Gi Oh! GX/Krypto the Superdog: The Shadow Games
] | episode 8-14 | [ Chapter 1 ] I do not own anything. Anything here would not of happened for real, and this would take place during the 7 Assassin Arc. If you like Yu Gi Oh!, know about GX, and love Krypto, enjoy this. Also, the environment and background is in anime, but all important characters of Krypto are the same. The theme song and ending theme is the same as the current arc, but with changes. I'll state what happens in a scene after each verse, but if blank, it means that it's unchanged. 99% Yu Gi Oh! Inside somewhere...a conversation is being held. "So then. You understand everything I said?" The voice of Lux is heard from the computer screen. "Of course." It's Mechanikat, "These, Duel Monster cards you've sent me. They'll not only help me, but help you get what you want. If the boy should come, I'll handle him just fine." The figure chuckles, "Then so be it." The screen turns off. "Snooky! Prepare the ship!" He's standing behind the chair. "We're going to Earth. It's time me and Superdog, to play a very, important game." We see the lower half of his face smile evilly. SP01: Unexpected Visit! The Mighty Dog Duelist! Meanwhile...We now go to the Duel Academia. Class with Chronos is going on. "So as you can see! When preparing a good trap combo, you must have the necessary things needed to make sure your plan succeeds! First, you need monsters that will throw your opponent off your plan. Second! You..." As he talks, Judai is under his desk, reading American comics. He snickers and enjoys reading the American newspaper. "Oh boy." He quietly tells himself. Sho looks at him, "Aniki. What are you reading?" Judai turns to him, "Me? Oh nothing." "Are you reading the American comics again?" "What? I love these kinds of comics. Especially when involves Superdog." Sho is confused, "Superdog?" Chronos hears the conversation. "Hey! What are you two doing! Yuki Judai!" Judai gets into his seat and sits straight. "Yes?" Chronos is mad, "Judai! Unless you are studying, you best pay attention!" "Oh. Yes Chronos sensei." Chronos turns around and walks toward his desk. He mumbles, "Why he has to guard one of the keys, I'll never know...Mama mia." He turns around. "Okay! Moving on..." As he talks, Sho asks Judai, "Who's Superdog?" Judai looks at Chronos. Then he quietly tells him. "Superdog is this super hero in America, who protects the same city as Superman. He's in a lot of comics throughout the world." Sho is intrigued. "Really?" "Mm hm. And he does a lot of cool stuff like Superman. Which is really cool." He takes out the comic page. "This is him." He points to a slide with Superdog on it. "Woah." Sho is awed. "Yeah. Most of these comics I read show him doing things he actually has done. Boy. It would be cool to meet him." Judai gets a exciting feeling, and Sho is worried. Chronos finishes up. "Okay class! I want you all to come up with your own set of card combos! I want a list of 50 Card Combinations that involve 3 or more cards!" Judai moans, "Aww man. Not 50. Anything but 50." Chronos acts like he heard that well, "Not 50 you say? Well then Mr. Judai. How about 100 then?" Everyone moans. "It's settled! List 100 Card Combinations! Due Wednesday!" The bell rings, "See you tomorrow class!" Everyone walks out, complaining. At their dorm, Sho is in his desk with paper and pen. He is in a crisis. "Oh man! 100 Card Combinations? I don't know if I can list more than five! Ugh." Judai is still reading comics in his bed. Hayato is making dinner on their japanese grill. "Maybe you should list the simple combinations. You know, like for fusions." Sho asks, "What? You think I should just list fusion combos?" "Why not? Chronos said he just wanted card combinations with 3 or more cards right? He never said they have to be similar. These combos involves making new fusions." Sho gets excited, "Great idea! I'll list every possible fusion on here and take it from the top!" He starts writing. "I already got ten in my head, and more are to come! I'll pass for sure!" Hayato looks at Judai reading his comic. "Hey Judai. Shouldn't you start your homework too?" "Nah. I'll do it tomorrow. Besides, I can always copy off Sho." Sho resents it, "Not this time! It's your fault we even have to list 100 things, so you're on your own this time!' Judai gets depesparate, "Aw come on! I didn't know Chronos would be crazy enough to do such a thing!" "Aniki." Judai slumps, "Fine. I'll start. Right after I finish reading this cool comic. Superdog is about to defeat a large robot attacking the city." Sho says, "Now I know that didn't happen." Then, Daitokuchi comes with a small stack of comics. "Hey Judai. I got some more unwanted comics for you." "Thanks. Put them under my bed, I'll find them." He goes ahead and does so, "Oh I know you will." Under the bed, there are a lot of comics. Sho and Hayato are shocked. "Aniki! How many comics do you have?" Judai answers, "Well...About twenty or so." Daitokuchi adds, "Make that thirty now. I added ten more when I came in." Judai smiles, "He he. I just love them." Sho asks, "Daitokuchi sensei, why do you give him all these comics?" "Why not? I don't need them anymore. After I read them with Pharaoh once, it just isn't funny a second time. Besides, Judai needs something to stimulate him, other than dueling. He needs to get the Shadow Game thing out of his mind for awhile." "Yeah." Judai turns a page of his comic. That night, everyone is sleeping. Judai squirms in bed, and then falls out of it. "Ugh. I need a drink." He goes to the sink, but no water comes out. "Faucet not working. Man." Later, he's outside at a drinking fountain, drinking water. "Ah! That hit the spot." He continues drinking. "Hey! What are you doing!?" Judai is surprised and nearly chokes on the water. He turns around to find Manjyome. "Manjyome? What are you doing here? Your faucet not working either?" He gets mad, "No it's working fine! I'm just taking a walk! Because some little pest kept bugging me and