After the game between DD and Dr. Collector, the duel area exploded and the TV broadcast was cut. Judai is knocking the TV's screen to make the broadcast back, but nothing happens. He wonders what's going on and why the channel doesn't return. Kenzan then tells Judai to get out of his way. He is going to make it work by his one kick while raising his right leg up and preparing for the strike. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon have to step in to stop him. They say that the result of their knocking or kicking is to break the TV. This doesn't help to make it back. Although people said that, Judai still gets worried by having no idea what to do. Meanwhile, the pictures have been back on screen. There appears the duel arena or Kaiba dorm being burnt. The reporters are talking about the current situation. Nobody knew what's going on. In the mid of the world title match, the stage was burnt in flame and caused some disaster. The reporters further say that they haven't known the condition of the two duelists, Dr. Collector and DD, yet. People are getting worried about them now. Judai still doesn't understand what's going on.

On the other side, DD has approached to see Edo alone on his private cruise. The cruise is on the sea far away from Duel Academia island. Inside the cruise in the main hall, Edo is facing DD who doesn't look normal and friendly. Edo asks him for the reason of doing this. DD wonders why Edo asked such a foolish question. If Edo is a duelist, DD expects him to understand the common feeling of any duelist. Everybody would like to win. DD told the story that he once would like to be in the spotlight of the pro duelist world. However, it wasn't easy. He faced such difficulty until a gift dropped from the heaven. The person who carried this gift to him was actually Edo. Edo is getting amazed by when this happened to his life.

Edo D-D...Why did you...
DD Why? What a foolish question, Edo...It'd be most likely that a duelist would do it to win.
Edo To win?
DD I wanted to be a great man...So, I set my sights on Pro Duelists with the most glory and honor in the world. But things in the Professional World didn't work out that well...I had come to a standstill. That's when a gift drifted down from the heavens. And it was you who carried it to me, Edo...

At that time, a paper flew from the sky and dropped onto the ground where DD was standing. DD picked it up and saw that it's a picture of duel monster. Meanwhile, little Edo was running towards him. He said sorry to DD and asked for his picture back. He also claimed that it's such an important thing to him. DD became interested and asked what this picture was. Little Edo explained that it's the drawing that his father created. DD looked a bit amazed before returning it back to Edo. Little Edo thanked him and turned to run back into a building on the opposite side. DD looked through the top of the building and smirked. He thought that this should be such a good chance for him. DD later found out that Edo's father was a designer of Industrial Illusions, Inc., who created a top secret card. He normally kept his eyes on his father for a while, planning to get the card no matter what happened.

One day, DD sneaked into the room of Edo's father and looked for the secret card. Once he got it, Edo's father could catch him. Edo's father asked what DD's planning to do. DD claimed that he would get this card to take the world. It's useless how much Edo's father tried to stop him. Then, the spirit of the card talked to DD. It had waited for a wicked-heart guy like him for a long time. A monster hand suddenly emerged from the card and held DD's head. Edo's father tried to help him, but he was pushed back. The spirit of the wicked card finally tooked control DD, and there appeared white aura around his body.

DD This is from...Duel Monsters...
Edo Sorry! Could I have that back? It's really important.
DD What is this?
Edo My dad drew it.
DD Your dad did?
Edo Thank you!
DD (It was then that I had a chance. I had found out that your father was a designer at Industrial Illusions Inc. and was making a top secret card. So I made up my mind, I would get that card at any cost.)
Edo's Father Who's there? What are you doing?
DD So this is the new card you've made? Why, with this I could...
Edo's Father Drop it! That isn't any ordinary card!
DD I know that. This is most powerful card in Duel Monsters.
Edo's Father No, you're wrong, that's not what I meant. Get your hands off that!
DD No way. I'm going to take the world with this card.
Bloo-D Heh heh heh...I see...I'll give you that power. I've been waiting...for a heart as wicked as yours to come...
Edo's Father Hey! Are you all right?

After DD got this card, it's like a joke that the victory has come to him unexpectedly. He has kept on winning one after another in the pro league, become a champion, and could protect this throne for ten years. "That's a lie. If so, why have you become my guardian?", Edo asks curiously. DD explains that after he made that event happen to steal the card, he might be the target of public via many societies in the world. Therefore, he would like to know how far the investigation of the police had been done. Once when DD was with little Edo in a park, he asked whether Edo had got any clue about the investigation. Little Edo replied that the police hadn't known anything yet. DD felt relieved. He put his hand on little Edo's shoulder and comforted him that the criminal should be arrested soon.

