episode 92 summarized by Janime/Horoko

One day at Osiris Red, Judai, Sho, Kenzan, and Manjyome are having breakfast together in the dining room. Judai is getting very surprised by the news from Sho that Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are going to get fired. Manjyome doesn't look surprised. He thinks that both of them should actually be in trouble after messing up the school. Kenzan thinks that perhaps both Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are now kissing Principal Samejima's butt to please him.

Judai Fired!? Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are getting fired?
Sho Rumor has it that the Principal isn't taking the blame for them, among other things.
Manjyome Oh well...I expected them to get in trouble for messing up the academy.
Sho That coming from the number-one troublemaker....
Kenzan I heard those two are doing whatever it takes to kiss the Principal's butt right around now-don!

At the principal room, Principal Samejima is sitting at his desk, contemplating what Lynd , Prince Orgene's private secretary, said to him before. At that time, Lynd entered to this office and reported to Principal Samejima that Saiou had already obtained what he desired from Prince Orgene (episode 84). It's deskcontrol of satellite laser with ability to destroy the world. Principal Samejima got very surprised by this news.

Principal Samejima currently looks worried by many situations he doesn't know. Meanwhile, Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon enter his office. They are holding several GX medals in their hands, arguing against each other. The are trying to compete who has got more medals. Principal Samejima gets annoyed and tries to calm down. He tells them politely to stop arguing since he's expecting a visitor to come soon. However, Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon don't listen, keeping on arguing like kids. Principal Samejima is at his limit. He yells loudly to let them get out off his room because he has no time for their stupid topic. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are very shocked by seeing Principal Samejima's anger.

Napoleon Check thy medals for thy self! I did fairly well against those Pros.
Chronos Really now? I have one more medal than you do, Vice Principal Napoleon, no?
Napoleon Be that not true at all!
Chronos Then count them up for yourself, no? You'll see I'm correct, no?
Samejima I'm sorry, gentlemen...can we do this another time?
Napoleon It is I who has defeated more duelists!
Chronos Who cares about the weaklings you challenged, no?
Samejima From now on, I'm expecting a visitor....
Chronos A weak dog does nothing but bark "thou thou", no?
Napoleon Oh, really, eh?
Chronos Yeah, really, no?
Samejima You two! Shut up with the "thou's" and "no's"!! I don't have time for such nonsense right now! Get out of my office!!
Chronos, Napoleon Mamma mia~~!!

At the seaport, Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are sitting and getting very depressed. That Principal Samejima said "get out" can be referred to that both of them are getting fired. This may be the last time when they can see Duel Acedemia. Then, Judai, Kenzan, Sho, and Manjyome walk in. Judai asks what's wrong with them. Professor Chronos doesn't give him answer but tells him to leave them alone. Seeing them look so down, Judai asks whether they are actually going to get fired as the rumor states. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon almost fall into the ocean by such a direct and straight word. They ask in a threatening way how people know about this. Judai and Sho get scared as holding each other. Sho replies that this rumor has been floating around. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon look pretty shocked until they turn into stone. Then then begin to cry heavily, wondering how they should do with their personal lives.

Chronos He told us to "get out", no?...
Napoleon He has finally decided to fire us.
Chronos This will be the last time we ever see the Duel Academia, no?
Judai Huh? Professor Chronos! Vice Principal Napoleon! What's wrong?
Chronos Just leave us be, no?
Napoleon Aye...
Judai It couldn't be that you actually got fired, could it? Are you all right?
Napoleon How do you...
Chronos ...know of that, no?!
Sho The rumors' already floating around!
Judai C-Come on now, Professor Chronos...Vice Principal...
Napoleon

Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo! What shall Josephine say about this!?

Note: Josephine was the first wife of Napoléon Bonaparte. She was am empress of French.

Chronos I still have twenty-six years left on my mortgage, no?!!

