Summary
Richie
shows his unique black duel disk that can't be dyed by any
color. It's the proof of the complete duelist. Thus, Gekkou
who claims the victory by the white light hope was painted
over this black bright.
The game between Richie and Gekkou is continued. Gekkou has
2400 LP left while Richie has full 4000 LP. Little Yugi thinks
that Gekkou is currently fighting in order to rescue Anzu,
stop the outrage to summon Pegasus back, and bring back Yakou.
Thus, he is convinced that Gekkou will win.
The turn is now with Gekkou. He draws a card and sets up
a face-down card. Then, he summons [Wonderbeat
Elf - 4/1700/1600: Increase the number of times this Monster
can attack while in your own Battle Phase by 1 for each other
Elf Monster] onto the field in attack position. He
explains its effect that, once in his battle phase, this monster
can attack more by 1 for each other Elf monster on the field.
Little Yugi thinks that Gekkou is coming to the right track.
Gekkou has Learning Elf on his field, so Wonderbeat Elf can
do one more attack besides its normal attack. After Wonderbeat
Elf destroys Twin Gun Fighter in the first normal strike,
it can attack Richie directly in the second attack.
Gekkou then declares the attack of Wonderbeat Elf against
Twin Gun Fighter. At this moment, Richie opens his face-down
trap card [Robbin' Whip ~ Goudatsu-hen
- Trap: Take control of an Equip Card on a Monster on your
opponent's side of the Field]. This card can take control
the equipment card of Gekkou's monster. Thus, Richie selects
to take Reflector now equipped with Learning Elf, equipping
it with Twin Gun Fighter. By the effect of Reflector, Gekkou
has to receive damage equal to a half of Wonderbeat Elf's
attack points. Thus, his LP decreases to 1550 (2400-1700/2).
Richie thinks that luck is with him. According to the special
effect of Wonderbeat Elf, he can do one attack. Gekkou plans
to use the second strike to attack Richie directly after Twin
Gun Fighter's destroyed. However, since Twin Gun Fighter isn't
destroyed and protected by Reflector, Wonderbeat Elf has no
choice but attack it again. Repeatedly, Wonderbeat Elf attacks
Twin Gun Fighter equipped with Reflector, so Gekkou's LP further
decreases to 700 (1550-1700/2).
Little Yugi hardly believes that the special effect of Wonderbeat
Elf would give Gekkou the opposite result. Richie smirks before
asking how Gekkou is gonna do. The difference seems too much.
Richie accepts that the concept of his deck and Gekkou's deck
may be the similar. Although their monsters' strength are
low, the monsters hold potential effects. This is the way
their decks are constructed. However, considering much differences
on their LP (Gekkou 700LP - Richie 4000LP), Richie is uncertain
whether it's because he has good luck in drawing or whether
he has higher strength.
Gekkou is afraid whether it may be so. He tells Richie that
after Pegasus lost, he recovered himself by working with I2
company. He also realizes that Richie approached into the
battle as a card professor to beat Mutou Yugi. Gekkou wants
to say that Richie's growth was also because of Pegasus' missing.
Pegasus' minions were all independent and don't have to rely
on him by summon him back by unjust way. Richie certainly
gets mad and asks whether it's really good for Gekkou that
Pegasus doesn't exist. Gekkou refuses that he doesn't mean
that. He just thinks that all people have grown up independently,
so he wonders for how long people are stopped to be called
Pegasus' kids. Richie yells and argues that the world without
Pegasus has no meaning for them. Therefore, they just want
to bring back their important person back. As Richie's thought,
Gekkou has different views from other Pegasus minions by nature.
As a result, he has to defeat him no matter what.
It's now Richie's turn. He draws a card and summons [Pierce
Musketeer - 4/1700/1000: A Monster in defense mode is inflicted
with Piercing Damage] onto the field in attack position.
He then declares the attacks of Twin Gun Fighter and Pierce
Musketeer together. Little Yugi sees that this is pretty bad
for Gekkou. At this moment, Gekkou opens his face-down trap
card [Holy Sacrifice - Trap: All damage
is transfered to 1 Monster in the Battle Phase]. Due
to its effect, all of damages he will received can be transferred
to Learning Elf. Thus, Learning Elf is destroyed for him.
When Learning Elf's sent to the cemetery, Gekkou can draw
a card by its special effect. Richie feels annoyed and think
that it's so smartish. He knows he can't deal damages to Gekkou
in this turn. Thus, he just sets up a face-down card and ends
his turn.
The turn comes to Gekkou. Drawing a card, he plays the magic
card [Owner's Mark ~ Shoyuusha no Tokuin
- Magic: All cards go to the control of their owners]
from his hand. This card can return Reflector from Twin Gun
Fighter to Gekkou's monster, Wonderbeat Elf. By this, when
Twin Gun Fighter is attacked, no damage can inflict to Gekkou
anymore.
Gekkou mentions that Pegasus is actually their master. People
without any relation became important family. Thus, Gekkou
expects that people, who know well how painful they were when
their important person was missing, shouldn't take things
from the others to make them feel the same.
Richie doesn't say anything but looks at Gekkou coldly. Gekkou
then opens his face-down magic card [Sacrifice
Goods ~ Sacrifice Goods - Trap: If a Monster being used as
a sacrifice has an Equip Card on it, that Equip card becomes
sacrifice material as well]. This card allows him to
use Reflector equipped with Wonderbeat Elf as a tribute. Thus,
giving two tributes, Reflector and Wonderbeat Elf, Gekkou
summons [Angel07 ~ Angel Oo Sebun -
7/2500/1500: The special abilities of all Monsters on your
opponent's side of the Field cannot be used] onto the
field in attack position.
Richie
looks scared. He realizes that it's a cyborg angel with ability
to negate all effects of monsters on his field. Angel07 then
attacks and destroys Twin Gun Fighter. Richie's LP decreases
to 3100 (4000+1600-2500). Richie feels that the situation
doesn't look good. He has Sand Mirage that can protect him
from any damage or effect. However, Cyborg angel, Angel07
has ability to negate the effect of Sand Mirage. He considers
this monster such an enemy to his deck. Gekkou sets up a face
down care before ending his turn. He calls for Richie's turn
quickly.
It's now Richie's turn. He draws a card, setting up a face-down
card and summons [Grenader - 4/1500/1100:
Inflict 500 points of damage to all Monsters on your opponent's
side of the Field besides the Monster that is the target of
an attack] onto the field in defense position. Turning
Pierce Musketeer into defense position, Richie ends his turn
quickly. At this point, the effect of Sand Mirage has been
done (This magic card can last only for three turns), so it
finally disappears.
Gekkou's turn is back. He draws a card actively, summoning
[Boomerang Elf - 4/1800/1500: Once during
a Battle Phase, you can change this Monster's attack target]
onto the field in attack position. Gekkou declares the attack
of Boomerang Elf and Angel07 against Grenader and Pierce Musketeer.
All monsters on Richie's field have been wiped out by now.
Little Yugi thinks that the chance has come. Although Richie's
play can inflict directly to the player, his field is blank
now. Gekkou ends his turn quickly, calling for Richie's turn.
It's doubtful that Richie declares no action in his turn.
Drawing a card, he ends his turn calmly. The turn comes to
Gekkou. He again declares the double attack of Boomerang Elf
and Angel07 against Richie directly. Gekkou claims that he
will be the one who proceeds to the next step. Suddenly, there
is big light sparkling, two face-down cards of Richie are
open, and Gekkou's monsters are gone. More surprisingly, Gekkou's
LP turns down to 0. Gekkou and little Yugi look pretty shocked.
Nobody knows what's gonna on except for Richie.