Edo hardly believes this truth that DD complied to become his guardian merely to track the police information from him. He thinks that DD has done everything for his own benefits. DD corrects Edo that he just wanna know whether he's the chosen one. For that purpose and in order to obtain such a strength, he doesn't care of committing any crime. He actually killed Edo's father to become a hero and proved whether he was actually the chosen one. Edo asks what exactly DD understands. Anyway, DD doesn't think that an ordinary man like Edo can understand the road of hero. Meanwhile, a table with two duel disks on the top is appearing from the floor. DD takes one of them and puts into his arm. Edo gets more angry. He hardly believes to see the true evil personality of DD. Thus, Edo declares loudly to accept this duel. "Why don't we start now, the duel of death!", DD says before throwing another duel disk to Edo. Edo receives the duel disk and sets it up onto his arm. When both of them are ready, they begin the duel.

First turn comes to Edo. Drawing a card, he plays the magic card [Destiny Draw - Magic: Send a card that includes D-Hero in its card name in your hand into the Cemetery in order to draw 2 cards from your deck]. By its effect, he sends a D-Hero monster, D-Hero Diabolic Guy, on his hand into the cemetery to draw two new cards. He next plays another magic card [D-Spirit - Magic: When there is not a monster that includes D-Hero in its card name on your side of the field, you can Special Summon 1 monster that includes D-Hero in its card name from your hand that is level 4 or less]. Its effect allows him to special summon [D-Hero Diamond Guy - 4/1400/1600: While this card is face-up on your side of the field, once per turn you can look at the top card of your Deck. If the card is a Normal Spell Card, send it to the Graveyard and you can activate the Normal Spell Card during the Main Phase of your next turn. If the card is not a Normal Spell Card, place it on the bottom of your Deck] onto the field in attack position.

Edo once activates the special effect of D-Hero Diamond Guy. As long as this card is on the field, he can look at the top card on his deck. If it's a special card, he can send it to the graveyard to activate its effect in his next main phase. Edo draws and gets Pot of Greed. Thus, he sends it to the graveyard and waits to activate it soon. Later, Edo activates his third magic card [Over Destiny - Magic: Select 1 monster in your Graveyard that includes D-Hero in its card name. Special Summon 1 monster with D-Hero in its name from the Deck that has a level lower than half the selected monster's]. According to its effect, Edo has to first select a D-Hero monster in his cemetery. He has only one D-Hero Diabolic Guy in the graveyard sent there as a result of Destiny Draw's effect. After that, Edo can special summon a D-Hero monster from his deck with less level than a half of the selected monster. D-Hero Diabolic Guy has level 6, so Edo is allowed to special summon a monster with less than level 3 (6/3). He chooses to special summon [D-Hero Diehard Guy - 3/800/800: During your next turn's Standby Phase, Special Summon 1 D-HERO destroyed as a result of battle in the same turn from your Graveyard] from his deck onto the field in attack position.

Meanwhile, Edo activates the special effect of [D-Hero Diabolic Guy - 6/800/800: By removing this card in your Graveyard from the paly, you can Special Summon 1 D-Hero Diabolic Guy from your Deck to your side of the field] in the cemetery. Removing it from the game, Edo can special summon another D-Hero Diabolic Guy from his deck onto the field in attack position. Sacrificing D-Hero Diabolic Guy, D-Hero Diehard Guy, and D-Hero Diamond Guy on the field, he summons [D-Hero Dogmaguy - 8/3400/2400: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 3 monsters, including at least 1 D-Hero monster. If this card is Special Summoned, halve you opponent's Life Points during your opponent's next Standby Phase] onto the field in attack mode.

Edo sets up a face-down card and activates the field magic [Clock Tower Prison - Yuugoku No Tokeitou - Field Magic: Put 1 Clock Counter on this card during each of your opponent's Standby Phases. While there are 4 or more Clock Counters on this card, the controller of this card does not receive any Battle Damage. When this card with 4 or more Clock Counters is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 D-Hero Dread Guy from your hand or Deck]. The theme changes into clock tower buildings. Edo ends his first turn at this point.