Meanwhile, people hear the sound of helicopter flying above. They look up and see Pegasus J. Crawford trying to greet them. People remember Pegasus very call as the president of Industrial Illusion, the production of Duel Monster. He used to come to Duel Academia before with Hayato (episode 85). Vice Principal Napolean is currently thinking about a good chance of employment transfer. The helicopter finally lands on the deck, and Pegasus steps down to meet with Judai and the others. Judai greets him that he hasn't seen him for a while, asking for his business here. Pegasus tells him that Principal Samejima calls him here, so he is afraid that he may have no time with them today (Pegasus is actually the expected visitor of Principal Samejima).

While Pegasus is about to leave to meet Principal Samejima, he is stopped by Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon. Both of them are holding Pegasus' legs, asking for the employment with Pegasus' company. Judai and the others look a bit surprised. Pegasus obviously feels uncomfortable by the sudden request. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon say that they will neither give up nor let Pegasus go. Pegasus says that he has such an important business to go, so he doesn't have time to care of them. He is struggling to leave, but Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon still hold his legs tightly. Although this issue is just little matter for Pegasus, it is very important to them because it's the turning point of their lives. Pegasus doesn't listen, tells them to let him go, and tries hard to leave them. Both of them are too stubborn to let him go easily. People sees three of them busy with their foreign businesses (They are all foreigners not Japanese). They all wonder whether their teachers will be able to get the job with the company by acting like that.

Anyway, Judai decides that he should contact and report this to Principal Samejima directly through his PDA. Principal Samejima looks a bit surprised by receiving Judai's response. Judai reports that Pegasus has already come (He call him "President-San"). Principal Samejima is glad to have Judai brought him to his office. Judai is afraid to say so. The fact is that Pegasus is held by Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon although he tries to crawl away from them. Pegasus finally gives up and says that he's got it already. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon look so happy and feel relieved. However, Pegasus gives them one condition that they have to duel and beat him. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon get surprised by the sudden duel here and now. Pegasus gives them his promise. Since he has no time, he is going to duel two of them at a time. People understand that Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon are going to be the opponents of Pegasus. Sho calls it [Triangle Duel] as Judai gets very excited by this match. This is the first time for him to see this kind of duel. Thus, he feels sorry to Principal Samejima that he will talk later, shutting his PDA down quickly. Principal Samejima looks a bit confused by what's going on.

Pegasus, Chronos and Napoleon stand in triangle position near the seaport. Napoleon hopes for the unity from Chronos because this duel is bet by their employment. Chronos tells him that he realizes it well. Judai wonders whether their teachers will be fine as Sho thinks that they seem to have absolute disadvantage. Manjyome doesn't think so. It shouldn't matter whether Pegasus has the title of Duel Monster creator. When three of them are ready, the triangle duel begins. First turn is with Napoleon. He draws a card and summons [Toy Soldier - 3/800/300: When this card is on your Field during your Standby Phase, Special Summon cards of the same name from your deck to the Field] onto the field in attack position. Then, he ends his turn quickly.

The second turn comes to Chronos. Drawing a card, he summons [Antique Gear Soldier - 4/1300/1300: When this card attacks, your opponent can't activate Magic and Trap cards until the end of the Damage Step] onto the field in attack position. Like Napoleon, he ends his turn quickly here. Judai wonders why Professor Chronos ended his turn so fast without doing anything. Manjyome explains the triangle rule that all players can't attack in their first turns. Kenzan adds that they can later (in the second round) select the opponent target freely.

Pegasus admires two of them before saying that a stronger one between them will receive better treatment. Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon, on other words, realize that one of them who has more remaining LP will be in a higher position. Pegasus confirms before keeping on his turn. He draws a card and summons [Toon Alligator - 4/800/1600] onto the field in defense position. "What a cute reptile!", Kenzan exclaims while Judai looks amazed by the monster he has never seen before. Setting up a face-down card, he ends his turn.

