Summary
The duel between Jyonouchi (LP500) and the card professor, Mendo
Cino (LP 3000), is continued. Although Jyonouchi has Psycho Shocker
(2400/1500) on his field while Mendo has Deathscythe Killer (2300/1600)
on his field, he seemingly doesn't have advantage. According to
the effect of Mendo's magic card, Labor Pain, when a monster is
summoned onto the field, each player must get direct 1000 damage
points. Also, Deathscythe Killer has a special effect to increase
its attack points by the attack points of a sacrificed monster.
Moreover, by the effect of the field magic, Kamakiri Egg, a Baby
Kamakiri with 500 attack points can be summoned onto the field in
each turn. By this combo, Deathscythe Killer's attack points, therefore,
can now become 2800 (2300 + 500) when Baby Kamakiri is sacrificed.
Honda is now getting worried about Jyonouchi since his monster can't
stand that kind of higher attack points at all. Mendo asks what
Jyonouchi intends to do. Jyonouchi has no choice but ends his turn
calmly. His desperate act really pleases Mendo who feels very confident
by his victory in the next turn.
Mendo then changes his attitude a bit toward Jyonouchi. He admires
him that Jyonouchi has done his best as a cheap duelist. Although
he gets surprise a bit by the appearance of Psycho Shocker, he feels
that the fun time is enough. He tells Jyonouchi to be prepared for
the defeat. Now, turn is with Mendo. New Baby Kamikiri is summoned
onto the field by the effect of Kamakiri Egg. Thus, there are now
two Baby Kamikiri on the field. Mendo sacrifices two Baby Kamikiri,
with 500 attack points each, to increase the attack points of Deathscythe
Killer to 3300 (2300 + 500 + 500). Honda is getting more worried.
If Jyonouchi is attacked by this great hit, he will be defeated
immediately. Mendo then declares the attack of Deathscythe Killer,
Deathscythe Hell, against Psycho Shocker. At this moment, Jyonouchi
opens his reversed magic card, Right Hand Shield Left Hand Sword
[ Right Hand Shield Left Hand Sword~ Migiteni
Tate O Hitarite Ni Ken O - Magic: Change the points between attack
and defense points of all monsters on the field]. According
to this effect, Deathscythe Killer's attack and defense (3300/1600)
points become 1600/3300 while Psycho Shocker's attack and defense
points (2400/1500) become 1500/2400 respectively. Anyway, Psycho
Shocker still has fewer attack points, so it is finally destroyed.
Jyonouchi's LP decreases to 400 (500+1500-1600).
Mendo
becomes more annoyed. He still says that Jyonouchi hasn't enough
LP left to summon a new monster. Because the permanent effect of
Labor Pain remains, the new summon requires 1000 LP as a tribute.
Mendo tells Jyonouchi not to play for time. At this moment, Mendo
notices a big machine appearing behind Jyonouchi. Jyonouchi tells
Mendo not to be worried because the duel is gonna end shortly by
his defeat. He suddenly opens his reversed trap card, Time Machine,
to summon a monster with the attack points from the previous turn
back onto the field [Time Machine ~ Toki No
Kikai Time Machine - Trap: Special summon a monster with the attack
points from the previous turn onto the field]. In other words,
Psycho Shocker with full 2400 attack points is summoned specially
back by this Time Machine. Since Deathscythe Killer's power is reduced
by the effect of Right Hand Shield Left Hand Sword, it can't stand
Psycho Shocker at all. Certainly, Mendo is getting surprise and
doesn't expect Jyonouchi's great play in such a situation. Thus,
Psycho Shocker destroys Deathscythe Killer by Cyber Energy Shock.
Mendo's LP significantly decreases to 2200 (3000 + 1600 - 2400).
Mendo hardly believes that he gets the damages from the cheap duelist
while Jyonouchi and Honda become delightful.
Mendo's
turn hasn't been finished yet. He then normally summons Guard Mantis
in a defense position [Guard Mantis - 3/1000/2400].
Due to this summon, Mendo's LP reduces to 1200 (2200-1000) following
the effect of Labor Pain. Jyonouchi returns the previous words back
to Mendo; he is now also playing for time. Next turn comes to Jyonouchi.
Drawing a card, he plays the magic card, Stop Defense, to change
the mode of Guard Mantis into an attack mode [Stop
Defense ~ Defense Shubi Fuuji - Magic: Select one of your opponent's
monster and switch it to attack position. If the card is face-down,
flip it face up. If the card has a flip effect, it is activated
immediately]. Meanwhile, Mendo hardly believes again that
Jyonouchi is merely a $500 duelist. Jyonouchi declares the last
attack of Psycho Shocker against Guard Mantis at once. Therefore,
Mendo's LP finally becomes 0 (1200 + 1000 - 2400), and Jyonouchi
becomes the winner. At this point, Mendo has just realized that
Jyonouchi is actually pretty strong. His tactics mean nothing to
him at all.
Suddenly,
loud and strange sound comes around. Honda points Jyonouchi to look
outside. People are getting amazed by big Blue Eyes Jet of Kaiba.
They understand that Kaiba has eventually returned from America.
On the other side, Mokuba tells his brother that the radar can catch
something coming after their jet quickly. Kaiba suddenly increases
the jet's speed and changes its position so that he can see closer
what that thing is. Apparently, it appears as a dragon. It is trying
to protect the building and doesn't let them in. Kaiba then opens
his jet and moves out. He claims loudly that this he and Mokuma
create this Kaiba Corporation. It is the monument for the beginning
of their dream. Thus, he won't forgive Tenma who uses the stupid
dragon dirty his valuable thing. Kaiba draws his card and claims
that he is going to show the real guardian dragon. Undoubtedly,
Blue Eyes White Dragon is summoned and destroys the protecting dragon.
After that, Kaiba lands his jet on the top of Kaiba Corporation.
A card professor steps out and greets him. He is glad to see a famous
rare card, Blue Eyes White Dragon and would like to test it with
his [White Horns Dragon Deck]. Kaiba
becomes more furious, saything that he has no time for any farce.
Also, he tells the card professor to get out off his way. The card
professor explains that this building is now totally controlled
by Tenma Yakou. Kaiba can't definitely break through it. His option
is either to win for the next step or to lose for the down step.
Briefly, if Kaiba would like to go on, he has to draw a conclusion
in a duel...
