[Chapter one: Yugi's Rotten Day]

[Morning]
[At Yugi's house]
[In Yugi's room]

Yugi: *Wakes up* Dad! *Looks around his room* *Lays back down* It was that nightmare angin. I always get that bad dream.

Yami: *Appears out of the puzzle* You okay, aibou?

Yugi: I'm fine, Yami. *Gets up* Just a bad dream, nothing to worry about.

Yugi got dressed and went downstairs.

Solomon: Morning Yugi.

Yugi: *Annoyed* Morning grandpa.

Solomon sighed. He knew today was Yugi's least favorite time of the year. He hoped it would go better than last year.

[Later]

Joey: Hey Yug!

Yugi: *Doesn't look at Joey* Morning...

Joey: *Raises an eyebrow* What's up with you today, Yug? Tough night?

Yugi: *Nods* *Walks past Joey*

Joey: *Shrugs* *Thinking* Maybe Yug will lighten up later.

[At school]

Yugi didn't lighten up. He avoided talking to Joey and the others. Things didn't get better in Poetry class.

Teacher: Alright, today we will present our poems to the class. Yugi Motou, why don't you go first?

Yugi: *Groans* Yes, Ms. Saylor. [Nikil: That's the name of my teacher I had in seventh grade. She was my sewing and cooking teacher. She's very creepy in my opinion because she's never sad or angry, and she's WAY too nice. It's almost like she's a robot or something. *Shudders*]

Some students: *Snickers*

Even though Ms. Saylor isn't Yugi's favorite teacher, he is Ms. Saylor's favorite student. She calls him first when he had to present poems. The class only payed half attention to Yugi, Yugi always made cheerful poems and never dark ones. Yami also usual listens to Yugi's poems and he enjoys them. Yugi's poems always amused him. But, they are going to get a surprise from Yugi this time...

Yugi: *Reading* I know what you did ten years ago, that I will never forgive you for...

Then, the whole class payed full attention to Yugi. Even the goths in the class. Even though everyone wore uniforms, there were goths in the school. Yami was surprised, this was new.

Yugi: *Reading* You tried to throw me on death's door step, but dad took my place. Angels punished you for your evil deeds. Justice has been served and may my soul be free.

A dead silence falls over the class. Everyone had stunned expressions on their faces. Except for the goths, who looked
impressed and they snapped their fingers as if they were clapping for Yugi. Yami was also shocked and he was speechless. They were all staring at Yugi. Yugi ignored them and went back to his seat. Then, something else happened...

Ms. Saylor: *Eyes wide and lips trembling* Y-y-y You... *Knocks over her desk and runs out of the room sobbing pitifully*

Even more stunned silence in the wake of her departure.

Tea: *To Yugi* I guess your poem was too good.

[At lunch]

Joey: Hey Yug! That's was amazing back at poetry class.

Tristian: Yeah, Ms. Saylor deserved it.

Yugi: *Ignores Joey and Tristian* *Sits alone on a table near the corner*

Joey: *Sighs* Why would Yug talk to us?

Duke: I don't know. Did we make him angry?

Tristian: I don't know. One thing's for sure, he's in a bad mood.

Tea: Maybe I should ask him after school.

Duke: That might work.

Speaker: Will Yugi Motou please report to the principal's office immediately!

Yugi: Grr...

[At the prinicial's office]

Ms. Saylor was curled up in a soggy, sobbing heap in a chair next to the prinicial. Yugi takes a seat without saying a word.

Prinicial: Mr. Motou, I would like to know EXACTLY what you did to reduce a member of MY faculty to... *Looks at Ms. Saylor* Well, just LOOK at her.

Yugi: *No emotions on his face* She asked us to show emotion. Too much emotion from us tends to overwhelm mere mortals such as your faculty member Saylor. As you have seen, it isn't pretty.

Prinicial: *Disgusted and very angry* Don't mock me! Starting tomorrow, you will be suspected from school for the rest of the week. You will make a nice poem to Michele Saylor or you will have detention for a month. Do I make myself clear?

Yugi: Yes, Prinicial Hibbard. [Nikil: Ms. Hibbard is the second prinicial at my school. A lot of kids don't like her, even me.]

Yugi curses under his breath as he lefted the office.

[Chapter Two: Siblings?]

[After School]

Tea: *Walks to Yugi* Hey Yugi.

Yugi: *Ignores Tea*

Tea: Is your mother visiting today?

Yugi: *Stops walking and glares at Tea* You mean the lady who pretends to be my mom? Yes and I wish she leave me and grandpa the h#%^ alone.

Yami: *Startiled* //Yugi//

Tea: *Sighs* Yugi, please be n-

Yugi: -Nice to her because she's your flesh and blood. I KNOW, Tea. I don't give a d@%^. *Walks past Tea*

Tea: *Sighs angin* *Leaves*

[At the Kame game shop]

Solomon: Yugi, the prinicial called and she said you made your teacher cry. *Sigh* Yugi, I know you hate this day, but you cannot let it stop you from learning.

Yugi: Grandpa. We were suppose to show emotions, she didn't need to come on the ride. It's not my fault she can't handle it.

Mai then appears in the game shop.

Yugi: Hello Mai.

Mai: Hi Yugi, your grandfather wanted to talk with you, me and your mom about something.

Yugi: Oh. You mean the woman that pretends to be my mother? My real mom died with my dad.

Mai: I'm sure your grandfather said your mother.

Yugi: Well, he keeps mistaking that woman for my mom.

Mai looks around, she never been to the game shop before. She usually not come here.

Solomon: *Grins* Oh my. So you must be Mai. You are a fine lady.

Mai: *Tries not to roll her eyes* Nice to meet you.

While Mai just hang out with Solomon, Yugi went to get paper and pencil. Then, he sat down and started writing a letter.

Then, a woman with short dark red hair and purple eyes appeared. Her eyes were like Yugi's. Yugi knew she was there, but he kept writing his letter.

Woman: *Walks to Yugi* Hello Yugi.