The sound round starts with Napoleon. Once he draws a card, Chronos tells him that the real action will start from now on. Thus, he cheers up Napoleon to try his best. Napoleon doesn't look friendly. He reminds himself of what Pegasus said previously that the stronger one would get better employment treatment. Therefore, he can't make friend with Professor Chronos in this game, but must be serious to compete against him. He then activates the special effect of Toy Soldier. When this card remains in his standby phase, he can special summon other two Toy Soldiers from his deck onto the field. He next plays the magic card [Forced March ~ Kyoukougun - Magic: In this turn, the attack power of your Monsters is halved, and you can attack your opponent directly]. Chronos remembers that it's the card to halve the attack points of each Toy Soilder so that they can attack the opponent directly. As a result, each Toy Soldier' attack points become 400 (800/2).

Napolean commands the first and second Toy Soldiers to aim to Pegasus and fire. Pegasus receives the bullets, so his LP decreases to 3200 (4000-400-400). Chronos looks very happy, expecting the last strike against Pegasus. However, Napoleon declares the last target straight to Chronos. The bullet hits Chronos's bottom heart, so he gets hurt so much. He thinks that he has to get the same hit again (Chronos used to be hit at the same spot in episode 69). His LP decreases to 3600 (4000-400). Chronos claims that Napoleon did aim to the wrong target. Napoleon tells him that he must be able to jump into Industrial Illusion, no matter what. Chronos certainly gets mad and can't forgive him. Both of them stare unfriendly, trying to compete each other. Here's supposed to be the end of Napoleon's turn.

Antique Gear Bomb
Magic Card

Next turn is with Chronos. He draws a card and summons another Antique Gear Soldier onto the field in attack position. After that, he plays the magic card [Antique Gear Bomb - Magic: Select 1 monster on your side of the Field that includes Antique Gear in its name as a target to activate this card. Inflict damage to the opponent's Life Points equal to half the selected monster's original ATK points] from his hand. This card allows him select one Antique Gear monster on the field and inflict direct damages equal to the half of its attack points to the opponent. Chronos declares this effect against Pegasus. Gear Bomb is released to Pegasus' position and explodes. Pegasus' LP decreases to 2550 (3200-1300/2).

Napoleon looks so glad. By this play, there is high possibility that Pegasus may be defeated. Nevertheless, Chronos turns his sight to Napoleon unfriendly. He declares the normal double attacks of Antique Gear Soldiers against two Toy Soldiers. When two Toy Soldiers are destroyed, Napoleon's LP goes down to 3000 (4000+800+800-1300-1300). Napoleon gets mad and asks what Chronos did by attacking him. He claims that they can't get the employment if they don't cooperate well. Chronos reminds Napoleon that Napoleon was actually the one who previously hindered him and didn't give the cooperation. As a result, Chronos can't allow him to work and get the employment. Sho sees that even adults like them always have a quarrel. Kenzan thinks that the adults like them haven't evolved at all (It should be "improved" or "grew" but Kenzan says "shinka" or "evolved" in dinosaur term). This even makes Manjyome feels very sick of their unsightly behavior. Judai looks a bit disappointed. This isn't the triangle duel that he has expected. It's just the confrontation between Professor Chronos and Vice Principal Napoleon.

summary - second period
episode 92 summarized by Janime/Horoko

The game has come to half way. Napoleon has 3000 LP with Toy Soldier on the field in attack position. Pegasus has 2550 LP with Toon Alligator in defense position. Lastly, Chronos has 3600 LP and two Antique Gear Soldiers. Chronos and Napoleon are still arguing against each other. Because they seemed unable to cooperate well, Chronos decides to cancel to tie the unity with Napoleon.