DD looks very impressed by the fact that Edo could play all cards in his hand to summon such a great monster in his first turn. Edo thinks that he is the one who knows the real power of DD as the world champ. Anyway, he bets his life into this duel to beat him. DD's first turn has come. Once DD draws a card, Edo activates the special effect of D-Hero Dogmaguy. It can halve DD's LP in his standby phase, so his LP goes down to 2000 (4000/2). Also, Edo activates the effect of Clock Tower Prison to turn its clock hand to 3 o'clock. DD feels impressed by that Edo could halve his LP, so he would like to give some gift from his hand for him.

DD then plays the magic card [Blood Note - Magic: Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. For each interval of 4 in the selected monster's level, Special Summon a Blood Token (Warrior-Type/Dark Attribute/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) on your side of the field]. By its effect, the number of Blood Token equal to each 4 interval of a monster on Edo's field can be special summoned onto the field. In other words, for every 4 level of Edo's monster, one Blood Token can be summoned. D-Hero Dogmaguy has level 8, so two (8/4) Blood Tokens are special summoned onto DD's field in attack position. They all have 0 attack points.

Next, DD plays another magic card [Devil's Sanctuary - Magic: Special Summon 1 Metal Devil Token Dark/Fiend/1/0/0 to the Field. This token can't attack. Direct Damage done to the [Metal Devil Token]'s controller due to it being in Battle is done to the opponent instead. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 1000 Life Points. If you do not pay, destroy the Metal Devil Token] to special a Metal Devil Token onto the field in attack mode. Edo looks pretty surprised by seeing the three tributes. This means DD is going to play similar thing as Edo previously did: to summon an ultimate monster required 3 tributes in the first turn.

DD tells Edo to take a look carefully at the card that Edo has searhed for years. He then sacrifices two Blood Tokens and one Metal Devil Token to summon the ultimate D-Hero [D-Hero Bloo-D - 8/1900/600: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summmoned by tributing 3 monsters as on your side of the field. Designate 1 of your opponent's monsters and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card.) Add half the amount of the equipped monster's ATK to this card's ATK. In addition, this card gains the equipped monster's effect. When D-Force is face-up on the top of your Deck, the effects of all Effect Monsters on your opponent's side of the field are destroyed and the activation and negate and destroy the effects of Spell or Trap Cards that target a card on your side of the field] onto the field in attack position.

Blood drips onto the floot and bursts out with the body of D-Hero Bloo-D. Edo looks very shocked by the ultimate D-Hero that he has searched for a long time. DD explains that everything becomes powerless in front of this D-Hero Bloo-D. He will show that as activating its special effect. D-Hero Bloo-D then spreads out its wings and creates swirling storm. It seems to absorb the blood of D-Hero Dogmaguy until it's destroyed. D-Hero Dogmaguy then is sticked onto D-Hero Bloo-D's body as if it becomes a part of it. DD describes the effect of D-Hero Bloo-D that it can absorb a monster on the opponent's side to increase its attack points by a half of the absorbed monster's attack points. As a result, the total attack points of D-Hero Bloo-D goes up to 3600 (1900+3400/2). DD declares the direct attack of D-Hero Bloo-D against Edo immediately. Edo then screams out loud by such a strong hit.

episode 98 summarized by Janime/Horoko

At this moment, Judai and Kenzan are walking along the cliff at night. Kenzan takes a deep brathe and notes that they still don't know who won the game and what actually happened on TV. Judai also feels a bit disappointed since he had expected that this game should be fun. His sights catch up something until he stops walking. Kenzan asks what's wrong with him. Judai mentions that Edo's cruise has gone from the seaport. Therefore, both of them assume that Edo may be gone somewhere.

Under the moonlight in the ocean, Edo is during the duel against DD on his private cruise. After he receives such intensive direct hit, his LP reduces dramatically to 400 (4000-3600). He falls onto his knee as holding his body with pain. Edo doesn't understand what this impact and pain is, wondering whether this is actually the duel of death. DD sees Edo getting up, noting that he's surprised by that Edo still has some power left to stand. Edo yells to confirm that the one who will be defeated in this game is DD not him.

Still in DD's turn, he plays the magic card [D-Force - Magic: Place this card face-up at the top of your deck. When this card is face-up at the top of your deck, you cannot draw during your Draw Phase], placing it onto the top of his deck. Meanwhile, white aura appears around him and his monster. It flows up and forms into a while monster with two red eyes. Edo looks obviously amazed. DD explains that this is the power to make things over and swallow everything. It's also the entrance to the in exchange to the evil light. His sound then becomes the voice of the evil light spirit. There is no need to be afraid of death since everything will be ended soon. Edo doesn't understand at all what DD and the evil light spirit were talking about. Then, setting up a face-down card, DD ends his turn.

