Summary

The turn is now with Yugi. He draws a card and tells Yakou that he understands that they can't get the most of the duel by the number of cards they have on their hands. Thus, Yugi decides to play [Treasure from Heaven - Ten Yori No Housatsu - Spell: Both players draw cards until they have 6 cards in their hands] from his hand to increase the number of cards on his and Yakou's hands to 6 cards.

Gekkou is surprised by that Yugi gives more chance for Yakou despite the fact that Yakou gains advantage with his Barbaros the King of Sacred Beasts with 3000 attack points on the field. Yugi next sets up a face-down card and summons [Beta the Magnet Warrior - 4/1700/1600] onto the field in defense position.

Yugi ends his turn at this point. He smiles and challenges Yakou to strike by his heart and soul. The turn comes to Yakou. After drawing a card, he seems to hesitate and stays still. Gekkou doubts what's wrong with his little brother. Kaiba understands that Yakou still has the feeling that his undefeatable devil gods were previously beaten by the 3 faced down cards (Shadow Guardmen, Monster Reborn, and Evolution of God) of Yugi. Although there is currently just a face-down card on Yugi's field, it influences Yakou and makes him hesitate to attack.

Yakou tries to depress his fear before declaring the attack of Barbaros the King of Sacred Beasts towards Beta the Magnet Warrior. Yugi is impressed by that Yakou's duelist spirit hasn't died yet. At this moment, he opens his face-down spell card [Soul Barter ~ Tamshii No Koukan Soul Barter - Spell: Exchange a monster on the field with a monster in the graveyard].

This spell card allows him to send Beta the Magnet Warrior on the field into the cemetery in exchange of Alpha the Magnet Warrior in the cemetery onto the field. Since Beta the Magnet Warrior is the first target of Barbaros the King of Sacred Beasts, Barbaros the King of Sacred Beasts loses the attack target when Beta the Magnet Warrior is gone. Yugi is safe by this stike with Alpha the Magnet Warrior on the field in defense position. Yakou feels pity before setting 2 face-down cards and ends his turn.

The turn moves to Yugi. He draws a card and sets up a face-down card. Then, he summons [Blockman - 4/1000/1500: By Tributing this face-up card, Special Summon in Defense Position a number of Block Tokens (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1000/DEF 1500) equal to the number of turns this card has been face-upon your side of the field. These tokens cannot declare an attack] onto the field in defense position and ends his turn.

The game is very clear to Gekkou and Kaiba that Yugi is playing defending monsters. On the other side, although Yakou has powerful Barbalos the King of Sacred Beasts, he is still unable to make successful strike. Anyway, Kaiba believes that their clash will tip the big scale soon.

The turn is back to Yakou now. He decides to move first by summoning [Divine Machine King UR ~ Shinkioh UR - 4/1600/1500: Increase an attack target by the number of star level] onto the field in attack position. Next, he plays Polymerization to fuse Divine Maching UR and Barbaros the King of Sacred Beasts into [Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR - 8/3800/1200: You can remove from play from your hand, your side of the field, or your Graveyard, 1 Machine-Type monster and 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster and Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card battles, any Battle Damage to your opponent becomes 0].

Yakou explains that Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR is a monster closet to a god. It also obtains the special effect of Machine King UR, which allows it attack by the number of its star level. Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR has level 8, so it can attack 8 targets. This means two of Yugi's monsters, Blockman and Alpha the Magnet Warrior will be eliminated at the same time.

Next, Yakou plays [Quick Attack ~ Sokkou - Spell: A fusion monster can attack in the turn it was summoned] that allows his fusion monster, Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR, to attack in this turn it's summoned. He declares the attack of Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR immediately.

Shortly, Yugi opens his face-down spell card [Negate Attack ~ Kougeki No Muryoku Ka - Spell: Activate when your opponent attacks, negate that attack and end your opponents Battle Phase]. This card negates the attack of Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR and forces Yakou to end his battle phase immediately. Yakou is disappointed that he still can't make it. 2 turns have passed and he was unable to wipe out Yugi's mere 98 LP.

It's now Yugi's turn. As Yugi is drawing a card, Yakou is realizing that Yugi will soon be able to defeat his monster that is the closet to a god. He believes that Yugi will go across his wall monster. Yugi then sacrifices Alpha the Magnet Warrior to summon [Dark Magician Girl - 6/2000/1700: The ATK of this card increases by 300 points for every Dark Magician or Magician of Black Chaos in either player's Graveyard] onto the field in attack position. He tells Yakou to be prepared for his next move.

Yugi activates the special effect of Blockman to split it into 2 block parts (Actually, its special effect allows to summon Block Tokens equal to the number of the turns after it was summoned. 2 turns have passed, so 2 Block Tokens or 2 Block parts can be special summoned onto the field). Next, he plays spell card [Dimension Magic -  Quick Play Spell:  You can only activate this while there is a face-up Spellcaster-Typer monster(s) on you side of the field. Tribute 2 monsters on you side of the field and Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand. Then you can destroy 1 monster on the field] from his hand.

This card is allowed to play when there is a spellcaster monster (Dark Magician Girl in this case) on the field. Yugi is allowed to tribute 2 monsters on the field to special summon a spellcaster monster from his hand. He uses 2 Block Tokens as tributes to special summon [Dark Magician - 7/2500/2100] on his hand onto the field in attack position. The effect of Dimension Magic also allows Yugi to destroy a monster on the field.

Thus, Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl together destroy Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR by their combined spell power. People become very amazed by Yugi's success. Yugi smiles and admires Yakou that he is such a powerful rival. Yakou looks stunned and surprised by Yugi's compliment.

In Yugi's battle phase, he declares the attack of Dark Magician Girl towards Yakou directly (Divine Beast Machine King Barbaros UR was previously destroyed by the special effect of Dimension Magic, so Yakou has nothing left to protect himself in this battle phase). Yakou closes his eyes as receiving the strike. He smiles and thinks that Yugi's strength is so high. His LP reduces to 0 (900-2000). Yugi eventually declares the victory over Yakou, and the game is now over.

The duel platform lowers to the ground level. Kaiba walks into Yugi and thanks him for taking back his Kaiba Corporation. At the same time, Yakou is thanking Gekkou for stopping him not to surrender and encouraging him to keep on the duel. He should have regretted if he had stopped it. Yakou then takes out The Devils Avatar card. He thinks that he should be sad to lose Pegasus but this should be fine. Yakou decides to tear The Devils Avatar card in pieces.

Jyonouchi and Honda have finally brought Anzu to the top of KC building. Yugi is so happy to see his friends again. Yakou and Gekkou realize that those people are the source of Yugi's strength. Yakou feels relieved that he didn't take them away from him. Depre and Richie appear to be safe. Yugi is running into his friends, and here is the happy ending of Yu Gi Oh R.