Both of them keep on arguing until Pegasus has to pick up his watch to see time. The time's almost up, so he has to hurry up. The turn has come to Pegasus. He draws a card and says that he will invite them into the his very beloved toon world. People look a bit surprised. Judai asks what Toon means by then. Sho explains that it's something in comic. Pegasus removes five cards in his deck from the game to activate the permanent magic [Toon Kingdom - Permanent Magic: {Discard 5 cards in your deck from the game in order to activate this card. This card's name is treated as Toon World as long as this card exists face-up on the field. By discarding 1 card in your Deck from play, a monster that includes Toon in their name on your side of the Field cannot be destroyed as a result of a battle. (Damage Calculations are still applied.)}]. The five cards are thrown away, and there appears a big green toon book. A page is open with the emerging of a castle.

Chronos and Napoleon look very surprised while Pegasus explains its effect. It allows him to sacrifice Toon Alligator to special summon [Toon Dark Magician Girl - 6/2000/1700: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned while Toon World exists on your side of the field. You can Special Summon this monster from your hand, but Tributes are required for monsters Level 5 or more. When Toon World on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If your opponent does not control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If a face-up Toon Monster is on your opponent's side of the field, you must select the Toon Monster as an attack target. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each Dark Magician or Magician of Black Chaos in either players Graveyard] onto the field in attack position. Sho looks very glad to see Dark Magician Girl again (He's attracted to and once met with Dark Magician Girl in episode 42). However, he feels that this Dark Magician Girl looks a bit different.

Pegasus explains that the monsters of his field are all Toon monsters. According to the special effect of Toon Dark Magician Girl, when the opponent doesn't control Toom monster, Toon Dark Magician Girl can attack the opponent directly. Thus, Pegasus declares the attack of Toon Dark Magician Girl against Chronos. After Chronos gets the direct hit, his LP decreases to 1600 (3600-2000). Pegasus next plays the magic card [Shadow Toon - Magic: {This card can only be activated when you have Toon World exists on your side of the field. Select 1 Monster on your opponent's side of the field and inflict damage to the opponent's Life Points equal to that monster's ATK.}]. This card allows Pegasus to inflict the damages equal to the attack points of a monster on the opponent's field, Antique Gear Golem of Chronos, to Napoleon. Shadow Toon attacks Napoleon by the attack points of Antique Gear Golem. Therefore, Napoleon's LP goes down to 1700 (3000-1300). Here is the end of Pegasus' turn.

Judai looks very worried about Vice Principal Napoleon. Kenzan thinks that it's such a strong deck. Manjyome notes that it may be Toon deck, the only one deck in the world held by President Pegasus. Chronos accepts such a strength. Napoleon tells him that it's turned out like this because Chronos broke out the cooperation. Chronos argued back that Napoleon was also the one who broke up. Napoleon's next turn is coming, so he expects Chronos not to be in his way.

The turn comes to Napoleon. Drawing a card, he plays the magic card [The Emperor's Coronation ~ Koutei No Taikanshiki - Magic: Upon activation, sacrifice 1 Toy Soldier, Special Summon 1 Toy Emperor from your deck]. It allows him to sacrifice the last Toy Soldier on the field to special summon [Toy Emperor - 6/2300/800When this card destroys a Monster as a result of battle, place 1 Trap card from your deck into your hand] onto the field in attack position. He declares its attack against Toon Dark Magician Girl. Thus, Pegasus' LP decreases to 2250 (2550+2000-2300). Napoleon looks happy that he finally did it. At this moment, Pegasus activate the special effect of Toon Kingdom. By removing a card, Gorgon's Eye, from his deck from the gave, he can keep Toon Dark Magcian Girl from destruction. Thus, Toy Emperor is trying to cut off Toon Dark Magician Girl, but Dark Magician Girl can dodge and jump back to Pegasus. Pegasus claims that as long as his Toon World exists, his Toon monsters can't avoid any kind of attack. They are the totally perfect. Napoleon looks a bit disappointed. He sets up a face-down card, ends his turn, and finally collapses onto the ground.

