Summary

An old lady is having some tea in a broad hall. She thinks that her target (Yugi) has finally come. Meanwhile, little Yugi is trying to open a gate to the next stage by his card but it doesn't work. That means there must be a new card professor holding a new key card, yet Yugi sees nobody but the old lady having some tea. Thus, he decides to go in and asks her. Because she looks very normal, Yugi wonders whether she is a member of Kaiba Corporation. Yugi greets her and she greets him back politely. Then Yugi starts asking about a duelist who holds a duel disk as he is in his left arm; Yugi shows his duel disk to the old lady. The old lady says sorry to Yugi that she hasn't seen nobody. Anyway, she asks whether Yugi is looking for a duelist. At this point, Yugi is wondering whether the old lady knows about game card. The old lady tells Yugi not to underestimate her by age. Her grandchildren really like M&W (Magic & Wizard - the old name of Duel Monster card game). Yugi enjoys the old lady's story about her grandchildren; howerver, he is getting shocked when the old lady finally reveals her appearance as a card professor. A slot of her wheelchair is open and a duel disk comes out. The old lady introduces herself Mrs. Maico Katou. Little Yugi is getting amazed and hardly believes that she is a card professor. Then the millennium puzzle glows and Yami Yugi comes out. He hopes that this should be an interesting battle. After that, the duel between Yami Yugi and Maico begins.

First turn comes to Yami Yugi. Drawing a card, he summons Big Shield Guardner (4/100/2600) in a defense mode and ends his turn. Come to Maico's turn. She draws a card and summons Lepracan (Repurekan - 2/400/200) in an attack mode. At the same time, Yami Yugi is amazed by the weak and small monster only with 400 attack points. After that, Maico plays an equipment magic card, Poison Bogan, with Lepracan. By its effect, it can destroy an opponent's monster when that monster can succeed dealing damage. Yami Yugi is getting amazed again by the equipment magic card with ability to destroy a monster. Then, Maico declares the attack of Lepracan equipped with Poison Bogan against Big Shield Guardner at once. An arrow from Lepracan is launched toward Big Shield Guardner and some poison is released into its body until it is destroyed. Maico claims that it doesn't matter how much defense points the monster has because it is still powerless in front of this arrow. Setting a reversed card, Maico ends her turn. Yami Yugi accepts Maico as a genuine duelist and Maico is glad to hear it from the duel king. In fact, she plans to buy things for her grandchildren by rewards that she will get if she can beat Yugi. Anyway, Yami Yugi insists confidently that this game is still on his side.

Move comes to Yami Yugi. Drawing a card, he sets up two reversed cards and summons Jack's Knight (4/1800/1200) in an attack mode. He lets it attack Lepracan immediately. Suddenly, Maico opens her reversed field magic card Deep Forest (Fukaki Mori). By its effect, the field becomes the forest that can hide a forest-family monster with 4 stars or less. As a result, Lepracan hides itself in the forest, so Jack's Knight can't find and attack it. Maico adds that this field magic card is suitable to hide a small fairy. At this moment, Yami Yugi can see how dreadful this combo is; Deep Forest can remove a monster with 4 stars or less while Poison Bogan can destroy a monster. Yami Yugi can do nothing else, ending his turn.

Return to Maico's turn. Setting a reversed card, Maico lets Lepracan attack Jack's Knight at once. Therefore, Jack's Knight is destroyed by the effect of Poison Bogan again. Meanwhile, Maico says that Yami Yugi should be in a tough time now because he hasn't any monster left on his field. However, Yami Yugi hasn't been worried at all. His reversed trap card Illusion of Circle (Gensou No Jyubaku) is finally activated. By its effect, Yami Yugi has to s elect a monster on Maico's field. Any effect of the selected monster is invalid. Also, he can decrease the attack points of the selected monster by 500 points. As a result, Illusion of Circle captures Lepracan and decreases its attack points to 0 (400-500). Then Maico's turn is ended.

Come to Yami Yugi's turn. Drawing a card, he summons Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast (Genjyuuou Gazelle 4/1500/1200) in an attack mode. Then Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast destroys Lepracan, so Maico's LP goes down to 2500 (4000+0-1500). Nevertheless, Yami Yugi is wondering why Maico can still smile. Maico asks whether Yami Yugi hasn't heard the lonely and sad voice of a fairy from the forest. Getting amazed, Yami Yugi has just noticed something in the forest moving. Then, a giant beast , Forest Guardian Green Baboon (Mori No Bannin Green Baboon - 7/2600/1800), appears behind Maico. By its effect, if a member of the forest is destroyed, the player can pay 1000 LP to summon specially this monster. In other words, because Lepracan was destroyed, Maico could pay 1000 LP to summon Forest Guardian Green Baboon successfully. Thus, her LP goes down to 1500 (2500-1000). Here is the end of Yami Yugi's turn.

In Maico's turn, after drawing a card, Maico understands that Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast, a forest-family monster, can also obtain the effect of Deep Forest. That means her Forest Guardian Green Baboon can't attack it because it can hide itself in the forest. Therefore, she plays an equipment magic card, Chameleon Colored, with Forest Guardian Green Baboon. According to its effect, when there is a field card faced up on the field, a monster can be blended into surroundings. Then the blended monster can attack either an opponent's monster or a player. Consequently, Forest Guardian Green Baboon is blended into the forest. While Yami Yugi is getting amazed by its disappearance, Forest Guardian Green Baboon reappears behind him and attacks him directly. Thus, Yami Yugi's LP goes down to 1400 (4000-2600). This is the end of Maico's turn.

Come to Yami Yugi's turn. He draws and gets a key card against Deep Forest. Sacrificing Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast, Yami Yugi summons Gilfar Demon (6/2200/2500) in an attack mode. After that, he plays a magic card, Hell Fire Flame (Jigoku No Rekkaen). This card can be activated only if there is a demon-type monster on the field. Also, any field card is destroyed and 1000 damage points deal to all of players and monsters but demon-type monsters. Maico realizes that Yami Yugi is going to destroy her field magic card, so she opens her reversed magic card, De-Spell (Mahou Kaijyo), to deactivate the effect of Hell Fire Flame. Suddenly, Yami Yugi activates another magic card, De-Spell (Mahou Kaijyo), to deactivate the effect of Maico's De-Spell. That means Yami Yugi has expected before what the reversed card Maico faced down. As a result, the effect of Hell Fire Flame is valid. The field magic, Deep Forest, is finally destroyed; therefore, all monsters appear obviously on the field. Moreover, 1000 damage points deal to all players and demon-type monsters. As a result, Yugi's LP decreases to 400 (1400-1000), Maico's LP goes down to 500 (1500-1000), and Forest Guardian Green Baboo's attack points go down to 1600 (2600-1000). Only Gilfar Demon, a demon-type monster, remains full attack points. In Yami Yugi's battle phase, he declares the attack of Gilfar Demon against Forest Guardian Green Baboon strongly. Thus, Maico's LP goes down to 0 (500+1600-2200).

Anyway, both Yami Yugi and Maico really enjoyed this duel. Then Maico gives a key card to Yami Yugi, wondering what is going on next to him. She turns her face to an upper floor where a guy is sitting. Undoubtly, Yami Yugi realizes that the guy is exactly Tenma Yakou, looking at him seriously.