I needed to get away from him." At that moment, in Manjyome's room, the spirit of Ojama Yellow is relaxing on top of Manjyome's pillow while his brothers Ojama Black and Green jump on the bed, and responds as knowing he said that. "Now what would go and make you say that aniki?" Now back to him. Judai comments, "I'm guessing you don't get along huh?" "Bleh. Just why are you out without protection what so ever? Do you have your Dueling Deck with you?" "Uh....No?" Manjyome is disappointed. "Argh. Don't you know better? What if someone or something were to attack you right now? Instead of dueling you, they could just take your key and we'll be one step closer to doom! All because someone was stupid enough to leave his Dueling Deck behind!" Moment of silence later, Judai asks, "So what about you? Where's your Dueling Deck?" Manjyome is shocked of the question. "You..you just shut up! What I do is none of you business!" Judai asks, "Then why do you care what I do?" "Listen here! You're way too important to have a key lost! If something happens to you, we are doomed! So you need to be prepared for anyone that comes by and tries to get the keys! You understand!?" While he is talking, a large fire hydrant spaceship slowly passes by, and hovers over the Slifer Red dorm. Judai sees this while Manjyome yells, "Hey. What's that?" Manjyome turns, "Huh? Wha what!?" The large spacesuit sends out a tractor beam onto the dorm. Then, rising through the dorm and upward toward the ship, is a sleeping Sho and Hayato. Judai and Manjyome gasp. "Sho! Hayato!" Judai shouts as they are taken into the ship. "What the heck is that thing!?" Manjyome asks. "I dunno." Then the ship begins heading toward them. "But it's coming for us!" Judai says, and they make a run for it. The ship is getting closer. And soon, Manjyome trips and falls. "Ah! Manjyome!" Judai runs back to him. "No you fool. Get out of here! It probably wants you!" "I'm not leaving you! It could take you too!" The tractor beam hits them both. "I think it just did you idiot." They get pulled up, and they scream. The ship then takes off. Inside, Judai and Manjyome are unconsious. Judai wakes up, and finds himself in some strange room. He shakes Manjyome by the arm, "Manjyome, wake up. Wake up." He begins to wake up. "Ugh. Where are we?" Judai looks around, "I dunno." They both get up. "But where ever we are, we need to find Sho and Hayato. They must be around here somewhere." Manjyome doesn't care, "Heh. I don't care if we find them or not. For all I care, they could be in a cage somewhere." Judai worries, and runs toward a hallway. "Sho! Hayato!" Manyjome runs after him, "Get back here!" Eventually, Judai enters the control room. He looks around and looks upward at the glass ceiling and gasps. Manjyome catches up. "Judai! What if something finds you!?" "Manjyome..Look!" He looks up and is shocked. "What..Impossible. We're...we're in space!" They are indeed in space. They are freaked. "Have we been abducted by aliens?" Judai asks. "It can't be aliens! There's no way a bunch of aliens would wanna kidnap us!" "Hmm...I don't know." Judai walks up a small bit of stairs, toward the main control panel. He finds Sho and Hayato. "Sho! Hayato!" They are unconsious on the floor. Manjyome checks on them. "Seems they're alive." They begin to wake up. Judai is relieved. "Sho, Hayato." Sho speaks first, "Ohh...Aniki. Where are we?" "It's okay Sho. Everything's gonna be okay. We'll find out how to get home." Hayato gets up, "But what's going on? Is this some kind of dream?" Manjyome replies, "Well if it is, then I wouldn't be in it." Judai goes to the control panel. He doesn't understand a thing. "These controls are so...so...I don't understand this at all." Hayato says, "Try pressing buttons, and see if something happens." "Okay." Judai is about to push something. "I wouldn't touch that if I were you." They all wonder who that was. Then, a door opens and what appears to be an purple Afgan dog on a pillow floats into the room. "The controls are quite difficult for humans to understand. I strongly advise not touching them." Everyone gasps. "Did that dog just speak!?" Sho exclaims. Manjyome is shocked, "Now I know this is a dream. The kind Judai would dream." Judai felt insulted. Judai asks, "Say, just who are you? Why have you taken us here?" "I'm glad you asked." The dog replies. Then, 6 more dogs come in. One by one, they introduce themselves. "The name's Bulldog mate." The dog makes large horns come out of his head. "Hello pardner, I'm Tail Terrier." The green dog spins his tail like a rope and uses it to grab Judai from the control panel, and pull him to the floor below. "Ouch!" He is freed and his friends come to him. "I'm Tusky Husky." THe blue dog makes a large tusk come from his mouth, and it spins like a drill. "Hotdog!" The red weenie dog begins emmiting heat. It's making Sho hot. "Woah. That's hot." Then the small pink dog enlarges herself, "I'm Mammoth Mutt!" She bounces up and down, and it shakes Judai and the others. "Hyuck, I'm Paw Pooch." The man legged dog begins to grow taller with his legs. Then the purple dog speaks. "And I'm Brainy Barker. And we are, the Dog Star Patrol." It shows an over shot of the ship again. Judai and the others are in awe. Manjyome makes a comment, "So we're being abducted by dogs?" Judai asks, "Wait. You guys are the Dog Star Patrol?" They nod. He gets excited, "Awsome! I know you guys now! I remember reading one comic with you guys in it and Superdog!" "Wait. They were in comics?" Sho asks. "Yeah. It was during the time in which they helped stopped an evil mad man from destroying Metropolis." "Oh." Them Manjyome asks him, "Is that all you do Judai? Read comics?" Judai giggles with his head behind his head. Brainy Barker floats over to them, and lands in front of Judai. "So you are Yuki Judai of the Kaiba Corporation Duel Academia?" Judai replies, "Why, yes I am." "Judai. We need you and your friends assistance." They are confused. Brainy Barker's ears rise as