The turn is with Edo. Once he draws a card, DD declares the special effect of D-Hero Dogmaguy absorbed into D-Hero Bloo-D. It reduces Edo's LP by half, so his LP finally goes down to 200 (400/2). Edo says that he hasn't been finished off yet before activating Pot of Greed in the cemetery sent into the graveyard in the previous turn as a result of D-Hero Diamond Guy's effect to draw two new cards. He later summons [D-Hero Devil Guy - 3/600/800: Once per turn, if this card is in face-up Attack Position on your side of the field, you can remove from play 1 of your opponent's monsters. The player who used this effect cannot declard an attack this turn, and the removed monster will be returned to the opponent's side of the field in the same battle position during your second Standby Phase after activation] onto the field in defense position.

Due to the special effect of D-Hero Devil Guy, he can remove a monster on DD's field from play. However, when D-Hero Devil Guy is about to use this effect against D-Hero Bloo-D, this ability is nagated. DD explains that as long as D-Force is faced up on the top of his deck, any monster's effects of Edo are negated. Here is supposed to be the end of Edo's turn.

The turn comes back to DD. According to the effect of D-Force, when it's placed on the top of DD's deck, he is unable to draw. DD, however, plays another strategy that allows him to draw. Without drawing, he opens his face-down trap card [D-Boost - Trap: When a D-Force is face-up on the top of your Deck, draw 2 cards underneath D-Force]. By its effect, when D-Force is on the top of his deck, he can draw two new cards below it. While DD is drawing the two cards (or in his standby phase), Edo activates the effect of Clock Tower Prison to turn its clock hand to 6 o'clock. He thinks that just two times to go and the clock hand will reach 12 o'clock. It will become the chance for him.

DD sees Edo not to understand anything yet. No matter how much Edo trusts in the future-controlling power of D-Hero, his true personality already stopped a long time ago or since his father was dead. He hasn't changed at all after that day. Edo looks pretty surprised by hearing this. DD then plays a magic card [Drain Time - Magic: You can only activate this card when you have a D-Hero Bloo-D on your side of the field. Select either Draw Phase, Standby Phase, Main Phase, Battle Phase, or End Phase. Both players must skip the select Phase once. {At {your's/opponents?} Standby Phase, when this card is in your Cemetery, pay 1000 Life Points??}]. Once it's activated, the clock hand on Clock Tower Prison is freezed. DD explains the effect of Drain Time that he has to select one phase, and both sides have to skip that phase. He certainly selects Standby phase, claiming that Edo's time has been stopped by this (Clock Tower Prison's clock hand can turn only in standby phase of the opponent. When the standby phase is skipped as a result of Drain Time, the effect of Clock Tower Prison is invalid).

DD once declares the attack of D-Hero Bloo-D against D-Hero Devil Guy. At this moment, Edo opens his face-down trap card [D-Counter - Counter Trap: This card can only be activated when a monster with D-Hero in its name is attacked. Destroy the attacking monster]. This trap allows him to destroy the attack monster. Nevertheless, D-Counter is destroyed, and Edo gets very surprised. DD tells him that it's still useless. Beside monster's effects, trap or magic effects are also negated as a result of D-Hero Bloo-D's special ability. Thus, D-Counter can't protect D-Hero Devil Guy, and it's finally destroyed.

Edo is getting shocked by the fact that he can't use any monster's, trap, or magic effects against D-Hero Bloo-D. DD asks whether Edo feels impressed by such a perfect strength of this D card that his beloved father created. Although Edo gets very mad, he can't counter by anything. Setting a reversed card, DD ends his turn.

The turn moves to Edo. Drawing a card, he sets up two face-down cards and ends his turn quickly. DD sees that Edo no longer has any monster on his field, so the result should be determined already. It's now DD's turn. As a result of Drain Time, Edo's Clock Tower Prison is freezed, so the time on the clock can't move on. DD tells Edo to die and go to see his father. He then activates the direct attack of D-Hero Bloo-D against Edo. There appears big explosion and smoke. When the smoke is disappearing, Edo still stands firmly with his two face-up trap cards and [D-Hero Dread Guy - 8/?/? - When this monster is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned, destroy all monsters that do not include D-Hero in their card name on your side of the field in order to Special Summon 2 D-Hero monsters from your Graveyard. If this monster is in Attack Position during the summoned turn, a D-Hero would not be affected by an effect or Battle Damage. This monster's ATK and DEF is equal to the combined ATK of all that include

] in defense position. DD gets surprised pretty much.

