Summary

On the other side, Kaiba is getting shocked by the story about The Devils Avatar god of Yakou. He argues that there are supposed to be only three gods of Osilisk, Obelisk, and Ra held by Yugi. Pegasus got the motive of the god cards from the stone table of ancient Egypt, drawing the three Egyptian god cards. Besides them, there is no other god at all. Kaiba argues because he strongly believes that the three Egyptian god cards are the only gods in the world.

As far as Yakou remembers, his god card was not created by Pegasus. It's Pegasus's inheritance and originally non-existing god. Kaiba looks surprised by this fact that he has never known. Pegasus actually created divine beasts. However, those cards went across the creation of Pegasus, holding such mighty power. Thus, Pegasus felt painful and tried to eliminate those gods by his own hand. Kaiba smirks and thinks that it's such a coward story. Yakou further says that Pegasus, however, couldn't bear destroying the cards he created by his hand. As a result, he sealed them in Egypt. Yakou expects Kaiba to know this well.

In case the mighty power of Egyptian gods is driven recklessly, Pegasus designed anti gods to oppose it. Those are Devils Avatar cards. Kaiba looks surprised by the equal power to the power of the three Egyptian gods that can seal their power. Yakou, anyhow, doesn't know why Pegasus hesitated to give out this design.

Yakou is strongly convinced that this time has come for him to fulfill Pegasus' will. He shows up his The Devils Avatar card and declares that he will seal the three Egyptian gods and give the punishment to Mutou Yugi. Kaiba smirks and asks whether Yakou thinks seriously that he can beat Yugi merely because he's holding such powerful cards. He believes that Yakou's duelist level still can't catch up with his brother, Gekkou. Yakou opens his scary right one and says that only he not Gekkou can touch and use devil cards. He asks whether Kaiba wants to test that. Kaiba certainly looks interested to beat Yakou and domesticate the gods by his hand again. He agrees to the challenge. Yakou then asks about the battle place. Kaiba leads Yakou out, moving the Avex Arena.

At the duel area after the victory of little Yugi, Depre keeps on crying heavily. He thinks that everything's because Pegasus was away. Depre tries to blame Yugi for everything. If Yugi hadn't appeared, Pegasus wouldn't have disappeared. Depre just prays to see Pegasus again. Richie holds up collapsing Depre and calls the guards to take him out and take care of him. Richie turns back to look at little Yugi unfriendly. He says that he has watched the duel from the beginning. Yugi was great to defeat Depre as the rumor he has heard. Little Yugi tells him that he couldn't be defeated in order to save Anzu. Richie explains that he and Depre were brought up by Pegasus, so Pegasus seemed like their sun. Without Pegasus, they wouldn't have been able to live. Similar to little Yugi, Depre just desired seeing Pegasus again. Richie says angrily as holding his hand so tightly.

Little Yugi asks whether his next opponent will be Richie. Richie thinks so, but he notes something. Basically, he doesn't a duel beating all up card professor friends. Card professors normally battle to meet the result of victory or defeat. Richie can't forgive the betrayal of Gekkou who was also one of Pegasus' minions, so he expects his opponent to be Gekkou not little Yugi. Gekkou understands well, so he tells little Yugi that he will hold on this duel. He says that this isn't about Pegasus. Anzu, Yugi, or even Kaiba Corporation have no involvement. Nevertheless, it's about the conclusion among Pegasus' minions. Richie adds that it doesn't matter whether it's about someone's sake, that someone is sacrified, or that someone is captured. He and his friends who live for Pegasus aren't related. Gekkou claims that he can't forgive Pegasus anyway. Richie declares to beat Gekkou and then begins the duel.

First turn comes to Gekkou. He draws a card and summons [Learning Elf - 3/1400/1500: When this card is sent into the cemetery, draw a card] in defense position. He sets up two face-down cards and ends his turn.

Richie sees it such a trash monster before running on his turn. Drawing a card, he sets up two reversed cards on the field. Then, he summons [Twin Gun Fighter - 4/1600/1000: When this card attacks, inflict damages equal to the attack points of this monster to the player] onto the field in attack position. He declares its attack, Double Fires, against Learning Elf quickly. At this moment, Gekkou opens his face-down card [Reflector - Equipment Magic: When the opponent attacks, inflict damages equal to a half of the attack points of the attacking monster to the opponent] and equips it with Learning Elf. It can reflect the attack of Twin Gun Fighter back to Richie.

At the same time, Richie opens his face-down card that causes the fire to pass through Richie's body. Richie explains that it's because of his magic card [Sand Mirage ~ Nigemizu - Magic: The player will not be affected by any magic or trap, nor be an attack target. This effect lasts for three turns]. It protects Richie from any effect of magic or trap cards and any attack for three turns. Thus, Richie's safe, but there appears opening hold on Gekkou's breast and his LP is decreasing. Richie explains the special effect of Twin Gun Fighter that it can inflict damages equal to the attack points of this monster directly to Gekkou. Therefore, Gekkou's LP decreases to 2400 (4000-1600). Little Yugi considers this special effect such an annoying matter.

Richie accepts that, before, he was never able to defeat Gekkou, whom Pegasus called a perfect duelist. After he was separate from Pegasus, he as a card professor has battled against many duelists and climbed up to the top ranking of card professors. The thing for the top of the card professors is only in Richie's hand. It's [Black Duel Disk]. Richie says while showing his black duel disk to people. He will teach Gekkou, who's called the perfect duelist, and let him pay back what Gekkou used to do with him in the past. Then, Richie will take the title of the perfect duelist Pegasus gave Gekkou to himself. Gekkou looks a bit confused by Richie's strong intention. The duel between them has just started.