Yugi just ignored her, not saying a hello or anything and kept writing.

Woman: How was school?

Yugi kept ignoring her and finished his letter.

Yugi: *Hands the woman the letter* .....

Woman: *Reads the letter*

Dear Mother,

Today is your 10th visit here in Turtle Game Shop. My grandpa says that he wanted to talk with me, Mai Kujaku and you. If I find out your not really my mother, I will be so happy, I would sing. I know what you did ten years ago and I will never forgive you.

From your victim's son,

Yugi Motou

Yugi's mother: *Sigh* *Puts letter away*

Solomon: Did Yugi give you the yearly letter angin?

Yugi's mother: *Nods* Hai.

Solomon: Since everyone's here, let's go in the living room.

Yugi, Yugi's mother and Mai: *Nods*

[In the living room]

Solomon: Now, Yugi, Mai, this will be difficult for the both of you. I should have told you two earlier, but I wasn't sure what you two would react.

Mai: Go on.

Yugi: Yeah, tell us.

Solomon: *Sigh* Yugi...Mai...you two are...you two are siblings.

Mai and Yugi: *Shocked* What?!?!?

Yami sensed confusion and shock from Yugi. He was shocked, too. He didn't know Yugi had a sister.

Yugi: How can this be, grandpa? Mai is too old to be my sister.

Mai: *Ignores Yugi's last comment* Yeah, how can we be related? I would remember being with Yugi as a kid, if I was Yugi's sister.

Yugi's mother: Well, you see. You were adopted.

Mai: *Eyes widen* Why? Why did you put me up for adoption?

Yugi's mother: I wanted a son. A son like my husband.

Yugi: *CoughsoyoucanmurdermeanddadlaterCough*

Yugi's mother: *Ignores Yugi's last comment*

Mai: *Looks at Yugi worried* *Thinking* Why is Yugi being so mean to her? He never acted like this before. What
happented to make Yugi act this way? But, why did ''Mother'' want a son insted of me? Does she hate me? Wasn't I good enough?

Yugi: In my opinion, she should have put both of us for adoption.

Mai: Yugi, will you just say something nice to your mom? Our mom? You're being very rude! If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. She is here you know!

Yugi: You wouldn't understand. I hate her to pieces. And I don't believe she's here, the only woman in this room is you.

Solomon: Yugi, please.

Yugi: *Sigh*

Solomon: *Thinking* I knew Yugi would react this way... *Sigh* If only Yugi will forgive her. But, he might never forgive her. *Leaves the room*

Yugi's mother: *Leaves the room*

[Chapter Three: Yugi's Past]

[At Yugi's house]
[In the living room]

Yugi's mother: *Leaves the room*

Mai: Yugi, we need to talk.

Yugi: Okay.

[In Yugi's room]

Mai: *Sits lady-like on a chair*

Yugi: *Sits on his bed*

Yami: *Appears out of the puzzle*

Yugi: Yami.

Mai: Hello Yami.

Yami: Mai, you don't mind if I join in?

Mai: I don't. *Turns to Yugi* Yugi, I have a question. Why are you so cruel to our mother?

Yugi: *Eyes narrow* Our mother? I don't consider her our mother.

Yami: Yugi, I also want to know why are you being cruel to your mother. She's your own flesh and blood.

Yugi: ..........You really want to know why?

Yami and Mai: Yes.

Yugi: ..........*Sigh* It's because of what she did ten years ago, that I will never forgive her for. I was still living with
mother and dad at the time...

[Yugi's story]

Five year old Yugi was watching tv. His mother appeared with a knife.

Yugi's mother: Yugi.

Yugi: *Cheerfuly* Yes, mommy?

Yugi's mother: You have been a bad boy, so you will get punished. *Raises the knife above her*

Man's voice: Alice NO! *Grabs Alice's arm* [Nikil: I'm making up the names]

It was Yugi's father.

Alice: *Smirks* Tenshi, this boy killed my mother when he was born. He is a bad boy, a curse to our family.

Tenshi: Alice, you cannot blame Yugi for your mother's death. She died of natural cause. It's not Yugi's fault.

Alice: *Laughs like a madman* Oh it is, Tenshi. And HE GOING TO DIE! *Tries to attack Yugi*

Yugi: *Dodges* *Scared* Stop it, mommy. *Runs away*

Alice: *Goes after Yugi*

Tenshi: *Grabs Alice* You're not going to kill our son!

Alice: HE MUST DIE!! *Attacks Tenshi*

[Yugi: My dad fought anginst mother. He fought her long enough to call grandpa and the police.]

Tenshi: *Hangs up the phone*

Yugi: *Yells in pain*

Tenshi: YUGI!! *Runs to Yugi*

Yugi: *Crying* *Holds his bleeding arm* Stop it mommy, please!

Alice: *Cackles* You are going to pay for what you did to my mother! *Tries to attack Yugi angin*

Tenshi: *Grabs Alice's wrist* NO! YOU WILL NOT HURT MY SON!

[Yugi: *Tears in his eyes* Dad tried to remove the knife from mother's hand, but...*Sniff* The knife stabbed Dad's heart.]

Yugi: *Crying* DADDY!! *Runs to Tenshi's side* Daddy, please don't go away.

Tenshi: *Smiles weakly* I fought to protect you, I want you to have a good future. *Closes eyes* I will always love you, my son. Goodbye, I'll watch over y- *Takes his last breath* *Dead*

Yugi: DADDY!!!!! *Crys harder*

Alice: *Raises knife* Don't worry little brat, you'll be joining your father soon. *Cackles*

Police: *Appears* *Points guns at Alice*

Police officer: You're under arrest! Put the knife down. You're under arrest for murder of Tenshi Motou and attemped murder of Yugi Motou.

Solomon: *Appears* *Picks up Yugi* Shh... It's okay, everythings going to be fine now.

Yugi: *Crys in Solomon's arms* *Whispers* Daddy...