she closes her eyes. An image shows. "Aniki. What's she doing?" "This is her power of telepathy. She's showing images of stuff through her mind. She can even read minds too." Then Hayato asks, "You think she can help find the TV remote?" Anyway, she shows an image of another ship. They are in awe. "What's that?" Judai asks. Brainy explains, "This is the ship of Mechanikat. One of our most wanted villians in the galaxy." Manjyome isn't impressed, "What a dull looking ship." "And this is Mechanikat." The image shows him, and they are shocked. "Mechanikat is feared to those who know him too well. We always try to stop him from doing harm to the universe, and of course, Earth." Judai asks, "What's he doing now?" Brainy continues, "Recently, he's been doing something that we never expected him to do before. Somehow, he's making real live monsters and attacking Metropolis." It shows the monsters doing so. Judai gasps, "No way!" "Real Duel Monsters?" Sho asks. "Yes. Apparently Mechanikat is now able to bring forth real monsters from the cards. But that ain't everything. For some strange reason, people have been disappearing. From what we have found, they are being turned into cards." "Cards? Is that..possible?" Judai asks. Brainy nods. "Apparently so for him. We don't know how he is able to do this. Some other power must be at work. I sense dark powers." Manjyome wonders. "Hmm...." Then he speaks to Judai, "Hey. You don't think it has to do with the Shadow Games, do ya?" "I dunno." Judai thinks. "But why would the 7 Assassins want to have someone else have Shadow Powers? Just for amusement? Or are they just giving them out?" Brainy stops showing her images. "Judai. We believe that all this could be related to recent events going around the Duel Academia." "So you know about the Demon Gods?" "Yes. I know a lot of things, like how you are starting to become quite a student at your school. That's why I want you and your friends to help." They are surprised. "Us?" "Yes. However." Judai wonders, "However what?" "I'm not forcing you to help, but will you help us defeat Mechanikat? If so, then I must perform a test to see if you are truely capable of such a task." Judai turns to his friends. "Hear that guys? Looks like the world is in trouble. We should really help." Manjyome argues, "We don't have time to be in some stupid dog and cat chase! We have more important things to worry about! Like the Duel Academia, and the Demon Gods." But Sho says, "But she said that this could be related to what we are experiencing." "Could, yes. But could, I don't think so. Even if it's true, why should we bother? I say we just forget the offer and demand we head home." Judai nods. "Okay then! We've decided to help." Manjyome shouts, "Weren't you listening to me!?" "Very well. Then on behalf of the Dog Star Patrol, you are now temporary members of the team." They begin to howl. Manjyome butts in, "But hold on! We don't even have our stuff! And some of us isn't fully dressed right!" Manjyome is in his black uniform, while Judai and the others are in their pajamas. "Don't worry," Brainy says, "We're fully prepared. Just look behind you." They do so, and they find their clothes and Duel Disks. "Our tractor beam not only took you in, but it also took some of your clothes, your Duel Disks, and your decks." They put on their Duel Disks and check their decks. "Everything seems to be here," Sho says checking his deck. Hayato agrees, "Yeah. It's alright now." Judai agrees. Manjyome gets disappointed when he sees his three Ojama cards. "Great. Why couldn't they of just left you three?" Brainy heads toward a hallway, "Follow me now." The Dog Stars follow her too. "Hey wait up!" Judai and the others run after them. Now they are in the Training Room. The Dog Stars are on one side, and Judai and the others on the other. Brainy Barker floats down to a spot on their side, and some Dueling Panel appears in front of her. "Judai. In order to truely see you as a member in helping us defeat Mechanikat, you and I are gonna duel. Of course, if you can defeat me, you will be able to help us." Manjyome doesn't like the idea, "Why is it always Judai?" Judai steps up. "If it's a duel you want, then I'll be glad to duel you." "Hmm..Then let us begin." Five card holograms pop up in front of Brainy. Judai activates his Duel Disk. They both shout, "Duel!" (4000/4000 LP) Brainy starts, "I'll start. Draw!" A card is added in front of her. "For my move, I'll set a monster in defense mode. That ends my turn." Judai goes. "My turn! Draw!" He draws. "I summon E-Hero Bubbleman (ATK 800)! Since I summoned him when I don't have any other card out in play, I get to draw 2 more cards from my deck!" He does so. "Now I play, Polymerization! It allows me to fuse Bubbleman, along with Sparkman and Avian!" Sparkman and Avian appear for the fusion, and they do so. "So I can form, E-Hero Tempester (ATK 2800)!" Sho gets excited, "Go Aniki!" Brainy is impressed. "Nice monster." Judai isn't done, "But I'm not done. Now I play the Magic card, Hero Burst! This card allows one of my E-Hero Fusion monsters to attack directly this turn. And since Tempester is a fusion monster, he can do just that." Tempester prepares an attack. "Tempester! Attack! Hydro Cannon!" Tempester attacks Brainy with his cannon (1200/4000 LP). Sho and Hayato are enjoyed, and Manjyome just sighs. "Least he's winning." Tail Terrier is impressed, "Wowzers. That there is sure a dandy monster." Hotdog says, "Heh. That's not a problem." Judai continues his move, "I'll set two cards face-down! I end my turn." Brainy goes. "My turn, Draw!" Another card appears. "Judai. That was a good move. But now it's time for my counterstrike. You prepared." Judai is more prepared than anything. Breakcut: Judai in his pajamas and Tempester, and then Brainy Barker with Brain Jacker. The duel continues. "Reveal monster! Brain Jacker!" The monster appears (ATK 500)." Sho wonders, "Brain Jacker?" Manjyome explains, "Brain Jacker is a monster that can attach itself