The effects of this card in manga and OCG are mostly
different. In manga, this card is designed to be mainly
used to defeat the legendary gods of Yugi. Thus, it
is set up to always have higher attack points than the
strongest monster on both fields by 1 point. You can
see the effective play of this card in the duel between
Kaiba and Yakou in episode
30.
The concept of manga effect explains why The Devils
Avatar has a sphere shape and why it doesn't look like
a monster. The form of The Devils Avatar has to change
into the form of the strongest monster on the field
with higher attack points by 1. OCG effect may not be
able to show this picture at all.
This card is the main plot of the whole Yu Gi Oh R
series. R refers to Rebirth of Avatar. That means The
Devils Avatar is used to revive Pegasus J. Crawford,
and it transforms into his body. |

This devil god looks similar to Obelisk the Tormentor.
There is no difference between manga and OCG effects.
Like The Devils Avatar, this
card is designed to be mainly used to defeat the legendary
gods of Yugi. Therefore, once it is in play, all other
monsters' attack and defense points must be halved to
make sure that The Devils Dread-Root is the strongest
monster on the field.
Similarly, you can see the effective play of this card
in the duel between Yugi and Yakou in episode
11 and the duel between Kaiba and Yakou in
episode
30. |

This devil god looks similar to Winged Dragon
of Ra plue Sky Dragon of Osiris. There is not much difference
between manga and OCG effects besides that OCG has additional
effects.
OCG effect seems to present the character of this card
that when this card is destroyed, all cards on the field
must be erased with it. Like other Devils gods, if this
card is designed to be mainly
used to defeat the legendary gods of Yugi, it can totally
erase the other gods along with it to the cemetery.
Yakou gives this card to Bandit Keith to help him activate
the power of the last devil god. The person who first
faces it is Jyonouchi. The game is still on duel. Keith
has just been able to summon this god onto the field
in episode