[End of Yugi's story]

Yugi: *Tears running down his face* ...They put mother in jail, but then they released her for no reason. I don't understand why. I lived with grandpa ever since. Dad shouldn't have died, I should have died.

Mai: *Hugs Yugi* No Yugi, what you're father did was that he saved your life. He didn't want you dead.

Yami: Mai's right. Your father loved you. He sacrified himself so that you would have a future.

Yugi: *Crying in Mai's arms* ....I can never forgive her for want she did.

Mai: *Holds Yugi closer* We understand.

Yugi: *Whispers* Mai......Thank you

Mai: I am your sister after all, I'll be with you all the way.

Yami: //And your my hikari, aibou. I will be with you all the way, as well.//

Yugi: *Smiles* /Thanks, Yami./ *Thinking to himself* Mai, Yami and grandpa are my family. I will protect them, even from mother.

[Chapter Four: Kidnapped]

[The next day]
[Saturday]

Tea: Hey Joey, where's Yugi?

Joey: Yug said he promised Mai he would go shopping with her.

Tea: *Sweatdrop* Well, good luck for him.

Joey: Yeah...

[Meanwhile at the mall]

While Mai was enjoying shopping, Yugi was trying to carry all the bags. Luckly for Yugi, Yami came to help Yugi with carrying.

Yugi: When can we be done with shopping?

Mai: Just two more shops and we'll be done.

Yugi: *Groans* Maiiiii!!!! I thought this is only for boyfriends and not little brothers.

Mai: Little brothers count in my book, little brother. And besides, Yami is helping you carry.

Yugi: *Sigh*

After shopping was done, Mai put some of the bags in her car. Since Yami went back into his soul room, Yugi was sittting in the front with Mai.

[At Yugi's house]

Joey: Yug! We got bad news.

Yugi: *Gets out of Mai's car* What?

Tristian: Your mom is kidnapped.

Yugi: *Shows no emotion* ......... Her?

Joey: *Surprised* Don't you care?

Yugi: No. Why should I?

Tristian and Tea: *Surprised*

Tristian: Yugi, sh-

Yugi: My flesh and blood. I KNOW! *Sigh* Just let me see the f*#&ing note.

Tea, Tristian and Joey: *Winces*

Mai and Solomon: *Eyes Widen* YUGI!

Tea: *Hands a note to Yugi*

Yugi: *Reads the note*

To Mr. Yugi Motou,

If you want to see your mom angin, go to Domino Park and find an abandomed building close to it.

Yugi: It could be a trap, let's not risk it.
Joey: Not risk it? Dude, she's your mom! Let's rescue her anyway, she-

Yugi: Joey! It doesn't matter! And besides, whoever this person is, he/she can do whatever they want with her. I don't care.

Everyone else: *Shocked* WHAT?!?!

Joey: What happented to the old Yug I knew?

Yugi: *Glares at Joey* The ''Old Yug'' isn't the real Yugi. You wouldn't understand. *Turns to leave*

Yami: *Appears from the puzzle* Yugi! It doesn't matter if you hate her. Leaving her like that is wrong. Maybe she's changed from what happented ten years ago. Don't you think you should give her a second chance?

Yugi: *Turns and glares at Yami* Changed?!?! Are you insane?!?! How can a murder change?!?!

Joey, Tea and Tristian: Murder?!?!

Tristian: What do you mean?

Yugi: ............*Sigh* It was ten years ago when-

Yugi told Joey, Tea and Tristian about how his mom tried to kill him, and his father sacrificed himself to save Yugi. Yugi had a hard time telling the story to them, but they supported him. When Yugi was done telling the story, Joey, Tea and Tristian were stunned and didn't say a word.

Joey: We understand why you hate your mother so much, but we should save her anyway. If she hasn't changed, we'll protect you. We'll make sure she doesn't kill you.

Yugi: Joey....................... Okay, we'll go save mother. But, I don't want to be responsible for putting you guys in danger.

Mai: Don't worry about it, we can take care of ourselves.

Yugi: *Nods*

[The next day]

Solomon: Good luck.

Tristian: Don't worry, we'll get Yugi's mom back.

Yami: *Inside the puzzle* //Should I take over?//

Yugi: /Good idea./

Yami: *Takes over*

[Domino Park]

Joey: *Climbs a tree* Where could it be?

Tristian: I'm not sure, but it's here somewhere.

Tea: *Points* Look guys!

Tea was pointing at an old house that looked like a mansion, except it was abandomed. There was wilted flowers everywhere.

Tristian: That must be the place.

Joey: Let's go.

Yami: *Nods*

Yami and the others go to the abandomed mansion and opened the door.

[Chapter Five: The Truth]

[In an abandomed mansion]

Everything was dusty, the place had spider webs everywhere, the windows were broken and the whole place give the others the creeps.

Joey: Couldn't the guy who kidnapped Yug's mom picked a better place then this?

Tristian: This place looks like nobody lived here for years. *Sneezes* It's really dusty here.

Tea: *Shudders* And spider webs everywhere.

The others spent an hour looking around and trying to find Yugi's mom and her kidnapper. None of them found anything until...

Tea: *Opens a door* *Eyes widen* Guys, I found her.

Joey: Good job, Tea.

Yugi's mom was sitting on a dusty bed and her face was pale with fear.

Alice [Yugi's mom]: Everyone, get the h#%& out of here while you have the chance.

Joey: We're not leaving without you, whoever that jerk was, we'll kick his @$$.

Alice: You don't understand, I-

Before she could finsh her sentence, Alice felt pain and she tried to block the pain.

Alice: No! Please, don't! *Screams* *Glows in a purple light*

The light blinds the others and when they opened their eyes, Alice was different. Her red hair had black tips and her eyes were cold.

Evil Alice: *Smirks*

Yami: *Third eye appears on his forehead* //Aibou. I sense evil energy in her. That isn't your mother.//

Mai: What is going on?

Evil Alice: *Insane laughs* I'm the real Alice. Her dark part. There was no kidnapping, it's a trap.