to any monster the opponent has if it is flipped, and is still in play." "Aw! So that means she can take his monster." Judai growls. "Brain Jacker! Attach yourself to E-Hero Tempester!" Brain Jacker flies over to him, and wraps itself around him. "Tempester!" Judai cries to his monster, but then it floats over to her side of the field. "Tempester is mine." "Grrr..." "Tempester! Attack with Hydro Cannon!" Tempester attacks Judai directly, who is knocked back a bit (1200/1200 LP). "Judai!" Sho shouts. Manjyome thinks, "Wow. That was unexpected." Judai gets back up. "Activate trap! Reveal Cross Heart! Whenever I take damage from one of your monsters, it becomes mine. So return to me Tempester!" Tempester does so. "Since this is permenant, it cancels off your monster's control effect." "Yes. But it still remains on your monster. And you'll gain life points during each of your turns. But I have something for that. So first, I'll set 2 cards face-down, and then summon Spirit of the Breeze in defense mode (DEF 1800). I end my turn." Judai goes, "My turn! Draw!" Brainy makes a move, "Reveal trap! Bad Reaction to Simochi! This trap makes it so that instead of gaining Life Points, you begin to lose Life Points instead. Since Brain Jacker gives you 500 Life Points during your turns, you will instead lose them." Brain Jacker's eye glows, and Judai starts glowing. He starts to sneeze. "Achoo! That's smarts (1200/700 LP)!" Sho wonders, "If Judai doesn't do something, he'll lose his Life Points!" But Hayato says, "But if Judai drew a monster with 1200 ATK or more, he'll win." Manjyome says, "Then he better not screw up." Judai continues, "Okay. Let's see." He sees the drawn card, which is Burstinatrix. "Yes! Now I summon, E-Hero Burstinatrix (ATK 1200)! Once I destroy your Spirit, I'll hit you with with a double helping of fire." Brainy says, "You sure? I wouldn't say that with this trap card out. Cause I activate, Gravity Bind! This makes it so that monsters Level 4 or higher cannot attack. Sorry, but you won't be destroying anything for awhile." "Aww.." Sho worries, "Now what?" Hayato doesn't know, "I don't know. This doesn't look good." "Aniki! Don't give up!" He goes on, "Err...I end my turn." Brainy goes, "Before I draw, I'll activate my Solumn Wishes trap card. It gives me Life Points each time I draw a card. And since I'm drawing a card, I get 500 Life Points." A card appears (1700/700 LP). "Now I play this magic card, Hinotama! This allows me to inflict 500 damage to your Life Points, so enjoy this while you can." Fireballs come from the sky, and hit Judai (1700/200 LP). "Boy, he's in a bit of a whicket eh?" Bulldog asks. "He's gonna lose unless he does something." Hotdog says. "Aniki..." Sho is worried. Manjyome remarks, "So much for a career in hero business." Judai stands up. Brainy asks, "You gonna be alright? Maybe you should give up." "Eh, no way! I trust my deck, so I know I'll find a way out of this!" She smiles, "Well then, I hope you do. Because in just a moment, you are about to lose the rest of your Life Points." "I know. But I'll get out of this somehow." "Good luck. Cause I end my turn." Judai thinks to his deck, "Alright. This could be the last turn. Come on deck, don't fail me now." He slowly puts his hand to draw. "My turn, Draw!" He draws, then smiles. "Yes!" "Huh?" "I drawn the card that will save me from your Brain Jacker. So before his effect will take effect, I use this magic card, De-Fusion! This will separate my fusion monster back into the three monsters that formed it!" Tempester disappears, and Avian (ATK 1000), Sparkman (ATK 1600), and Bubbleman (ATK 800) reappear. Brain Jacker is destroyed. "Interesting move." Judai continues, "And now...It's time for me to take care of the rest of your Life Points. Since Avian and Burstinatrix are Level 3 monsters, they aren't affected by your Gravity Bind." "Yes, but my monster has a higher defense than your two monsters. You won't be able to destroy it anyway." Judai grins, "That's what you think. Since Sparkman is out, it's time I use his special weapon. So I'll use, Spark Gun!" A gun appears and Sparkman grabs it. "With this, I can change the Battle Position of any monster on the field. I can do it only three times, but I'll only need one for your monster. Sparkman! Change her Spirit of the Breeze to attack mode!" Sparkman aims, charges a shot, and fires away, changing it to ATK mode (ATK 0). Brainy panics, "Now my monster is defenseless!" "That's right. And now to finish off, Burstinatrix, attack her monster! While Avian, attack her directly!" Burstinatrix produces fire in her hands, and sends it at Spirit of the Breeze (500/200 LP). Then, Avian flies at her, and slashes her with his claw (0/200 LP). "Gotcha!" His friends cheer, "He did it! Aniki did it!" Manjyome isn't really impressed, but glad for him. The Dog Stars are upset. "Awww, she lost." Tusky says. "Oh well. Can't win them all." Bulldog says. Brainy's duel panel disappears, as to the holograms. "I didn't think it would end this way. But you really are as powerful as they say." Judai's friends go to him as he says, "He he. You were great too. Especially for a dog. I was glad to duel you." She smiles, "You are very kind." Later, in the control room, Judai and the others are in their academy clothes, except for Manjyome of course. He's already wearing his black uniform. "Judai. Since you will be helping us, you must wear these." Bulldog brings in a box full of colars. They are amazed, except for Manjyome, "Do we have to wear them around our necks like a dog?" "Oh no mate." Bulldog says, "You can just wear them around your wrists." They do so. "These are cool," Judai says. Sho has a little problem putting his on, but gets it on. Brainy goes to a door. "Now then. We'll be sending you to Metropolis, where Mechanikat is sprewing trouble. But to accompany you, we'll have you go with..." The door opens. A white paw is shown stepping in, and Judai and the others are surprised. Judai mutters, "Su...Superdog?"

