[ A gipsy mission ]

[ Chapter 1: ]

During all the way to Domino she had been thinking about her mission, based on what she heard from her best friends mom, it wasn’t going to be easy to give the package cause she had to find the boy.

“this has been the easies deliver I had ever made in my life” she said while she look through the window the welcome sign of Domino City “Al least, I have eight hours sited here, my ass it’s screaming for some air”

She sat back on her sit and look to the little girl by her side, the girl was so entertain painting on her coloring book.

She move a little closer and saw that the girl grab a blue pencil and was going to coloring the picture on the book but she stop her “sorry little girl but that isn’t the blue eyes white dragon, that’s the red eyes black dragon” she pick up the black pencil and handle it to the child.

“oh, you’re right” the girl said “it’s just that it’s so difficult for me to difference both dragons, both are beautiful”

“you’re right about that, both are so beautiful but each one have difference” she took her bagpack and start searching for her deck, then began to pass card by card until she stop on one card “look this is the red eyes black dragon, you may notice that the nose of this dragon is sharper than the one that the white dragon have” she handle the card to the girl that was so amaze to see the card.

“this is the first time that I had a duel card on my hand” the child look both said with some amazement on her eyes “they are so cool, are you a duelist”

“yeah, they are cool, there are even some card painted by hand” she took out other card and show it to the girl “but am not a duelist, just a collectionist” a smile appear on her face, this little child remind her so much of her best friend, the main reason of her travel from Tokyo to the little town of Domino, she was doing all of this just to see her friend smile again.

Suddenly the voice of the bus driver announce that they had just arrive to the local Domino Bus Terminal, please stay on there sits until the bus had stop completely. The little girl handle back the card to her owner and stared putting back all her coloring pencils and book on her bag while her neighbor put back her cards and close the bag. The driver give another message to his clients that now they may stand up and in slow motion walk out of the bus.

The little girl stand up on her chair trying to get her suitcase from the compartment, her neighbor saw these and help her with the suitcase, once out of the compartment she put her bagpack on her back, with her right hand took the hand of the little girl and with the other hand took the suitcase and both walk off the bus. Now outside the bus the young woman gave the suit back to the little girl, then knee “little girl do you have any one to come and pick you up”

“my granny was notice of my visited, so I think that she is going to be here soon” the little girl look from side to side searching for her grandmother and suddenly an older woman appear in front both girls.

“my dear Gloria” the woman said with happiness in her voice “am so happy to see you my dear” she run to her grand daughter and gave her a big hug “I was staring to think that I came a little bit earlier but I was right on time”

“am so happy to see you again granny” Gloria said to her granny

While Gloria and her granny share a family moment, the young girl stared at the moment, she remember when she used to travel with her grandmother from place to place selling handcraft, repairing paintings or guessing future to gain some money or food for there travel, how much she miss those times.

“excuse me young lady” the old woman ask to the younger

“oh, yes am sorry, this is the bag of your grand child” she said passing it to the woman “she was my neighbor during the trip and I was only helping”

“don’t worry young girl, my dear little Gloria had just explain me all that you did for her, am so grateful” the woman said putting her hand over Gloria’s hair “it’s anything I can do to reward you....”

“am so sorry, am so rude, my name is Helena” she said shaking the hand of the old woman “maybe you can help me, am looking for a place” she unzip her bag and tock out a piece of paper and gave it to the woman “I have to deliver a package at these place but am new in these city and have no idea how to get there”

The lady gave a look at the address on the paper “this is at the suburb, I can take you near that area if you desire”

“that would be such a big help” the close her bag and started walking behind the lady and her grandchild.

Today had been like the saddest day of all the school year, Every place you look some one is gloomy, or just not paying enough attention to what the teacher are explaining on the board.

“who could answer the next problem on the board” the teacher turn around expecting to see some hands up but the students weren’t concentrated on the class, suddenly a noise form the back of the class room call his attention, it was a student snoring.

The teacher walk closer and wasn’t surprise to find Joey sleeping and snoring on his chair, on his back Honda was trying to wake him but it was to late, the teacher knee beside Joey, took a breath and then scream at him making the poor boy jump from his chair looking around.

“What happened, what Pegasus did know” he said trying to get some answer while the rest of the class laugh.

“mmm, I try to wake you, but you didn’t hear me” Honda whisper at Joey that was more clear now and then notice how the teacher got back on his position.

“the third time these week, Mrs. Wheeler” the man took out from his shirt pocket a paper, with his pen fill it out and gave it to Joey “you already know what those this mean” and walk back to his desk

Joey read the paper “another week of detention” he fold the paper and put it on his pants pocket. Just like the teacher said it was another week of staying two hours after school cleaning the hallways and the cafeteria. But some how he wasn’t sad, this was better than getting earlier to his house.

He felt a slap on his left shoulder, and look behind him “don’t worry man, I will help you like usual” Honda told his friend and he just smile in gratitude.

He turn his face again on front “this is much better than confront my dad”. He then look to his side and saw that Yugi was concentrated writing on his notebook “he is going through a lot right now, he needs our support more than ever.”

The car stop in front a High School, the young girl walk out of the car with her bag

“thank you so much Miss Ishitobi, this had been such a help” Helena lean closer to the window “it was a pleaser to meet you Gloria, be good with your grand mother”

The little girl node with a big smile and look at her granny “I will be”

“are you sure you don’t want any help darling?” the old lady ask Helena worry “this side of the city becomes very dangerous at nigh, it’s not a good place to be for a young lady like you”

“don’t worry Miss Ishitobi, am going to be ok” she smile trying to calm down the woman

“if you had any problem or need anything, here is my phone number, don’t doubt in calling me” Miss Ishitobi gave a piece of paper with number, the girl took it and put it on her bag.

“thanks anyway, I wish you and your grand daughter good luck in your journey through life” Helena told both and start walking on the opposite direction while the car engine start again and keep is way back to the road.

“so here I go” Helena begin to walk looking at every street sign, the last time she look her watch it was two o’clock of the afternoon, by now it must be two forty five. Soon the sun will go down and the moon was going to be out. She must finish her mission the soon as possible so that she could found a place to crash down and sleep.

“ok, this is the eight a street” she look at her paper and unzip one more time her bag bringing out a brown box with a sticker placed on the front “am closer my dear friend, now I must found the building where this wheeler guy live and I will go on with my life”