Yugi: /Mother has a yami?!?!/

Yami: //She must have. You were right, this is a trap. Let-//

Before Yami could finsh, a black mist surrounded the area.

Yami Alice: Welcome to the Shadow Realm.

Yami, Tea, Tristian, Joey and Mai: Shadow Realm?!?!

Mai shuddered. The last time she was in the Shadow Realm, Yami Malik tortured her with a duel and almost killed her.

Yami: Why have you brought us to the Shadow Realm?

Yami Alice: To kill my prey.

Suddenly, duel monsters appeared and attacked the others.

Yami, Tea, Mai, Tristian and Joey: *Dodges the attacks*

Yami Alice: Also in the Shadow Realm, I can do things I wouldn't be able to in your world. *Snaps fingers*

Yugi: *Appears from the puzzle* What the...?

Yami Alice: Don't worry, brat. Before I kill you, *Brings out a knife* I'll kill your little friends.

Yami: You will do no such thing.

Yami Alice: *Cackles* Not even you Pharaoh will stop me. Before I kill all of you, I'll have some fun. Attack them, duel monsters!

The duel monsters did as they were told and attacked.

Tea, Tristian, Joey, Yami and Mai: *Dodges*

Yugi: *Gets cut on his arm* *Winces and holds his bleeding arm* [Nikil: Yugi's arm bleeds a lot. Lol]

Yami: Aibou! *Goes to Yugi's side*

Joey: *Dodges a duel monster's attack* Try mind crushing her.

Yami: It doesn't work in the Shadow Realm or she would be banished in your world.

Joey: Good point. *Gets hit on the head with an attack* Ow!

Mai: Can't we do something? *Slaps a duel monster away*

Yami: Yes. *Takes out a card* I summon Gaia the Fierce Knight!

Gaia the Fierce Knight appeared and attacks the other duel monsters.

Joey: Good idea, Yami. *Takes out his card* Flame Manipulator, attack!

Flame Manipulator appeared and attacks the other duel monsters with Gaia the Fierce Knight. The fight went on and on until there was six duel monsters lefted.

Tristian: There's too many of them, what should we do now?

Joey: Run!

Yami Alice: I don't think so. Duel monsters, attack!

The six duel monsters grabbed the others.

Yami Alice: I'm not going to let you escape.

Yugi: *Tries to get free from Celtic Guardian* You won't win.

Yami Alice: But I already have, little Yugi. It's a shame you couldn't die with your father.

Yugi: What do you mean?

Yami Alice: I killed your father, Yugi. You were suppose to die.

Yugi: No, that's a lie! Mother killed my dad and tried to kill me.

Yami Alice: *Cackles* No, you're mistaken. You see, your grandmother from your mother's side of the family died of a heart attack. Your mother loved her very much and she got depressed when she died. I was released when she died and I was the one who tried to kill you.

[Yami Alice's story]

Yami Alice: Yugi.

Little Yugi: Yes, mommy?

Yami Alice: You have been a bad boy, so you will get punished. *Raises the knife above her*

Tenshi: *Appears* Alice NO! *Grabs Alice's arm*

[Yami Alice: Your father was very foolish to fight me and when he realised I wasn't Alice, he tried to lock me in a closet. Little did he know, I cannot be stopped easily.]

Yami Alice: *Disappears*

[Yugi's room]

Yami Alice: *Reappears*

Little Yugi: *Hiding under the bed*

Yami Alice: There you are brat! *Grabs little Yugi out of the bed*

Little Yugi: Ahhhh!!!

Yami Alice: *Cackles and slices Yugi's arm*

Little Yugi: *Yells in pain*

Tenshi: YUGI!! *Appears*

Yugi: *Crying* *Holds his bleeding arm* Stop it mommy, please!

Yami Alice: *Cackles* You are going to pay for what you did to my mother! *Tries to attack Yugi angin*

Tenshi: *Grabs Alice's wrist* NO! YOU WILL NOT HURT MY SON!

Yami Alice: *Cackles* He tried to remove the knife from my hand, but I stabbed him insted. I tried to kill you, but the police appeared and arrested me. When I was put in jail, I waited until I used the powers of the Shadow Realm, to brainwashed them into releasing me.

Yugi: So that's how you got out.

Yami Alice: Yes, but Alice locked me away by using her good memories after I got out. Little Yugi, I got a purpose for you. *Snaps fingers*

Celtic Guardian disappeared, a red energy ball appeared and trapped Yugi inside it.

Tea, Tristian, Joey, Yami and Mai: Yugi!!!

Yami Alice: *Cackles* Bye bye, Pharaoh. *Disappears*

Yugi: *Disappears*

Duel monsters: *Disappears*

Yami: NO!! YUGI!!!!!!

[Chapter Six: Into The Darkness]

[Abandomed Mansion]
[Dark room]

Yugi: *Reappears and falls out of the red energy ball* *Gets up* Where am I?

Yami Alice: *Reappears* You're in a different part of the Shadow Realm. Do you really believe your friends and family care about you?

Yugi: *Glares* Yes, I believe they care about me. And I also believe mother killed my dad. You are a liar!

Yami Alice: *Smirks* Is that so? You are blinded by lies, I'll show you the truth. *Chants a few words in Egyptian*

Suddenly, a dark purple mist surrounded Yugi and Yugi's eyes became solid purple.

Yugi: *Looks around* What's going on?

Voice: Wouldn't you like to know?

Yugi: Tea?

Tea: *Appears* Yes, who do you think it is?

Yugi: Tea. What's wrong?

Tea: What's wrong? It's you who is wrong?

Yugi: *Hurt* What? What do you mean?

Tristian: *Appears* You're weak. You need other people's help.

Yugi: *Surprised* Tristian...

Joey: *Appears* He's right. You can't duel, you need a dead guy's help to do it.

Yugi: Joey...

Mai: *Appears and slaps Yugi* You're supposed to be my little brother, but you are too stupid and weak to be my sibling.

