Next, he played [Monster Reborn - Shisha Sosei] to summon that god [Winged Dragon of Ra/The Sun of God Dragon - Ra no Yoku Shin Ryuu] from his graveyard. Since Winged Dragon of Ra is a god-type monster, its attack/defense points can't be affect by The Devils Dread-Root. However, Yami Yugi is getting surprised by that the appearance of Ra is going to disappear. He doesn't understand what exactly Tenma did. Tenma activated his reversed trap card [Selection of Ark - Hanobune No Senbetsu]. By its effect, the new summon of the monster with the same type of the monster existing on the field becomes invalid. In other words, Yami Yugi can't summon a monster with the same type with The Devils Dread-Root. The Devils Dread-Root is a god type monster, so is Ra. As a result, the summon of Ra becomes invalid, and Ra is disappeared. Yami Yugi has realized correctly that only opponents that can oppose The Devils Dread-Root are the three Egyptian gods.