[ Chapter 2 ] Continuing on, Judai and the others are about to meet Superdog. As he walks into the room. "Woah." Judai is awed. "It's really him...Aww." He faints. "Aniki?" SP02: The Wicked Shadow Game! Machines vs Plants! "Aniki. Aniki wake up!" Judai is unconsious. "Bah. I knew something like this would happen. Clumsy idiot." Manjyome comments. Judai begins to wake up. "Hey. You okay?" Judai looks as Superdog asked him that. "You must of fell unconsious. Something wrong?" Judai stutters. "You...you really are..are Su..Superdog. Cool." "Well yes. But you can call me Krypto." "Krypto..Oh how I wanted to meet you for so long. And now, I get to meet a real live super hero!" Manjyome remarks to Sho, "That's it. He's going to the dogs." Krypto continues, "So you really are the Judai kid I heard about. I saw you on TV once." Judai can't believe it, "You did!?" "Yeah. I think you were dueling someone named Manjyome Thunder. That duel was cool until it turned off on the last turn." He sees Manjyome, "And you must be Manjyome himself." Manjyome corrects him, "That's Manjyome Thunder. If you're gonna call me by that name, you better add in the Thunder." Judai speaks, "You never let us call you that." "That's because it's dumb when you say it." Judai chuckles. Krypto backs up a bit. "It's nice meeting you. But we have more important matters to discuss. I'm sure that Brainy has gone over what has been happening." They nod. "Good. That makes things a lot easier to explain. As before, there are real monsters attacking the city. The monsters are the same as the Duel Monsters from the card game." Judai says, "And wasn't it because of Mechanikat? He did get Shadow Powers somehow." "Yes. But I think there's more to it. I don't know where he would be getting all this power from. And even so, there would have to be something to cause the appearances of the monsters. From what the police say, it could be due to a malfuction of the Duel Disks throughout the city." Manjyome adds, "Well would that be related to the time when this occured all around the world?" Sho asks, "You mean during the time when the weird events?" "Yeah. No one could explain it." And then Brainy says, "That time I didn't sense Shadow Powers. So that incident could be different from this." Krypto continues, "Anyway. For whatever reason, the monsters could be connected to Duel Disks in Metropolis. Who knows. If Mechanikat is using his new powers to provoke the holograms on the Duel Disks into real monsters, we don't know." Judai states, "But if everyone were prohibited from using a Duel Disk, wouldn't that stop the monster attack?" Hayato agrees, "Yeah. Surely there wouldn't be anyone stupid enough to try and duel during a crisis like this, since this is the cause of it all." Krypto goes on, "We have another thing. It's about the missing people. And how we found them as cards. I suspect that he is turning people into cards for some reason. Why is to be the question. But, I have finally been able to find one of these cards, only it's blank." He presses the mark on his collar to open a compartment, which contains a card. Judai goes over and takes it. He looks at it and gasps, "This is...The kind of Shadow Card that Fubuki had when he was one of the 7 Assassins." He remembers the time when he was gonna duel Darkness. Darkness explains the conditions of the Shadow Duel, in which the loser's soul is sealed into a card. Then, it shows a scene when Asuka finds the Shadow Card, it shows Fubuki's mask on the card instead of him. Judai knows well. "Yep. I think Mechanikat is working for the 7 Assassins." His friends gasp. "But then..." Sho wonders, "What would he do with all the taken souls? What do the 7 Assassins want with souls? Aren't they after our keys?" Judai holds his key, and Manjyome does too. Judai says to himself, "To release the Demon Gods, they need the 7 Keys. What do souls have to do with it?" Then, the alarm goes off. Everyone gathers upon the projector that shows the city of Metropolis. "Another monster attack." Brainy says. Manjyome asks, "Hey. If these monsters are real, why can't you handle them yourself? I'm sure you're capable of beating them." Brainy replies, "Unfortunately, none of us are able to destroy the monsters." Hotdog complains, "No matter what we do, our attacks don't do squat! It makes me mad knowing this." Mammoth Mutt agrees, "Yeah. And I can't even squish them." Brainy goes on, "Which is why we need you. We figured that only by destroying the monsters with your monsters can do it. As it would seem that Duel Disks from outside the city aren't affected by the Shadow Power." Manjyome argues, "And you picked us, why? If you got so many other candidates, why ask them? Unlike them, we have to attend school at the Duel Academia." "Because I sense that you are related to the situation." Manjyome wonders about this, "Wait. Huh?" "Don't worry. I know you'll figure it out eventually." Manjyome just remains silent. "Well then." He speaks, "What will we do about missing school? I'm sure our absense would mean something if we have disappeared." Judai panics, "That's right! And I still gotta do that paper! And I have no idea on what to write on combos! Ugh." But then Sho says, "But Judai, it's not due for awhile." Brainy smiles, "Don't worry. We already handled your situation." She produces an image with her mind. It shows clones of Judai, Sho, and Hayato in their dorm, sleeping. "You see. When we took you in, we also placed genetic copies in your place. They are exact replicas, and when you return home the copies will disappear." They are relieved, "Cool." Judai thinks. Krypto goes near a teleporter, "Oh. Before we go, you'll need these." A box appears in front of Judai. He opens it up. "What are these?" "Universal Communicators. They allow you to speak to anyone, even animals like me. Just put it on your right ear, no one will notice it." They put them on. "But..Can't we do that already?" Krypto explains, "The reason you can understand us is because you're on this ship." Brainy adds, "Yes. But I won't go into detail about how it's possible. It's better that way anyway." Judai gets it. Manjyome sees an extra in the box. "Hm...You gave us one too many." He takes it anyway, "Heh. Can't be too careful." He puts it in his pocket. Then Krypto, and then Judai and friends get on the teleporter. "I wish you luck Judai. You and your friends." Brainy says. Judai makes a peace pose with his fingers, "Don't worry! We'll do our best." Then some lights hit them, and they are teleported. The lights drop down into an alley way, and they