Chronos later also collapses. He thinks that they have no chance to win. Napoleon agrees since Pegasus is as great as the creator of Duel Monster. Pegasus thinks that the result should be determined already. It can't be helped that they can't win at all. Pegasus hates wasting time, so he suggests them surrender. Chronos and Napoleon look at each other and are about to give up. Suddenly, Judai calls them and tells them not to give up easily. They should keep it up since nobody can expect what's gonna happen until the end. Chronos tries to get up and regain his fighting spirit. If he gives up here, everything he has done so far for this school will be useless. Napoleon also turns to burn out after he gets encouraged by drop-out Judai. Chronos tells him that they are all the students he teaches. Everybody looks at their teachers very proudly. Pegasus asks whether they still want to go on. Both Chronos and Napoleon confirm that they want to show the students their last duel and must not be defeated unsightly.

Judai Don't give up, Professor Chronos! Vice Principal Napoleon!
Chronos Signor Judai...
Judai You don't know what'll happen till the end! Show us that you can't waste on your time on an impossible challenge!
Chronos Signor Judai...Heh. You're right, no! If I give up here, everything I've done in this academy would have been for nothing, no!
Napoleon I must be getting slow to be taking the pep-talk of yonder drop-out.
Chronos

They are the students I teach na no ne~

Pegasus Do you still what to keep on?
Napoleon I will show the students the last duel dearu~
Chronos We must not be defeated unsightly.

The turn is now with Chronos. He sacrifice two Antique Gear Soldiers on the field to summon [Angique Gear Golem - 8/3000/3000: This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of a Defense Mode Monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Magic or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step] onto the field in attack position. At this moment, Pegasus opens his face-down trap card [Toon Suitcase ~ Toon No Kaban - Trap: This card can only be activated when you have Toon World exists on your side of the field. When your opponent Normal Summons a monster on his/her side of the field. Return that monster to your opponent's Deck]. It can be activated only if the opponent summons a monster onto the field, forcing the summoned monster to return to the opponent's deck.

Toon Suitcase moves forward to Antique Gear Golem. Chronos wonders whether his monster is going to be eaten. At this moment, Napoleon opens his trap card [Mulfunction - Counter Trap: Pay 500 Life Points. Negate the activations of a Trap Card and return it to its original position] to save Chronos. Napoleon has to pay his 500 LP to negate the activation of Pegasus' trap card. Napoleon's LP goes down to 1200 (1700-500). Chronos apprciate Napoleon's help pretty much. Judai, Sho, and Kenzan see that their teachers are so cool, cheering them out loud. Chronos declares that they must win this game no matter what.

Chronos then activates [Antique Gear Hand - Equipment Magic: {This card can only be equipped to a monster that includes Antique Gear in its name? At the end of the Battle Phase in which the monster equipped with this card has gone through battle, you can destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field.}] and equips it with Antique Gear Golem. He once declares the attack of Antique Gear Golem against Toon Dark Magician Girl. Pegasus says that it's useless since his Toon monster can't be destroyed in battle. Toon Dark Magician Girl bends its body to dodge the gear bullet of Antique Gear Golem. Anyway, Pegasus has to receive the damages, and his LP decreases to 1250 (2250+2000-3000). He thinks that it doesn't matter even if his LP decreases since he will be able to beat them in the next turn.

Chronos wonders whether it can happen. The gear bullet of Antique Gear Golem turns itself in the sky and moves back to Toon Dark Magician Girl. Toon Dark Magician Girl runs away and screams before it's got away by the gear bullet. Chronos explains the special effect of Antique Gear Hand that it can destroy one monster on Pegasus' field at the end of his battle phase. Manjyome says that it means if an effect is used outside the battle phase, Toon monsters can be destroyed. Judai is very impressed by such smart idea of his teacher. Here is supposed to be the end of Chronos' turn.