Yugi: Mai...

Yami: *Appears and glares at Yugi* I am ashamed to be your aibou. Only strong people are worthy to be my aibou.

Yugi: *Tears start to form* Y-Yami...

Solomon: *Appears* I am disappointed. If you can't forgive your mother, you will no longer be my grandson. I have no grandson.

Yugi: Grandpa...Yami...Mai...Joey...Tristian...Tea...why? *Tears run down his face*

Yami, Mai, Joey, Tristian and Tea: Because you are a weak midget.

Solomon: Because you are a disgrace!

Yami, Mai, Joey, Solomon, Tristian and Tea: *Leaves*

Yugi: *Crying* Wait! Come back!

Yugi sat there crying, he felt so alone.

Yugi: I'm alone...*Sob*...angin.

Voice: Indeed you're alone. But, there is a way to get happiness.

Yugi: *Looks up to find the owner of the voice* W-what do you mean?

Voice: You will always be alone, but you can get revenge for what they did.

Yugi: H-how?

Yugi: K-kill them? I don't know...

Voice: You will suffer forever if you don't kill them. Do you hate them, don't you?

Yugi thought for a while. He wasn't sure that he should kill them for hurting him. Yugi shook his head, it didn't matter to him anymore. He was alone and he was lost.

Yugi:........Okay. Now, how do I kill them?

Voice: Come into the darkness, Yugi Motou. That's where you belong now, you don't have to be scared of the light anymore.

Yugi: *Gets up* Where are you?

Voice: Just come and you will be free and powerful.

Yugi: *Nods and steps into the darkness*

Yugi's eyes were still solid purple and now
Yami Alice grinned. Everything was going to plan.

Yami Alice: *Chants a few words in Egyptian*

Then, the dark purple mist disappeared and a blood red mist appeared. Dark energy entered Yugi's body and Yugi yelled in pain for a moment. Yugi rose off the ground, floating in mid air. There were dark circles under Yugi's eyes and when he opened them, there were glowing bright red.

Evil Yugi: *Smirks* I hate them, they must DIE!

Yami Alice: *Smirks* Excellent. *Hands Yugi a long sword* This is what you can use to kill them, but you can kill half of them because I want to kill them too.

Evil Yugi: *Takes the long sword* Okay, but the Pharaoh is mine.

Yami Alice: Deal.

[Meanwhile...]

Yami: Where can aibou be?

Tristian: Don't worry Yami, we'll find Yugi.

Voice: Yugi will find you first.

Joey: Come out of hiding! We know you're there!

Yami Alice: *Appears* Indeed. But, I don't think Yugi is happy with you.

Yami: What do you mean?

Voice: Wouldn't you like to know?

Yami knew that voice, but it was cold. It couldn't be...

Evil Yugi: *Appears with a long sword* *Smirks* Hello Yami.

Yami, Tea, Tristian, Joey and Mai: *Shocked* Yugi?!?!

Yami: What have you done to him?

Yami Alice: I showed him the truth and he is now in darkness.

Yugi: Hmm...since there is five of them and one lefted over, what should we do with it?

Yami Alice: Torture it and kill it.

Yugi: *Smirks* Good idea. *Cackles*

Tea, Tristian, Joey, Yami and Mai look at Yugi with worry. What has happented to the old Yugi?

Yami: *Thinking to himself* Yugi...

[Chapter Seven: The Dark Hikari part one]

[Abandomed Mansion]

Yami Alice: *Smirks* Let the fun begin!

Yugi: *Gets ready to attack* Hmm...who should be first?

Tea: Yugi, you have to fight it! Don't let the darkness controll you!

Yugi: *Points his sword at Tea* Shut up, princess friendship. I guess I'll kill you
first. *Attacks Tea*

Tea: *Dodges, but gets cut on her arm* Ah!

Tristian: Tea! *Tries to attack Yugi*

Yugi: *Dodges and kicks Tristian in the stomach*

Tristian: *Backs away and holds his stomach*

Yami: *Third eyes appears on his forehead* Yugi, you must stop or I will have no choice, but to hurt you.

Yugi: *Smirks* Nope, it's too much fun. *Attacks Mai with his sword*

Mai: *Dodges and kicks him in the shin*

Yugi: *Punchs Mai and Pins her to the ground with his sword* You have given me pain and you must die for it.

Yami: Yugi stop! *Grabs Yugi*

Yugi: *Punchs Yami away* All of you have given me pain and you must suffer death. *Grabs his swords and tries to attack Yami*

Yami: *Dodges and uses dark magic to knock the sword out of Yugi's hand*

Yugi: *Glares* Two can play at that game. *Creates a dark purple energy ball with his hands*

Yami: *Eyes widen* Nani?!

Yugi: *Throws the energy ball at Yami*

Yami: *Gets hit and knocked to the ground* Yugi, you have to remember who you are.

Yugi: Ha! Nice try, pharaoh. *Points the sword to Yami's neck* One move and I'll slice your neck.

Yami: Aibou...

Yugi: *Glares* Be quiet or die!

Mai: Yami! *Kicks Yugi away*

Yugi: *Punchs Mai*

Mai: *Grabs Yugi and throws him to the wall*

Yugi: *Glares* Grr....*Create a dark purple energy ball and throws it at Mai*

Mai: *Dodges and helps Yami up* Yami, we got to do something.

Yami: *Nods and takes out a card* Celtic Guardian, attack!

Celtic Guardian appeared and before he attacked Yugi, it's eyes had worry in them. Yugi fought anginst Celtic Guardian with his sword.

Yugi: You think you can defeat me, think angin! *Creates an energy ball and throws it at Celtic Guardian*

Celtic Guardian: *Reflects the energy ball with it's sword*

Yugi: *Catchs the energy ball and makes it bigger* Here's round two! *Throws the energy ball at Celtic Guardian angin*

Celtic Guardian: *Gets hit and disappears*

Mai: *Takes out a card* Harpie Lady!