reappear. "Where are we now?" Sho asks. Judai takes a peek outside the alley, "Woah. We're...we're in Metropolis." In anime style of course, is the city of Metropolis. We see shots of different locations, such as the Daily Planet, Metropolis Park, Lex Corp., mostly places related to Superman. His friends come out of the alleyway, and they are all amazed. "Wow." Sho is awed. "This is cool." Hayato comments. Manjyome isn't impressed as usual, "Heh. So this is Metropolis." They turn around, they see Krypto come out of the alley without his cape. "Krypto. Where's your cape?" Judai asks. "Well I think it's better that I just be normal, rather than being Superdog. Someone can get suspicious later on." "Oh. Gotcha." Manjyome looks around. There's no people here. "So. Aside from the fact that this place is deserted, where's the monster?" Then, some screaming is heard as some people run by. They look toward where they're running from, and they see a real live Great Moth (ATK 2600). Sho is shocked, "Oh my gosh! It's a Great Moth!" The Great Moth flaps it's wings hard, and some people are knocked back a bit. Manjyome is surprised too. "So they are real." Judai activates his Duel Disk. "Brainy Barker said that only other Duel Monsters can defeat these monsters. So it's time to kick some monster butt!" He draws a card, "I summon E-Hero Flame Wingman (ATK 2100)! Since this is a city, and if I'm correct for this kind of situation, it would count as the Skyscraper magic card! So Flame Wingman, attack Great Moth now! (ATK 3100) Dragon Burst!" Flame Wingman flies up to the Great Moth, and unleashes his flame, destroying the moth. "Yes! I did it!" Another monster chases some people into the park. They take notice. "Let's go after those monsters." Judai and his friends go after it. Then, Krypto does his little transformation with the cape and collar thing, then flies in that direction. They find the monster being an Insect Knight (ATK 1900). "Flame Wingman!" Judai declares his move, "Attack the Insect Knight!" Flame Wingman uses his fire attack, destroying the knight. "Take that." Another scream, from a little girl being attacked by a Man-Eater Bug (ATK 450). She trips and falls. She is about to fall prey to the bug, when it gets destroyed by another attack by Flame Wingman. "I'm unstoppable." Judai gloats. Manjyome speaks in, "Quit showing off. Look!" There's another monster appears under a sand box some kids were in. It's a Dungeon Worm (ATK 1800). Hayato gets his Duel Disk on. "Let me take this one!" He draws a card, "Go! Master of Oz (ATK 4200)!" The Dungeon Worm flips the sand box upward, and is about to eat the kids. But then Master of Oz punches it, destroying it. It then grabs the sand box, and the two kids that were in it. Then sets it back down. Sho wonders, "How many monsters can some people summon?" A policeman sees them. "Hey you kids!" He shouts to them, "You're not supposed to be operating a Duel Disk in the city! A monster could.." He is grabbed by a Rainbow Snake Enigma (ATK 2200), and it begins to squeeze him. Sho activates his Duel Disk, "I got him!" He draws, "Go Steam Gyroid (ATK 2200)! And then I use, Limiter Removal, to double his ATK (ATK 4400)! Get that snake!" Steam Gyroid aims it's copter blades toward the snake, and begins blowing at high speeds. This causes the snake to be sent flying, along with the policeman, and it gets destroyed. "Ahhhh!!!!" The man falls, but is caught by Krypto, and returned to the ground. "On second thought, continue what you're doing." He runs away. Now, more people are running from monsters less than 2000 ATK. Judai is ready, "Let's do this!" Manjyome holds him back, "Hold it. I have a faster way of handling those monsters. Just watch." He activates his Duel Disk. "I summon Armed Dragon Lv. 7 (ATK 2800)! Use your Special Ability! Genocide Cutter!" Armed Dragon's razor belly begins to spin and glow. Then, many cutters come out and slice through every monster chasing the people. Afterwards, no more monsters are attacking. Everyone cheers for them for saving them. Later, Krypto is in normal form, and they are walking outside of the city. "That was great work you did. You really saved the day out there." Judai feels proud, "He he. Those monsters didn't stand a chance." Manjyome is annoyed by his attitude, "Why did you have to be so annoying?" Krypto makes an announcement, "Listen. Since you're gonna be here for awhile, we should get you a place to stay. I can take you to Kevin's house." They are confused. "Who's Kevin?" Judai asks. "My owner. He knows about my secret by the way. So don't worry a thing." As they reach the neighborhood, Krypto gets a interesting surprise, "Looks like Kevin's finally learning how to duel." They look too. They see Kevin with a Duel Disk on, constantly drawing a card from his deck. He's following command of Andrea, also doing this and teaching him. "And draw! And draw! And draw! And draw!" She says, and Kevin is getting tired. "Can we stop? I'm getting tired." "Hey! You asked if I could teach you, and you're getting a lesson. So keep drawing!" They keep drawing. The others are rather scared of her methods. Sho says, "Wow. She's just like Misawa." He pictures her as Misawa. He is really scared. Kevin falls on his butt. "Phew. Too...much...drawing. What does this have to do with dueling?" She replies, "Simple. Perfecting the draw is the only way you'll get all the good cards. Besides, after this I'll teach you how to discard properly." Kevin gets upset, and falls on his back. "Fine. I'll be right back. I need to get my lucky deck. Be right back!" She runs off toward her home. Kevin goes to the street corner and sits down, then takes off his Duel Disk. "Maybe getting Andrea to teach me how to play Duel Monsters wasn't such a good idea." Then, "Hey Kevin. I'm back." Krypto comes up. "Oh hey Krypto." "What's wrong? You look like you were in a deep workout." Kevin sighs. "Yeah. It's Andrea. See, I wanted to get into Duel Monsters, so I got a Duel Disk. But....after getting Andrea to help me, she kinda started going over board." "So I see." Kevin sees his friends. He kinda panics a bit. "Oh no! I forgot you were here." Judai reassures him though, "It's okay. We already know. It's alright." Krypto agrees, "Kevin. These are some duelists from the Duel Academia." Judai introduces himself, "The name's Judai. Yuki Judai. And this is Sho, Hayato, and Manjyome." He corrects him, "Manjyome Thunder." Kevin gets excited, "Hey! I saw you two on TV once! You and Manjyome were in a duel!" Judai gets a happy look and puts his hand behind his head, "He