Summary

Kaiba has finally faced Tenma, stepping into the controller room and claiming that Tenma's dirty project will end up here. Tenma certainly doesn't welcome him. Anyway, Kaiba walks with anger in and then hits Tenma by his card bag. He tells him seriously to return the control of this building. Tenma replies as his mouth is bleeding that the project has been running and can't be stopped. Kaiba becomes angrier and holds Tenma's collar. Tenma tells him that everything will be finished soon. The duel ring server storing card data of Pegasus is altering from heterogeneous data to homogeneous data. Once it's done, it will finish. Kaiba completely doesn't understand what Tenma is talking about. Turning to the near controller room, he has just noticed Anzu laying inside a weird machine without consciousness. Kaiba becomes very surprised by her appearance and the strange machine.

Tenma gets up and explains that R.A Project [Rebirth of Avatar] is the plan to use Mazaki Anzu become a piece to revive Pegasus' soul. He has to use Duel Ring Server convert the heterogeneous data into homogeneous data and place in the body of Anzu. Then, all scattered souls with Pegasus' personality will be put into her body. Kaiba absolutely thinks that it's ridiculous. He argues that no digital data (0 and 1 data) can combine with unscientific soul. Tenma explains that Kaiba has experienced something like this by himself before. In Battle City, he was guided by something to sacrifice Obelisk to summon Blue Eyes without reasons. At Duel Tower, he and Yugi shared something after their gods, Obelisk and Osiris, attacked against each other. Kaiba reminded himself of the ancient images he saw during those events. Pegasus attaches his soul in each card he creates. Thus, Tenma believes that if he can gather the whole data of those cards, he will get his scattered soul back.

Kaiba tells Tenma to shut up. He still doesn't believe in this supernatural thing. Tenma explains that there is the successful experiment on this theory. Previously, Pegasus scattered a person's soul at Duel Kingdom by the punishment game. After that, Tenma refined the person's soul from his deck holding the [Sword of the Heart] of the duelist. The result was successful. That person is now here. Kaiba hardly believes the existance of the person. Tenma opens the monitor to show his successful experiment. That persons is actually [Bandit Kieth]. Kaiba looks more amazed when he sees that Kieth is currently with Yugi. Tenma says that Yugi has been defeating many card professors he prepared. The more he fights, the more his soul shakes card souls and makes it conscious. This helps Tenma's plan accomplish.

On the other side, Keith, Gekkou, little Yugi, and Anzu are facing two new card professors. Keith asks why they appear here. Gekkou looks uncertain, so little Yugi asks whether he knows them. Tenma explains that they are like him, the kids adopted and trained by Pegasus. In other words, they are his adopted siblings. The are the top duelists of the card professors guild, No#1 is [Richie Merced] and No#2 is [Depre Scott]. Both of them greet that they have come to meet Yugi and Gekkou. Anyway, Richie turns to look and talk to Keith unfriendly, calling him an old uncle (very rude in Japanese to call someone old uncle unless he is a real uncle of your family). He starts hitting Keith by leading people here as baits in order to bring out his satisfied person (perhaps, Jyonouchi). Keith gets mad and asks whether Richie intends to stand on him. Richie further hits him, asking whether Kieth thinks that his no#1 remains forever.

Little Yugi can't stand seeing, so he interferes to stop. Richie asks why Yugi has to help Keith who is just a hindrance. Gekkou tells his friend to stop because his target isn't Keith. Depre asks Gekkou why he stays on little Yugi's side. It's the fact that Pegasus selected Tenma and Gekkou as successors, so Gekkou is supposed to be on Tenma's side. Gekkou explains that he doesn't want to bring others into this project. Richie yells at him that they were brought up by Pegasus, so Pegasus is his first priority. He completely agrees to this plan to bring Pegasus back, so he won't forgive Gekkou who is against it. On the other side, Depre talks to Yugi that this will become the revenge for Pegasus. He will defeat Yugi to get Kaiba Corporation. Little Yugi argues that he won't allow them use his important person for the sacrifice of this project either. When both sides feel and ready enough for the battle, Richie and Depre lead them to the last duel stage. Meanwhile, Keith tries to get up and walks away to the other side alone.