At the same time when DD declared the direct attack, he also opened his reversed trap card [Dust Tornado ~ Sajin No Outatsumaki - Trap: Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. You can then Set 1 Spell or Trap Card from your hand]. He expected it to destroy Clock Tower Prison, but nothing happened. Edo explains that before that had happened, he opened his face-down trap card [Ethernal Dread - Trap: Place 2 Clock Counters on a face-up Clock Tower Prison]. This trap placed down two Clock counters on Clock Tower Prison. When DD was about to destroy Clock Tower Prison, Clock Tower Prison had already obtained additional two Clock tokens to make it turn forward to 12 o'clock (Two Clock tokens made the clock turn forward to 9 o'clock and finally 12 o'clock respectively). When the time was at 12 o'clock, D-Hero Dread Guy was special summoned from his deck onto the field to protect Edo. D-Hero Dread Guy has the special ability not to be affected by any battle damage.

Anyway, DD argues that D-Hero Bloo-D can't be affected by any monster's effect, so the special effect of D-Hero Dread Guy should have been negated. In that case, Edo explains that he activated another trap card [Pact of Greed ~ Gouyoku Kyoutei - Trap: {Both players draw 1 card from their respective decks.}]. This card forced both players to draw a card. Thus, DD had to draw a card, which is D-Force that has been placed onto the top of his deck. Without D-Force on the top of his deck, D-Hero Bloo-D's special ability to negate all kinds of effects becomes invalid.

Edo suddenly activates the special effect of D-Hero Dread Guy to special summon D-Hero Diamond Guy and D-Hero Diehard Guy from his graveyard onto the field in defense position. Anyway, DD thinks that Edo's defeat still doesn't change. It's still in his turn, so he again activates D-Force and places it onto the top of his deck to activate the special effect of D-Hero Bloo-D. Furthermore, he pays 800 LP to play the magic card [Unfair Judge - Magic: If a monster is not destroyed during this turn's Battle Phase, pay 800 Life Points in order to target 1 monster on your side of the field and activate this card. If the total sum of the ATK of all monsters in Attack Position on their side of the field and the DEF of all monsters in Defense Position on their side of the field is greater than the ATK of the targetted monster, the targetted monster can attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field once each]. His LP then decreases to 1200 (2000-800).

By its effect, when no monster was destroyed in the battle phase, this card can be activated to allow a monster, D-Hero Bloo-D, to resume its attack against all monsters on Edo's field. Thus, Edo's field is totally wiped out. Here seems to be the end of DD's turn. Edo faces down and feels very worried by that he may not be able to win. He apologizes his dad that he may not make it. Then, he hears the voice of his father that tells him to believe in the power of D-Hero. Edo becomes a bit surprised before looking at his deck. The game hasn't ended yet, so he doesn't know the result. Thus, at any time, he thinks that he should believe in his D-Hero.

The turn comes to Edo. He draws a card and gets [D-Hero Dark-Angel - 1/0/0: Discard this card from your hand. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by this card's effect, place this card on the top of your opponent's Deck. At your own turn's End Phase, if their is an open Monster Card Zone on your opponent's side of the field, shift control of this card to your opponent], which was the card that his father let his officer give to Edo when he was young. Little Edo saw at that time that it had 0 attack and defense point, so he didn't understand what kind of meaning it had. Edo has just realized that this card is the key one to oppose the ultimate D.

Edo then discards this card into the cemetery to activate its special ability. He can revive it onto the top of DD's deck not on the field. As a result, D-Hero Dark-Angel is placed above D-Force that was on the top of DD's deck. When D-Force isn't on the top, the special abilities of D-Hero Bloo-D can't be activated. Edo claims that the power of D-Force should be sealed. He further plays a new field magic card [Dark City - Field Magic: When a monster that includes D-Hero in its card name attacks, if its ATK is lower than the ATK of the attack target, increase the ATK of the attacking monster by 1000 points during damage calculation only].