Yami: *Takes out a card* Gaia the Fierce Knight!

Harpie Lady and Gaia the Fierce Knight appeared. Harpie Lady tries to claw Yugi, but Yugi reflects the claws with his sword and slices Harpie Lady in half.

Harpie Lady: *Disappears*

Gaia the Fierce Knight: *Attacks Yugi*

Yugi: *Sends a dark energy ball at Gaia the Feirce Knight*

Gaia the Fierce Knight: *Disappears*

Yugi: *Smirks and cackles* No matter what duel monster you send to defeat me, you'll won't be able to defeat me. Even with a Blue Eyes White Dragon. *Cackles*

Yami: Yugi....*Third eyes appears angin* Remember...

There was a bright light coming from the Milennium Puzzle and it's powers tied Yami Alice to a wall.

Yugi: *Covers his eyes* What is that light?!?!

Yami: Sorry, aibou. *Creates a golden energy ball and throws it at Yugi*

Yugi: *Yells in pain and stops floating in the air* *Backs away*

Yami: Yugi, please! Let me help you.

Yugi: *Glares* *Coldly* Stay away! *Picks up his sword*

Yami: *Destroys the sword with a golden energy ball* You don't have to run away, I can help you.

Yugi: *Narrows eyes* What should I?

Yami: Because you are blinded by lies from her. *Glows in golden light*

Yugi: *Covers his eyes* Ah!!

When Yugi did open his eyes, he saw Solomon take care of a five year old Yugi.

Yugi: *Crying* Why did daddy die, grandpa?

Solomon: Because he protected you and he now lives with god.

Yugi: But why is he living with god?

Solomon: *Sighs as he finshes dressing Yugi's wound* I don't know, he just does. But, don't worry, I'll take care of you like your father did. *A single tears drops to the ground*

Yugi: But what about mommy? Will she hurt me angin?

Solomon: No. I will make sure you are safe.

Yugi: *Looks up with hopeful eyes* You mean it? [Nikil: Kawaii! ^_^]

Solomon: *Smiles* Yes, I mean it.

Yugi and Solomon: *Hugs*

There was a flash and it showed Yugi in his room with tears in his eyes. The evil Yugi watchs as the scene unfolded...

Yami: *Appears from the puzzle* What is wrong, aibou?

Yugi: I keep thinking that when you get your memories back, you will have to leave and I will never see you angin.

Yami: *Sits next to Yugi* Even if I have to leave, at least I will never forget you. You are my hikari, we are the ying-yang. Darkness and light. We balance each other out. I will try to find a way to stay with you with my memories. *Pulls Yugi closer* It's okay, aibou. I will stay with you always.

Evil Yugi: But, if grandfather and you care about me, what about the others?

Yami [Present day]: You'll see, aibou.

[Chapter Eight: The Dark Hikari part two]

[Abandomed mansion]
[In the light of the Millenium Puzzle]

The scene changes and it shows Yugi crying with Mai and Yami supporting him.

Yugi: *Tears running down his face* ...They put mother in jail, but then they released her for no reason. I don't understand why. I lived with grandpa ever since. Dad shouldn't have died, I should have died.

Mai: *Hugs Yugi* No Yugi, what you're father did was that he saved your life. He didn't want you dead.

Yami: Mai's right. Your father loved you. He sacrified himself so that you would have a future.

Yugi: *Crying in Mai's arms* ....I can never forgive her for want she did.

Mai: *Holds Yugi closer* We understand.

Yugi: *Whispers* Mai......Thank you

Mai: I am your sister after all, I'll be with you all the way.

Evil Yugi was beginning to understand, but he was still confused.

Another flash appeared and it showed a seven year old Yugi sitting alone watching the other kids play. Then, a seven year old Tea appeared.

Tea: Hi, I'm Tea. What's your name?

Yugi: Yugi.

Tea: Nice to meet you, want to be friends?

Yugi: *Smiles* Sure.

Evil Yugi watched as his younger self and Tea play checkers. Then, the scene changes angin. This time, it showed Yugi unconscious holding his puzzle in a room in fire. Joey was trying to pull Yugi away to escape.

Joey: *Tears in his eyes* Let go of the puzzle, Yugi. *Tries to release Yugi's grip on the puzzle* Please! Let go of the puzzle! If we stay here, we'll die! D@&*%#...Yugi... What should I do? D@&*%# *Holds Yugi's arm*

Yami: *From inside the puzzle* Joey...

Joey: Yugi...! *Notices the game connected with the puzzle* If I use this, by using the lever principle, maybe I can get the peg out. *Lifts the game and kicks it* We cannot die here! *Carries Yugi and takes him outside*

Tristian: Joey!

Tea: Yugi!

This surprised evil Yugi. He now knows that Yami, Solomon, Mai, Tea and Joey care about him. But, what about Tristian? The dark circles under Yugi's eyes disappeared, but Yugi's eyes were still glowing bright red.

Tea, Tristian, Joey and Mai: *Appears*

Yugi: Na-

Tristian: The things she told you were lies, we do care about you.

Joey: Without you, my sister Serenity would have been blind by now.

Mai: Without you, I wouldn't have friends.

Tea: We'll be your friends no matter what.

Yami: We care about you, aibou. We can help you. Just trust us.

Yami and Mai: *Reachs out their hand to Yugi*

Yugi:..............*Grabs Yami and Mai's hand*

The moment Yugi touched Yami and Mai's hand, warmth entered Yugi's body. The dark energy lefted Yugi's body and melted away by the light of the Millennium Puzzle.

Yugi: The light....It's so warm.....

Yugi's eyes were now back to normal and Yugi started to have tears in his eyes. The light disappeared and the Millenium Puzzle stopped glowing.

Yugi: What have I done? *Lets go of Yami and Mai's hand and falls on his knees* *Tears run down his face*

Yami: *Pulls Yugi close to himself* It's okay, aibou. We forgive you.

Yugi: *Crys in Yami's arms* /Thank you.../

Mai: *Rubs small circles on Yugi's back*

A few minutes later, Yugi dried up his tears.