It's also unbelievable to Pegasus. He is also very impressed by their wonderful job and miracle unity. It's now Pegasus' turn. He draws a card and plays the magic card [Comic Hand - Equipment Magic: {Take control of a monster on your opponent's side of the field that is equipped with this card and treat that monster as if it were a Toon Monster. When Toon World is not on your side of the field, destroy this card. When this card is destroyed, return the monster to its original controller. If your opponent does not control a Toon Monster on his/her side of the field, the equipped monster can attack your opponent's Life Points directly.}]. It allows him to take control one of the opponent's monster. Thus, Magic Hand emerges from Toon Kingdom and catches Antique Gear Golem back to Toon Kingdom book. Pegasus repeated what he said before. All monsters on his field are Toon monsters. That means Antique Gear Golem is also to be Toon Antique Gear Golem. Chronos looks very surprised.

Furthermore, Pegasus removes 5 cards from his deck from the game to activate the magic card [Copycat - Magic: {Remove 5 cards in your Deck from the play in order to activate this card. You can select 1 card from your opponent's Graveyard and add it to your hand.}]. This card allows him to get one card from the opponent's cemetery. Copycat the moves toward Chronos, hands into his graveyard, and gets the magic card, Antique Gear Bomb. Napoleon gets mad and yells, "Give it back, drop-out cat!". Copycat tranforms itself into the card it stole, Antique Gear Bomb so that Toon Antique Gear Golem can use. By the effect of Antique Gear Bomb a half of Toon Antique Gear Golem's attack points will inflict to the opponent directly. Chronos explains that it means they have to receive 1500 direct damage points (3000/2).

Toon Antique Gear Golem then throws Antique Gear Bomb into Napoleon. There appears the big explosion before Napoleon's LP does down to 0 (1200-1500). While Chronos gets stunned, Pegasus declares the direct attack of Toon Antique Gear Golem against Chronos. Chronos gets such a big punch from his own monster while his LP goes down to 0 (1600-3000). Both of them are finally defeated. However, in their student's sights, they already did pretty well and looked very cool at the end. Kenzan thinks that he has to look at or change his attitute toward his teachers again. Chronos and Napoleon try to hold their hands together, feeling very upset by that their employment chance may be gone already. Anyway, Pegasus steps in and says that they have already passed his examination. Chronos and Napoleon become very surprised. Pegasus explains that, in his company, he doesn't look at only strength. The important things are the hearts that don't give up the unity. Chronos and Napoleon are happy and assume that it means they have already been accepted into the employment. Thus, they hold each other and cry happily.

The gang then walks in. Judai wonders whether they are serious to leave the school. Sho thinks that everybody should be lonely. Kenzan thinks that there are many things he wants to learn from them. Chronos tells them not to say such selfish things. Napoleon says that they won't forget them anyway although they are at Industrial Illusion. Judai, Sho, and Kenzan really appreciate and run in to hug their teachers. Everybody holds each other and cries. Only Manjyome doesn't share his feeling although the teachers seem to receive the student's tears as a gift already. He turns his face away and just sees Principal Samejima running in.

Principal Samejima greets President Pegasus and asks what's going on here. Kenzan explains that because the teachers were going to get fired from the school, they approached into the duel for the new employment. Principal Samejima certainly looks very surprised as if he has no idea what this is all about. Chronos and Napoleon remind Principal Samejima of what he said previously to them. Principal Samejima told them to get out, so they assume that it means to get fired. Principal Samejima has just remembered it. Actually, he didn't mean to fire them. At that time, he was depressed and felt that he was on edge, so he feels sorry to them. People all get shocked by this misunderstanding. Pegasus looks happy and thinks that things seem to turn better because he didn't feel comfortable to take them from their students. Judai tells them that they should feel relieved now. Anyway, Chronos and Napoloen seemingly feel disappointed by this opportunity with Industrial Illusion. They can't say loudly that they are happy that things eventually turn out like this.

to be continued...
