[ Chapter 1: The Beginning ]

Bakura Ryou:(summary of the story) "This story was inspired to me by a dream I had. A very creepy dream. Something to do with The Ring/Ringu and Yu-Gi-Oh oh and one character from Tenchi Muyo. At first I did not understand how this would work out but I was able to see that this would make a good horror story. Please don't hurt me because this is my first horror fic! There is some pairings like Joey and Mai and Yugi and uh well it's a surprise. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I do.Oh and the ending is a huge surprise. Oh and the creepy girl is Samara/Sadako from Ringu (The Ring).

Discliamer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh....but I do own the world!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yami: *rolls his eyes* you wish..

Bakura Ryou: grrrrrr oh well here's the starting of the stroy and I'll make sure I'll torture Yami later on.

Yami: Hey!

Story Starts

There was a shrill murderous scream that shook the sky late at nght. Many people were awakened by this screech and looked outside to see the cause of it, but there was a problem to that. It was pitch black and the street lights seemed to be out of order. The house lights and night lights were not working as well. Traffic lights seemed to be out of order as well. Many that eagerly looked outside gave up hope and went back to sleep , for they could not see anything at all. It seemed as if nobody in their right minds would go out this late during the dark, in a pitch black area, but there was some one....some one different from the others.

She was no ordinary person, no she was not, for she was already dead. Her face was full of scars and who ever dared to approach her fell into the pits of hell right away. She was a gloomy person. Very gloomy indeed. No one ever dared to look at her face, for it was such a horrible sight. The only person she ever trusted, or believed was Noa. Why? Because he was as dead as her. She simply smiled at the thought of Noa. He had asked her to do something important for him. Again she smiled and her answer was.......
"I'd Love to."

Yugi woke up from a deep sleep and he was shaking terribly..
"Where am I?" he asked quietly. He looked around trembling with fear. The only thing he remembered was watching a tape with Rebecca and the others. After they saw the tape Rebecca was deadly quiet for the whole day.. That was all he remembered..Then he heard the sound of the others waking up.

The lights went on and that relieved Yugi. He looked aroud and was relieved to see the others were ok. He saw Joey, Serenity, Mai, Tea, Miho, Seto, and Tristan all waking up.

And Then:

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

It was Tea who had screamed. She had truned pale and was shaking all over. She

clapped her hands to her mouth and started pointing at the direction of the wall.
"L-look!!" she cried. "Over there!!!!"

Everyone gasped as they saw the horrible sight that she had spotted just right now. It was poor little Rebecca, but she was not alive.....no she was dead. Her body was limp and cold and very pale. It was covered in blood and there were nails struck threw her face. She was bleeding from the head and everyone ran back with horror.

Kaiba was not amused by this at all.

"What the hell is going on here?" he cried. He walked up to Rebecca and checked if she was faking. He moved back slowly and shook his head. "Nope she's not joking."

"B-but how could this happen?" Miho asked in a squeaky voice.

"Dunno," Kaiba said shrugging. "It seems as if there was a murder commited."

Mai fainted and Joey caught her quickly.

"Guys," he said. "This is not good at all."

"Ditto that buddy," Tristan said calmly.

Yugi stayed quiet while everyone chattered about what happened.
"Where's Yami?" He thought to himself. "I haven't heard from him all day..."
Yugi felt a light tap on his shoulder and he jumped in surprise.

"Don't worry so much Yugi....everything will be ok," Serenity said softly to him.

"Oh it's you," Yugi answered back a little shocked. "Well everything is not ok...Rebecca is dead and how do I know if the murderer will not get us all?"

"Yugi you know what I think?" Serenity asked him quietly. "I think you need some rest. You should take a nap. You really look tired."

Yugi nodded and sat on an old rickety chair. "How can I go to sleep?" he thought in his head. "I have so much on my mind....." and then he dosed of into a deep slumber.

He was having a dream....a strange one indeed. He saw everyone of his friends, even the ones that were not with him right now, all dead. He cried out in horror and began to weep in his misery. Even Yami was dead. His heart pounded in his chest and he felt fear. He knew he was next, for he was left all alone with nobody to protect....until he saw this strange glittering light. He wiped his tears and saw that the light was moving away from him quickly.

"Wait come back!!" he cried and his voice echoed threw the hallways he was running in. "Come back!"

Then all of a sudden something grabbed him and he tried to break free.

"Hold still!" he heard a girls voice cry.