he. Yep. We were on TV alright." "You kidding! You were so cool! You had all those moves, you uses super hero like monsters, you...." While hearing this, Manjyome gets annoyed. "Okay. I'm sure my defeat was more than impressive for you. Especially you Judai!" Judai chuckles. Andrea comes back with a laptop. "I'm back! And I even brought my laptop too. I have an excellent Dueling program and..." She stops as she sees Manjyome. She gets all excited, "It's you! It's really you Manjyome!" Manjyome gets spooked. Andrea rushes over to him. "You...You are the real deal! You're Manjyome Thunder of the Duel Academia!" Manjyome replies with uncertainty, "Umm...Yeah." "I'm your biggest fan! You are soooo cool! You are a really cool duelist!" Manjyome is kinda flattered, "Heh. Well I wouldn't say cool. Just the best." Andrea continues, "You are amazing! I made my own Manjyome Fan Site!" Manjyome is surprised, "Uhh...Fan site?" Andrea pops open her laptop, and types a bit. "Here." He looks at the screen, and is shocked, and like, . The others look and become like that too. "Isn't it cool?" The webpage shows many cool pictures of Manjyome. "I have a ton of information on you, and it's still coming. And I even have a counter for how many people have come to my site, and it's already at 50,000! And it was only out for a few weeks!" A shot with Manjyome in a cool pose is shown. Sho is shocked, "Wow. That's...uh..." Hayato continues, "So disturbing." "Wow. This is scary." Manjyome protests, "Will you guys shut it!? This is embarrassing!" Anyway, afterwards. "Anyway. My name's Andrea. You must be from the Duel Academia, just like Manjyome." Judai tries to act cool and acts, "Hey. You should know me. I'm Judai. You saw me on TV right?" "Yeah I know you. You're the Judai kid who dueled Manjyome. But I don't really care about that." Judai feels shot down and goes into a slump. Sho worries, "You okay Aniki?" Andrea continues, "Anyway, I'm busy trying to teach Kevin how to play Duel Monsters. But he seems to be not getting it." Judai is grumpy. "Yeah." He says to himself, "Cause the way you're teaching him is just like Misawa. So it's boring." Andrea heard that, "Boring?!" Judai tries to pretend it's not true. "I was about to show Kevin how a Duel works. But it's less exciting without an actual opponent." Sho asks, "So you were gonna duel yourself?" "No other choice. But, since you are here. How about one of you duel me? Especially you, Manjyome." She has her eye on him, but Manjyome backs up. "Umm..." "Come on? Who wants to duel me? I need to whoop someone's butt in the meantime." Judai, Hayato, and Manjyome are about to step forward. But then instead of going forward, they step back, leaving Sho in front. "Wha? Me?!" Andrea doesn't care, "Alright. I'll duel you then. Beating you should be fun." Sho is kinda worried. Breakcut: First shows the same breakcut scene for Sho and Steam Gyroid during episode 7, and then shows Andrea with her Woodland Sprite Now, Sho and Andrea are in Duel Positions, with everyone else on the sidelines. "Okay Kevin, watch carefully. You'll learn something." He replies, "Whatever you say, Andrea." She turns to Sho, "You ready to lose?" Sho stands firm, "I won't lose." Judai shouts, "Show her what you got Sho!" Sho nods. They shout, "Duel!" (4000/4000 LP) Andrea says, "I'll let you go first, since you're gonna lose." Sho replies, "Okay. Draw." He draws. He then smiles at what he has. "This will do. I summon Steamroid in attack mode (ATK 1800)! I end my turn." "You call that a monster? That thing is strange. Whatever, I draw." She does. "I summon Wild Plant, in attack mode (ATK 1900)." Judai is amazed, "Woah. Look at that monster. It's stronger than Sho's monster." Manjyome says, "Judai, if you haven't been paying attention, please watch what happens when she attacks." "Huh?" Andrea continues, "Wild Plant! Attack Steamroid now!" Wild Plant sticks it's vines into the ground, and it goes toward Steamroid. "He he. Your monster's toast." Sho doesn't think so, "That's what you think. Steamroid! Counter attack!" Steamroid goes into a position as acting like a real train, and charges for Wild Plant, while running over the vines below. "Huh? But how?" Sho explains, "When Steamroid attacks, or is attacked, he gains 500 ATK points during the battle. Since you attacked, his attack increases (ATK 2300)! Which leaves your plant in the dust." Steamroid runs over Wild Plant. Andrea is shocked, "No way." (3600/4000 LP) Kevin is surprised, "She lost a monster?" Manjyome explains, "You see. She failed to see the power of Sho's monster. If she had, she could of avoided that little traffic accident. Knowing your opponent's monsters is what makes being a duelist important." Sho begins his turn, "My turn! Draw!" He draws. "Without a monster, you are defenseless. So now, I summon Gyroid (ATK 1000)! This monster can't be destroyed as a result of battle, but only once per turn. Anyway, Steamroid, Gyroid, attack her life points directly!" Steamroid charges, "Since Steamroid is attacking, he will get 500 ATK points for this attack." Steamroid hits Andrea, "Ah!" (1300/4000 LP) Then Gyroid knocks her down (300/4000 LP). Judai gets excited, "Nice one Sho!" Sho turns to him happily, "Thanks Aniki!" As she gets up, "You okay? Maybe you should.." Kevin suggestion is cut off. "No no. I'm fine. I was just caught off guard. I never thought he'd be this good. But I have everything under control." Sho continues, "I play this face down. I end my turn!" "Then it's my turn." She draws. "Okay tough guy. It's time I get serious. So now I play, Woodland Sprite (ATK 900)." "Woodland Sprite?" "Yes. This monster can do some painful things to you. I can send any equipment card attached to it to the graveyard, and inflict 500 points of damage to your Life Points." Hayato wonders, "But if she gives it a powerful magic card, then it would be weak again." Manjyome adds, "Unless she plans on protecting that Sprite." Andrea continues, "Now I play, Sprite Bow!" Soon, a wooden bow appears and Woodland Sprite takes it. "This little card can only be used by Woodland Sprite. When it's sent to the graveyard, it returns to the top of my deck. Plus, it adds 500 more points of damage when it's sent by Woodland Sprite uses his effect. Now watch this!" Woodland Sprite points it's bow at Sho, who freaks. "Now my sprite, fire away! Use your effect!" Woodland Sprite's bow forms a green energy arrow, and it fires at Sho, he gets hit. (300/3000 LP) She laughs, "Had enough yet?" The bow disappears. "And now I'll just place this at the top of my deck." She does