Summary

Yakou successfully plays Devil's Sanctuary to summon a Metal Devil Token. The special effect of Metal Devil Token is to copy existence of the opponent's player (Manga Only). It reflects Yami Yugi and becomes him with 98 LP or attack points. Because Metal Devil Token is now the strongest monster on the field, The Devils Avatar transforms into the dark form of Little Yugi with 99 attack points (98+1).

Noted: Instead of transforming into Metal Devil Token, which is now reflecting Yami Yugi, it transforms into Little Yugi. THE Tricky now has 0 attack point due to Disappearance of Power's effect, so Metal Devil Token appears to be the strongest monster on the field.

The most surprised person is Yami Yugi who sees the devil god transforming into his partner. Yakou tells Yami Yugi that Little Yugi has been lost in thought or felt depressed in defeat and despair. Everyone is getting surprised by that Yakou is serious to attack by Yugi's form of the devil god.

Yakou finally declares the attack of the dark form of Little Yugi towards Yami Yugi. Yami Yugi still in a shocking mode to be assaulted by his partner yells loudly, telling Little Yugi to stop. Suddenly, the dark form of Little Yugi is sealed by [Swords of Sealing Light - Hikari No Gofuuken - Spell: Flip all face-down monsters on your opponent's side of the field face-up. This card remains face-up on the field for three of your opponent's turns. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent can not declare the attack] quickly opened by Yami Yugi.

Yami Yugi claims that this will seal the attack of the devil god by 3 turns. Yakou understands that Swords of Sealing Light is a spell card that influences on his entire field including the devil god. He doesn't think that Yami Yugi, who has already used up all cards on his hand, has other better plays rather than this. Yugi looks at Yakou madly while Yakou is setting down 2 cards and ending his turn.

The turn comes to Yami Yugi. He realizes that Swords of Sealing Light can continue only for 3 turns. If he can't find the way to reverse the game during this time, he will be in trouble. Yami Yugi draws a card, and it's the only card on his hand. He plays it immediately, [Monster Recovery ~ Monster Kaishuu - Quick Play Spell: Unite all of your own monsters on your side of the field and your hand with your Deck and then shuffle it. Draw 5 new cards].

According to its effect, THE Tricky is returned onto his deck and he can draw 5 new cards. Gekkou admires Yami Yugi who could get such a good card during this time to obtain more cards onto his hand. He still doubts whether Yami Yugi will have monsters from those new cards that will be able to defeat the devil god. Of the 5 cards he could draw, Yami sets up 2 face-down cards and ends his turn.

Gekkou doubts by the fact that Yami Yugi didn't summon any monster. Yakou thinks that Yami Yugi didn't summon any monster to protect himself because he is relieved by Swords of Sealing Light. The turn moves to Yakou. He pays 1000 LP for the cost of Metal Devil Token, so his LP decreases to 900 (1900-1000). Yugi becomes surprised by Yakou's decision to pay the costs for Metal Devil Token despite the fact that his attack is still sealed by Sword of Sealing Light.

Yakou tells Yugi that he isn't going to give time Yugi for 3 turns, playing [De-Spell - Yuugou Kaijyo - Spell: Deactivate an effect of a magic card] to deactivate Swords of Sealing Light. By this, it's possible for the devil god to attack.

Yakou asks whether Yugi feels disappointed. He is afraid to say that the current devil god in Little Yugi's form really wants to defeat him. In other words, the dark form of Little Yugi represents suppressed anger over another personality. Yami Yugi looks very shocked by the anger of his partner that he has never been aware.

Yakou says that Yugi and another Yugi share the same boy: however, he doubts who actually dominates duels and holds the title of Duel King. From his understanding, Yami Yugi showed up and dueled in the final match against Pegasus at Duel Kingdom and the one against Marik at Battle City. All titles are under his name not his partner's. Little Yugi didn't gain anything, and everything was taken by Yami Yugi.

Yami Yugi hardly believes to what Yakou has just said about Little Yugi's true feeling. Yakou also understands that Yami Yugi is even going to take Anzu away. All of these contain into the anger of Little Yugi. Yakou laughs loudly as Yami Yugi becomes very confused by his partner's feeling.

Yakou thinks that he is in the similar situation. He also has anger against the person with the same face. Gekkou gets the title of Perfect Duelist and love and reliability from Pegasus. Everything is taken by his twin. Eventually, Little Yugi appears in place of Yami Yugi and calls for Yakou. He tells Yakou that he doesn't have such an anger that Yakou has just talked at all.

Yami Yugi is now listening to his partner in his mind. Little Yugi reveals his true feeling that Yami Yugi is existence that enlarges the possibility of his true identity. Also, Yami Yugi didn't take anything from him. Little Yugi has got many important friends like Jyonouchi and Honda and seen many people like Mai, Bakura, and Otogi after several duels because of Yami Yugi. He himself couldn't do this alone, but Yami Yugi widened this possibility for him (In sum, Yami Yugi helps Little Yugi make many important friends).

Yakou feels jealous and thinks that it's so stupid as crossing his eyes towards Gekkou. He realizes that Little Yugi has never been alone like him and believes that fear and shiver of the devil god, which is embodiment of anger, will overcome. Yakou then declares the battle phase, turning back to the game.

Little Yugi gives his last words to Yakou that if the devil god is the form of his anger, he will be the one to erase it. He meanwhile switches into Yami Yugi quickly as declaring his next move.
