Summary
It's
now little Yugi's turn. Depre rushes him to begin his move
since he doesn't have any monster left on his field to protect
himself. He draws a card and analyzes the situation carefully.
Although he plans to summon 4 star monster in this plan and
to sacrifice it to summon a higher rank monster in the next
turn, it will be sent to the graveyard soon by Depre's combo.
Thus, he thinks of a new plan to fight against Depre's tactic.
Little Yugi sets up a face-down card and summons [Toy
Magician - 4/1600/1500] onto the field in a defense
position. Then, he ends his turn here shortly.
Note: Depre's combo can be called the space
combo played with special stars. By the effect of field magic,
Cosmic Space, all monsters are given life stars equal to the
number of their star level. Life stars decrease by one at
the end of both sides' turns. If the number of life stars
on the monster becomes 0, the monster must disappear.
Depre understands that little Yugi can merely summon the
trash monster like that when he has to face against Zeta Reteculant.
The turn moves back to him. He summons [Lyra
the Giver - 4/1800/1500: The life stars of this monster can
be added to another monster] onto the field in an attack
position. He explains its effect that the life stars of Lyra
the Giver can be given to another monster. Little Yugi looks
at Zeta Reteculant that has 2 life stars left. If Lyra the
Giver gives its life stars to Zeta Reteculant, it just increases
the turn for the monster to stay on the field.
Note: In the previous episode, Zeta Reteculant
had 4 life stars left in Depre's turn. Then, when Depre declared
to end his turn, Zeta Reteculant had 3 life stars left. In
this episode, one turn of little Yugi has just passed, so
one more life star decreased. Zeta Reteculant, therefore,
ends up with 2 life stars in the current turn of Depre.
Depre
then begins his attack of Zeta Reteculant against defending
Toy Magician. At this moment, little Yugi opens his reversed
magic card [Toy Box - Magic: Place up
to 2 Toy Monsters on the field or hand in the Toy Box. The
monsters in this box can't be attacked. When this box is empty,
this card is sent to the graveyard]. Due to its effect,
Toy Magician can hide into the box and be protected from any
attack. Also, little Yugi places another monster card into
this Toy Box. He explains that the monsters in the box don't
receive any magic effect. In other words, the effect of life
star combo of Depre doesn't affect little Yugi's monsters
in this box. Gekkou agrees to little Yugi's tactic. At present,
there are two Toy monsters in the box. Next turn is the chance
little Yugi to sacrifice them and summon a higher rank monster.
Depre wonders whether the high rank monster will be the last
card on little Yugi's hand.
Actually, the last card on little Yugi's hand is Polymerization.
He doesn't have any monster card on his hand at all. If he
can't summon any high rank monsters, he will lose his Toy
monsters wastefully. Depre declares to end his turn here.
At this moment, Zeta Reteculant's life star reduces from 2
to 1, and Lyra the Giver's life star also goes down from 4
to 3.
It's
now little Yugi's turn. After drawing a card, he returns the
monster he placed into Toy Box in the previous turn, Toy Tank,
onto his fiend. Gekkou wonders whether little Yugi needs only
one monster for the tribute. Little Yugi sacrifices it to
summon [Darkred Enchanter - 6/2300/2200].
This should explain that he drew and got Darkred Enchanter
in this turn. Depre also becomes amazed since he thinks little
Yugi would have played Toy Box to sacrifice two monsters.
Little Yugi realizes that his Darkred Enchanter (2300) still
can't oppose Zeta Reteculant with 2400 attack points. Although
Zeta Reteculant has only 1 life star left and it's supposed
to disappear at the end of this little Yugi's turn, it has
the special effect to remain two EBE tokens onto the field.
Little Yugi thinks carefully and decides that he had better
not to attack. He turns Darkred Enchanter into a defense position
and ends his turn. At this moment, Darkred Enchanter's life
stars decrease from 6 to 5, and Lyra the Giver's life star
also goes down from 3 to 2. Moreover, Zeta Reteculant's life
star turns from 1 to 0, so it begins to disappear.
Seeing
little Yugi hesitate to attack, Depre wonders whether this
is the true power of Yugi's real side. As little Yugi previously
analyzed, when Zeta Reteculant's sent to the cemetry, it remains
two EBE tokens with atk 500/def 300 onto the field. Gekkou
sees that similar to what little Yugi did before, Depre can
sacrifice two EBE tokens to call out a higher rank monster.
Depre says that his summoned monster will be different from
little Yugi's tepid monster. Sacrificing two EBE tokens, he
summons [Greed Quasar - 7/x/x: The attack
and defense points of this monster are equal to the number
of Life Star * 300. Add the number of Life Stars to this monster
equal to the number of Life Stars on the destroyed monster]
onto the field in an attack position. The attack and defense
of this monster are equal to the number of life star*300.
Thus, their total points become 2100/2100 (7*300). Depre further
decides to activate the special effect of Lyra the Giver at
this timing, giving its 2 remaining life stars to Greed Quasar.
Thus, Greed Quasar's attack and defense points move up to
2700 (2100 + 2*300).
Depre declares the attack of Greed Quasar against Darkred
Enchanter. Greed Quasar straights its arms to pull Darkred
Enchanter's body and eat it. In addition to the special effect
of Greed Quasar, it can add up the life stars of the destroyed
monster into itself. Darkred Enchanter has 6 life stars, so
Greed Quasar ends up with 14 life stars (7+2+5) or 4200 attack
points (14*300). Depre doesn't care how many monsters little
Yugi is gonna summon. They will be eaten and add up their
life stars to his monster. Gekkou has just realized such a
scary combo of Depre. His monster can obtain the opponent's
life star to increase its attack points. He wonders whether
there will be some way to beat it up.
Depre
tells little Yugi that this space world is such a tough place
for the weak like him, laughing out loud. Richie thinks that
this is Depre's style to beat up the defending monsters of
the opponent and increase the attack points of his own monster.
Little Yugi looks at his card and feels so depressed. He thinks
that he has no chance left to win and save Anzu. Depre begins
to say that this duel is enough for him, calling for another
Yugi, who is the real duel king fighting against Pegasus,
to appear. He sees that little Yugi's level hasn't been enough
yet, and he has done enough with him. Thus, he suggests little
Yugi change to Yami Yugi since he's gonna beat both of them.
Yami Yugi talks to little Yugi in his mind that he has got
everything. He then appears and tells Depre not to look down
his partner. Depre wonders whether Yami Yugi appears to salvage
this duel. Anyway, Yami Yugi believes that little Yugi is
a true duelist. Without his help, the power of little Yugi
can defeat Depre. The key point that Yami Yugi is talking
is about Toy Magician of little Yugi still sealed in Toy Box.
The strong bond between them is going to show its real power.
