turn and I draw,” said Yunami. “I summon Skilled Dark Magician in attack position.” A magician dressed in black rises. “ And I also place two cards face down.” Two cards appear face down on the field. Yumani starts to think to himself “Now my Skilled Dark Magician has an attack of 1900 and his Blade Knight has an attack of 1600 so I should win but I have a feeling that Kaiba’s face down cards are going to be traps so I should not attack but if Kaiba summon his Blue-Eyes White Dragon by sacrifice I am finished so I should attack.”

“Are you going to hurry up?” said Kaiba.

“O.K, now my Skilled Dark Magician attack his Blade Knight!” shouted Yunami.

“Prefect I activate my trap card Ring of Destruction.” The left face down card is revealed on Kaiba’s side of the field. “And I am going to use it on your Skilled Dark Magician and both players lose life points equal to the attack point of the monster it is used on.”

A giant ring wraps around the neck of the magician.

“But wait there’s more, I activate the magic card Ring of Defence which stop any damage my life points will take, so now my life points will stay protected whilst yours are almost cut in half.” smirked Kaiba.

“Oh no!” said Yunami in shock.

“Oh yes, Yunami! Now both rings activate!”

The ring around the magician neck blows up and blast takes 1900 life points off Yunami but the metal shield ring protects Kaiba.

Yunami: 2100 Kaiba: 4000

“Your move Kaiba.”

“Thanks,” said Kaiba as he due his next card from his deck.

“Now I activate the magic card White Dragon Ritual, so I tribute my Blade Knight so I can summon Paladin of White Dragon.” A white dragon appears ridden by a knight in silver armour and wielding two swords. “Now Paladin attack Yunami’s life points directly!”

“Not so fast Kaiba! I activate this card Magic Cylinder, which not only negates your attack but also inflicts damage equal to the attack of the monster.”

Yunami: 2100 Kaiba: 2100

“Damn, now I will sacrifice my Paladin for my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!”

“Oh no!”

“Oh yes, now my I have summoned my fathers ultimate monster!” “It’s your move Yunami.”

“Right, my move and I draw!” Yunami starts to think “ Hmm, most of these cards need sacrifices to summon and I have no monsters on the field. The only card I can summon is Big Shield Gardna but that want be able to with stand Blue-Eyes’s attack, but I have to try.” Yunami says “Now I summon Big Shield Gardan I defence position. A gigantic shield and a large man with spiky black hair crouching behind it materialises in front of Yunami.

Yunami starts to ponder, “Wait, what if I activate card destruction it will discard mine and Kaiba’s hand and we will draw a new one.” “O.K Kaiba, I activate Card Destruction, so discard your hand and draw a new one with the same amount of cards as your last.”

Both players do so and Yunami says; “Now I activate Card of Sanctity, which lets both players draw until they have six cards in there hand, now get drawing.” “Prefect,” Yunami mutters to himself.

“Now I use the magic card Monster Reborn to revive my Dark Magician Girl form the graveyard and I will also use Curtain of Black Magic to special summon my Dark Magician from my deck but I have to spend half my life points.”

Yunami: 1050 Kaiba: 2100

“Why are you doing this, none of your monsters are strong enough to take down my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!” smirked Kaiba.

“Yes alone but once I activate this card”

“What’s that?”

“It’s Magician’s Cross and it allows my two magicians to attack together with an attack of three thousand!”

“But that means that my dragon is venerable to attack.”

“ That’s exactly what it means Kaiba!” “Now my magician’s attack with United Dark Magic Attack!” shouted Yunami at the top of his voice.

Both the magician’s connect their staffs and a swirl of dark matter travels for the white dragon. The monstrous white dragon rears its head and breaths a blue lighting blast at the magicians. Both of the climatic attacks connect with such a force that both the white dragon and the magicians are disintegrated and sent to the graveyard.

“Now, it’s, your move Kaiba!” said Yunami exhausted.

“Right!” yelled Kaiba whilst drawing his new card from the top of his deck. “I play Monster Reborn to bring back my Blue-Eyes White Dragon.”

“Curses!”

“But not only that I activate the card Polymerization to fuse my reborn dragon and the ones in my hand to form Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” An immense three-headed dragon comes down form the sky. “Now my ultimate dragon attack and destroy his Big Shield Gardna.” The dragon rears its three heads and annihilates the shield and man. “ But since your Big Shield Gargna was in defence mode you don’t lose any life points.”

“Now it’s my move.” Yunami stats to consider his thoughts “ Right I only have these very weak monsters which see to been very similar like pieces of a jigsaw, wait I remember my father saying something about these cards.”

Flashback:

“ There is only one unstoppable monster but it can only be summoned by collecting all five pieces. This has only been done once and that was done by me,” said Yunami’s father wisely.

End flashback:

“ That must be it so I need to get all of the pieces.” “ So the best plan is to try and draw and I’m in luck as I have Pot of Greed”

“Now I use the magic card Pot of Greed, which allows me to draw two more cards.”
“Yes, perfect another piece of the puzzle now I have four,” Yunami murmured to himself. “Now reveal my other face down card De-Fusion which splits your dragon into its original three and also I activate the magic card Swords of Revealing Light!” Now swords made of pure light rain down on the three white dragons freezing them. “This will last for three turns!”

“ You are only prolonging the inevitable Yunami.” “Draw, End Turn,” said Kaiba.

“Draw, End Turn,” said Yunami.

“Draw, End Turn,” said Kaiba.

“Draw, End Turn,” said Yunami. “Damn no fifth piece, now I need believe in the Heart of the Cards that my father tells me too. But what if I don’t make it, what if I screw up, oh, I don’t know what to do.”

“Hey Yunami, u can do it,” said Seiko.

“Yeh just kick Kaiba’s butt,” said Tomo.

“Remember, we are all here for you,” said Maiko.

“Thanks you guys,” said Yunami cheerfully. (That bit and the friends bit was in his head.)

“Draw, End Turn,” said Kaiba. “ Now Yunami, draw your last pathetic card, so I can end this duel.”

“ My fathers deck has no pathetic cards but it dose contain Exodia!”

“No, that’s impossible that’s how your father defeated mine!”

A powerful being appears out of an enchanted gate. “Now, Exodia obliterate!” The being disintegrates the white dragons and the life point counter on Kaiba’s duel disk wipes down to zero.

“Yunami won,” said Seiko as she pulled her head up. Then the doors slide open and they were free.

There is nothing but darkness, then light streams in from what looks like a doorway. A man walks in and says, “ Sir, we have confirmed that Ryu Kaiba has lost the duel.”

“By Yunami,” said the new man with long light blue hair.

“Yes Sir.”

“Excellent, everything is going to plan.”
