Summary

Fusing the three swordsmen, Yugi finally summons the heavenly ultimate swordman [Arcana Knight Joker]. Tenma is getting amazed by Yugi's play that is diffierent from what he has expected. Instead of sacrificing the three monsters to summon a god, Yugi fuses them into a new monster. Tenma can also feel that Yugi's fighting spirit seems not lose his evil god as he did previously. Anyway, Tenma (2300 LP) claims that his Devils Dread-Root has 5000 attack points, and the attack points of Arcana Knight Joker has to be halved due to evil god's special effect. At this moment, Yugi's LP is 1550 while his Arcana Knight Joker remains 1900 attack points (3800/2). In any way, Tenma is certain that Arcana Knight Joker can't defeat his god. According to the rule, the fusion monster can not attack in the turn that it is summoned. Thus, Yugi has to end his turn.

Tenma realizes that Yugi can't summon gods since the summon of the gods is sealed. Thus, he has to depend only on the fusion monster. Tenma is wondering whether this is the best that Yugi can do to oppose him. Yugi looks more calm as usual now and no longer is afraid of Tenma. On the contrary, he thinks that Tenma is the one who is afraid of his Egyptian gods. Thus, Tenme intends to give him the fear of his evil god, calling Yugi's full name to let him prepare himself for the attack. Then, he declares the attack of Devils Dread-Root, Fierce Knock Down, against Arcana Knight Joker. At this moment, Yugi opens his face-down trap card, Illusion of Circle [Illusion of Circle ~ Gensou No Jubaku - Trap: Select a monster on the opponent's side of the field. Any effect of the selected monster is invalid. Decrease the attack points of the selected monster by 500 points]. According to its effect, the attack points of Devils Dread-Root decrease by 500 and its special ability to halve the attack points is negated. In other words, Devils Dread-Root's attack points become 4500 (5000-500), and Arcana Knight Joker's attack points return to the original points of 3800. However, Tenma says that the trap card can't stop the attack of his evil god anyway. Devils Dread-Root hits Arcana Knight Joker very strongly. Nevertheless, Tenma is getting amazed by that the attack of the evil god is stopped. Yugi declares confidently that the power of fear can't win at all. He then opens another face-down magic card, Armament Regeneration [Armament Regeneratio ~ Busou Saisei - Magic: The equipment card in both fields can be equipped with a monster on the field]. Thus, Yugi decides to equip the magic card, Sword of Lightning, from his graveyard with Arcana Knight Joker. Due to its ability, Arcana Knight Joker's attack points increase by 800 points. As a result, its total attack points are 4600 (3800+800). Yugi declares its attack, Lightning Thunder Blade, to break through the fear of Devils Dread-Root (4500). When Devils Dread-Root is destroyed, Tenma's LP goes down to 2200 (2300+4500-4600).

The spirit of Tenma seems to leave his body. He hardly imagines that his god would be defeated by any monster other than gods. However, his puposed has already been fulfilled. Tenma, in the spirit form, says good bye to the body, that is actually his brother, and then disappears. It is now Yugi's turn. Knowing nothing, he lets Arcana Knight Joker attack Tenma directly. Suddenly, Tenma's servant calls him to stop the attack. Holding Tenma up, he tells Yugi that Tenma's intention to fight has already gone. Thus, the winner of this game is Yugi. Then, another Tenma congratulates Yugi to his victory through the big screen. Yugi is certainly getting amazed by the second Tenma. Tenma admires Yugi from the screen that Yugi is really great to defeat Devils Dread-Root. He confirms that this appearance on the screen is real, and he has stayed on the top floor of the building. Anyway, the person who dueled against Yugi is also real. Tenma toke over his body and controlled him to duel. He introduces his older twin brother [Tenma Gekkou]. While Yugi is getting surprised, Gekkou tries to stand up and tears Devils Dread-Root card. Yakou thanks his brother for his help, so the RA project can be advanced. Although Gekkou is trying stop his younger brother's act, Yakou doesn't listen. Yakou lets Yugi see the result of what Yugi did, pointing to Anzu sitting in a machine behind him. On the screen, Yugi sees Anzu seems unconscious although she is openning her eyes. Yakou explains that her body and soul were separated by the strength of the evil god. Yugi gets angry and also tells Yakou not to lay his fingers on Anzu. He tries to call Anzu, but she has no response at all. Yugi doesn't understand what Yakou exactly to Anzu. Yakou says that Anzu's soul has already gone from her body. His RA Project [R = Rebirth, A = Avatar] is to summon Pegasus J. Crawford back. He is wondering whether Yugi can stop his plan. Then, Yakou disappears from the screen.

Gekkou explains to Yugi that Gekkou is like Pegasus. Pegasus couldn't forget Cynthia and tried every way to see her again. Similarly, Yakou would like to see Pegasus again. In fact, to see Pegasus again is also Gakkou's wish, too. Hearing these words, Yugi is getting mad. Gekkou tells him he doesn't think about the sacrifice to fulfill his wish as Yakou does. He was controlled by the power of the evil god in the previous duel. It was the battle to take out the energy and separate Anzu's body and soul apart. In fact, Devils Dread-Root shouldn't have been summoned but he couldn't help anything. Anyway, Anzu's heart now remains in the duel ring server of the building. Gekkou gives Yugi Anzu's card so that he can summon her. Yugi places the card in his duel disk and Anzu's appearance comes out. However, both of them can't touch each other. Anzu thanks Yugi for everything he does for her. Gekkou reminds Yugi of the vision created by the duel system, so she isn't real. Yugi tells Anzu to wait for him. No matter what, he must save her. Seeing Yugi look desparated, she tries to cheer him up. Yugi has just realized how lonely he feels when Anzu is close to him but he can't touch her. Meanwhile, Kaiba and Mokuba are flying back from America, getting closer to Japan. Of course, their target is Domino city.
