Summary
Honda is now at the main room where Anzu has been captured under the machine. Then, Jyonouchi approaches into the room. Seeing him coming like this, Honda greets by asking to confirm Jyonouchi's victory. Jyonouchi gives him a smile to convince that he did. Honda notices the black duel disk on Jyonouchi's arm and asks what it is. Jyonouchi explains that the possessor of this duel disk represents the person who stands at the top of the card professors. His answer confuses Honda even more to think that Jyonouchi is the top of those people. He thinks that it fairly looks cheap. Jyonouchi becomes mad and thinks that Honda is rude to say that.
Jyonouchi turns to see Anzu and is glad to see that she is here and safe. He asks whether Honda doesn't carry her out alone because she is really too heavy. Honda is afraid that it isn't the right reason. Jyonouchi thinks that they should hurry to take her out. He sees many devices on his way, so he is about to pull a tube out. Honda yells loudly to stop Jyonouchi.
Mokuba explains Jyonouchi and Honda that they can't move Anzu now. She is presently linked to the devil god, and her heart (spirit) isn't in the body. If the link between her and the devil god doesn't disappear, her heart won't return. Jyonouchi becomes heated up. Despite the fact that Anzu is in front of him, he can't save her. Mokuba says that there may be one way to save Anzu. When the devil god becomes powerless or when it is beaten up, it's a chance to save her. Jyonouchi and Honda realize that this means everything is depending on Yugi who is going to fight Tenma Yakou.
Yugi and Gekkou finally reach the top deck of KC buiding where Yakou has waited for them. Kaiba and Willa are also with him. Yugi walks in and knees down closely to Kaiba, asking whether Kaiba is all right. To have Yugi worried about him, Kaiba has become dull. He stands up and tells Yugi that he has just been poisoned by the devil god. Also, seeing Yugi come all his way here, Kaiba assumes nobody could stop Yugi's proceed. He is sure about that because he should be the only one who actually beats Yugi. Seeing his big talk, Yugi smiles and feels relieved to see that Kaiba looks fine.
On the other side, Gekkou walks off to face Yakou sitting at the stairs of the duel platform. Yakou asks his twin unfriendly why Gekkou has come here. Gekkou says that R.A. Project has already failed and everything should be ended. Yakou obviously gets mad by such an order to end the project from Gekkou. He accepts that R.A. Project has already been failed to Kaiba and Yugi but not to Gekkou.
Yakou stands up and says that Gekkou was controlled by his twin who passed through the devil gods. Gekkou doesn't deny and accepts Yakou's words. He knows that he's a loser because he's powerless, so he has to entrust the battle against Yakou with the person standing behind him or Yugi. Gekkou chuckles as looking disappointed to his twin brother. He thinks that the title of Perfect Duelist of Gekkou is just an oversight.
Gekkou explains that Pegasus was the one who called him Perfect Duelist. Those words were his pride. However, once he had passed many duels, he was aware that Pegasus didn't look forward him that way. Under Pegasus' guide, when Yakou, Richie, and other minions were placed in a duel, they barely won. Even if they repeated their duels, their duelist level didn't change. Gekkou was unable to feel growth of his opponents at all. Thus, Pegasus means that Gekkou's growth is perfect.
Perhaps, Gekkou thought that Pegasus could see through the power of his eye (Millennium Eye) that his duelist level would no more increase. Yakou becomes very confused by Gekkou's words and holds his collar quickly. Gekkou further says as moving his face away that the one who was the best duelist with high growth is actually Yakou.
Yakou doesn't seem happy to hear that praise as releasing Gekkou violently. He feels that Gekkou was trying to comfort him by those words, so he becomes very angry. Gekkou is existence of the moon having light from that name given by Pegasus. On the contrary, Yakou considers him in a dark night, so he just needs some light as Gekkou has.
Now, R.A. Project that is going to help him get light into his hand is still alive. Anzu as a sacrifice for this project is still in his hand, and Mutou Yugi has already come his way to this final place. If Yakou can beat Yugi who sent Pegasus to death, Pegasus will be completely revived. Gekkou tells Yakou to hold on his thought. He tries to convince that what Keith Howard (Full name of Bandit Keith) told Yakou that Yugi murdered Pegasus isn't truth.
Yakou asks what Gekkou's talking about. The truth is that Pegasus was defeated by Mutou Yugi at Duelist Kingdom. After that, his death was received and his life was taken. It doesn't matter whose hands did that (Yugi is the cause of his death).
Yugi eventually steps out. Before anything, he confirms that the battle between him and Pegasus was the fight of genuine duelists. Next, he tells Yakou to release Anzu because she isn't involved in this battle. Yakou is afraid that he is unable to do so. He explains that Anzu has already been inserted into a part of Duel Link Server. If they try to separate her from the system, she will die. Yakou's right evil eye turns big as he claims that this is the divine punishment for Yugi.
Kaiba interrupts the conversation by telling Yugi to fight. In order to save Anzu, Yugi must prostrate the devil gods. Gekkou is concerned by that, at the same time Yugi is dueling, energy to revive Pegasus will be given to Yakou. Kaiba isn't afraid of that thing. That energy can better swallow the devil gods. Kaiba tells Yugi, an approved duelist with high pride, that he won't forgive him if he is defeated by the imitation gods of Yakou. Yugi looks at Kaiba and smiles.
Yakou challenges to come into the duel. Both of them are now standing on the duel platform lift up higher. When both of them stand by their duel disks and are ready, the final duel begins.
