Summary

The final battle between Yakou and Yugi is continued. Yugi now has 3 face-down cards and no monster on his field. On Yakou's side, he has 2 face-down cards, 1 Metal Devil Token created from The Devil's Sanctuary, and The Devils Avatar now transforming into Little Yugi's form.

Kaiba turns to talk to Gekkou about Yakou's play. As far as he knows, Yakou has never shown any special genius playing in the past. Gekkou confirms that Kaiba has already understood it correctly. Thus, Kaiba asks him again why Yakou is so strong now. As far as he can see, to obtain the devil god is nothing but a trigger for Yakou. Yakou even increases his inferiority towards Gekkou and makes it his power. Gekkou is surprised by Kaiba's comments. Kaiba asks whether Gekkou feels happy or sad about this. Gekkou looks uncertain and can't give any answer.

In the game, Yakou tells Yugi to fall into darkness, and Yugi accepts that challenge bravely. The battle starts at this point. Yakou declares the direct attack of the devil god, The Devils Avatar now in the form of Little Yugi, towards Yugi. He is confident that if the attack of his devil god can pass through, he will win.

Yugi says that it's too fast for the finish, opening his face-down trap card [Shadow Guardmen - Trap: During your opponent's battle phase, special summon 1 Guard Token (ATK 1/DEF 1) for each monster on your opponent's side of the field]. This trap can create Guardmen Token equal to the number of opponent's monsters in the opponent's battle phase. There are Metal Devil Token and The Devils Avatar on Yakou's field, so 2 Guardmen Tokens are created in defense position onto Yugi's field. Also, Shadow Guardmen allows them to have 1 defense point.

By these tokens, the attack of The Devils Avatar can't inflict damage through the player. Yakou looks mad and thinks that this is stupid. He asks whether Yugi really thinks that this trap card will be able to stop the god's attack. At this moment, Yakou opens his face-down spell card [Berserk Mode - Spell: All monsters on the field must change to attack position and participate in the battle phase. No monster can be removed form battle].

This card forces 2 Guardmen Tokens of Yugi to change from defense to battle phase and also to participate in battle. Yakou smiles and explains additional effect of Berserk Mode that it doesn't allow Yugi to reverse any card to remove his 2 Guardmen Tokens from the battle, either (In other words, 2 Guardmen must battle, no matter what). Yugi smiles as he doesn't intend to escape from the beginning. He confronts Yakou directly and declares that he will participate in battle.

At this moment, Kaiba has already be able to read Yugi's plan. He feels sorry to Gekkou that he gave Yugi a card of power to be used in this game. Kaiba yells loudly, telling Yugi to use the ultimate card he gave him defeat the devil god. Yugi accepts Kaiba's feeling. That card has already been ready.

Yugi opens his second face-down card [Monster Reborn ~ Shisha Sosei - Spell: Select a monster card either on your opponent's or your own graveyard and place it on the field under your control in attack or defense position. This is considered a special summon] to resurrect [Obelisk The Tormentor ~ Obelisk No Kyo Shin Hei - 10/4000/4000: If you offer 2 Monsters on your side of the Field as a Sacrifice while this card is face-up on the Field, you can destroy all Monster Cards on your opponent's side of the Field and inflict 4000 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points, or increase this Monster's ATK to infinity] from his cemetery onto the field in attack position.

Yakou has just realized that Yugi might previously send Obelisk into the graveyard when he summoned The Tricky. Anyway, he smiles. Although Yugi's monster is a god, his devil god can copy it. The Devils Avatar activates its special ability, changing its form from Little Yugi to the strongest monster on the field. It transforms into The Devil Obelisk with 4001 attack points (4000+1).

Gekkou thinks that this doesn't work. Although Obelisk The Tormentor is powerful, its power still can't exceed The Devils Avatar. Perhaps, Yugi had better taken the strike by his Guardmen Tokens. Kaiba tells Gekkou not to underestimate the power of god. Although Obelisk The Tormentor is in the opponent turn, it can attack by its highest power. It's the special effect of Obelisk. Yugi explains this special effect that he can sacrifice two Guardmen Tokens for Obelisk to increase its attack points to infinity. This infinite power is called Soul Energy Max.

Because Obelisk The Tormentor has infinite power, The Devil Obelisk also has the same infinite power. Infinite number can't have anything added or subtracted, so both of them have the same infinite power. At this point, Yakou claims that judgment is based on the god ranking. The Devils Avatar (or The Devil Obelisk) and Obelisk The Tormentor have different rakings. The Devils Avatar has higher rank (Yakou explains the god ranking system as a triangle in Episode 2 that Ra is at the top of the pyramid ranking while Obelisk and Osiris are at the base of the pyramid. The Devils Avatar is also at the top of the pyramid ranking or it has the same highest rank as Ra), so the attack of lower-level god like Obelisk will be negated.

Note: It's a basic math rule of thumb. Nothing can be added or subtracted from infinity. Any computation against infinity results in infinity.

Yugi doesn't look worried at all. He turns to Gekkou and tells him confidently that he is going to defeat Yakou. Gekkou realizes that this will be able to stop Yakou's growth. He faces up and begs yugi to do so. He also believes that Yugi will be able to stop Yakou.

Yakou says that he has already completed the order of his devil god's attack. The Devil Obelisk is moving quickly to smash down Obelisk. At this moment, Yugi reminds Yakou of what he said previously that their god rankings are different. He says that the level of Obelisk is going to be upgraded by Yakou's older brother, Gekkou.

Yugi immediately opens the third face-down card [Evolution of God ~ Kami No Shinka - Spell: Any other effect can't negate the ability of this card. Moreover, it can increase the attack and defense points of a monster by 1000]. Yakou becomes very surprised by seeing Gekkou's card here. Yugi explains that this card can upgrade Obelisk The Tormentor to the highest rank (The top of the pyramid ranking).

 Meanwhile, Obelisk The Tormentor is transforming into a new form, True Ancestor Obelisk. Yakou is getting very shocked. Yugi tells Yakou to prepare for his god's strike. Both Obelisk are clashing each other violently by their God Hand Impact. There appears big explosion on KC building and the result is still unknown.
