Introduction

Yu Gi Oh R - The Origin

When the final episode, 343, was released on March 8, 2004, Weekly Jump stopped publishing Yu Gi Oh since then. However, there was a new comic series of Yu Gi Oh called Yu Gi Oh R produced by original team staffs, and the story including monster/character design were still created by the original author, Kazuki Takahashi.

Yu Gi Oh R has turned to be published in a montly magazine called V-Jump, which mostly presents game and card articles of various comics such as Yu Gi Oh, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach, and Prince of Tennis. It was also first published in V-Jump vol 6 released on April 21, 2004. This series actually has no connection with the prior series. Don't mix it up with the original story although there is some detail linking to the previous details. You will also see some new cards, new duels, and many new story lines in this series. Several cards played in Yu Gi Oh R, which you can't find in any other series, have already been released as Japanese OCG.

Original Story: Kazuki Takahashi
Original Manga: Itou Akira
Production: Brain Navi
First Release: 04/21/2004, V-Jump Vol.6/2004 up to present

He takes control main Duel Server Link of Kaiba Corporation and captures Anzu to use her as a sacrifice to summon Pegasus. Yugi, Honda, and Jyonouchi have to go to Kaiba Corporation to save Anzu. They are facing 13 card professors Tenma hires to hinder their way. [Tenma Gekkou] is Yakou's older twin brother who wants to stop Yakou's evil plan. He joins with Yugi's group to fight his brother.

The Anti Devil Gods

In order to oppose power of the three legendary gods that Mutou Yugi has, Pegasus J. Crawford designs three anti devil gods: [The Devils Avatar], [The Devils Dread-Root], and [The Devils-Eraser]. These devil gods are in Yakou's possession. They all have tremendous power to offset the power of Yugi's gods. These three cards have already been released in Japanese OCG.
