[ Chapter 1 ] Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! Or any of the characters or duel monsters in it. If I did I would probably be rich. But I do own Isabella, Eleanor, Alexandra, and Elizabeth. Plus the horsies and the kingdoms. Thank you. *Note: Danyel, Kathryn, and Patricia are names of my best friends. This story was intended for them, but I figured what the hey, I'd like to share the story with others. Also I will be going from Isabella's many nicknames, just to warn you. "Sire! We have a problem!" Tristan exclaimed coming closer to the throne. "What?" King Atem asked. "Sire, Joseph has been kidnapped by the kingdom dragon, the blue eyes white!" Tristan said panting. "What?!" King Atem shouted jumping to his feet. Tristan took a deep breath then passed out. Isabella comes in to the throne room. And looks down at Tristan. She raised an eyebrow and looked up at King Atem. "Is he dead?" "No," King Atem says in a semi-calm voice. "Can I kill him?" She asked with a wicked smile. "No!" the king exclaimed, "Look! Right now we have more important things to worry about, besides your dispute with my jester!" "Really?" She raised her eyebrow again. "Yes! Joseph has been kidnapped by the kingdom dragon!" "You're kidden? Last time it was troll! And the time before that it was those murderous mermaids! And the time before that it was the ogre! And the time-" "I know! I know!" King Atem said cutting the woman off. He sat back on the throne and rubbed his head as though he had a headache. "Do you think you and your squire can rescue him?" Isabella took a deep breath. "Yeah, I guess. I'll get Duke." As she turned to leave she mumbled, "I wish Joey would stay out of trouble. He's such a damsel." The king chuckled as she left. Soon Isabella was in her chambers finishing putting on her mail. (For those who don't know, in medieval times mail is a male's outfit. It consists of a tunic, breeches, boots, and whatever. If you are still confused look it up.) She placed on the cape and added the winged moon broach to the side. Duke was staggering on his feet trying to put his boots on. They were both dressed in the kingdom colors. Since there was no sexual attention with the two, Isabella didn't feel awkward with him entering her rooms. As long as he didn't come in while she was dressing or something. "You know he'd stop being kidnapped if you'd stop dressing him the way you do," Duke said getting his left boot on. "Oh?" Isabella questioned. "Then why did those mermaids kidnap him?" "You know, I have no idea." He stood adjusting his belt. "Derange taste, maybe?" He made it sound like a question. "But still, trolls, ogres, mermaids, gargoyles, fairies? You'd think that after all that had happened, you'd stop dressing him like that." "You know, there are times when I highly regret making you my squire. Now you know why." Duke stood in Isabella's bed room blushing. Isabella shook her head smirking. The two left for the stables. Isabella got her pure black stallion, Apocalypse. The reason she named her horse that was because his eyes were completely red. There was no pupils, no irisis and no whites; just red. Duke's horse was a brown stallion, he named, Lightning. The horse lives up to the name. Besides Isabella's and the king and prince's horses, Lightning is the fastest horse in the kingdom. "Belle, don't you think we should hurry and rescue Joey?" "Nah. Dragons only eat damsels or as some call them virgin maidens. Blue eyes is probably wondering what's wrong with him any ways." "I know what's wrong with him," Duke mumbled as they rode off, "He's going with you." "I heard that." Isabella called back to him. In less than an hour they were at the Forbidden Forest. They slowly entered watching for any movement. Duke followed behind Isabella, watching her back. It was quiet, except for the birds and insects. Nothing big moved. "Say Belle, are you sure dragons only eat damsels?" "Yes. Well that and knights. Since you're a squire I doubt you'll get eaten." "Whew. That's a relief." "But he may eat you, just so you won't become a knight." Duke's eyes went wide as she said it. "But then again, you're so puny he may not." Duke glared at her. Then he shuddered and mumbled, "I hate bugs." "Hey Duke, there's a spider on your shoulder." "Ha Ha! Made you look." Isabella said in a normal tone. No smile across her face, and no hint of laughter. Duke glared at her again. "That was not funny." "Sure it was. You just need a sense of humor like me." She said in the same tone. "Shhhhhh! I think I hear something." Isabella cupped her right hear and listened. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Someone screamed. "That someone is my love! Come Duke!" "Are you talking with the narration? Uh? Wait for me!" Duke said realizing Isabella was getting farther away. Soon the two came to a clearing, there was the blue eyes white dragon, and Joey tied to a tree. Joey was screaming his fool head off. "Annabella? Isabelle! Get me out of here!" Joey kicked and screamed. "I thought your name is Annabella? So why did he call you Isabelle?" The dragon asked. Isabella sighed, "Annabella is my real name. Isabelle, Isabella, Arabelle, Annabelle, Jezebel, Anna, and Belle are my nicknames. By the way aren't you supposed to be doing evil things like trying to kill me or something?" "I only eat virgin maidens and knights," Blue eyes said as he wound his tail around his body. "What about squires?" Duke asked. "No, I don't bother with them. I prefer to wait till they're knights. Makes it more challenging." "Yes!" Duke said excitedly. "Hmph!" Bell said, "Some dragon you are. You kidnapped a guy." All of a sudden the blue eyes turned in to a human. He had short silvery-white hair, that hung over one eye, and the rest was pulled behind the other. A white gold earring with a blue stud was clipped to the top of his uncovered ear. His skin was snow white. And he was dressed regally in blues and white gold. He looked very handsome. He took Isabelle's breath away. Blue eyes smiled with cocky pride, "Impressed are we?" Isabelle glared, "Screw you." "Well I've never done it with a human, but there's always a first time for everything." He said still smiling. "You keep your hands off my woman!" Joey yelled. "I am Sire Annabelle! I'm the King Atem's great knight!" "You're a knight?" Blue eyes raised an eyebrow at the girl. "But you're female." "So? I'm also here to save the man you kidnapped. Besides, what's wrong being a female? You kidnapped a guy." "He's wearing a freak’en dress!" Blue eyes exclaimed. And sure enough, Joey was wearing a pink and white dress. When flying high, he looks like a she!" Blue eyes made some hand movements as he talked. "Hey!" Joey exclaimed. Duke rolled with laughter on his horse. He laughed so hard he fell off the horse. He quickly climbed back on blushing. Isabelle put her hand to her face and shook her head in disbelief. Joey hung his head as Blue eyes laughed. Isabelle looked at her squire, "Graceful you're not." Isabelle sighed and shook her head. Then she dismounted her horse. "Are you going to give me my damsel or am I going to have to kill you?" "Why am I the damsel?" Joey asked angrily. "Why were you knighted?" Blue eyes asked. "Because he can't fight worth shit. So are you going to
release him or are we going to fight?"
“Fine,” Isabelle said. “If that is what you want.” Blue Eyes nodded. He turned his tail into a sword and the two fought. Both giving all they got.