After that, Edo summons [D-Hero Divine Guy - 4/1600/1400: This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card attacks, you can destroy 1 Equip Card on your opponent's side of the field. When you destroy an Equip Card with this card's effect, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points] onto the field in attack mode. With the effect of Dark City, D-Hero Divine Guy can boost up its attack points by 1000 when it attacks a monster with higher attack points. Since D-Hero Bloo-D has much higher strength points than D-Hero Divine Guy's, so the attack points of D-Hero Divine Guy become 2600 (1600+1000).

Edo declares the attack of D-Hero Divine Guy against D-Hero Bloo-D quickly. Simultanously, he activates the special effect of D-Hero Divine Guy. It can destroy an equipment card on DD's field, and deal 500 direct damages to the opponent. Edo certainly destroys D-Hero Dogmaguy equipped with D-Hero Bloo-D. Without D-Hero Dogmaguy, the attack points of D-Hero Bloo-D reduce to its original points of 1900 (3600-3400/2). Also, DD's LP goes down to 700 (1200-500).

Edo seems to gain pretty much advantage, so he tells DD to prepare himself for the revenge of his father. DD smirks and asks whether Edo doesn't hear any groan. It's the fact that he has never D-Hero Bloo-D in any official duel; however, he has used it behind the scenes to capture people's souls. Meanwhile, several human faces appear from D-Hero Bloo-D's wings. There also appears Dr. Collector's face. DD again asks whether Edo doesn't want to see his dad. Then, Edo's father manifests from a wing of D-Hero Bloo-D. He hasn't seen Edo for long, now seeing Edo so big.

DD explains that the soul of Edo's father has been sealed in D-Hero Bloo-D, asking whether Edo still wants to finish off his father by himself. Edo gets very mad by this unfair game. Edo's father tells him that he did some mistake to create such terrible card. While he was making it, he heard the voice of the light of ruin. It's similar to Pegasus who created god cards. It's his guilty. The light of ruin inside this card is just a husk while the true light of ruin exists in Saiou Takuma. If the power of this light is free, the world will be doomed. Thus, Edo's father convinces Edo to beat D-Hero Bloo-D and go after Saiou. Edo absolutely hesitates to do so. Edo's father tells him again to strike himself, and Edo's time will start running off. With these last words, he disppears into D-Hero Bloo-D. Edo screams while remebering good memories he had with his father during childhood period. At the same time, D-Hero Divine Guy is attacking D-Hero Bloo-D.

DD hardly believes that Edo would hit. By this strike, DD's LP reduces to 0 (700+1900-2600) exactly, and he is finally defeated. While D-Hero Bloo-D is about to explode, the picture of Edo's father appears and says good bye to him. Edo merely calls his dad before the game ends, and DD falls onto the ground. His cards all fly out from his deck. One of them is D-Hero Bloo-D. There is evil white aura emerging from the card. It explodes and tries to burn out everything. Edo is blown away, and the cruise is totally in fire. Edo picks D-Hero Bloo-D up and thinks of his father. Meanwhile, DD gets up and says that he is a hero and the chosen one. Edo just sees DD burnt in flame.

Outside the cruise, Edo goes up to the deck and tries to find some way out. At the same time, a helicopter is flying towards him. There appears Principal Samejima. He calls Edo to move up there, dropping the rope ladder for him. Edo grabs it while the helicopter is flying away. He looks at the cruise exploding and gives his words to his father that he has already made revenge for him.

Edo Prepare yourself, DD!! This is revenge for my dad!!
DD Revenge for your dad? Heh heh heh heh...Then you can't hear the groans? It's true that I've never used Bloo-D in an Official Duel. But, in the duels behind the scenes, this card has absorbed countless numbers of duelists' souls into its being. Do you want to see him? The father you adore so much.
Edo's Father Edo...Edo...you've gotten so big...
Edo Dad?
DD Your father's soul is also within Blue-D...So do you want to finish him off now?
Edo You bastard!
Edo's Father Edo...I created this horrible card
Edo Dad...
Edo's Father When I started to make Bloo-D, I heard it! The voice of the light of ruin!
Edo The light of ruin?
Edo's Father I couldn't beat it...It was a allure similar to when Pegasus created the God Cards...but that was a mistake on my judgment. Listen well, Edo! The light of ruin that dwells in this card is merely a husk.
Edo A husk?
Edo's Father The light of ruin's true power posesses another man, and his name is Takuma Saiou! If the light of ruin sets that true power free, the world is doomed! Now go on, Edo! Beat Bloo-D and go to Saiou!!