[Meanwhile in a dark part of the mansion]

Yami Alice: *Throws a knife at the wall* D@%# that Pharaoh and his friends. They will pay for destroying my energy source. The plan was going perfectly until the Pharaoh used the puzzle to destroy my energy source. I must get rid of Pharaoh and his friends and get my energy source back!

Across the room was a woman tied up in chains.

Woman: You're plan will never work!

Yami Alice: Shut up, Alice.

Alice: Why do you want to use my son as an energy source?

Yami Alice: Because his hatred is what makes me stronger. Your hatred used to make me stronger, but you sealed me away.

Alice: But why do you need my son as an energy source?

Yami Alice: Once I become strong enough to have my own body, I will kill Yugi, the Pharaoh and you. And then, I will become queen. *Cackles*

Alice: Why do you want to kill the Pharaoh?

Yami Alice: Because he has the power I need to become queen. I better get going and you're coming with. *Chants a few words in egyptian and disappears*

Alice: *Disappears*

[Meanwhile, back with Yugi and the others]

Yugi: So what do we do now?

Joey: Do what we came here to do, save your mom and defeat her evil personality.

Yugi: *Nods* I now know that mother didn't kill my dad, her evil personality did. I wish I knew the truth sooner.

Mai: It's not your fault, ou-your mom will forgive you.

Yugi: Hai. Where could mother's evil personality be?

Yami Alice: *Appears* Right here.

Yami: *Glares at Yami Alice* You will pay for brainwashing Yugi.

Yami Alice: He's my energy source for my plan.

Joey: Energy source?

Yami Alice: Yes. Yugi's hatred makes me stronger and I had to fix Yugi to become stronger. Alice's hatred used to make me stronger, but she sealed me away. Once I have my own body, with you, Yugi and Alice out of the way...I will become queen.

Yami: You will never become queen and this must end.

Yami Alice: Indeed. *Snaps fingers*

Alice: *Appears in chains* [Nikil: Hmm...Alice in Chains. That's a name of a band. Lol]

Yugi: Mother!

Yami Alice: She will be sacrified once I become strong enough to have my own body.

Yami: *Third eyes appears* ENOUGH! This madness will end.

Yami Alice: Yes, indeed. Let the games begin!

[Chapter Nine: The Final Battle part one]

[Abandomed Mansion]

Yami Alice: *Snaps fingers*

Duel monsters appeared and just when Yami, Joey and Mai were going to summon their monsters, five dark purple energy rings appeared, each one turned into metal and trapped Yami, Joey, Mai, Tea and Tristian.

Yami: *Tries to get free* What is the meaning of this?!?!

Yami Alice: *Smirks* I'm going to make things more interesting... I'm going to get my energy source back.

Joey: What makes you think you can brainwash Yug angin?

Yami Alice: You'll see Katsuya. *Chants a few words in Egyptian*

Then, a dark purple surrounded Yugi. Yugi tensed up, this is the same one that forced him to hurt his friends. Then, Yugi's eyes became solid purple.

Tea: What's happening to Yugi?

Yami Alice: *Cackles* This is what I'm using to have my energy source back!

Tea: Yugi, fight it!

Yami: Don't believe in the lies!

Yami Alice: *Smirks* He can't hear you, he will only listen to the illusions.

Meanwhile, Yugi is trying to figure out how to break the curse. Suddenly, Yami, Mai, Tea, Tristian, Joey and Solomon appeared and they surrounded Yugi.

Fake Tea: Do you believe we care about you?

Yugi: What do you mean?

Fake Mai: All we did was just an act. You should have killed us when you had the chance.

Yugi: You're lying!

Fake Yami: It's the truth, you can't face the facts.

The others then got closer and closer to Yugi, making Yugi feel more and more crowded.

Yugi: I don't believe you! You're not real, I'm not going to be tricked angin. GO AWAY! *Pushs the others*

To Yugi's surprise, everyone was sent flying. Yugi heard Yami Alice growl, the dark purple mist disappeared and his eyes became normal angin.

Tristian: You did it, Yugi! You fought anginst the illusions!

Yami Alice: *Growls for a moment and smirks* So if I can't get my energy source back, I use my former energy source and destroy you. Shall we play a game? *Creates a dark purple fireball*

Yugi tracked the line of the attack. It wasn’t heading for Yugi, it was heading for...

Yugi: TEA! *Runs in front of Tea and throws his arms wide*

The blast struck Yugi directly in his chest. It felt as though someone had punched him hard, only it burned. Yugi stumbled back and gave a deep gasp for air. Yami Alice threw another fire and the attack was heading for Joey. He skidded to a halt right in front of the taller boy. The fireball pounded his shoulder. Yugi fell back on his butt with a choked off moan.

Yami: *Tries to get free* Yugi, hang on!

Mai: Yugi, stay down! Stop it or you’ll get yourself killed.

Yugi: *Struggles to his feet* Don't worry, I've got it under controll.

Tristian: Don’t be stupid! She's killing you! Let some of those attacks go, we can handle them!

Yami Alice: This is so much fun. *Creates another fireball and throws it*

Yugi tracked the next blast.

Yugi: Mai!

Yugi half-stumbled, half-ran to intercept the blast. He managed to shield Mai with the side of his body.

Mai: *Eyes widen with horror* YUGI! STOP IT!

Yami Alice: You’re going to have to be stronger than that. *Creates another fireball and throw it angin*

She fired another fireball at Yami. Yugi knew he couldn’t run fast enough to intercept the blast. Instead, he jumped up
with every ounce of strength he had left. The energy collided with his head and sent him rebounding off Yami's chest and tumbling to the ground. Yugi layed there, dazed and in pain.

Joey: Yug! Hang on!

Tea: *Tears running down her face* Don't die!

Mai's eyes were starting to form, Tristian tried to get free with all of his strength to help Yugi, Joey glared at Yami Alice and Yami looked at Yugi with worry.

