Summary
A mysterious guy appears from shadow, coming closer
to Yugi. He knows that Yugi usually duels while his friends are
always by his side. Also, he has heard that Yugi obtains power of
friendship during the battle. Of course, card professors don't believe
in that kind of power, rejecting and considering it a big mistake.
Turning his face up, Yugi can guess that this mysterious guy took
away Jyonouchi and Honda. Then the mysterious guy introduces himself
"Kirk Dixon". He talks about
a simple guy like Jyonouchi who was caught into his easy trap. Also,
Dixon sees Yugi be in a hurry, so he tells him to start the duel
at once. He also provokes Yugi and asks him whether Yugi isn't satisfied
by the duel that there is no friend around. At this moment, Yugi
is getting angry. He asks Dixon seriously where Jyonouchi and Honda
are. Dixon tells him that there a lot of security system set up
in this building. He doesn't know either where the destination of
each trap hole goes. Anyway, he imagines that Yugi's friends should
be at a proper place for them.
First turn comes to Yugi. Setting up two reversed
cards, he summons Alpha the Magnet Warrior (4/1400/1700)
in a defense mode and ends his turn. Next, Dixon summons Machine
Soldiers (4/1600/1500) in an attack mode and sets up a
reversed card. After that, he plays a magic card Bond of
Brotherhood (Douhou No Kizuna) that allows him to pay 1000
LP and then to summon specially two monsters with the same type
family from his deck onto the field. However, the summoned monsters
can't perform the attack in this turn. As a result, Dixon's LP goes
down to 3000 (4000-1000) while he summons two machine-type monsters
- Machine Sniper (4/1800/800) and Machine
Defenser (4/1200/1800) - onto the field. Yugi is very surprised
by the three monsters summoned onto the field by only one turn.
Turn comes to Yugi again. Setting up another reversed
card, he sacrifices Alpha the Manget Warrior to summon Black
Magician Girl (6/2000/1700). He declares the attack of
Black Magician Girl against Machine Defenser at once. Nevertheless,
this attack is what Dixon has already expected. Dixon suddenly opens
his trap card Enemy Warning Alarm (Teki Shuukei Hou).
This can be activated when the opponent attacks. It allows Dixon
to summon a monster specially from his hand. When the battle phase
finishes, the summoned monster must be returned to the Dixon's hand.
As a result, Dixon summons Power-do Caterpillar (7/2700/2000)
onto the field. He later lets it counterattack Black Magician by
Buster Canon at once. At this moment, Yugi opens one of his reversed
card Spellbinding Circle (Roku Housei Jyuhaku).
By its effect, the attack of Power-do Caterpillar is invalid and
its attack points are also decreased by 700 points. Therefore, Power-do
Caterpillar can't continue its attack and is returned to Dixon's
hand.
Note: Spellbinding Circle
(Roku Housei Jyuhaku) is the card that Yugi plays early
in the story. The effect in manga is different from Konami
card. There is no 700 point decreasing effect on the real
card.
Konami's Effect:
Selet a monster. As long as this card remains
face-up on the field, the selected monster can not attack
or change its battle position. When the selected monster
is destroyed, this card is destroyed.

Come to Dixon's turn. He summons Battle Commander
Quinton (Tokusenkan Quinton 4/1000/600) in an attack mode.
By its effect, it can make a command to unite all of machine-type
monsters on the field into one. If the player would like the united
monster to attack, he has to pay 1000 LP. As a result, Machine Sniper,
Machine Defenser and and Machine Soldier are combined together and
become Machine of Force with 4600 attack points
(1800+1200+1600) and 4100 defense points (800+1800+1500). Paying
1000 LP, Dixon declares the attack of Machine of Force (4600) against
Black Magician Girl at once. At this moment, Dixon's LP goes down
to 2000 (3000-2000). However, the attack is stopped by a trap card
of Yugi. It is Illusion of Circle (Gensou No Jubaku)
that makes any effect of a cursed monster invalid. Also, it decreases
the cursed monster's attack points by 500 points. As a result, Yugi
selects to play this trap with Battle Commander Quinton. In other
words, Battle Commander Quinton's command is deactivated, and the
three machine monsters are recombined. Battle Commander Quinton's
attack points go down to 500 (1000-500) by the effect of Illusion
of Circle. Furthermore, Yugi opens another reversed trap card,
Diffusion Wave-Motion (KakusanSuruHadou). Paying 1000 LP, Yugi
can let Black Magician attack each of the Dixon's monsters - Machine
Soldier (1600), Machine Sniper (1800), Machine Defenser (1200) and
Battle Commander Quinton (500). That means the total battle damage
of 2900 ([2000-1600]+[2000-1800]+[2000-1200]+[2000-500]) deals to
Dixon (2000). Therefore, Dixon is finally defeated.
Note: The effect of Diffusion Wave-Motion in comic is different from OCG. In OCG's effect, Diffusion Wave-Motion can be played only with level 7 or higher spellcaster monster. Black Magician Girl has only level 6, so it shouldn't be played with Diffusion Wave-Motion. However, in comic's effect, it just says that "Spread the attack power of Magician to all monsters on the opponent side of the field", and it doesn't say anything about the qualified level of the spellcaster monster.
Dixon
is getting surprised and shocked by that he lost Yugi. While he
is stepping back, he is caught by his own trap. Then he falls into
a trash bin. Yugi looks down on the floor and gets worried about
Jyonouchi and Honda. Then, little Yugi appears from the millennium
puzzle. He tells Yami Yugi that Jyonouchi and Honda must be fine.
Although he doesn't know where they are, they know where the target
is. Yami Yugi previously said before that no matter what kind of
enemy Jyonouchi was going to face, Jyonouchi could break through.
Hearing what little Yugi said, Yami Yugi can release his worries.
He also believes that Jyonouchi and Honda can pass through any kind
of situation. Then he moves to pick up a key card of Dixon on the
floor and aims for the next target. Finally, he must reach Tenma.
On the other side, while Jyonouchi and Honda are going up from a
trash room downstair, he sees Dixon falling down from a trash pipe.