so. Judai is astonished. "Wow. Now she can use it's effect again when she draws it." Manjyome explains, "Wow Judai. You really do state the obvious. Just because it's true, we don't know if she'll hold off her offense for long." "I'll set this card face down and end my turn." She then thinks, "He won't know what will hit him once he gets a hold of my trap card." Krypto sees the trap and uses his X-Ray vision on the face down. It is Gravity Bind. He thinks, "Hmm...Gravity Bind. Now I see." Judai shouts, "Come on Sho! Bring out the big guns!" Sho nods, "My turn! Draw!" He draws. He begins to think, "I was hoping she attacked. Then I could of used my face down Magic Cylinder on her. But if she's just gonna go on using her bow again, I have to end it now." In his hand, he has Polymerization *which he drew*, Limiter Removal, UFOroid, Jetroid, and Patroid. "Okay! Now I play, Polymerization! This lets me fuse together my two monsters!" Steamroid and Gyroid begin to fuse. "To form, Steam Gyroid (ATK 2200)!" "Nice monster. It's really cool." Sho agrees, "Okay Steam Gyroid, attack Woodland Sprite now!" Steam Gyroid begins to fly at it. Andrea is prepared, "Not so fast! I reveal the trap card, Gravity Bind!" Everyone else is shocked, except for Krypto, since he already knows about that card. "This makes it so monsters Level 4 or higher can't attack." Steam Gyroid falls down due to the card. "Steam Gyroid." Andrea laughs, "Too bad for him. Now I can continue my assault on your Life Points." Kevin wonders, "She's got him where she wants him." Judai assures him, "Don't count Sho out yet." Krypto thinks, "Hmm...I wonder if he has what I think he has." He uses his X-Ray vision on Sho's hand to see Limiter Removal, and then into his deck to find De-Fusion as the card underneath the top card. "Interesting." He talks to Kevin, "It looks like Sho is gonna win." "Huh? How do you know?" "Let's just say we find out, in two of his turns." Andrea makes her move, "Now it's my turn." She takes her card, "And I think you know what it is. It's my Sprite Bow!" The bow appears again, "Now fire away!" The bow is fired, and Sho gets hit (300/2000 LP). The bow disappears, "And with the bow on top of my deck, I'll end my turn." Sho goes, "My turn! Draw!" He draws, and is disappointed. "Grr...I end my turn." "Nothing eh? Well I have something." She draws, "Time to unleash my bow again." The process goes on, Sho is hit again (300/1000 LP). Judai is worried, "Sho is getting creamed!" Manjyome is disappointed, "Oh well. He can't even handle a little girl." Kevin looks at Krypto, who says, "Don't worry. Just watch." He does. Sho looks at his deck, "Come on deck. Don't let me down." He draws, then gets excited. "This is exactly what I needed. Now watch this!" She doesn't get it. "I play, De-Fusion! This will separate my Fusion monster into the two monsters that formed it!" Steam Gyroid returns to Steamroid and Gyroid. "Well unless you got a plan, you won't be attacking me anytime soon." Sho grins, "And that's where you're wrong." "Huh?" "Gyroid is a Level 3 monster, so he can attack. But more importantly, I'm about to add an important factor to it. It's power. For now I play, Limiter Removal!" Both his monsters begin getting bigger. "What are you doing!?" Andrea demands. Sho explains, "Limiter Removal doubles the ATK points of all my face-up machine monsters on the field (ATK 3600) (ATK 2000). Gyroid now has an ATK of 2000. So when he destroys your Woodland Sprite, you'll run out of Life Points!" Andrea is worried. "Go! Gyroid! Attack her Woodland Sprite now!" Gyroid rushes at Woodland Sprite at incredible speeds, then it destroys it. "Noo! My monster!" The Gyroid is destroyed, but right in her face, so she loses her Life Points (0/1000 LP). Judai gets excited and cheers, "Way to go Sho!" Hayato is excited too. Manjyome says, "Heh. So he actually wins another." Kevin is impressed, "Wow. He actually beat her." Krypto adds, "What I tell ya? I think he knows what he's doing." Sho goes to Andrea and offers his hand to get her up. "You did well." Andrea takes his hand and he pulls her up. "Well, I guess I was off today. But you were good." Sho is glad to hear it, "Thanks." Andrea goes to Kevin, "Listen. I think it's better you have these guys teach you how to play Duel Monsters." "You sure?" "No no, it's fine. I need to touch up on my dueling skills anyway. So I'll be sure to continue what they teach ya when they leave. If you need me, I'll be at my house. See ya!" She walks away. As Kevin waves goodbye, Krypto brings Kevin his Duel Disk in his mouth. "Thanks Krypto." He puts it on. Then goes to Judai, "I'm ready to learn to duel now." Judai doesn't know, "You sure you want to now? I mean we do have to.." Krypto nods, "It's okay. It's almost sun down, so you can go ahead and teach him." With that, Judai smiles, "Okay then! Time for me to teach you the art of Duel Monsters!" Manjyome begins to leave. Sho asks, "Where you going Manjyome?" "To find a hotel. I don't wanna listen to professor numbskull here teach his knowledge of Duel Monsters. I just wanna rest up for tomorrow. We have a very non important thing to do." Sho doesn't say a thing, as he leaves. Meanwhile, Judai just talks about Duel Monsters being a fun game.
[ Chapter 3 ] It is almost night time in the city. Manjyome is walking down

Kevin begins to ponder, "Hey. I have a suggestion." Krypto says. "Why
don't we go into your room Kevin and Krypto lead them inside the house. They quietly head
for the "Ah. Please to meet you three." Judai chuckles happily,
"Nice to meet Kevin asks, "Say mom. My friends parents have gone out,
and they can't They are in his room now. They are amazed at how neat it is. "What do you think?" He asks them. They take a look

"It is?" He Krypto is sure happy for Kevin. "Well then, shall we get

What are you doing Judai asks, "Who was that?" "My sister. She
comes in here all the time, Later that night, Kevin is waving out his bedroom window, "Good
night Judai sets out his sleeping bag, "This is gonna be an
experience. Sho sets his out, "I'm sure he's at some hotel right now
enjoying a nice And he's right. Manjyome is shown in the hotel's hot tub, but
he isn't Anyway...Hayato says, "Well I hope we find him again."
Sho gets into his Unaware to them, Mechanikat is watching them on a monitor on
his ship. Next morning, Kevin and Krypto takes Judai and his friends
to the Toy Sho wonders, "I hope he doesn't take too long." Inside, Judai begins to browse through the lineup of card packs.

form. After all the extra cards are placed into the bags, as to the
