Summary
Little
Yugi is getting depressed by the fact that he may not be able
to defeat Depre by his own power. Thus, Yami Yugi calls him
in his mind. He feels worried about little Yugi and asks whether
little Yugi is fine since he doesn't act normally. Little
Yugi doesn't answer, so Yami Yugi asks him whether little
Yugi wants him to go out and fight instead. Little Yugi feels
confused to answer, and Yami Yugi seems to understand his
partner well.
Meanwhile, Depre yells that he will defeat both Yugi to revenge
for Pegasus-Sama. Yami Yugi finally appears and warns Depre
not to underestimate little Yugi. He believes that little
Yugi is a true duelist, so he doesn't need his help to beat
Depre. Even little Yugi is surprised by Yami Yugi's confidence.
Depre realizes that Yami Yugi is the real personality. He
understands that Yami Yugi appears because he considers himself
more appropriate opponent to Depre. Yami Yugi is afraid to
confirm Depre that his opponent in this fight is still little
Yugi not himself. Thus, Depre should be prepared for that.
Depre
looks a bit surprised by Yami Yugi's response before little
Yugi is changing back to the duel. Little Yugi reminds himself
of what he used to say. This battle is for him to save Anzu,
so he has to fight by himself until the end. It means nothing
if he can't stand by his own. Depre understands little Yugi's
answer, so he says to make this place become little Yugi's
grave of defeat. He sets up one card on the field before ending
his turn. He also declares to beat little Yugi and drags Yami
Yugi out.
The turn comes to little Yugi. Yami Yugi recalls little Yugi
in his mind that this is the deck with the power that little
Yugi creates by his own. Therefore, cards and monsters all
represents little Yugi in this duel. Little Yugi gets what
Yami Yugi wants to tell him. He then draws a card, sets up
a reversed card, and ends his turn quickly. Depre has realized
that his drawn monster must not be a high-level monster.
It's now Depre's turn. He draws a card and considers two
face-down cards on little Yugi's field. Those may be what
little Yugi has prepared to attack the weakness of his deck
by eliminating Cosmic Space. If Cosmic Space is gone, the
attack points of Greed Quasar will become 0 (The attack points
of Greed Quasar are equal to 300*the number of life star).
Anyway, Depre has already prepared for this situation. His
reversed card is the second Cosmic Space, so he has another
spare one and leaves no opening chance for little Yugi.
Depre declares his coming. He summons [EBE
Epsilon - 4/1500/1600: When this card goes to the Graveyard,
give 1 monster its Life Stars] in attack position.
In his previous turn, Greed Quasar had 4200 attack points
from 14 life stars (14*300). In this turn, Greed Quasar has
only 3600 attack points for the remaining 12 life stars (12*300)
because two turns have passed (The number of life star decreases
every turn of both sides according to the effect of Cosmic
Space). Depre declares the attack of Greed Quasar, Prominence
Napalm, in his battle phase. Little Yugi receives the direct
attack, so his LP decreases to 400 (4000-3600).
The
attack of Depre hasn't finished yet. He declares the next
attack of EBE Epsilon against little Yugi again, expecting
this strike to end everything. Gekkou is very worried about
little Yugi. At this moment, Toy Magician appears from Toy
Box to block the attack of EBE Epsilon. Little Yugi declares
the counter attack, Block Demolition, of Toy Magician with
weak sound. EBE Epsilon is cut into pieces, and Depre's LP
decreases to 3900 (4000+1500-1600). Depre looks a bit surprised
while seeing Toy Magician boosting up its power. Depre wonders
whether Toy Magician is getting angry because his master was
hurt.
Little Yugi surprises Depre again when he opens his face-down
card. It's the trap card [Rage ~ Kanshakudama
- Equipment Trap: Activates when the Player is given a Direct
Attack. Attack Power increases by the amount of damage received.
This value is cut in half at the end of each turn]
equipped with Toy Magician. By its effect, when little Yugi
received direct damages, the attack points of the equipped
monster, Toy Magician, can increase by the damages received.
Little Yugi previously received 3600 damage points, so the
attack points of Toy Magician go up to 5200 (1600+3600).
Little
Yugi yells that although he's burnt out, people will still
keep on stopping Yakou's stupid plan and save Anzu. Depre
doesn't understand what little Yugi is babbling. According
to another effect of Rage, the increasing attack points of
Toy Magician will be halved when Depre ends his turn. In other
words, the attack points of Toy Magician will become 3400
(1600+3600/2) in the next turn of little Yugi. On the other
side, Greed Quasar's life stars are supposed to be 13, decreasing
by one after he ends his turn. However, due to the special
effect of EBE Epsilon, it can add it life star to Greed Quasa.
Thus, the current life stars of Greed Quasar become 14, increasing
its attack points to 4200 (300*14). When he ends his turn,
one life star will be gone as a result of Cosmic Space's effect.
This will also result in the attack points of 3900 (300*13)
for Greed Quasar in the next little Yugi's turn. In sum, Greed
Quasar still has higher attack points than Toy Magician's.
Depre is afraid to say that the anger of Toy Magician may
means nothing. Yami Yugi encourages little Yugi that it won't
be worthless. Still at the end of Depre's battle phase, little
Yugi opens another reversed card [Strike
Back - Magic: Immediately following the end of your Rival’s
Battle Phase, carry out your own Battle Phase]. This
card allows little Yugi to perform his battle phase once after
Depre's battle phase. Depre looks pretty shocked while Toy
Magician exposes its anger with full stream of 5200 attack
points against Greed Quasar with 4200 attack points (after
life stars of EBE Epsilon are added to be 14 life stars multiplied
by 300). Greed Quasar is finally destroyed as Depre's LP decreases
to 2900 (3900+4200-5200). Depre's turn seems to end here.
The
final turn comes to little Yugi. As Depre previously mentioned,
the attack points of Toy Magician decrease to 3400 (1600+3600/2),
but it's enough to end the game. Little Yugi declares its
attack against Depre directly. Depre gets the direct hit until
his LP becomes 0 (2900-3400). His face seems to be broken
in pieces like mind crush. Yami Yugi is happy with little
Yugi for his great victory by his own power.