Yami Alice: Since you have no more use it me, you DIE!!! *Creates a giant dark purple and throws it at Yugi* *Cackles*

Alice, Yami, Mai, Joey, Tristian and Tea: YUGI!!!

Yugi: *Closes eyes to get ready for the attack*

But, the attack never came and when Yugi opened his eyes, Dark Magician was there. Dark Magician created a shild around Yugi and itself to block the attack.

Yugi: Dark Magician?

Dark Magician: *Turns around* *Small smile* I'm not just a normal Dark Magician, young one.

This caught everyone else off guard.

Mai: What do you mean?

Dark Magician: I used to be a priest that protected the Pharaoh, I used to be called Priest Mahado.

Yugi: How did you become the Dark Magician?

Priest Mahado: I was responsible to protect the previous Pharaoh's tomb, and the thief Bakura invaded the tomb. I tried to face the theif alone, but I failed and I sealed my soul with my Ka.

Yugi: *Confused* A what?

Priest Mahado: A Ka. There is a Ba, what it is an eternal spirit and, there is a Ka which is the mind in the human body. Good Kas can be preformed by good minds and a wicked mind can preform an evil Ka. The Dark Magician who was called the Illusion Magician back then was my Ka. I am here to help you, young one.

Yugi: *Nods and tries to get up* *Coughs up blood*

Priest Mahado: Hold on a moment. *Chants in egyptian*

Yugi's body starts to glow and all the wounds disappeared and Yugi glowed brighter. The light blinded everyone except Priest Mahado. When Yugi stopped glowing, he was dressed as the Dark Magician.

Yugi: *Confused* What the...?

Yami Alice: *Growls* What is the meaning of this?!?!

Priest Mahado: This is the power I'm giving you for now to fight.

Yugi sighed. He didn't like fighting, but since he hurt his friends, it didn't matter anymore.

Yami: *Shakes his head* //Aibou, sometimes we need to fight for what's right. You didn't mean to hurt us, Alice's dark personality brainwashed you. Only you and Mahado can defeat Yami Alice now.//

Yugi: /*Sigh* I guess you're right. But, I still feel bad for what I've done. I'm not going to be tricked angin./

Yami: //I understand.//

The duel monsters then tried to attack Yugi and Mahado, but they dodged and attacked them with dark magic. At first, Yugi had trouble fighting the duel monsters, but Mahado helped Yugi. It was very tense and only Yami and the others could watch. Finally, there was only five lefted.

Yugi: There's too many o-

Mahado: Don't just give up yet, young one. We'll get rid of the remaining monsters.

Yugi: *Nods* Right. *Dodges an attack* *Attacks with dark magic*

Celtic Guardian: *Disappears*

Mahado and Yugi both attacked the four remaining monsters at the same time and defeated the monsters.

Yami Alice: *Growls and glares at Yugi and Mahado*

Mahado: *Goes to Yami* My Pharaoh, it's good to see you angin. *Uses dark magic to free Yami, Mai, Tea, Tristian and Joey*

Yami: *Nods*

Yami Alice: *Cackles* It doesn't matter having an energy source, I don't need one anymore. I have enough energy to have a new body. I don't just get stronger by Yugi's hatred, I also get energy from the dead duel monsters. I am part of the darkness and I will not be defeated. *Cackles and starts to glow in blood red light*

Yami, Mahado, Alice and the others were blinded by the light.

[Chapter Ten: The Final battle part two]

[Abandomed Mansion]

When the light was gone, Yami Alice was different. Her hair has grown and turned pitch black, she had one arm from Dark Magician Girl and another arm from Mystical Elf.

The middle part of her body was from Harpie Lady, one leg was from Celtic Guardian and another from Flame Swordsman. She had a tail like Red Eyes Black Dragon's and her eyes were glowing blood red.

Everyone else except Yami and Mahado could not hold in a scream of fear of the freak standing before them. Yami and Mahado stood fixed with horror at the thing in front of them.

Yami Alice: *In a demon like voice* Behold my true form. *Cackles* [Nikil: Yami Alice is going to have a demon like voice for a while. Just letting you know.]

Yugi: /She created a new body from body parts of duel monsters. That disgusting, Yami!/

Yami: //I know, aibou. She must be stopped.//

Yami Alice: *Cackles* Now I'll need to do is destroy you, Yugi, Pharaoh and Alice. *Creates a giant fireball and throws it at Yugi, Mahado, Yami, Tea, Tristian, Mai and Joey*

Yugi, Yami and Mahado: *Dodges*

Tea, Tristian, Mai and Joey: *Gets hit and yells in pain*

Yugi: Tea! Tristian! Mai! Joey!

Tristian: *Gets up* Don't worry about us, just kick her butt.

Yami Alice: *Shoots dark purple electricity at Yugi, Yami and Mahado*

Yami: *Blocks the attack with shadow magic*

Mahado and Yugi: *Attacks Yami Alice with dark magic*

Yami Alice: *Blocks the attack*

Yami: *Takes out a card* Gaia the Fierce Knight!

Mai: *Takes out two cards* Harpie Lady! Harpie's Pet Dragon!

Joey: *Takes out two cards* Flame Swordsman! Red Eyes Black Dragon!

Mahado: Get ready, young one.

Yugi: *Nods*

Yami Alice: *Creates black electricity and attacks the duel mosters, Mahado and Yugi*

Duel Monsters, Yugi and Mahado: *Dodges and sents attacks at Yami Alice*

Yami Alice: *Blocks the attacks with her tail*

The fight was very feirce, the duel monster, Yugi and Mahado couldn't damage Yami Alice. She seemed too powerful. While the fight was going on, little did they know, Alice was free and she was watching.

Yugi: *Sends dark magic at Yami Alice*

Yami Alice: *Catchs the dark magic and sends a fireball at Yugi*

Yugi: *Gets hit and sent flying to a wall* *Yells in pain*

Tea: Yugi!

Joey: Have you tried the Egyptian god cards?