Yugi broke free from her grasp and he looked at her and was shocked. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She had pink long hair and she smiled at him completely. She was wearing all black and she gave a fake cough *ehem*.

"I'm sorry to be interrupting your strange dream but I had to come here in your thoughts to speak to you," she said. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Washu."

Yugi was still staring at her and was speechless.

"Well I already know who you are, you're Yugi Motou," Washu said. "I wanted to come here to warn you that you and your friends are in danger. There is a woman by the name of Samara (Sadako) who wants to see you all dead. She is of course going to try to kill you all. Oh and you're also wondering how I got here in your dreams right? Well it's a brilliant machine I designed that brought me here to talk to you. In reality I'm sitting right next to you also dozing away."

Yugi was amazed at how someone could say so much and still not take a breathe after that.

"Why does she want us dead?" Yugi asked.

"Well that's a mystery," Washu answered. "Anyways I'm about to wake up and so are you so uh just wait until it happens."

Yugi woke up instantly and he saw that Washu was also awake. He gave her an encouraging smile until...

"ARRRGGH!!! NOOOOO!!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!"

Washu and Yugi both ran down the steps and they saw that the hallway downstairs was crowded with Yugi's friends.

"Not Agian," Kaiba said shaking his head.

Yugi saw Joey trembling and he was ghost white. He seemed to be crying, but why? Yugi looked over his head and he gasped. "Oh no."
This time it was Serenity. Covered in thick blood. She was gone and Joey knew it. He stared at his sister's dead body and he sobbed even harder.

"SERENITY!!!!" He cried.
Mai watched Joey sadly and she tried to comfort him.

"I-i'm so sorry Joey," she said quietly.

He didn't here Mai's apology and continued to cry over Serenity's death.

"She's gone," he said softly. "That's it....no more little sister...she left me..."

Yugi frowned.

"Why does this have to happen to us?" Yugi said sadly. "Why?"

"There's no point of me living now," Joey said. He pulled out a knife and rose it over his head and whispered to himself "I'm sorry."

"No don't!" Mai cried.

"Joey!!!" Tea and Miho yelled out.

"Listen Wheeler just because your sister died doesn't mean you start commiting suicide!" Seto said angirily.

Joey couldn't believe his ears was Seto Kaiba trying to help him? The Seto Kaiba helping him out?!

He dropped the knife. but then all of a sudden he felt a piercing pain in his left arm.

"ARRRRRR!!!!!" He cried.

Everyone was amazed at such pain Joey was in when no one even hurt him!!!

"Joey!" Mai cried out to him.

Joey gripped his arm tightly and started panting. "The pain is gone. but I can't feel my arm anymore."

"Don't worry bud!" Tristan said . I'll take you up with me. I saw that there's a bed in one of the rooms. Let me take you up there."

"Wait!" Mai said. "Let me go with you guys."

"Serenity...." Joey whispered sadly. "I'll found out who did this to you.''

Yugi watched as Joey was taken upstairs by Tristan and Mai and then he sighed. He looked over at Washu who seemed to be completely heartbroken.

"That was his sister?" she asked in a cracking voice.

"Yes," Yugi answered sadly.

Kaiba and the others looked over at Washu and Miho asked,

"Wait...just who are you?"

"Oh uh this is my good friend Washu," Yugi said. "She has told me about why everyone is getting killed by a psycho murderor."

Then Washu explained to them about Samara (Sadako) and her plan to kill them all.

"Why us?" Tea asked. "We don't even know this lady."

"Well," Washu said, "she could have close ties with one of your enemies...though I don't know who."

Yugi frowned again. "We'll find out who this is don't you worry about a thing."

Bakura Ryou: I have the evil powers of an author!!! I can do whatever I want to you!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! *snowball hits his head* HEY!!! Who threw that!!!

Yugi: Oh dammit....No I tried to hit Marik!!! Really I did!!!

Marik: What!!! Now your going to die little man!!!!

Yugi: AAAAAHHH!!!! *runs away from crazy Marik* Mommy!!

Yami: *watches*

Bakura Ryou: *does the same* ok well see you again later. *another snowball hits him. Then thousands of snowballs start to attack*

Yami: AAAAH!!!! IT'S THE ATTACK OF THE KILLER SNOWBALLS!!!

Bakura Ryou: Oh god not again!!!!! Uh well I should go now!!! AAAH!!!

Yami: FOR THE LOVE OF RA SOMEBODY CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!

Yugi: Yeh I got a splinter!!!
